Sound Blaster Tacic 3D Rage Wireless V 2.0

Hi all!
I just bought this headset and i think it won't charge. I know i must wait like 8 hours at 1st charge, but manual says, that when headset is charging, the power LED is blinking. Mine not. When i unpacked it i was able to turn it on. Then i turned it off and started to charge, and then power led is not blinking until now. The computer says it is plugged in, but it looks like any power is going to it. I was trying to uninstall headset from computer but it doesn't work. Can someone help me? :/

I must add that this issue starded when i was trying to install filmware, and then it failed to install.

Sound Blaster Tactic Rage Low Volume Microphone

Hello,
I've recently purchased the Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Rage, and have found that the microphone volume is extremely low despite updating drivers and setting microphone volume to 100. The quality of the microphone is acceptable, it's just the volume is low, whether its in Windows, or Skype.

Why don't you try to get the sound from your TV's 3.5mm headphone out or RCA output instead and use your TV's volume control to increase the volume. But you have to output your sound from your PS4 to your TV via HDMI.

Cant hear any audio from Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless headset

after getting the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless headset i red through the booklet inside and saw that i could download software for it so i went to the address it gave me and downloaded the firmware for windows and after it was finished and i had restarted my computer the headset and USb connector would both flash nonstop. as well as this i cant hear any audio from the headset. help me if you can

Just discharge it and then charge it. Should work then, and never ever try those firmware updates they are the terrorists of these headsets

Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless crackling sound

Tactic3D Rage Wireless crackling sound all the time when playing any sound on the headset.
Work OK on laptop and other PC in the home. Just not my PC lol. Motherboard: Zotac H55-ITX Wifi. CPU Intel i3.

Welcome to the forum!
Sounds like an "interference" issue to me. Definitely not an issue with the headset as it is working perfectly fine on another machine. The transmitter operates in the 2.4Ghz frequency spectrum so you might want to check out what other devices runs on the same spectrum near to your computer (just a thought).

Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless Firmware update fail

Hey guys,
As the title says, I have a bit of a problem. I just bought the Tactic3d Rage Wireless headset, and decided to update the firmware as I like to have the latest drivers when I get started on new hardware. So I update the transmitter while the headset was turned off. No problem.
Then when it came to the headset I removed the transmitter and plugged the headset directly to the computer and started the appropriate application. At the end of the upgrade it said it failed to load the system after the new drivers was installed or something similar, and now it's just there flashing blue all the time. It doesn't respond to anything, and if I try upgrading the firmware again it says it can't find the headset.
So I'm wondering A) Did I do something wrog here? and B) How do I fix it? Is there a way to restore the factory settings of the headset somehow?

Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Wireless

I have my Tactic 3D Wireless for a couple of months and i really enjoy it, but now i have a problem
As soon as i want to charge it trough my Laptop (usb) it doesnt work anymore. I plug in the cable into the headphone and the power button stops blinking, but after +/- 3 sec it start blinking again and hear the 'empty battery' tone again. So i assume it isn't charging. Everything is plugged in corectly when this happens and i tried multiple usb ports in my laptop.
Somebody know whats going on?

Sound Blaster Rage VoiceFX Test button not working

I purchased my creative sound blaster Tactic3D Rage headphones today and so far I am really happy with them. The only thing that bugs me is that the test button for VoiceFX in the control panel doesn't seem to work. I press it and talk through the mic, but nothing happens. I know the VoiceFX works because I tested it out through Skype test call. Only the test button in the control panel doesn't seem to work

I can now confirm what the problem is. After reformatting my whole operating system I was indeed able to get the software to work properly again, however after a windows update the software will not work properly again. Confirmed same thing about the windows update on my other pc as well and the only way to get it to start working again to to do a system restore point before the last update.
I am sorry but this is unexceptionable! So I have to stay on an old version of windows in order to use this product...
I want a full refund please.

Sound Blaster Tactic3D Wrath Wireless

Seem to be having an issue with my headset, the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Wrath Wireless. I've had it wired up to charge now for that past 12 hours or so but decided to watch a movie whilst the headset was charging (Watching the movie with the Headset on giving me sound). Now the Headset has cut out and every time i press the power button, it comes back on for a few seconds then cuts out again.
Anyone got any ideas on what the problem is?

Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Express Card and Wireless Recei

I?purchased a Creative Wireless Recei'ver and a Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Express Card. At the risk of removing any doubt that I am an idiot, what is the purpose of the square piece of stretchy black material? It was nicely packaged, but I don't know what I'm to do with it. It's about 4 inches square and stretchy, like spandex. I sent an email to Customer Service. They have no clue and advised me to call Direct Sales. They don't know what the purpose of the cloth is either. Any ideas?

