Splitting results of a formula to print on multiple lines

I've researched the form, but can't find what I'm looking for. I am using Crystal 2008. I have written formulas to determine if if multiple fields are to print on the report. Then, I want to add the fields together so they will print on the report without any gaps. For example, if field 1 should print, field 2 is blank, and field 3 should print, I don't want a blank line on the report between field 1 and field 3. I have successfully written the formulas to determine if each field should be included on the report, and have written another formula to add all the fields together that should print. However, I don't want them to just run together. I want each field that results in printing to start on a separate line. How do I accomplish this. The formula that I am printing on the report is: {@Suspense 1} + {@Suspense 2} + {@Suspense 3}. I need to get each suspense item to print on a separate line.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Smartforn printing with Multiple line items

Hi Guys,
             I am new to Smartforms and my requirement should sound simple to the experts.
I have 2 Page formats for my form. The second Page should only trigger once all the line items are printed on the first page. I created a main window in the first page but the window is quite small because of the presence of other windows. So if I give the next page of Page 1 as Page 1 itself, the other pages show only 4 line items ( because the main window was quite small ) and 70 % of the page is blank. I want that when the main window data flows to next page it should be displayed in a bigger main window.
    Secondly, using Page 1 as the next page of Page1, Page 2 never gets triggered.
Could you please guide how to acheive these 2 things and provide some sample code ?

    I managed to create a new page with bigger Main Window size and it seems to work. Thanks for that but another question is that I need to jump to Page2 ( Second Page Format ) once my list is displayed completely. I have used command node for that and it works. Issue is that I have a secondary window below main window which needs to be displayed at the end of the list.. This list is not appearing If I give ' Olny after End of Main Window' and it appears at both the pages if i dont give that option. But I want it to appear only at the end of the list and not at all the pages where the lust is present. What shall be done ?

Formula on Overall result of another formulas

Hi All
I need to create a formula based on overall result of another formulas.
Formula1->B27=Sum(B1:B26)-which is the Overall Result row
Formula2->F27=Sum(F1:F26)-which is the Overall Result row
Formula3->C28=F27/B27
C27 has Overall result row.
Formula 3 should be placed in the cell below the overall result column(C28).
I need some help creating Formula3 based on overall result values in cells B27 and F27 and placing it in C28 cell.

Script issue with multiple lines printing

I'm trying to print multiple lines of my internal table in a script.
But only the last line is being printed all the time in all the lines.
Attached is my code.

Dear All,
As i Mentioned in my earlier post, the same coding working fine in Quality server --> Printing multiple lines in script output.
But now, I have the same reqt. in another window.
So, I did the same coding.
But, this time it's printing the last line of the internal table in all the lines.
This is happening in Quality Server only.
The only difference between the previous internal table and this int. table is:
1. The first int. table content is printing in MAIN Window. ---> working fine
2. The second int. table content is printing in VARIABLE window. ---> NOT WORKING.
Can any one tell me what's the issue with this ?

Print's first line then freezes

Blue tooth connetion is fine on both printer and computer. Computer recognizes printer. Printer says "ready." When send a document to print, paper drops in properly, and printer makes printing noise. Display says "Now Printing," but nothing seems to be happening. Eventurally an error message displays on laptop. Cancel printing (which requires disabling from labtop to get it to stop). When paper comes out, only first line of text printed. Called tech support. They asked me to print from notepad. It prints from notepad (only tested on line of text). It wll also print from Word doc if only one line of text. WIth multiple lines of text or images from any program, it fails. I uninstalled, reinstalled, checked ink cartriges, checked paper, turned on-off, restarted, turned on devices in both orders (printer first, computer first)... all multiple times. Same result. The printer was able to print a webpage before (only printed one page since I've owned it). Now that I have installed the updated driver it does not work.

First, to make sure the printer itself is functional on the printer click on Setup and then Reports and then Print Status Report. If that prints then we know the printer itself is functional. Next, we'll test your print system. To do so:Turn the printer off.Go to your PC's Control Panel and then Printers and Devices.Right click on any picture of the printer you have.Click on Remove Device.Repeat for any other printers that are listed.Turn the printer on.Try printing.If this works then we know your print system is fine. From here we can try printing through Bluetooth. To do so:Return to Devices and Printers.Right click on the printer to remove it.Add the Bluetooth printer back.Try printing.Hopefully this will allow you to print. Photosmart C6180 - printing incomplete characters, lines, colors

The printer doesn't print all of the letter (like the tail of the y), doesn't print the first line and doesn't print the right colors. What it does print is very light and difficult or impossible to read. Tried cleaning the printhead (through the settings menu on the printer itself) and it seemed to fix the problem but only for a few days and then started again. Operating system is Windows 8.

