Sound Off

Hi friends,
I want to turn off my sound of a Intro SWF while pressing Enter button on the intro. Every thing is going on finely but the intro sound is also playing along with the sound of main website.
Can any buddy help! How to do that.
The code to load the main file from Intro is:
TEnter_mc.onRelease = function() {
loadMovie("Main.swf",1);

There is a stopAllSounds function in Flash. I assume that is the way you went.
However, you will get better results by posting such questions in the appropriate programming section of the Flash area. There are many more people there that will be able to help with this type of question.
BTW, you should use anybody, rather than any buddy, which has a somewhat different meaning in English.

My Ipad continues to sound off a loud trumpet fanfare periodically without reason. Is this a significant malware? If so, can I find it and delete it?

Explore the settings, sounds and see if you have that trumped fanfare set for anything. Maybe it's a new mail?

Turn Flash Sound OFF in Javascript or HTML

My client would like the Flash banner I'm using to play audio
only on the home page. Can I shut the sound off in javascrpt or
html (in the object tag properties)? Client does not want a sound
toggle button - simply no sound.
I know I can create a second version of the Flash without
sound - but then users would have to load that file in addition to
the first Flash. I've searched without any luck. Any help would be
much appreciated.

Oh OK, if you want a global volume control, you give it an
argument of
'_root' and you can store a reference to it in _global so
that you can
access it from anywhere. so, on frame 1 of your flash, do
this:
_global.sound_control = new Sound(_root);
then to mute to volume from wherever you like you call:
_global.sound_control.setVolume(0);
so for example if you had a button called 'mute_btn':
this.mute_btn.onRelease = function()
_global.sound_control.setVolume(0);

Turning sound off on camera shutter?

completely new to Droid here. I have looked every where for something that will turn the shutter sound off of the camera when taking pictures. Anyone have a clue?

I haven't tried it personally, but there is one called Silent Camera. Beware, the reviews are mixed at best. Another one that I found is SilentCam, but this one also has mixed reviews, so no promises on either.

I just bought a BB Q10 and a major disappointment so far is that the ringtones do not sound off for any type of message that I enable a ringtone for?
I have gone over the steps over and over and I cannot seem to get them to work!

IMac freezes + Alarm sounds off ??

I have an imac 21" approx 6 months old. Occasionaly freezes and a beeping sound like an alarm sounds off and does not stop. Only way to resolve is to turn off my imac and back on again. Anyone has any idea, by the way I'm new to macs.

My iMac has just started doing this after I installed two 2GB RAM. I guess it isn't compatible. ?? How do I know if it is compatible ..where do I look etc? I am fairly computer illiterate.

How do I turn the sound off in iChat (like the swishing noises)

Is there anyway to just disable sound on iChat...its really simple on AIM but I like iChat better...i just dont like any noises from it..like when I'm playing music i dont want the swishing noise...is there anyway to turn all sound off..

iChat > Preferences > Alerts.
You can change / de-select the sounds for all the actions there.

Unfortunately, more often than not, I forget to lower my sound level after listening to iTunes and I shut down. The next AM at startup the apple tone BLASTS me and probably every neighbor within a 6 block area with a wake up call from Satan's middle earth.
Is there a script or something that I can use as a shutdown item that will turn the sound off and save all the eardrums in the neighborhood every morning?

Thanks Guys! StartupSound was exactly what I wanted. Perfect. It works just great. There is something reassuring about a Mac's startup sound that I couldn't just mute it, so to be able to keep it at a soothing level no matter what the volume is is perfect. Thanks again. P.S. All Sounds Off

I have a Samsung flip phone - Model SCH-u410. I accidentally hit the "all sounds off" button but I don't know how to cancel this and return to the normal ring tone. Help!!

Go to your Menu >> Settings and Tools >> Sounds >> Call Sounds >> Call Ringtone to reset the ringtone. Explore the other Sound menu options to set other sounds.

Clicking on laptop with speakers and sound off for no reason

When using laptop with the sound off or on, there is a clicking coming from somehwere?! Really annoying and cant find how to turn it off