Ok guys this is how I fixed the problem on my X-Fi PCI-Express. Open the Creative SB X-Fi Volume panel. Mine is set in game mode and I have 5 vertical sliders for Line-In /Mic, MIDI Synth, Digital-In, and the last one will say one of three things either Digital-In, Microphone, or Mirophone FP. At the top of the?slider there is a tab which brings up a drop down menu. Mine was default set to Digital-In, I switched it to Mirophone FP (tried Microphone first and it worked but the FP sounds better for me) and cranked it all the way up and my problem was solved. Very frustrating one though as there is no documentation that led me to the fix it was just playing around with it till I could figure it out.
I hope this at least helps some of you out.

Tactic 3d Rage Wireless Possible USB Transmitter Problem

It is my 3rd rage wireless replacement (mini usb charging entrance were broken on the previous two).
So after unboxing it again, unfortunately I went to firmware page and upgraded the firmwares both usb transmitter and headphones. Nothing went wrong until I try to re pair the headphones with the usb transmitter.
Headphones are working with every buttons on it, it also gets into pairing mode (with fast blinking red lights). However the usb transmitter does nothing when I hold the connect button, it blinks normal instead of rapidly (as stated in the manual).
I tried everything and read many threads but could not find similar problem. I do not think that it is bricked but please help me if it is possible to fix this problem.
Yes it is ridiculous that a simple firmware upgrade is destroying such an expensive product. Shame on you creative!

Do you encounter any error(s) during the firmware update of the headset and the USB transmitter?
Do not connect it to the USB hub. At any one time, the headset and USB transmitter cannot connect together during firmware update; only separate update is allowed.
Here's the instructions given for updating USB transmitter via Windows:
- Download the file onto your local hard disk.
- Ensure that your Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless Transmitter is connected to your computer.
- Ensure that the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless Headset is removed from your computer.
- Un-compress the downloaded file to a folder in your local hard disk.
- Double-click <SBTR_PCFW_US_TX_1_59_140721.exe> from the folder which stores the uncompressed files.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- After the installation of the firmware is completed, unplug and plug in your transmitter and start pairing with the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless headset again.

SB04100 Sound Blaster Card not working after computer rebuild

=SB0400 Sound Blaster Card not working after computer rebuildZ I did a full disk format and reinstall for a friend on a Dimension 3000, running XP SP3. There is no sound at all. Speakers are good, tested on another system. Model number on the back of the sound card is SB0400, so I assume this is an older 24 bit PCI SoundBlaster card. Although I reinstalled all drivers from Dell, I found no drivers for this. The Creative site has no listing for this model.
Computer does not seem to recognize the card. Have not opened the box yet but I assume if I were to remove and then reinstall the card it would be recognized (?) I then have to find an SB0400 driver.
Does anyone know where I can find an SB0400 driver ? Does the strategy of pulling and reinstalling the card make sense ? (I have really avoided tampering with any of the hardware on this box -- since it is not mine.)

I removed the board and then reinserted it, after which I was able to download the drivers directly. Some of my difficulty with this whole process has been ) I didn't know there was no working speaker in the computer and 2) I apparently misunderstood the BIOS settings for this. I re-set it up as an add-on board during the troubleshooting process. After loading the driver, I went back to the original setting (don't recall what it was but it was for integrated sound). The setting for integrated sound works fine, with external speakers and the new 24 bit driver. Still some noise (popping and static) but this board shares the bus with 2 other cards one of which is a wireless network card. May be a PCI latency issue but I'm reluctant to change that because the network card is a bit shaky anyway.
Everything works for now -- I'll be glad to get this particular computer out of my house !

Soundblaster tactic3D rage wireless problems

Hello so today i got this new headset Soundblaster tactic3D rage wireless, and after charging for 8 hours i plugged the power cable out, and inserted the usb adapter.
Everything worked fine, the sound was good. i then decided to go and download the drivers etc.
Then i tryed to install the firmware update, and i got an error where it said that it failed.
After that, my headset was completely dead, its constantly glowing red, i cant pair it with the usb adaptar, and i have tryed everything. Cant turn the headset off at all.
I have lookd around these forums but didnt really find any good answers on how i could fix this.

apparently you need to get it replaced, as the failed firmware bricked it. Only answer I found out so far. That or maybe getting a kind soul with the previous firmware to give it to you might get it working again.
