Source sysytem activation error
Hi All,
Production system source system is inactive. when i am trying to actvate, It is giveing below error.
Message NO
" Entry in inbound table not found". 414
" Entry in outbound table not found " 400
"Entry in outbound table not found" 400
how we will activate the source system.

On BW Type Transaction WE20.
Partner Profiles
Click on 'Partner Profile' and then 'Partner Type LS' .
Click on your Source system profile to verify settings.
If Source System does not exist; Click on 'Partner Type LS' then Create.
In your Outbound, Parameter should be 'RSRQST' .
Double click it.
Outbound Options Tab Receiver Port : select RFC from above
IDoc Type : RSRQST. Syntax Check : 'X' Post Processing Tab Type : 'US' User : Remote User (RFC_R3) Language : EN
In your Inbound Parameters should be 'RSINFO'.
Double click.
Inbound Options Tab Process Code : 'RSIN'. Syntax Check : 'X' Process By Function Module: 'Trigger Immediately > Post Processing Tab Type : 'US' User : Remote User (RFC_R3) Language : EN
In your Inbound Parameters should be 'RSSEND'. Double click.

Check all is correct
To check that everything is now set up correctly, start back at the Partner Profiles main screen. a.) Find your source system b.) Double click on RSRQST from Outbound Parameters. c.) Double click on receiver port. Should bring you into PortSettings / RFC. d.) Double click on Port (Right side of split screen). This should bring you into the RFC Destination. e.) Execute your 'Test Connection' & 'Remote Logon'. You should NOT be prompted for a password. If you are then your logon info is incorrect. If not then all is well and this concludes your set up in Business Warehouse.

Source System Activation Error
Hi,
We Upgraded BW3.1 to BI7.0, we did successfully on Development. but when in QA when I was trying to activate RFC by going to RSA1 and right click and activate it is showing errors like
Source system XXX300 is inactive RSAR 5
BI unknown in source system RSAR 8
BI IDoc type ZSBB025 is not the same as source system IDoc type RSAR 371
The following errors occurred in the source system: RSAR 374
EDI: Partner profile not available E0 332
Entry in inbound table not found E0 414
Entry in outbound table not found E0 400
Entry in outbound table not found E0 400
Am I missing anything ?

As a part of sanity check did you perform rituals as below -
Below deletes the BW-specific information in the source system that does not have a connection to the BW System.
1. Log on to the source system in question
2. Call Transaction SE37
3. Enter function module name 'RSAP_BIW_DISCONNECT'
4. Select the 'Sngl. test' function.
5. Enter the name of the BIW system for the import parameter 'I_BIW_LOGSYS' that matches the one prior to the new installation
6. Enter the name of the source system for the import parameter 'I_OLTP_LOGSYS'
7. Choose the function 'Execute'
and then
Transaction SE37 - function module RSAP_BIW_CONNECT - Single Test. Parameter:

Transformation giving this error "Source not active"
I'm trying to create transformation and I am getting this error message "Source not active". I went in to source system (in my case it is flat file). I activated the source system again but I get the error still.

As others have suggested, activate the DATA SOURCE and also try to view data in your flat file . you can find this option in the last tab in the data source. if your souce is active , it will allow you to see the data, this way also you can confirm is its active or not.
You mentioend that you have activated the source system, not a data source...
Try again activating the data source, it should solve your problem.

0IC_C03: 2LIS_03_BF Transformation Start Routine Activation error
Hi all,
Iam getting activation error (Start Routine) while activating the transformation for the 2LIS_03_BF (Material Movements) data source for 0IC_C03 INFO CUBE. Iam getting an error for the Start Routine and the error message is as follows:
+ E:In PERFORM or CALL FUNCTION "ROUTINE_9998", the actual parameter "SOURCE_PACKAGE" is incompatible with the formal parameter "DATA_PACKAGE".+
Scenario: As per my client requirment i have tried to add on info object in to the existing info cube i.e., Movement Type which is an existing field in the info source and the data source and i have tried to map the same in the transformations between the info source and the info cube and activated the transformation. Then iam getting the above said start routine error, so to avoid this i have removed that object i.e., movement type from the info cube and tried to reactivate the transformations still iam getting the same routine error.
Please suggest me th approach to resolve this issue.

