Right click on waveform graph on front panel. Point to Y Scale, sub menu pops up. Uncheck Autoscale by clicking on it. Double click on the upper scale value on waveform graph and change it to any number. Do the same for the lower scale value. By right clicking and going to Properties, you can change other stuff, like scale divisions, plot shapes, etc.

Hi SAP Guru,
Greetings for the day,
I had hired a guy with the infotype of 0207,0208,0209,0210 after hiring i try to transfer him using TRANSFER ACTION to another location say from New York to California, which is entirely a different state, where unable to create the 0208,0209,0210 in that i can able to create 0207 infotype alone, when i tried to create after 0207 creation, it is not accepting the information, Here i am looking for some one help, where some one can throw a torch for this issue.
I had checked with dynamic action, which shows correctly.
Pls help me in this regards, this is very urgent.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Regards,
Babu.Generally, an Infotype 208 is not required. Therefore, you would
not get an error in RPCACLU0 if an employee does not have one assigned
Without an IT0208 record, the system uses the tax authority
specified on IT0207. Additionally, the same applies to IT0209; one is
not required and the system will use that of either IT0207 or IT0208.

import went fine, but when I ran the IR page I got
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00904: : invalid identifier
evidently the problem is a lack of public execute on DBMS_LOB, which is used in the generated IR source.
while waiting for the DBA to grant privs on DBMS_LOB, changing the dbms_lob.getlength call to length() fixes the IR.
however, i am not getting the download link on the associated form page... changed templates, that's not the issue -- we'll see if that's a dbms_lob issue as well -

Looks like there is a 127-column limit on the number of report columns supported when using that wizard. Do you have more than that?

I love my apple email and do not want to use google mail on safari. However, I have 2 gmail accounts set up on apple mail, but when I send mail from one of my gmail accounts (I choose the specific gmail account in the drop down window), it actually goes out as if it is from the other gmail account. I can't have that happen because one is my job, the other is a personal business account and unfortunately, the mail from both gmail accounts want to send through the personal business account. How do I make it send from a specific gmail account? I even tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again hoping I set it up wrong in the first place, but to no avail, it is still doing the same thing except this time I set the job account up first and then the personal business account and now everything goes from the job account! The only good thing is that the incoming messages work properly and they go into the correct inbox. Somebody please fix my outbox!
In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

How can we specify the order of the predicates execution?
I am going to write the following query
select answer, answer_id from surveys s join answers a on s.survey_id = a.survey_seq_id
where question_uid = 206400374 and insertdate = to_date('31/12/2012') and answer > 0;However, when I look at the execution plan, I see that the last predicate (to_number(answer) > 0) has been executed the first. Henceforth, it checks many rows first. Normally, 75 rows belong to 31/12/2012 as you see from the following. Can I specify the execution order?
select count(*) from surveys s join answers a on s.survey_id = a.survey_seq_id
where question_uid = 206400374 and insertdate = to_date('31/12/2012');
COUNT(*)
75If so, how? Because, the type of answer is varchar2 and some of answers contain text characters such as 'Yes' or 'No'. Therefore, before 31/12/2012 some answers contain 'Yes' or 'No'. However in 31/12/2012 all answers are numeric.
Plan hash value: 3217836037

Can I specify the execution order?According to the execution plan, it will do a full scan of surveys using the predicate on insertdate to build the (presumably in-memory) hash table (hash based on survey_id) to do the joins (Step 2). Then, it does a full scan of the answers table using the question_uid and answer predicates (Step 3). For each row it finds that matches those predicate, it will prpobe the hash table created in step 2 using the hashed value of survey_seq_id. So, it is doing the insertdate predicate first.

No, it is an implicit type conversion. Your code says answer > 0, since the answer column is a varchar2 column, Oracle implicitly converts the answer column to a number to compare against the number on the right side of the comparison. Note that if something like 'A' ever becomes a valid answer, then this query will fail with ORA-01722: invalid number.
>

Obviously "A"."ANSWER" is not a number colmun, problably varchar, so use something like
A.ANSWER != "0"
or
A.ANSWER > "0"Yes answer column is varchar2 but can you type A.ANSWER > "0" as a predicate? I mean, you can not varchar > varchar, can you?
Of course you can use inequality predicates on a varcahr column. Is the string A greater than the string B?
Based on the explain plan, your statistics might be a little off, not hugely so. The esitmates are at least in the right order of magnitude based on what you have posted so far.
What indexes, if any, are available on the two tables?

