As I promised I will post some bugs I found. Will start from the most annoying for me:
1. Visual designer does not show JSPF fragment components inside GridPanel or GroupPanel. This is just a terrible issue.
2. CSS cannot be be assigned to JSPF during design time. I understand that JSPFs use CSS of the container page in run time but how am I going to design JSPF without CSS? Do I have to always go to the container page and preview how JSPF really looks? Sometimes when I get back from the container to JSPF it retains the styling but after refresh it gets absolutely styless again.
3. If I am binding the "Rendered" property of a component (such as grid panel), it disappears from the visual designer (after you click refresh) and will never reappear until you unbind it.

(1) VIsual designer does not show JSPF fragment inside GridPanel or GroupPanel: The reason this happens is that GridPanel and GroupPanel are JSF components which encode their own children; you can't put plan markup as direct children of these components (you can't do that for data table either). And a page fragment is going to be an HTML fragment; usually a <div> (look at the JSP source of your fragment). We should try to handle this better; at a minimum preventing the drop (since it doesn't work) but better yet try to fix it if we can. An< f:verbatim> here isn't what you want (this is how you can usually embed html in encoding-children components) because you don't want the JSF children of your html tag inserted verbatim. Somebody in support, can you file an issue to track this one please?
(2) CSS in fragments: That's a reasonable request. The reason it's not shown there is as you suspected; fragments don't have their own stylesheets (stylesheets can only be added to html documents in the <head> section, and fragments are portions of <body>.)
Also, in addition to not knowing which stylesheets are in pages that might include the fragments, we also don't know the context; when you see a fragment included in another page it doesn't just pick up styles from the stylesheets but from the context too (for example, a font-size: 48pt setting on a containing element will inherit right into the fragment). Thus, the fragment needs to know the exact element context it should use too.
If there are multiple pages including the fragment, they might use the same stylesheet if we're lucky, but the fragments will almost certainly have different style element contexts.
As you've noticed, the fragments already show the styling of the last page they were rendered as part of. This is a side effect of model sharing, and it's a bug I didn't think important to fix since it's sometimes nice ;-)
However, I can see the argument that in some cases, especially if a fragment is included by only pages with the same stylesheet, it would be nice to apply those styles in the fragments too, even if it won't correctly include other style contexts from the pages. That's a reasonable request.
(3) Rendered value binding: I agree, we should special case this to make sure rendered is considered true at designtime. I've gotta investigate how that works with some layout components though (like card layout) which I think relies on this (hiding all but one at design time)).

My new speakers make the most annoying hissing noise!

I have just purchased a set of creative megaworks 250d, now having owned an older set of speakers from creative in the past (dt surround system) i had expected the same good quality sound and craftsmanship.
What did i get? The most annoying hissing sound in the world!
I switch my system on and it gives out an audible hiss which can be heard upto 5-10meters away, this is completely ridiculous and pretty much ruins any sound which isnt played at a loud level!
Ive contacted creative customer support who told me to return my product? well, fat use that is when i got my system from ebay and apparently the entire range does the same thing anyway?
Please no comments about how my system is setup wrong and whether i have power interference, because just to check this i've been to maplins today to buy a power conditioner/filter (which cost me ?100 i may add) and a ground loop isolator, neither of these made any difference at all, still the digital snake invades my ears every time i turn the system on.
Now i dont know what your trying to pull down at creative labs, but i can guarantee you wont be staying in the market lead making 'high quality computer audio products' that are by design defective. I want a valid solution to my problem please, i see 100 other threads on the internet concerning the same thing and quite frankly its not good enough. How much would it have cost you to install a pass filter inline to the amplifier to reduce this hiss? or is there one and its broken? is it the remote like some people are suggesting?

*BUMP* Any solution would be good? im fairly adept with electronics so dont mind taking the unit apart if a technician would like to tell me how to fix this hiss. Would a low pass filter on the speaker line be a good solution or maybe ferrite coils on the positve wire?, would either of those work before i go out and spend yet more money?

