SRM 7.0 adding Button for DESCRIBE_ITEM usage definition

Hello all together,
We wish to implement  a button on the second step for using the DESCIRBE_ITEM standard eventhandler (for the popup of free text position) .
here we are getting the error that the describe_item has no component name and the application has not created the component.
I found out,  that when the shop card is in other status then saved the button does function (application here is FPM_OIF_Component).
but in a new status or saved status (appl. here is pfm_gaf_component) I am getting allwas the error.
Do I have to change something in the configuration and if yes, what do I  have to do?
Adding initializing of the component for the popup does not work /help, the error then is: ...is a component interface and not a component.. and cannot be created..
.- and the thing is : the component is already there and should be used...right?
Please help.
Thanks in advance for any input / help!

Hi,
I ' ve found the solution on my own.
it is just a configuration issue in the FPM.

  • Adding button for report on a form OR as a quicklist selection

    In order to make this easy for my sales guys, is there a way to add the option to run a custom shared analysis from a form (add an option button)?
    For example:
    When the sales rep creates an opportunity and adds product revenue to it, he will need to run a quote report to be sent to the customer. It would be very convenient to have the option to run the Quote immediately from the opportunities tab rather than having to navigate through the reports tab.

    Hello Alex
    Can you please send me the documentation to add a button on a form too?
    Is this also working with designer 2000?
    Is there also information in this document on implementing an sql script to the button?

    The button for adding a reminder seems to have disappeared.  Is this a bug or am I missing something?

    It should be on the top of any list you create.  It is the Plus Sign in the upper right hand corner of the "Paper".

  • Adding listeners for instances on other frames

    I'm trying to create a very standard menu, the type where there are links on each page that links to each other. So far I've put each menu page on a separate frame (total around 35 frames), and each link as its own instance/class. Originally I planned to create an array containing all the links like this:
    var menuLinks:Array =
                                //Main menu - frame 1
                                menuRightSide.newStoryLink,
                                menuRightSide.continueStoryLink,
                                menuRightSide.selectChapterLink,
                                menuRightSide.optionsLink,
                                menuRightSide.charactersLink,
                                menuRightSide.aboutLink,
                                //chapters menu - frame 2
                                menuRightSide.chapter1,
                                menuRightSide.chapter2,
                                menuRightSide.chapter3,
                                menuRightSide.chapter4,
                                menuRightSide.chapter5,
                                //characters - frame 3
                                menuRightSide.char1,
                                menuRightSide.char2,
                                menuRightSide.char3,
                                menuRightSide.char4,
                                menuRightSide.char5,
                                menuRightSide.char6,
                                //options - frame 4
                                menuRightSide.languageLink,
                                menuRightSide.costumeLink,
                                //function links - these exist on MULTIPLE frames/pages, eg options, characters, chapters all have backToMainLink
                                menuRightSide.backToMainLink,
                                menuRightSide.backToCharLink,
                                menuRightSide.backToOptionsLink,
                                menuRightSide.backToCostumeLink,
                                ]; //create array of links for menus
                currentPage = "main_menu";
                for each (var links:MovieClip in menuLinks)
                    links.buttonMode = true; //set links to behave like button
                    links.mouseChildren = false; //mouse over does not affect this instance's children
                    links.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER, onOver);
                    links.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT, onOut);
                    links.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onClick);
                function onOver(e:MouseEvent):void //apply glow to every link
                    TweenMax.to(e.target, 1, {glowFilter:{color:0xFFFFFF, alpha:1, blurX:10, blurY:10}}); //glow effect
                function onOut(e:MouseEvent):void //remove glow on link on mouse out
                    TweenMax.to(e.target, 1, {glowFilter:{color:0xFFFFFF, alpha:0, blurX:0, blurY:0, remove:true}}); //remove glow
                function onClick(e:MouseEvent):void
                    currentPage = e.target.name;
                    if (e.target.name == "newStoryLink") { //if click newStoryLink
                        delegate.beginStory();
                    } else if (e.target.name == "optionsLink") { //if click optionsLink
                        TweenLite.to(menuRightSide, 0.2, {alpha:0, onComplete:menuRightSide.gotoAndStop, onCompleteParams:[45]}); //go to frame 45, options screen
                        TweenLite.to(menuRightSide, 0.2, {alpha:1, delay:0.2});
                    } else if (e.target.name == "charactersLink") { //if click charactersLink
                        TweenLite.to(menuRightSide, 0.2, {alpha:0, onComplete:menuRightSide.gotoAndStop, onCompleteParams:[10]}); //go to frame 10, char screen
                        TweenLite.to(menuRightSide, 0.2, {alpha:1, delay:0.2});
                    } else if (e.target.name == "aboutLink") { //if click aboutLink
                        TweenLite.to(menuRightSide, 0.2, {alpha:0, onComplete:menuRightSide.gotoAndStop, onCompleteParams:[180]}); //go to frame 180, about screen
                        TweenLite.to(menuRightSide, 0.2, {alpha:1, delay:0.2});
    Basically adding listener for every link, then simply telling AS what to do when I click the link regardless of what page I'm currently on.
    However the problem is I realized listeners can't be added for links that exist on other frames other than frame 1, because they're null I think until AS flips to that frame.
    So does anyone have an idea on how I should code this? Another challenge is some links (the ones at the bottom of the array) exist on MULTIPLE frames, but perform the exact same thing regardless of which page it was clicked on.
    Thanks.

