Some tax codes dont appear in SRM dropdown box

Hi,
We seem to have several tax codes in R/3, but only a handful appear in the dropdown box in SRM. Can anybody help?
John

Thanks, we have removed the default setting, but that does not change the available options.  Instead it just defaults it to blank, but I still can only select blank or A1.
The only way that I can get A0 to appear in the header drop down is to add it at the header level Tax tab, where it list all available tax codes.
When i go back to the Basic data Tab the drop down contains:
A1 (Input (10%) Tax Deductible)
A0
<blank>
So it doesn't display the description of tax code A0, so it is like it knows that it shouldn't be there.
Even though A0 is listed in the header section, I am unable to select it at the line item level.

  • Configure Multiple Tax Codes to appear in MIRO

    Hi,
We have a scenario where a PO was created with a line item which had an incorrect tax code (A1 instead of A0).  It has been posted and GR.  When posting the invoice I would like to correct the tax code for that line item, however I only have the option of A1 or blank.  How can I configure the system to allow more than one tax code to be available for selection at a line item level.
I have played around with the Tax Tab in MIRO to add A0 there, and that results in the drop down box in the header to display A0, but it is still not available in the line item view.
    Thanks

  • Surcharge tax code not appear in Remittance Challan(J1INCHLN)

    Hi,
Surcharge W/tax code is not being displayed in Remittance Challan(J1INCHLN). While we go to J1INCHLN for Creation of Remittance Challan - Post Outgoing Payment :Header Data(F-07) adjusting with 1 based on Document Number it shows all four values of Base, Surcharge, Education Cess and Higher Edu Cess. After adjusting Total TDS value value and SAVE the document, screen appears Create Remittance Challans. Here it shows Bsse, Education Cess and Higher Edu Cess values with corresponding tax codes except surcharge tax codes and values. As a result Total TDS value which was deducted in J1INCHLN (F-07) screen is not being matched with TDS amount which shows in the screen after saving the record. Why this Surcharge tax code and corresponding value is not being appeard after configuration in J1INSUR ?
    Regards,
    Anindita

    Hi,
1.If you have separate tax codes for Surcharges, J_1IEWT_SURC table
should be maintained, by setting the check box checked, for the company
code. Those tax codes should be available in the J_1IEWTSURC table (use
    SM30 to maintain these values)
    2.  If you are using separate tax codes for Education cess, those tax
codes should be maintained in the J_1IEWTECESS table and 'X' should be
maintained for the company code in J_1IEWT_ECFLAG table.
    3. Make sure that in the table for surcharge you have only the tax types
relevant for surcharge AND DOES NOT CONTAIN TAX TYPES RELEVANT TO
    BASIC TAX AND CESS AND
Make sure that in the table for ECESS you have only the tax types
relevant for ECESS AND DOES NOT CONTAIN TAX TYPES RELEVANT TO
    BASIC TAX AND SURCHARGE

    Hi
If you wish to default the tax code for the planned delivery costs this
must be obtained from an independent source which is OMR2.
With OMR2 it is possible to default the tax in the delivery cost
line + header tax. It is not possible to default only in the delivery
cost line. The header tax needs to be changed manually to support the
different tax codes in the item lines.

  • Tax code not getting picked up from PO during SES

    Dear Experts,
I am looking for configuration where the end user need not enter Tax code during SES. I tried a scenario where I did not maintain any service master and also did not enter any line item in service tab at item level, rather I processed my PO using limits.
Now when I prepare SES using this PO, Tax code is not getting picked up from PO and some tax code(I1) appears. Since I don't want end user to input any tax code I've left it blank.
Finally when I am doing MIRO, i am not able select the desired Tax code(say I8) as it is not available for selection. I get only one Tax code(say I1) available for selection. Even other Tax codes are not available for selection.
Please advise, how do I resolve this, why is the Tax code not getting picked up in SES? and why am I not getting other tax codes for selection in MIRO?
    Thanks and Regards
    Mansih

    Hi,
Tax for service maintained in the service PO in the INVOICE TAB in item details. You are not going to maintain the service tax during SES. In SES you are just recognizing / confirming the vendor performed /completed the required service given to him.
During invoice tax code will flow from service PO to Invoice & you need to just select check box u201Ccalculate taxu201D & remove default tax code in MIRO, if any tax code set for default entry in MIRO. If you want your service tax code should appear in the MIRO screen then just activate in t.code:OBZT (relevant for all transaction),then  you can select your service tax code during invoice verification WRT service PO.

