• Pacman "key could not be looked up remotely", "run-parts: key unknown"

I am getting errors shown when running `pacman -Syu`
Whats wrong & how can I fix this?
UPDATE
OK, this is solved by
mv /etc/pacman.conf.pacnew /etc/pacman.conf
Then probably you need to uncomment ... below ... in pacman.conf
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Then
pacman -S filesystem --force
And
rm /etc/profile.d/locale.sh

I can't install anything. Keep getting that error
You should be able to install packages, but you need to download them manually [1] and install with 'pacman -U packagename'.

how can i solve the vpn server could not be found error on my iphone 5s?

FWIW, back at work we have a Palo Alto Networks firewall and VPN. Have configured both the iPhone and the iPad with the pertinent details.
If I connect while in the premises (same LAN), connection is instantaneous and flawless.
If I connect while away, no matter which external network, the first attempt to connect ALWAYS fails with a NOT FOUND error. Yet if I try again immediately after, it ALWAYS connects with no further issues.

Hi Assennatog, the problem could be in the registry keys that are still present even if you completely uninstalled all the NI SW. So, after having uninstalled every NI apllication, try to execute the keys deleting proccess, by using MSIBlast, in the way it's explained in the attached doc. Ciao!

I have a brand new hard drive from apple after the old one failed, a new logic board and trackpad, so i doubt that it is a hardware issue.
Backup your drive, erase your drive, restore your backup. Then partition for Boot Camp.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

i just found your Question here, while I was searching the SCN for a solution. Because I had the same Issue.
In the SAP Support Portal I found the SAP Note 1512896 - KPro: Index category could not be created.
Take a Look at it. I guess, that could solve your problem (if it´s still exists)
Regards
André

• Error 0x00000709 operation could not be compleated Double check the printer name etc.

After installing my new printer and removing all other printers from my computer I now can not make the only printer listed as my default printer. I get this error 0X00000709 operation could not be completed Double check the printer name and make sure it is connected. I have done all that over and over again. I also I have reinstalled the old printer software and tried to default to my new printer at that time and still the same error. I have checked my register and it has the old printer listed but does not allow me to change it. I now have removed all but the new printer from my computer but I still can not make it my default printer. Programs such as Adobe only recognizes the default printer (which is not there any more) and don't even list the new printer as an option. The printer works just fine accept with the programs that uses the default printer. The Windows Hardware and Device Troubleshooting finds the problem (printer not set as default)but can not fix it.
I sure wish someone out there could help me get rid of the error and allow me to default my printer again. I have noticed other people have had this same issue with error 0X00000709 using other Windows versions as well. I have been trying to resolve this issue for the past three months and would appreciate any and all ideas.
I have an HP Pavilion elite HPE 337C computer running with Window 7 and I installed my new HP LaserJet PRO CM1415fnw color MFP printer. My old printer that I removed (but is still listed in my Regester) was an HP 6500 inkJet.

After doing some research on the net:
This link provided an answer:
https://exploreb2b.com/articles/solving-error-0x00000709-cant-set-default-printer-problem
Regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software->Microsoft->Windows NT->Current Version->Windows
One of the entries you should see in the right hand pane is“Device”. If the value for “Device” as noted under the “Data” area is anything other than the printer you are using, then highlight “Device” in the right hand pane with the mouse and press the delete key to remove it. (I edited it and put the name of the printer I wanted to be the default)
VI. Restart the computer so it starts with the altered Windows system registry. (Italics mine)

• Crystal report error (The table '' could not be found)

Dear Expert,
As I know, the end user who don't want to edit the crystal report design no need to buy crystal report,right?
Using the 'Crystal reports for SAP B1', they already view the report.
But, how about, if I had created one crystal report, and then I want to distribute to end user. When I load the report on user machine that dont have crystal report, the system shown an error (The table '' could not be found).
I think, maybe because of the database location. When I create the report, of course I made connection to my machine as a source of database location. But, how i'm going to change the database location to user machine?
Is it when we login into SAP, did SAP auto detect the new location source? And will auto create connection to the crystal report?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi ,
We do not create the database connection for the end user. the end user must have the same database connection as it is set up on your machine. The report is looking for the same connection, with the same access into the database.
Best regards,
Jadie

• Error: Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed.