    I arranged them on separate frames because that way I know exactly what's on each page. If I simply list out all the links on one frame, then it gets extremely messy visually.
    So if I want to add listeners on other frames, how would I do that? I know the pseudo-code:
    on frame 1:
    for (each link on frame 1) {
    link.addEventListener()
    on frame 2:
    for (each link on frame 2) {
    link.addEventListener()
    ... etc
    function onClick(e:MouseEvent):void
                    currentPage = e.target.name;
                    if (e.target.name == "newStoryLink") {
                        delegate.beginStory();
                    } else if (e.target.name == "continueStoryLink") {
                        //do something else

  • What is responsible for phantom usage? (a 36-hour test)

    There is a ghost in my iPhone 4S/5.0.1 that is mysteriously ramping up the usage and consuming cellular data when the phone is dormant (sitting on table, no apps running, no user interaction of any kind). I've just completed an 36 hour test monitoring the charge state ot the battery. Throughout the test, the iPhone was a few feet from an active WiFi acaccess point (Airport Express), and several blocks from a GSM cell tower.  Every few hours, I clicked the Home button, noted the usage and cellular data consumption, and put it back to sleep.
    Friday 11pm. The iPhone had been in its dock all evening, and the battery was fully charged. Usage, as reported by Settings/General/Usage was 0 minutes. Cellular data = 5.0 MB sent, 33.1 MB received.
    Sat 11 am. Battery at 93%. Usage = 11 minutes. Data 5.0/33.2
    Sat 2pm. Battery at 89%
    Sat 5pm. Battery at 87%. Usage = 24 minutes.
    Sat 11pm. Battery at 82%. Usage = 31 minutes. Data 5.1/33.5.
    Sun 8am. Battery at 77%. Usage = 39 minutes.
    Sun 11am. Battery at 75%. Usage = 42 minutes. Data 5.1/33.5
    As you can see, the battery discharged 25% over the 36 hour test. From this, one can extrapolate that the standby time would be 144 hours (6 days), significantly less than Apple's claimed standby of (up to) 200 hours. However, I had WiFi and Bluetooth on. Apple's 200 hour claim is no doubt a best-case measure obtained with everything other than the cellular radio active.
    More troubling is the usage that was reported: 42 minutes over the 36 hour test.  The iPhone was completely dormant (sleeping) throughout the test, except for the 6 times that I poked it to read the battery meter and the usage stats. The screen was on for perhaps 15 seconds each time. From an end-user perspective, I used it for about 1.5 minutes, not 42 minutes.  Perhaps the iOS usage measurement rounds up to the nearest minute each time (just like cellphone carriers measure phone calls), in which case, I was (arguably) responsible for 6 minutes worth of 'usage'.
    My question: who or what is responsible for the rest of the 42 minutes of usage reported by iOS? I'd like to know what processes account for the reported 42 minutes. Who or what triggered them, and why are they counted as part of my "usage"?
    I know what was not responsible. I don't have iCloud activated. There is no Mail being pushed, or Mail being fetched. I don't have an Exchange account. WiFi Sync is off. Location Services is turned on, but none of my apps that employ Location Services were active (Maps, Google, Camera+, etc). Knowing that they're power hogs, I have disabled most of the System Services that use Location Services (Diagnostics & Usage, iAds, Setting Time Zone and Traffic are all off). Cell Network Search is on, but the iPhone wasn't moving, had a nice strong GSM signal, and had no need to be searching for different cell towers.
    If my six  'meter reading' events do account for 6 minutes of usage, that leaves 42-6=36 minutes unaccounted for. Perhaps it's a coincidence, but the test ran over 36 hours. I wonder if some system-level process is triggered once an hour or so, and gets counted by the iOS usage meter.
    The other anomaly that my test revealed is the celluar data that was sent/received. It's very small, and certainly won't kill my data plan. But I have to wonder why any cellular data was flowing. The iPhone had a solid WiFi connection throughout. If iOS had need to send or receive some data in the background, why did it use the (expensive) cellular data channel instead of the (free) WiFi channel?