How to specify the AI version which file shall be compatible with?

save as. (The 'export' dalliance was instituted for v11 and abandoned for V12 as too confusing.)
At the first save dialog (wherein you give your file a name), hitting 'Save' should get you to a second dialog. Choose the version you desire from the dropdown at top: -

How can I specify the default tab in a CHM Output?
My company uses CHM-based help for some of its products. We build the CHM files from RoboHelp 9, and while these CHM files don't really have a full Index attached to them, the Index tab shows up in the output anyway. Unfortunately, we are suddenly seeing that when the CHM file is launched from our program, the Index tab is displayed by default. We'd rather have the Contents tab be the default look, especially considering that the Index does not exist.
I have poked around into how you can specify a default tab for a CHM file, and the only information I have found suggests that using a CHM file creates a file (HH.dat) that specifies which tab should be displayed on a user-by-user basis, and that the last tab displayed when you close the CHM should be the first one displayed when you re-open it. While this is true if you open the CHM independent from the product, when you launch it from our program, it's all Index, all the time.
So, my question is: How can I specify the default tab for a CHM file? Or, failing that, how can I excise the Index tab from my CHM output.Hi there
This will be something up to your application developer to resolve. When s/he issues the call to open the CHM, there are parameters that may be used to always open with the desired tab "in front".
Point your developer to the link below and advise that s/he is most likely interested in the section titled: Programming Tips.

How can I specify the PARTITION name at the time of data load?
Hi,
I have a table with 4 partitions. By using SQL*Loader I'm going to load data into the same. While inserting the records it should go to the 2nd partition only.
Where should i specify the Partition name?
Please clarify me with sample code.
Thanks.Assuming that the partition is empty before the load, I would load the data into a temp table with the same structure as the partitioned table. After all the data is successfully loaded, exchange the partition of the table with the temp table using 'alter table ... exchange partition...'
Another question is, how is your table partitioned?

Specify the GUI declaratively in ActionScript like in JavaFX Script instead of MXML
After reading a bit about JavaFX Script (which is actually remarkebly close to ActionScript 3) as a developer I thought the way one can specify the GUI declaratively in JavaFX Script via JSON-like notation for the components is pretty cool. It would be nice to have something like that in Flex/ActionScript too. The advantages I see over MXML are:
1) a more compact notation than XML which is nice from a developers view point who actually writes this kind of code. Of course the idea would be that designers still design the GUI with graphical tools that generate this code but if you have to dive in and edit the code it's nice not to have to deal with verbose XML and I think even designers can easily understand JSON-like code; don't just assume that designers love XML because HTML was based on SGML! I'm not so sure if today many designers really still know raw HTML that well (like in 1997, the early days...). Server side developers probably know it better because they have to adapt it to jsp or asp or whatever framework.
2) The fact that it's all ActionScript gives a seamless integration between just composing the components to form the GUI and adding scripts to add additionial behavior instead of mixing XML with actionscript code => no more need for those nasty CDATA blocks! It would also be easy for development tools like Flexbuilder to give a seamsless experience with code completion and zooming in on the code because it's all Actionscript! There's also no need for a separate expression language to tie the MXML to the underlying Actionscript. It would it also make easier to create custom components (not just simple composition components which is really easy in MXML) because you don't have to implement separate XML tags.
here's a short JavaFX Script example:
Frame {
content: GroupPanel {
var myRow = Row { alignment: BASELINE }
var label_col = Column { alignment: TRAILING }
var field_col = Column { alignment: LEADING }
rows: [myRow]
columns: [label_col, field_col]
content:
[SimpleLabel {
row: myRow
column: label_col
text: "Type your text here:"
TextField {
row: myRow
column: field_col
columns: 50
visible: true
Note that this shouldn't be confused with programmatically specifying the GUI in Actionscript (which is possible today as an alternative to MXML). What I propose is at a (slightly) higher level: you don't give a detailed sequence of methods/functions to call to construct the GUI (i.e. HOW to do it) but just specify WHAT you want.
Hopefully some Adobe Flex will see this and think about it. Although I think MXML is not too bad and I can live with it if I have to ;)I like that idea Sean. A standard and well-supported way to separate MXML and code would be good. I'd love to have builder support a MVC style triad for MXML files, with the
model.as being simply an all-public-all-bindable class full of VOs and view-specific information, any view-manipulation and view<->app communications in the
controller.as, and nothing but bindings and layour in the MXML. There's (almost) nothing stopping you doing this by hand at the moment, but it's a pain, and developers wouldn't stick to it for very long, when they need to create and maintain 3 separate files for that simple "error dialog" without a hand from Builder.
Then again, I'd rather Adobe spent the time that would take on opening and better-documenting builder's APIs, so we can write our own plugins easily, but that's my greedy side- A standard builder-supported MVC pattern for custom MXML components would be aweseome for people that aren't me :)

