SPImport and SPExport not compatible with SkyDrivePro

Question

I have a program that uses SPImport and SPExport. It basically SPExports some files and then I modify the exported files (manually or programmatically, it does not matter) and then I call SPImport to reimport them.
The goal is to modify all files and versions without changing the version number and without changing the ID or the LastModifiedBy or LastModifiedTimeDate properties.
The problem is that when I call SPImport and SPExport then the local files of SKyDrivePro are not synchronized... it is like if SkyDrive PRO does not get aware that these files were modified! In the DB the only thing that changes is the size because I modify
the file content (I do not modify anything else).
These are the settings I use:
SPExportSettings settings = new SPExportSettings();
settings.FileLocation = szTempDirectory;
settings.FileCompression = false;
settings.OverwriteExistingDataFile = true;
settings.IncludeVersions = SPIncludeVersions.All;
then for reach file:
   SPExportObject exportObject = new SPExportObject();
   exportObject.Id = file.UniqueId;
   exportObject.IncludeDescendants = SPIncludeDescendants.None;
   exportObject.Type = SPDeploymentObjectType.File;
   exportObject.Url = file.Url;
   settings.ExportObjects.Add(exportObject);
and I finally call:
SPExport export = new SPExport(settings);
export.Run();
and to import:
SPImportSettings settingsImport = new SPImportSettings();
settingsImport.FileLocation = szTempDirectory;
settingsImport.FileCompression = false;
settingsImport.SiteUrl = szSitePath;
settingsImport.WebUrl = szSitePath;
settingsImport.RetainObjectIdentity = true;
settingsImport.SuppressAfterEvents = true;
settingsImport.UpdateVersions = SPUpdateVersions.Overwrite;
settingsImport.UserInfoDateTime = SPImportUserInfoDateTimeOption.ImportAll;
SPImport import = new SPImport(settingsImport);
import.Run();

When i startup itunes it says:
"The software required for communicating with the ipod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the Ipod's software"
I am on xp media center edition 2005
When I run the ipod updater it gives me "ipod service error"
What can i do?
I bought the 4gb nano just yesterday.
both my ipod and itunes software are the Updated September 23, 2005 versions
ps on my old pc with winxp sp2 barebones edition, it works fine...
maybe its cos in mce 2k5 i got 2 users?