Is there any way that we could sticky the most-used topics in this section? I use the Unity-for-Arch thread frequently, and I see other threads that are quite large. I see that the ATI thread was made sticky, for good reason. Can we do the same on the larger threads, such as Unity-for-Arch, KF 5 and Plasma, i3, Pantheon Shell, etc.?

I reallllllllllllllllllllllly wish someone could help me out with this. My contacts are not syncing with phone calls or text messages. Im only getting the phone# and when I try to add a contact from a text message that's already in my address book, it repeats the #, one under "mobile" and one under "iPhone". ***?!?! I'm never going to do a software update EVER AGAIN, how in the world does trying to help make your phone better make it worse?? I've tried the iCloud thing, I've tried turning it completely off then on again, I've tried just about everything I can think of and NOTHING is helping. I've made another appt. to speak with an Apple customer service rep, but got nowhere when I spoke with one yesterday. You also could try Firefox's Safe Mode.

HT3775 Isn't Quicktime the most annoying media player? Seriously, more than 1000 dlls in each of my two macs and neither of them can play my avi videos with this, so frustrated... Am I the only one?

The thing is, I cant play my avi videos in Quicktime because it ask me for some codec, not saying which one in specific... I have a Macbook air mid 2011 and a macbook pro and same issue, I'm using better VLC to play videos, but why the native apple software cant play my content which, by the way, windows 7 devices plays without issues. Maybe this question is not enough to open a new post, but somehow we need to make noise, is not possible that we left apple being so unrespectful with us after all the money we expend in their products... What do you think?

AVI was invented by Microsoft over twenty years ago. They abandoned it in favor of more modern WMP formats.
As you've found out not all AVI's work the same way on different OS's or devices. VLC can play many more formats (out of the box) than the standard QuickTime Player but a bit of searching will lead you to components that assit QuickTime.

TS5376 iTunes once again won't close. Past versions of iTunes had the most annoying behavior that when ever closed it would immediately reopen. Apple update just installed the latest version and the problem is back. Help.

Past versions of iTunes for Windows had the annoying behavior that it couldn't be closed. If I tried to exit or close the window iTunes would just open back up again. It had gone away, but apple just installed version 11.1.5.5 and it's back! The only way to exit is to open task manager and kill the process. Nothing else seems to work. Guess what Apple, I really don't want to have iTunes open all the time. I think the only answer is to stop using iTunes, since I don't have any Apple devices anyway, and go with a different music player on my PC.

Described problem has nothing common neither with Vista nor Lenovo. It's your Internet - it may be slow or you may have problems with your router or you've launched torrents/eMule in backgrond. Many things can cause such behaviour but none of them can be adressed Lenovo or Vista.
Plese try using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 instead of IE that is buggy. Also test your speed and post it here - that'll help to resolve the case.

OK, I get it. You want me to pay. But I am not going to pay. And I am not going to listen to a 3 minute, 30 second long ad disguised as music, from a genre I consider junk, in the middle of a classical music playlist. The Mates of State are not Bach. They aren't Beethoven. They don't use violins, cellos, or flutes. You may think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I didn't come to Spotify to listen to The Mates of State.
Don't get me wrong: I will be happy to listen to real ads, because that's what I signed up for, ads in the middle of my playlist. But if you must force me to listen to someone else's musical tastes, well, then I will say goodbye. And that really is that. Google Music is one click away, and guess what It's free. What a shame. I was really enjoying listening to the collections people create here. But if I come back and here this hideous song by Mates of State again, if you insist that I listen to music I don't like, don't want to like, and well, refuse to like, well, then goodbye.

I came to complain about the same thing. I am sitting here listening to a playlist I made for my church and then this comes on. Some people might like it, and I might even listen to it when I am in that kind of mood, but to make me listen to a whole "song" that I didn't ask to listen to is terrible.