    Page 22 of this document will give you some numbers that will allow you to estimate the total data used for a meeting. Keep in mind these numbers are what Adobe saw as average consumption, yours may be higher or lower.

  • How do I add a button for a custom task on the List Accounts page in 5.5

    I'm trying to add a button to the bottom of the List Accounts page that launches a custom task. I thought this would be easy - just modify UserActionsConfig. I've already added the task to context menus. The problem is there are only options to add buttons for the Find User results page and the context menus. Is there a missing attribute key that needs to be included? Is there a different config file that I need to modify? Any help would be appreciated.

    Sorry not possible in 5.x. You will have to use 6.0 and the new HTML based tree browser.

  • Button for audio

    I'm using a tutorial from flashkit.com to make a simple
    button for audio on/off. Here's is the tutorial
    Step One:
    Create two buttons in your graphics program, one for
    switching the music off and one for switching the music on.
    Step Two:
    Put both buttons into one Movie Clip. Each button on a
    seperate frame. So you will have a MC with the first frame with the
    "MUSIC OFF" button and the 2nd frame of the MC will contain the
    "MUSIC ON" button.
    Step Three:
    Open the actions for the first frame of the MC and put in
    this code:
    stop();
    and for the other frame add (The frame with MUSIC ON):
    stop();
    stopAllSounds();
    Step Four:
    Go to the first frame and open the actions for the button
    (MUSIC OFF button):
    on (release) {
    gotoAndPlay(2);
    Then for the MUSIC ON button add the same code but replace
    the 2 with a one.
    Step Five:
    Now import your music file into Flash (Go to FILE>>
    IMPORT) then go to your first frame of the MC and add your sound
    into it. Under LOOP NUMBER put a big number like 9999 so the music
    will go on for a long time.
    I made my "button" in photoshop, and import it into flash,
    its showing as a bitmap (I've tried saving it as a jpg, gif, and
    png) when I preview my button after importing the music and adding
    the script to each layer it plays the music, but you cant click on
    it to turn the music on/off. I get this Error in preview
    **Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=on, frame=1:Line 3: Mouse
    events are permitted only for button instances
    on (release) {
    **Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=off, frame=1:Line 2: Mouse

    What am I doing wrong? And how do I make my image into a
    button? Thank for any help!

    the button has to be actual flash BUTTON instance not just
    button image.
    You need to convert each symbol into BUTTON.

  • Adding Buttons to a ScrollPane??

    Hello Swing people,
    I have had this problem now for quite some time and still have had no luck in getting it right. I am coding an ordering system and on this form is a Jtable displaying product details. Beside the Jtable are category buttons one after the other in a vertical line and there are 18 of them - meaning they cannot fit on the screen!! Therefore i want these buttons to be in some kind of scollpane or list so they can all be viewed.
    I thought this would be a simple matter of adding buttons to a scrollpane and then to the panel but this has proved not the case! Does anyone know how i could do this as i have been trying this for too long without the help of you geniuses???
    To give u an idea of what i was trying here is a snippet of my code:
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class junk2 extends JFrame{
         junk2()    {
         JPanel panel = new JPanel();
         panel.setLayout(new java.awt.GridLayout(0, 1) );
         JButton []button = new JButton[20];
         for(int i=0; i<button.length; i++) {
              button=new JButton(""+(i+1) );
              panel.add(button[i]);
         JScrollPane scroll = new JScrollPane(panel);
         getContentPane().add(scroll, java.awt.BorderLayout.CENTER);
         setSize(50, 100);
         setDefaultCloseOperation( EXIT_ON_CLOSE );
         public static void main(String []args) {
              new junk2().show();
    This code is fine and puts buttons in a vertical line but the buttons only have numbers on them from 1-20, i want the names of the buttons i have declared to be in here - therefore allowing the action performed on these buttons to be recognised and therefore work too! - anyone know how to get around this??
    Also the scrollpane with these buttons in apears in a whole new frame being that it is a small test program but does anyone know how to ensure the buttons appear in the scrollpane only and not in a new frame??
    all 25 dukes if someone can sort this long problem out!!!