As for JavaFX, I don't care for it.

Jason you bring up a good point on a concept that I think Adobe should
poach from a different framework, Silverlight. In Silverlight the
code-behind pattern is automatic and very nice to work with. Every
interface can be composed of both a layout file and a script file, and
they get composited into the SAME class at compile time. So you can
have both a FileDialog.mxml and FileDialog.as file that know about each
other automatically, without the need to subclass one from the other.

Personally, I like the separation between the MXML and ActionScript.
We're working on a large project, and so we have all the ActionScript
separate from the MXML files. For example we'll have something like
filedialoglayout.mxml, and then
filedialog.as that is a subclass of
filedialoglayout. All event handlers and the like are setup in the
filedialog.as file - the mxml file doesn't know about any function names.
Advantages:
MXML files become layout only - and are more easily shared and worked on
with non-technical people
ActionScript is all in *.as files: no CDATA blocks and no FlexBuilder
quirks where editing ActionScript inside a CDATA block doesn't work
quite like in a real AS file.
For simple experiments, and for learning, it's obviously nice to have
everything in one mxml file, but in a big project like ours, the
separation helps keep things clearer and more maintainable.
Why use the mxml at all? The MXML files are nice to edit with the
visual editor in Flex Builder, and it's much easier to apply styles and
embed assets in MXML than it is in pure ActionScript.
I think two ways to talk about the same thing (XML and ActionScript) is
already almost one too many - adding a third (JSON) would really be too
much.
Just my thoughts.

This reminds me of a certain workflow pattern that has emerged for us
which might help provide some insight on this topic. I'm working on a
project with a couple other developers which connects to a webservice
for supplying clientside data. This data is available in both json
notation and xml notation. The thing is, while the developers have
overwhelmingly agreed that we should be consuming the json version
since it can be parsed faster and provide more meaningful context for
objects (ie strings vs ints vs arrays etc...), all these same
developers rely exclusively on the xml notation when asking questions
about the data or passing structures around to discuss.
I see the same thing when looking at JavaFX and MXML. JavaFX might
allow for more accurate structures and might be able to be compiled
faster, but MXML is better for being self documenting even if it
requires more verbosity.

How do I specify the JRE i wish to use to Run an Application.
Hi Everyone;
Please bear with me if you read this before.
I have installed java 1.3.1 and java 1.4.1 in that order.
The JRE used by default is java 1.4.1
How do I specify the JRE I wish to use to Run an Application from a command prompt.
Example:
Java -something org.jboss.Main
help ??
StephenI was a lil embarrassed. I told my supervisor that the installation of java overwrites the JRE and that's that.
My supervisor took 10 minutes and went through it and found java.exe in the System32 file.
The java.exe file is found in guess where "C:/WINNT/System32/" folder how nice. C:/WINNT/System32/ is in the path. Not only that it's the first entry in the path. So when I execute java it is not using java.exe any one of the java files that I got from the java website.
So I don't have any control over the version.
Oh well;
That's life. That's 1 for my supervisor.