Im having the most annoying of Iphone problems. :(

So i've had my iphone a few months, and it all started off fine. However, Recently my phone has been crashing a lot, blue screening, and freezing frequently. I have never damaged it and so i had decided to reset my phone to factory settings and re update to iOS 8.1.3 through Itunes on my MacBook Pro, To determine whether my phone was faulty, or if it was a software related issue. I put my phone into recovery mode and connected my phone, clicked restore, and followed the on screen instructions. When it came to the download (which was only 1.74GB, i usually get 4.4mbps download speeds) i got an estimated download time of 49 hours. I have attempted this multiple times to the same ****** 11kbps download speeds, and it is completely stupid that i am expected to leave my phone alone for over 2 whole days to download iOS 8. Does anybody know any other ways i can do this, or how to improve my speeds> i saw someone suggest connecting to googles free DNS, which i tried and i get the exact same speeds. I left it to download for 11 hours through the night and woke up to only 340mb of the download completed. Someone must have a fix for this, I'm starting to have enough with the Iphone. for 500 pound this just isn't really what you should recieve.

Are you using the latest version of iTunes? Have you temporarily disabled your anti-virus software. Generally, long times like this, especially this late after introduction of updates, are caused by real-time anti-virus scanners. They can slow downloads down to a snail's pace. When I downloaded on my computer, iOS 8.1.3 only took about 10 minutes, but then I have 30Mb/s download speeds. I would look at that.
EDIT: Sorry, as I re-read your post, I noticed you were on a Mac, and probably don't have anti-virus software. I couldn't provide any other explanation.

Flash Player is the Most annoying thing ever

Cant get adobe to work. It keeps freezing my computer for about 60 seconds when i try to watch youtube or something. 'Adobe flash player has crashed do you want to send crash report?' comes up on the screen. Then low and behold it starts working maybe 2 days later then it stops working again in another 2 days! And its a constant cycle like this.Its simply wrecking my head. I've read all the forums and tried everything, nothing seems to be working, and the 'great' people at the help centre gave me great advise, they told me to go to the forums!!! Is that their job to redirect people to the forums? Easiet job ever, i want that job, muppets! Sorry i'm ranting now but its so frustrating!

Hi, you didn't mention any computer info, but you are probably using FF(Firefox)? No one is going to help you until you post your computer information, 64bit or 32bit, browsers Installed and version numbers.
Flash Player is not the problem, it's everything that a user has Installed into their browser most of the time that causes problems. Or they don't have Flash Player Installed correctly and a hundred other reasons:-)

I'd like to see them improve the "suggestions" (just hire someone from blackberry for this, my (work) BB curve is light years better). iOS almost never gets it right.
I think that would make the fact that it is a 'click-to-deny' system so much more tolerable. I get so frustrated when it wants to correct a word I'm spelling the way I intended to, to some ridiculous word. Other times my word is only wrong by one letter and the correct word isn't even a suggestion.
Spellcheck/autocorrect and notifications are easily the worst two features of iOS.

2.) Importing a clip: DV/DVCPRO - NTSC 720x480
3.) Exporting: Quick Time Movie, Self-Contained, Current Settings.
4.) Resulting QT movie looks softer than original footage
-Why? Is footage getting re-compressed or something?
-Should I always export using Uncompressed 10-bit?
-I am only using a computer monitor. Would the quality loss be visible on an NTSC monitor as well?

Probably because you're viewing it on a computer monitor and the default QT quality setting for the file hasn't been reset to "High." With the file open in QT, hit 'command j' to bring up the movie's properties. Choose Video Track and then Quality to reset it. Possibly the most annoying thing on the face of this planet.

Obviously I've done something horribly wrong because I absolutely cannot log into a computer I've been trying to set up for my parents. My parents have a 1.25 GHz eMac and needed Leopard installed so they could sync a new iPod touch with iTunes, since Tiger does not support iTunes 10. So I upgraded the computer via target disk mode with an iBook G4 that collects dust in my closet and restarted the eMac, followed through with the setup assistant and created an account. The problem is that directly after the setup assistant finishes and ironically tells me "Enjoy your Mac!", instead of going straight to the desktop like I'm used to, it brings me to a blank login box. It shakes no matter what I put in. Even the user name and password I just created. If anyone happens to know what's up, I'll be forever grateful!

Which exact procedure did you use? If you booted the ibook and installed to the e-Mac then the installer may have put an ibook version of the OS onto the e-Mac. If the e-Mac does not have a DVD drive you can borrow the ibook's drive by putting the ibook in TDM and do it that way around.