    Hi guys thanks a lot for your replies, i compiled both of them and they are fine! the first reply is more what i am looking for but there is still a problem, i am finding it difficult to incorporate this piece of code into my order form class.
    Im trying to take out the current declarations of my JButtons and replace it with the code i was given (reply 1) and obviously keep my action performed methods there as they will be the same but cant seem to do this!
    If anyone can add in the code from reply 1 into my code below or at least help me i will give u the 25 dukes, taking into consideration i still want the form (panel) to be displayed as well as the panel or scrollpane containing the JButtons???
    Can u help - cheers in advance!!

  • Making a button for a third party plug-in

    Hello there,
    I've just downloaded and started playing with Configurator.
    My problem is that I would really like to add buttons for two
    plug-ins I've added to photoshop.
    (Picturecode Noise Ninja and Alien Skin Exposure 2).
    These plug-ins do not appear on the drop down list in
    Configurator.
    Is there any way I can modify the script box in order to
    launch a non-standard plugin?
    Similarly, I have a Script (Showit Borders) that I'd like to
    make a button for.
    Many thanks,
    Miller.

    id try it but i use neatimage for noise...
    your actions are all created with selecting a new action,
    then going to INSERT MENU ITEM within the actions panel so that you
    could then manually add a plugin to your action, yes?
    as opposed to actually hitting RECORD for a new action and
    then going to the plugin within the normal dropdown menu, which
    might then cause problems with some plugins, because your not just
    adding the plugin window to popup this way, your adding the plugin
    window to use the settings you recorded with, and if its noise
    reduction, it could be trying to pull the exact-named file into its
    profiler...im just taking a stab at the cause...

  • Toggle Buttons for multiple images

    I just watched a video from lilybiri about standard and simple actions and then followed into her blog for the text caption toggle buttons.
    Now reading through that, there was if statements suggesting you can toggle between the values of 1 and 0 to make visible/invisible. Can this be done with more than 2 images? I am more interested in having a toggle feature where I can have 3 or 4 images and toggle the images to see changes in detail within those images. It seems like it has to be possible, but I'm not getting it.
    Also, is there a way that if you have a toggle button, or two perhaps, that you can have the button be displayed as if it was pushed? I know how to make buttons, I'm just wondering if there is a feature to display the button as the _down version until I re-select it, or toggle it off as it were.
    Thank you!

    You will need a conditional action, perhaps use a variable for each button that will be set to 1 if the button is pushed and to 0 if it is free.
    Didn't check it out but action will be something like this:
    IF v_bt1 is equal to 0
        Assign v_bt1 with 1
        Show im_down1        which is the image of the down-state
        Show Image1             which is the image you want to show
        Hide Image2
        Hide Image3
    ELSE
       Assign v_bt1 with 0
       Hide im_down1
       Hide Image1
    You'll have to test, it is too late over here for me to do some testing. I added the hiding of the two other images, because if the user doesn't toggle the buttons for those images to hide them, I think you want to hide them automatically. Perhaps better also hide their correspondent down-states? Be sure to have the image of the down-state on top of the button in the timeline panel.
    And if you ever want to return to the slide, have an on Enter Slide action that hides all the down and real images.

  • [svn] 4138: * Added support for SWC reuse.

