Specify keystore for https webservice client without system properties?

I'm writing an application that communicates with multiple https webservice using multiple keys. I'd like to define keys in configuration file and specify key path. alias and password, etc programmaticly.
Is there a way to specify key information without system properties? Thanks.

After further search, I believe https://jax-ws.dev.java.net/guide/HTTPS_SSLSocketFactory.html answered my question.

  • Load balance for HTTP Connection to ABAP System (Type H) RFC connection

    Experts,
    For proxy we are using HTTP Connection to ABAP System (Connection type H) RFC connection in PI to get connected to ECC. I only see the option to use Target host in the Target system settings than Load balance option. In general ABAP Connection (Connection type 3) has Load balancing status option in Target system settings.
    My requirement is I should use a logon group with the message server when PI connects to ECC. How can we achieve this? At the moment I can only use the Central Instance or any dialog server (App server) in RFC but not a logon group.
    Thanks in advance.

  • LabVIEW HTTP browser (client) without dedicated PC (as a server)

    The web server is already setup successfully on the ATMEGA32 microcontroller.
    I only need a functional GUI to any client on the internet to receive the data through the browser.
    The objective of this problem is to prevent any pc dedicated to this system. (for the purpose of webserver or GUI)
    Nature of data: Current density and temperature measurement data from the fuel cell.
    I would like to know your best solutions for this case!
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi ajaba,
    With regards to your first reply - you are right. The HTTP client VIs allow you to connect to a web-server programmatically and retrieve data just like if you were visiting the site from your browser.
    You can try this really simply by using the open handle, GET data and close handle VIs on any URL and look at the body response out. The body will be the html contents of the web-page but if you have your ATMEGA32 configured to output HTTP data then that's what you'll receive.
    I was playing around with this recently to receive the number of unread emails (Gmail) I have - here's a screenshot:
    The first 3 VIs are the ones you want to use - the rest of the VIs just read the XML data.
    As for your second reply - I don't understand as your initial question was that you had an ATMEGA32 that was acting as the server? From your second reply it sounds like you want to have a datasocket server - that's basically acting as a dedicated server?

  • Generating webservices client without warning messages.

    Hi,
    I am using RAD7.0 and WAS6.1 [Java 5]. While generating web services from .wsdl file auto generated files contains statements without type safety parameters [Java 5 Generics].
    For ex following fragment is from the auto generated file:
    java.util.Map inner0 = new java.util.HashMap();
    inner0.put("create",list0);
    While compiling the files following warning is displayed
    Type Safety: the method put(Object,Object) belongs to the raw type Map. References to generic Map<K,V> should be parameterized.
    Any way it doesn't hinder the development. But I would like to know how to generate the web services client as per standards of Java 5.

    Apparently, a hosed CS5 installation. Its manager is crashing causing a windowserver crash. Uninstall it, using the uninstaller that came with it (that's a WAG), download and install the 10.6.4 COMBO update, repair permissions, and restart. If everything else works without crashing, then reinstall CS5. BTW, update your My Settings file, since your current one's showing 10.5.2, which has nothing to do with SL.

  • As a webservice client, how to set character encoding for JAX-WS?

    I couldn't find the right API to set character encoding for a webservice client. What I did is
    1, wsimport which gives me MyService, MyPortType...
    2. Create new MyService
    3. Get MyPort from MyService
    4. Call myPort.myOperation with objects
    Where is the right place to set character encoding and how to set it? Thanks.
    Regards
    -Jiaqi Guo

    The .js file and the html need to have the same encoding. If
    your html uses iso-8859-7, then the .js must also use that. But if
    the original text editor created the .js file using utf-8, then
    that is what the html needs to use.

  • How to enable for Internet-Based Client Management existing "intranet" clients

    Hello,
    Step #1
    I have an existing "intranet-only" SCCM 2012 SP1 CU1 environment. It is made of HTTP Intranet-Only MP.
    All clients are properly communicated with one of the intranet MP
    All clients are leveraging auto-enrollment of our AD PKI and have a working client certificate recognized by SCCM client
    Step #2
    I expanded the above infrastructure to support IBCM clients. Basically I want the existing intranet clients still be managed when they are outside our network
    I added MP, DP, SUP, FSP on dedicated DMZ servers. It has been published on Internet, and properly declared with public DNS
    The DMZ MP has been configured for HTTPS / Internet client only
    When I tested first this setup in my lab, it was working fine, and my "intranet" client moving to Internet was properly detecting this configuration, and was starting to contact the "DMZ/Internet MP" without any problem
    I did the same on my production environment but this time, my client moving to "internet" detectes it is connected on Internet but does not have any clue about the DMZ/Internet MP to contact. According to logfile, it is trying to check on DNS,
    WINS, etc. but obviously it is already too late when in Internet, this information is no longer available.
    I guess I did something in my lab environment to make it work but I don't what. Any idea how to tell to existing clients they should use a new "Internet-Only" MP when they are on Internet ?
    Regards.

    Basically I found my problem...
    In my lab, I manually configured the SCCM client option Internet-based management point (FQDN) to use the public DNS address of my Internet/DMZ MP.
    If I do the same for my production sample client, it works fine now.
    Question: how can I enforce this change on all my existing clients ?