Dear All,
I am Basis person and recently we have refreshed data of Test BI system from Development BI system. we normally carry out these Refresh but In this case we have also changed Hostname and SID for Test BI system.
We have done all BW refresh steps as per guide and during Restore of source system we
are getting errors during datasource activation as " error while creating table EDISEGMENT ".
we have checked RFC and Partner profiles and working fine.
We have 2 clients connected from source system to our Test BI box.strange thing is we got one source system activated without any errors and for second
source system we are getting above mentioned error.
We have reviewed notes 339957 , 493422 but our BI fuctional team is not sure whether
those apply to our OLTP system , as one source system from same OLTP system got
successfully activated and source system for other client giving this issue .
Please help us out with this problem.
we are running on BI 7.0 platform and ECC 6.0 for source.

Rrcheck the relevant profiles in We20 t code and also in sm59 if the remote connection with autorisation is sucssessfull, connection is ok otherwise you need to check th paramters.

First, I deleted one sap source systems for BW1 ( My bw1 server BI is : BW1CLNT100 ), later ,I create the same sap source system, But active 0FIAP_O03 ods,

Error when creating the export DataSource and dependent Objects
Error when activating DataStore Object 0FIAP_O03
I go to BW1CLNT100 datasoucres ,I not finded 80FIAP_O03 datasoucre, But I goto bw prd BI datasoucre, I found 80FIAP_O03 datasoucre.
I think loss 80FIAP_O03 datasoucre for BW1CLNT100 source system, because I am't delete Roules on the 0FIAP_O03 infosoucre for delete sap soucre systems.

After I configured subscriptions with many monitors, error alerts appear at SCOM(scom 2012 r2) console in active alert page.
I googled it and found some topics at TechNet but I could not figure it out. Alert description is shown below

Check the source system RFC connection in SM59, if this is ok then check the tcode WE20 for EDI partner profiles and inbound and out bound Idocs defined.
In BW Out boud IDOC type should be same in ECC in bound Idoc type, and in ECC out Bound IDOC type should be same in BW in bound IDOC type then the source system activation is possible in RSA1. -
HTTP Communication and View activation error

We are using CRM WebUI. We have Product Master screens. In developement environment everything works fine. whee we migrated it to consolidation env i am getting following error.
Not able to understand this error. I get the HTTP Communication error ot the product search page and the Target view activation error when in product creation screen.

Not seen this one before. This domain is part of a table append for EWM called "Item Process for Integration of EWM and Manufacturing" - was a business extension activated on the source system? What was the source? EHP3?

Those are all normal upgrade hints.
If you have such real errors as the first ones you posted it's a good advise to just fire up a browser, open http://service.sap.com/notes and search for the object name... in 90 % of the cases you will find a note.
Often it also help to just repeat the phase and check the log again. some of the problems are sometimes just sequence problems that are gone after the second try.

Are running on 7.0 ver or 3.5 of bi, in case ur on 3.5 chk weather your data source is replicated as 3.5 or 7.0, in case you are working on 7.0 , then replicating the data source itself activated the "Transformation rules" (if created already), Scaheduling the DTP will do the job of staging.

i'm assuming you installed a beta version but you're not a developer. you've been a bad kid! but you'll get away with it this time, here's how:
just google "ios7 activation error" and get help online. you'll need to download the new version 7.0.2. from a non-apple source and update your iphone or ipad. you won't lose any data. -

My iPod Touch says it needs to be activated. I go to activate it using wifi and it comes up with Activation Error: this device is not registered as part of the iPod Developer Program. I'm not a memeber of that. I'm not even an developer, I'm 14. My iPod has worked normally for months now. Then I go to connect it to iTunes to reset it (I have checked and iI have the latest version) The computer recognises the iPod is connected Tand it charges but nothing appears up on iunes. It worked fine yesterday
