Sqlloader and Alpah Numeric Sequence Generation

I am able to generate alpha Numeric sequence number,but problem arises when i have some data in CSV file i am getting error.
i.e if the datafile contains for eg
aaa GK0001
bbb GK0002
ccc GK0003
dd GK0004
ff GK0005
first column in Table is "Region" and Second is "Region_Id" i am getting error,but Just with Table Region_id i am able to load data with alphanumeric.
Please anybody can help in correct code of control file of sqlloader.

Can you post the table definition, the contents of the control file you're using and the error you're getting?

How to generate and non-numeric sequence

I am sure this is a dumb question. I haven't done development for years but I actually like the ApEx tool and hope to use it for several small projects.
I have a change request need and the users want to have a user friendly sequence number that is the fical year + four digit sequence number (e.g FY06-0001). The users will actually be able to submit the request online and the number will be assigned to them when they "save" the basic CR data.
I tried to put this in the default and source pl/sql boxes
'FY06-'||TO_CHAR(cr_fy06_seq.nextval)
I also tried to do just a select cr_fy06_seq.nextval from dual;
no luck. I get some weird errors.
1. default; pl/sql expression

I am not a sql developer, but I have a fairly extensive background in dev so any help would be appreciated.

Pictures importing out of numerical sequence

Anyone experiencing pictures importing out of numerical sequence in Aperture 3.0.1..??

I had tried that, I have 'date' and 'ascending' selected. Its only happened on one project and its not really any bother to re-arrange them, but I was curious why...?
It's a project I imported from my MBP, it's in the correct sequence on my MBP...
Any idea's...

Changing file name: Numerical sequence not good!

Im doing imports where I assign a new name to images with numerical sequence after it.
Problem is LR only lets me start from 1 and not 001.
Therefor when the files get into the hundreds, the files wont display correctly in Bridge.
Can you make LR do the sequence starting with 001?

Absolutely, it can do this.
In the import dialog's filename box, pull down the list and choose "Edit" to edit your filename preset. You will then be able to create a custom preset with a three digit sequence number.
I've done exactly this myself.

Single image sequence generation. ?

Essentially, I'm looking to find the best solution, to the idea of building sequences where and with using - importing, different sequencial, single images.
— To be clearer perhaps, I'm a Weather student / enthusiast, and this would be toward generating a sequence / different sequences .. of hourly weather-satellite obtained images.
To this point, or up until very recently, and in fact for several years previous, I have - in fact, been able to do this fairly simply, with using an older version of QuickTime (older logo, I think that main version offered still, through "Tiger".) and, with once I've dropped a first or more initial image more in particular, into the application, then merely dragging and dropping whichever others into its main viewer-window, checking save, and naming the file.
— Perhaps, unorthodox. But, it's worked just fine for the idea.
— And, of course, this idea can't be used with the newer version/s of QuickTime.
"very recently": .... Today, and with having been using this method of "simple sequence" generation, together with older version of QuickTime, on my relatively new "iMac", and running Snow Leopard, Mac OS X v. 10.6.8 - all up to date, ....
.. I've found that I'm no longer able to access the older version of the application. (I think this advent, might be related to a "MacKeeper" clean-up that I did recently. ....)

Opening an "image sequence" (folder of sequentially named same dimension files) is a feature found only in QuickTime Player Pro.
Beginning with Snow Leopard the OS includes QuickTime Player X (in Lion it is 10.1) in the Applications folder and QuickTime 7.6.6 is moved to the Utilities folder.
QuickTime X has its own feature set but can't be upgraded to "Pro".

I'm assuming that you've added your code segment to EmpImpl.java.
The first parameter to SequenceImpl() should be the name of a database sequence, not the name of a table column.
Once you've changed that, if you still get the same error, you need to check whether EmpImpl.java has a method called setId(), since this is what your error is complaining about. Your entity should contain accessor (getter and setter) methods by default. If your entity doesn't have these methods, then edit the entity, select the Java tab in the Entity Object Wizard, and check "accessor methods" for the entity object class.
Lastly, I recommend testing your business components in the business component browser (aka the tester). This is a way of making sure your business logic works before you try to run your client.

How do I start, stop and restart a sequence with a periodic input?

I have written some code that will monitor my com port (rs-232) continuously for an ASCII character (in this case a 'P'). When the P is received, I want a sequence structure to start working. The P will only appear once for a short while, but the sequence should carry on running until it finishes all the frames. On the next time a P appears on my monitor, I want to either stop the sequence structure regardless of which frame its in and restart the sequence from the beginning again or to run the sequence from the start again if it has already completed all the frames.
What sort of structure do I need to do this, are there any examples?

Indiana is correct, my take on this is similiar.
If you have a 3 element sequence structure for example which runs if 'P' is returned from your COMs thread, you will need to query a variable in each element of the sequence in order to suspend execution of the next/remaining elements in the sequence if this event occurs. You can do this by reading the variable that your COMs thread sets using a case structure in each element of your sequence. In order to re-run your sequence if 'P' is returned during the execution you can simply set the suspend variable and ensure the code is in a while loop to recall the code.
See the attached example code/screen shot:
This is however not an elegant solution and the best way would probably be using the events structure and a user event to queue the P events. This is available in 6.1 but I believe its the professional package. See also my implementation using this method, again attached below:

I updated iTunes and now my 6th generation nano can't be properly recognized now.

I recently updated my iTunes after holding off for a bit and now my 6th generation Nano wn't be recognized in iTunes but is recognized on the computer.
The message I get is this "An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again."
I did this and still get the same message.
I found this article on the apple website http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3218 which specifically deals with this problem. I went through all the steps including uininstalling and installing iTunes and still nothing.
I called apple but they told me I need to buy some 20 dollar phone help plan in order to even talk to anyone since I bought it back in 2010. I won't be doing this.

Try resetting the Nano with it still connected to a high powered USB 2.0 port on your PC. To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

There you can define the condition types and the access sequence
Or else directly goto the transaction code NACE where you can define all at once , even the condition records.