  • How to show argument variable names to webservice client

    Hi java expert(S)!
    This is sri, i am creating a webservice using sun java studio enterprise 8.1 IDE, my problem is consumer(from .net) say ,parameter names are not clear or visible. say, for example, my webservice method look like
    public java.lang.String login(final String clientid, final String password) throws java.rmi.RemoteException {...}
    to me but for webservice client String login(String_1, String_2). so how to show argument variables to client
    webservice client needs to know argument names for proper usage.
    Any body knows how to do this, Any help will be appreciated!!!!!
    Thanks & Regards,
    SRI.

    hI
    i have posted my wsdl below
    If you go through , you can find that in order to call a method , we have to supply string or int arguments but those names are not shown
    for example to call login , you need to supply 2 string arguments but how do you know first one is username and second one is for password.
    it shows simply string_1 and string_2 as arguments, instead if it shows login(String username,String password) for caller(webservice client), it will be easy to handle you know.
    How to do this????

  • Via APIs. how can I get weblogic specific system properties

    I am looking to find out the API for enumerating over weblogic's system

  • Http proxy setting for webservice client.

    Hi !
    I have set the following option for accessing the webservice through the proxy(webservice
    outside the firewall).
    I'm using weblogic v7.0 with sp1.
    -Dweblogic.webservice.transport.http.proxy.host=xxxx
    -Dweblogic.webservice.transport.http.proxy.port=8088
    It works fine and my soap client is able to access the webservice lying outside
    the firewall.
    But when I use the same setting, the soap client fails for accessing the webservice
    which are
    inside the firewall.
    I get "Connection refused".
    Is there any option to specify not to use proxy for specific hosts and ports ?
    For example http.nonProxyHost
    Any pointers will be of great help.
    Thanks
    Kumar Raj

    I have not worked in SoA server, but since it uses weblogic server underlying (I assume), you can try setting the -Dhttp.proxyHost , -Dhttp.proxyPort system properties ( https for secured URL's) to WLS to specify the proxy details. Also the product might not have the capability to pass user credentials for authentication at the proxy. The version of OSB we are using had this problem. To overcome this you might require to add the URL to the proxy free list in your proxy server. This prevents the proxy from prompting for the user name when you access that URL.

  • Webservice Client for PI 7.1?

    Hi,
    I've created successfully a stand-alone WS Client with Netweaver DevStudio for our PI 7.0 system. I use the client to trigger a scenario running over the SOAP adapter. I programmed the client according to the directions in help.sap.com and everything ran fine.

    Actually this is the default behavior of SOAP adapter to ask for the PIAPPLUSER. So if u will disable the authentication (through visual admin) then it will be applicable to all soap sender channels.
    You can try the following in a test/dev-system: Extract the SOAP-adapters WAR-file from the corresponding sda. Then extract the deployment-descriptor from the war-file and delete there the related security-constraint, login-config and security-role sections (makes absolutely sense to save the original descriptor beforehand). ZIP the files again with the new deployment descriptor and deploy the SDA via SDM.

  • WebService Client - how to enable HTTP Compression

    Hi
    I have written a simple WebService Client. The WebService expects that the WebService clients enable HTTP compression. This is the exact text from the docs:-
    ""1. Client should be HTTP Compression enabled
    HTTP Compression had been made mandatory for APIs. Thus APIs client should
    include Accept-Encoding: zip header as part of request and should be able to
    handle compressed data. Please note that system will send an error message if client
    are not http compression enabled saying client should be compression enabled."
    I do not know how to enable HTTP compression in the WebService Client. The method called is "GetInstantaneousFlowData". It accepts no arguments and returns xsd:datetime.

    Rishika,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Could I get clariffication on some more thing?
    I am using Axis 1.4 version. And I am able to implement the gzip while doing the following steps.
    1) Change the pivote value to CommonsHTTpSender.
    <transport name="http" pivot="java:org.apache.axis.transport.http.CommonsHTTPSender"/>
    2) public class RetreiveReservationsSOAPBindingStubLocal extends RetreiveReservationsSOAPBindingStub.
    I Override the method to support GZIP.
    org.apache.axis.client.Call _call = super.createCall();
    call.setOperation(operations[0]);
    _call.setUseSOAPAction(true);
    _call.setSOAPActionURI("retreiveReservations");
    _call.setEncodingStyle(null);
    call.setProperty(org.apache.axis.client.Call.SENDTYPE_ATTR, Boolean.FALSE);
    call.setProperty(org.apache.axis.AxisEngine.PROPDOMULTIREFS, Boolean.FALSE);
    call.setProperty(HTTPConstants.MCACCEPT_GZIP, Boolean.TRUE);
    call.setProperty(HTTPConstants.MCGZIP_REQUEST, Boolean.TRUE);
    call.setSOAPVersion(org.apache.axis.soap.SOAPConstants.SOAP11CONSTANTS);
    _call.setOperationName(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "retreiveReservations"));
    super.setRequestHeaders(_call);
    super.setAttachments(_call);
    Object resp = call.invoke(new Object[] {retreiveReservationsRequest});
    I am able to send and receive the request and response in gzip encoded format.
    Now my clarrification is,
    Is it possible to set the piote value to CommonsHTTPSender for the transport http through my code?
    How could I set the values from code?
    Reason is, I don't want to manually edit the axis 1.4's client-config.wsdd
    Since this is very critical thing, please please help me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Nishad Ponery