  • Different Tax codes in SRM PO and replicate ECC PO

    Hello Experts,
Problem related to the TaX code in replicated PO .
We are in Extended classic scenario.
In SRM, when creating Shopping cart we enter manual tax code like e1(20%) or e2(25%) etc and when PO gets generated and replicated in the backend the tax code changes from E1 to V4.
Now in SRM PO the tax code is E1 and in backend replicated PO the tax code is v4.
I have checked the condition records in MEK3 t-code in ECC and found that condition record for same region is v4, i think because of this condition record the system is overwriting the tax code which is coming from SRM system.
Irrespective of any tax code which is coming from SRM PO , the ecc PO overwrites the V4 tac code for same region.
How i can overwrite that the SRM and ECC should have the same tax code as chosed in SRM at the time of creating a SC or a PO
    Please help to accomplish
    Thanks

  • Tax code in SRM not same as in ECC

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 ECS scenario. We have 5 different tax codes in ECC. Now the standard ECC functionality is that these tax codes are maintained in the purchase Info record. When we create ECC PO, the tax code is adopted from the PIR.
We want the same thing to take place in SRM. Our current setting is that we have maintained a default Tax code in SRM, and all SC line items get this Tax code. But our requirement is to fetch the tax code from PIR. SRM 7 should allow this as a standard functionality, same as ECC.
Is there any configuration to achieve this?
If there is no configuration, what is the customization that we need to do and in which BADI?
    Sumendra

    Hello,
Check if an active implementation of BBP_DET_TAXCODE_BADI is changing the selected tax code.
Also, any PO badi could influence this behaviour.
    Kind regards
    Ricardo

  • Tax code missing in local sales GL line item

    Hi,
When I released Accounting document from local sales billing, I found in that RV type accounting document, the GL 40000120 (Local Sales) line item's tax code was not defined.  Is this a correct posting?
When I tried for intercompany sales order, the tax code was defined in that GL 40000130 (Intercompany Sales) line item.
So I am confusing here.  is this a system standard behavior that no tax code defined in GL line item for local sales?  or I miss some configuration setting in IMG?

    Hi Arun,
I am using VK11 to determine the tax code.
I attached the screenshot for the accounting document that auto posted by billing for reference.  hope that will help to state my problem clearly.
that screenshot 1 showed the tax code only appeared on the TAX G/L account, I assumed the tax code should be showed at REVENUE G/L account which is 40000120 - Local Sales as well.
I checked the billing's item condition detail for condition type (ZNV2 - Net Value), in Account determination part, I saw information for Account Key = ERL, G/L Account = 40000120, but tax code is missing.  (please refer screenshot 2).
Could that be the reason why the tax code is not assigned to GL 40000120 when generating accounting document?
    thanks.
    regards,
    FLL

  • Wrong Tax Code in Quotation

    Hi All,
SAP uses condition type ( MWVS -input tax) as the basis of a calculation procedure- TAXAT, which enables integration between the  MM and FI module.
    Step 1:
Step      Control     CType     Description   From      To
    100     0     BASB     Base Amount                     0     0
    110     0     MWAS     Output Tax                    100     0          MWS
    120     0     MWVS     Input tax                     100     0          VST
    125     0     YWVS     Foreign Input tax     100     0          YST
    140     0     MWVN     Non-deduct.Input Tax     100     0          NAV
    150     0     MWVZ     Non-deduct.Input Tax     100     0          NVV
    200     0     NLXA     Acquisition Tax Cred     100     0          ESA
    210     0     NLXV     Acquisition Tax Deb.     100     0          ESE
    Step 2:
Condition Record is created for Condition Type -MWVS Input tax based on Country/Tax Code .
Here we have different tax codes maintained for AT country.
    Step 3:
    Create RFQ(ME41) :
Create Quotation( ME47): Tax code is appearing automatically here.
This tax code is wrong and I would like to know from where does the tax code appear in Quotation .
    Thanks In advance
    Regards,
    Payal Saxena