I see you are experiencing issues with your print output. I would like to help.
I would recommend removing the ink cartridges from the printer, and performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also suggest following the steps in this document on Quality Issues.

Formula entry by selecting multiple cells

I'm in my 30 day eval of iwork. In Numbers I don't see a way of entering a formula without spelling out the cell references into the cell containing the formula result.
For example, in Excel, after selecting the cell for the result, in that cell I start the formula (=), then I select the first cell, then an operator , then the next cell, then another operator , etc., press enter, then the cell shows the result of the formula (sum in this example).
The Numbers user manual did not offer a similar alternative. Is there a way to click on each cell reference to build the formula?

It seems that you didn't search carefully in the Users Guide.
Page 89 everybody may read:

Printing Across Multiple Labels

I have a requirement to modify a report that will print data in a designated format. The report was originally designed to accommodate five or less detail lines. Now I have to change the report to accommodate an indefinite number of detail lines that will print across multiple labels. The labels are 2 1/2" wide and 1" high with a Times New Roman font of 5 (small font, but acceptable). The top of the report allows two lines of data for a header. There is a subreport that allows 5 detail lines and a one line footer that totals the detail lines.
This design worked fine when there where only five detail lines. However, there can now be more than five detail lines and these print on the label, losing the footer. What I need to be able to do is to print these detail lines across multiple labels. There will not be header or footer lines on these labels until the last detail line is printed, at which time the footer will print.
I have not been able to figure out how to get labels to continue when the detail lines exceed a specified amount and continue on the next label.
Can anyone offer any assistance, please?

Not much info including version of CR but think of it this way, and it may be printer dependent, rather than defining your label size as 2 1/2 x 1 set your page size to the size of a typical printer or a continuous form feed printer. Something that lines up with your labels.
For example is if you print to a laser printer you'll see the label header info and then the multiple detail lines ( this is the Detail section of the designer ) and it prints until no more data then you see the footers being printed.
So what you do is manually space your fields so it lines up with the labels and then it should print all detail lines. You will have to create formula to insert lines to adjust for any missing lines so the labels line up when the footers start printing. Example, you don't won't the footer to start in the middle of a label, unless that is what you do want.
Think of it like a Continuous form Printer rather than a label printer. Depending on the printer and labels being used I'm not sure it will allow you to create a custom paper size, if it does though and you'll have to test this, set it for the maximum length you expect your labels to be printed.

Multiple Line Results

I use Crystal to get shipments by warehouse.
The only way to get this is by Order Entry line item detail - Warehouse # field. However, if I group by
invoice #, I get multiple line results for every line item on the invoice. I only need one.
So if I have total fields in the detail, I get repeated info.
I cannot surpress becuause some totls may be the same on multiple invoices.
If the last item on the invoice is freight or misc. charge, there is no warehouse associated with this so i get no answer if I just take the last record.
The item line field (status) DOES NOT WORK other wise I could use a formula to pick warehouse for item # 1 line.
Does anyone have any ideas?

If you could post some sample data that would help.
What about multiple groups. group by warehouse and then date, item number etc.
Once you have these, supress the group headers / footers as needed.. Again a sample of the
data would help.

HP2055 prints solid black lines how do I clear this?

When printing to HP2055 any html web page results in output looking like redaction (thick black lines running entire width of page - some have texture but mostly solid black). Does not happen with any other printer. Replaced drivers. Deleted and reinstalled Firefox. Wiped profiles folder under /local. problem persists. Can print other apps fine such as WORD. only happens with Firefox to 2055.

Check print margins.
#In order to check the margins, we need to go to ''File'' > ''Page Setup''.

Installed a new printer and one line on the top is skipped

Appreciate your inputs.
We have been using the 'Check Printing report' for quite a while; We recently installed a new printer and we see that the alignment has gone wrong.
The checks are printing from one line below as it is skipping one line. Where do we adjust the setting so that the printing starts from the place where we want?

Im no expert but I doubt its a template issue more likely to be the control escape sequence on the printer diriver set up. Check your printer manual and the current set up you have.

with the help of T180-TRTYP field you know if that doc has been changed or created.
If it is not equal to H it is changed. H means created.
pass the TCODE of Sched Agreement and check this field.
You can use the CDHDR and CDPOS table s to get the changed values of new item.

Taking download into excel from ALV Grid - header is printing in two lines

Hi All,
I have a scenario where I am taking the download from ALV grid to an excel sheet. Now the header of the ALV (column names) is appearing in two lines in the downloaded excel sheet while items (records of the ALV table) are getting displayed in a single line.
This download is taken from the standard download to local file (spreadsheet) button provided by SAP for ALVs.
I am using function module "Reuse_alv_grid_display" for the purpose.
Can somebody provide an idea how I can avoid the header printing in two lines and keep the length as it is.