CA Forum: Deployment
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is due to bad deployment, but I suspect it is, at least due to bad environment.
My env is:
Solaris 10 64 bit
Oracle 10g client installed under /opt/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1
BOXIR2 + FP2.6 installed under /opt/reporting, running under user 'bouser'. by the way, 'tnsping' works via that user.
Important bouser env:
ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1
TNS_ADMIN=$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$ORACLE_HOME/lib32
I reboot the box, then start BO like so:
cd /opt/reporting/bobje
. setup/env.sh
./mysqlstartup.sh
./startservers
./tomcatstartup
Then, I import a BIAR file with some reports, and whenever I try to open any report via infoview, I get a gray error message INSTEAD of the input param form:
Error:
Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed. Please contact your system administrator.
This does not occur in our BOXIR2 on Windows, which is why I'm guess it's a deployment/env issue. The main obstacle I have is: how do I diagnose this? there's nothing in the bobje/logging folder, nothing in the /var/adm/message file except for the following line:
May 5 15:23:23 testbox1 boe_pagesd[3865]: [ID 253862 user.error] A failure occurred while the Page Server was processing report 'test report' (id=777) for user Administrator
pls advise,
thank you.

The solution is to turn off the printer preference (bottom of Page Setup screen) in the Crystal Report before uploading to the Server. Thanks to: http://pinchii.com/home/2011/12/error-adding-reports-to-crystal-reports-server/
The explanation, from a comment in the above linked blog post:
"To elaborate more on the error, what basically happens is that the Crystal Reports engine tries to get the status of the u201Creport printeru201D aka u201Cdefault printeru201D which was present on the system when the report was created, but the printer does not exist anymore. This causes the Crystal engine to error out. By setting the report to u201CNo Printeru201D, it tells the Crystal Engine not to look for that report printer when opening the report."

• ITunes error message / "iTunes could not connect to the music store...

The past week, I have been having problems connecting to the iTunes music store. I purchased my ipod in 10/05 and have had no problems until recently. I keep receiving the following error message:
"iTunes could not connect to the music store. Network connection was refused. Make sure your network settings are correct & network connection is active, then try again."
I went onto the website, and checked various things. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and the software, checked to see if I have any firewalls (none), checked to see if I have Windows XP service pack 2 (I have 1), and contacted my ISP (AOL). Help! I have AOL 8.0 dial up, and have had service with them for a couple of years now, so that is not an issue. Per AOL, I tried uninstalling AOL adapter and restarting my computer, and also deleting cookies and deleting files/all offline content, defaulted my security settings (they were the same), and reset web settings. I have restarted my computer, but am still having the same issues. I already contacted iTunes about this issue, and they sent me the same email twice, with the same instructions as their website, which I indicated I already tried numerous times. I have also checked my connections, and everything is fune. I try to access iTunes after logging into AOL.
Thank you in advance to everybody that responds.
Emily

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I keep trying to do that, and have not been able to download for about a week. After contact customer support, I received the general "technical support" email, which is the same information found on the website. After replying to the email, which stated that I tried already tried the methods listed, I received the same email again. After replying to that email which included the previous threads, I received an email stating that the deparment I replied to does not handle technical issues. So, tonight, I re-emailed them with all of the threads and asked for an explanation of why I received technical emails if they do not respond to technical emails. It will be interesting to see how they respond, although it will probably be some general email. I sometimes respond to member service emails at my place of employment, so I know the procedure. The bottom line is that I should receive answers to my questions, even if the answer is something along these lines:
"I am researching your problem, and will contact you within the next xx hours/business days with a resolution. We value you as a customer, and strive to maintain excellent customer support and satisfaction. Thank you for your patience."
Or, a similar response. I know there is a general response library. And, I also know that if some body is unable to answer a question, as customer support, they should try utilize their resources. Basically, be a problem solver.