    Hi,
Is the condition MWVS is maintained in  both pricing and tax procedures?
For the tax code how you have maintained the condition record? Is it by transaction FTXP / FV11 or by MEK1?
I think you have maintained the condtion by MEK1 for the tax code instead of FTXP / FV11.
Remember it is a tax condition and should be defined in tax procedure.
This condtion record contains the tax code which is getting defaulted to RFQ.
Delete the condition record for MEK1.

  • Problem in using tax code

    hi Gurus,
m facing very different problem from yesterday. The day b4 all tax codes were working finely bur nw they are showing error in calculation.
    e.g.
    if i m using tax code with 14%BED, 2%ECess, 1%SEcess, 4%VAT.
But when entering in PO conditions, user delete the BED condition and uses manula excise condition value.
    Say v r ordering 100 pcs of 50 each.
So total amt will be 5000
    Manual excise 14%   =  700
    ECess 2%                =    14
    SEcess                    =    07
    VAT                          = 228.84
which is showing correctly in condition tab.
But when v assign tax code with same combination i.e. 14,2,1,4 n whn clik on taxes its showing
    BED deduct             = 70 i.e. 10% of manual excise which v entered.
    Ecess                     = 1.40 i.e. 2 % of above value (70)
SEcess                   = 7 which is correct
VAT                        =  203.14 which is from above addition.
M facing this problem fron yesterday only. I compared pricing procedure also, n didnt find any change made. Also no one has made the changes. V r using TAXINJ. Also when I enter BED = 100% in tax code then some tax codes work finely. But some didnt. What may be the problem?
    Regards

    Hi
My guess is if you are using customised Tx code with the deductible Tax code for the 3 taxes then there is no question of it calculaiting wrong percentage during PO, only thing you need to select the right Condition types.
IF you are maintaing conditions in FV11 for the vendor pleae do check if it is picking some thing else othere than what you have entered i. e 14% then it is certain that the corresponding vendor is picking som other record instead of the current what  you have created. Pleae try to create conditions Plant specific  with vendor/material combination and also check for the validity of the condition also.
    Best regards

  • Tax code determination in billing documents

    Hi,
In the intercompany billing document, system has picked tax condition type(MWAS) value as 19 percentage with condition records.
We have not maintained any condition records for that tax condition type. We have maintained that vale only in tax code settings under one country.
How system is picking that tax vale in to billing documents with reference to condition type.
    Regards
    Lakshmikanth

Tax rates are maintained in tax codes via transaction code FTXP. All tax condition elements are maintained via OBYZ (OBQ1 for tax condition type, OBQ2 for access sequence, and OBQ3 for tax procedure). And each country is asssigned a tax procedure via OBBG. In your case, MWAS must exist in OBQ1 and the corresponding tax procedure, the rate of MWAS must have been entered in the tax code of output tax type.  The SD condition types with condition category D and with the account key for tax (such as MWS) in the SD pricing procedure are used to determine the tax code during document processing.
To find out how this tax code is captured, on the condition tab in the billing document, click on the Analysis and locate the SD condition type(s) for output tax, identify which record is read. Then on VK13, enter this condition type and specify other selections, the condition records for tax code determination appear.

  • Tax code in SES

    Hi,
In Service PO,tax code is enetered and SES made.
When i view the accounting doc of GR,in tax code column, tax code not appears!!!
    What's the reason?
But when we do GR for stock items, tax code appears in that accounting doc.
    Please explain.
    Regards

    Hi,
Did you check if the tax code was manually removed during SES maintenance.  It is of standard functionality of SAP that in case of service POs, the tax codes will be defaulted from the SE instead of PO line item.