    Revision: 4138<br />Author:   [email protected]<br />Date:     2008-11-19 08:15:59 -0800 (Wed, 19 Nov 2008)<br /><br />Log Message:<br />-----------<br />* Added support for SWC reuse.  This isn't just reusing the bytes to<br />  lower I/O, which we were already doing.  This means not reparsing<br />  the bytes unless they become out of data.  The trick with making<br />  this work is validating each of the SWC based cached<br />  CompilationUnits at the beginning of each compilation.  When a SWC<br />  based CompilationUnit becomes obsolete or is removed from the<br />  library path, all the CompilationUnit's, which depended on it, are<br />  forced to be recompiled.<br /><br />  Note: bugs with the SWC reuse logic often show up as errors claiming<br />  that type foo is not an instance of type foo.  This most likely<br />  means that foo was reloaded, but something that depended on foo<br />  wasn't reloaded.  Please file bugs for any errors like this and give<br />  me a heads up.<br /><br />  Flex Builder has logic to take advantage of this change in the case<br />  of application compilations, but it will need to be updated to take<br />  advantage of SWC reuse in the case of library compilations.  The<br />  biggest benefit of this change will be seen when all the libraries<br />  and applications in a workspace share a SwcCache.<br /><br />  Updates to the performance testsuite to enable it to take advantage<br />  of these changes will follow.<br /><br />tests Passed: checkintests, performance testsuite, fcsh unit tests<br /><br />Needs QA: YES<br modules/asc/src/java/macromedia/asc/util/ContextStatics.java<br /><br />    Added clearUserDefined(), which allows Flex to use one<br />    ContextStatics instance when compiling multiple libraries and<br />    applications.  If we didn't clear out the userDefined Map,<br />    definitions from one compilation could potentially spill over into<br />    others where they might not be defined or might be defined<br />    differently.<br /><br />  modules/compiler/src/java/flex2/tools/oem/Application.java<br />  modules/compiler/src/java/flex2/tools/oem/Library.java<br /><br />    Renamed start and end of a "full" compile.<br />    Before full compiles were reported as "inactive".<br /><br />    Added support for using LibraryCache's new perCompileData<br />    variable.<br /><br />    Modified Library.link() to use a SwcDynamicArchive instead of a<br />    SwcWriteOnlyArchive when the file name is known.  This allows us<br />    to reuse the compilation units in the archive for timestamp changes<br />    with catalog.xml and library.swf.  When we are reusing cached<br />    SWC's, the catalog.xml and library.swf are updated each time we<br />    save the SwcDynamicArchive, but we don't want to reload the SWC<br />    from disk, because all the compilation units represented by<br />    catalog.xml should be cached.  If any of the cached<br />    CompilationUnit's becomes out of data,<br />    CompilerAPI.validateCompilationUnits() will handle removing the<br />    cached CompilationUnit, which will cause it to be reloaded from<br />    disk.<br /><br /> The DependencyGraph usage also<br />    happened to be flawed, because it really should have been looping<br />    each time a potential "type" or "expression" source was removed<br />    until no new WatcherSetupUtil to the same as the mxml<br />    document.  Now that we validate sources in the ResourceContainer,<br />    any changes of Bindable metadata in dependent sources will cause a<br />    recompile.  The use of System.currentTimeMillis() was a hack.<br /><br />  modules/compiler/src/java/flex2/compiler/css/StyleModule.vm<br /><br />    Removed unused import.<br /><br /> • How to disable forward button for particular workitem in SAP Enterprise portal 7.4

    HI Experts,
    We have recently upgraded our enterprise portal to 7.4 version. We have a requirement to disable the forward option for a particular shopping cart workitem coming from SRM system.
    I searched the help document and other threads and found that the FORWARD button can be removed from iview property:" LIST OF ACTIONS TO BE EXCLUDED"  But this disables the forward button for all the other workitem type also.
    Is there any way to disable the FORWARD BUTTON ONLY FOR SHOPPING CART ITEM THROUGH XML CONFIGURATIONS?
    I have attached the screen shot. Kindly revert with your suggestions.
    Best regards,
    Rahul

    Hi Gaurav,
    In you xml file , you can check forward action in<action>..</actions> tag . Also I am assuming , the shop cart workitem uses default view , so you can check default view in your xml and remove the actions from that view. For ex:.. you can create a custom view and make your task use that view and you can remove 'forward' action from that view.
    Hope this helps !
    Thanks & Regards

  • Standard buttons not displaying ALV when added button by creating PF status

    Hi  All,
    I have added a button(using SE41) in application toolbar for ALV grid using Factory method.But the problem is I am unable to see the standard tool bar buttons(Layout,Download,Mail etc).
    Even I tried adding buttons(using standard FCODES) to the PFstatus.Now the buttons are visible but the functionality is not working for all buttons.Its working only for Graphic and Change layout buttons.
    Can any one suggest...??
    -Phaniram

    Disregard DKS's response...that's the older stuff and you're using NetWeaver ALV.
    In SALV you can cause those buttons to appear, but you may need to copy the SALV_STANDARD GUI from one of the SALV* named program using SE80...sounds like you have that part, but you may need to turn functions ON...
    Perhaps something like this would help:
    data:  gr_f_list  type ref to cl_salv_functions_list,
             gr_alv     type ref to cl_salv_table,
    SALV toolbar & GUI functions
      gr_f_list = gr_alv->get_functions( ).     "Get Toolbar functions
      gr_f_list->set_all( abap_true ).          "All On
      gr_f_list->set_view_lotus( abap_false ).  "Lotus 123 off
      gr_f_list->set_view_excel( abap_false ).  "Excel in Place Off
      gr_f_list->set_graphics( abap_false ).    "Graph tool off
    For undesired buttons, set each tool OFF after turning all ON.
