Thanks,

Dear Domenick,
This issue you are facing is most probably because of a force reset of SPAM queue in IMPORT_PROPER phase.
You might have reset the queue forcibly which has created inconsistency in the system and has destoyed SPAM transaction
related program sources.
Now in order to resolve this you can try out a small fix.
You can pick up the class/interface CL_OCS_RT_ANALYSIS============CP from a system which has already been patched with SAPKD70142. You can transport this class to the affected system.
Once done, try to do the SPAM import. If the SPAM import is successfull it is fine.
If it not successfull, there is no other way apart from restoring the sytem since the SPAM sources are corrupt.
Best Regards,
Abhishek

  • SPAM update running for a long time in MAIN_IMPORT - NW 7.0 SR3

    Hi,
I have installed NW 7.0 SR3 -> AS ABAP. I am trying to update SPAM. My current version is 7.00/0026. I tried updating it to patch level 33 and 36 but during both the updates SPAM is taking an awful amount of time in the MAIN_IMPORT phase. Update to patch level 33 has been running for almost a week now after i used 'R3trans -i' from the command line as a last-ditch effort. a 'trans.log' file is being continuously updated. Any ideas on why just SPAM update is running for so long?
    Thanks,

    hi,
    I am applying EP6SP2 CM&COLL patch 5 DBPATCH.
    current portal version: version=6.0.2.29.0
    current C&COLL version: CM_COLL version=60 SP2 Patch 5
Before applying this patch, i applied CM&COLL patch 4 hotfix 8 and the DBPATCH included in tht. Now, after applying CM&COLL patch 5, i tried to apply DBPATCH which comes with CMOLL patch5 SAR file. My database is oracle database. While applying this patch i encountred following error:
    <i>

Now according to SAP Note 761224, they asked us to use updated DBPATCH attached to this note. But currently there are only 3 files attached of MSSQL. I want the updated ORACLE_DBPATCH files.

  • Updating the Service Patch level

    Dear Friends,
We are updating the service patch level of EP 7.0.  It wil be EHP1 (sp05).
So do we need to bring other intigrated system to this level, system like BI,SAP HR,SAP DMS etc ?
    Regards,

    Hi
    In general yes,
for example, if you using ESS / MSS scenarios, thes levels on the portal must be leveled with HR support packages on R/3.

    HI,
can anyone guide to configure the Higher education cess for SD & MM for patch level SAPKH50017, & what are the note number to implement.
    this is very urgent
    regards,
    naveen

    Hi Naveen,
As advised by Ashish, you need to search the OSS notes for India Budget changes 07 released by SAP. There are many notes wrt to SD and MM which would enable you to configure Higher Ed Cess. You may also be required to make relevant changes in your excise invoice documents in terms of layouts or print programs to accomodate the new field for Higher Ed Cess.
    Hope this helps!

  • Worst case scenario for spam update error

    hi friends
i need to know what is the worst case scenario if our support package stack update(SPAM) process fails. I am asking this question because we dont have a DR system.I mean we dont have test server to check our restore & recovery. We have ECC 5.0 and our SPAM updates are long overdue. I need to convince the management to prioritize this activity and my boss thinks that since we dont have test server if anything goes wrong then we might have to restore the db which he is not in favor of.
i would really help if you could provide me some suggestions.
    thanks in advance.
    regards

    Hello Nathan,
Very first you need to convince your management that since you didn't had the Support package update in your system actually you are not having the latest corrections available in the system. As per Best practise you should keep the systems to the latest available support package levels.
Now, to your question.Support package update is a easy but critical activity. Easy because it is bit effortless and critical because major changes are involved with the corrections. UPdate for BASIS support package can bring your system to HIghly unstable state (I am just talking about Worst case scenarios) as they update the system basis tables. Application component packages if aborted due to some errors can have problems in the business cycles.
So anyways you'll have to keep proper backup of your system available just to make sure if, by chance you are not able to complete the SP update under the given downtime window you should have the possibility to restore and release the systems to the business users.
This will not be the new thing you'll be doing as majority of the customers don't have DR server to the rescue.
You can discuss with your team and decide a suitable backup strategy.
    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards
    NIraj

    please information resolution master..

    Hi
    You should re-construct missing object in the application layer, since it is missing & it can be done by any one of the option as below;
    1) By re-transport - Check with your ABAP team for the transport, looks like they created this Z index (ZIR)  for table IMRG & you can re-import the required transport request.
    2)  This should be performed by DDIC user,  You can re-construct it from SE14 as below; -
SE14 -> objects  IMRG --> Edit  --> this will display the screen as per Siva's update.
From here, go to Menu opton "Table", then Select "Reconstrct"  this should create the missing object at application layer or say runtime objects.

  • SPAM Update needed for Upgrade Assistent

For updating a SAP System (IDES 4.7) I assume I need the Upgrade Assistant!? I installed the UA-Server and connected with a browser to the local Service (http://x.x.x.x:4239/ua/UaGUI.html). After a few steps in the phase "PREPARE", the assistand is running into the following error: "The SPAM Version 15 of your system is too low!!!". I downloaded the newest SPAM-Package and unpacked it. The resulting files are "CSR0120031469_0026199.ATT" and "CSR0120031469_0026199.PAT". I copied them to \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in but the error still appears...
Any hint how to get 'em working? Am I totally wrong with this solution?

    Hi Thomas
I think for upgrading an IDES system you need to install it again. Anyway , this note 164244 says you can ask SAP for an upgrade if necessary.

    |
    |
The current ABAP program "SAPLRZTR" had to be terminated because
    it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be
    executed.
    |What can you
    do?
    |
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax
    check
(or an extended program check) on the
    program "SAPLRZD1 ".
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP
    Editor.
    |
    |
If the problem persists, proceed as
    follows:
Note down which actions and inputs caused the
    error.
    |
    |
    |
    |
To process the problem further, contact you SAP

    |
    |
    |
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can
    look

    also
    | keep them for a long
    time.
