SRM SC  PR  PO Question

Hi ,
I am new to SRM and any guidance, notes, pdf you can provide is appreciated.
My email id is [email protected]
The application that i am working on is SRM with catalog (only) managed by MDM.
SC created in SRM is posted as PR in R3.
R3 generates a PO corresponding to PR.
Both PR and PO are posted back to SRM
One issue i am facing is PR is reflected on SRM but PO is missing in SRM (present in R3). Any pointers?
FYI.... BBP_GET_STATUS and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP are running fine.
Thanks,
Nikhil

Hi Nikhil,
The two reports that you mentioned are the standard reports that need to run continuously.
CLEAN_REQREQ_UP - for clearing entries from SOCO once the SC is converted to P.O
and BBP_STATUS_GET_2  is for updating the status.
This is really strange why the P.O status is not updated under Chek status if everything is running fine.
Neverthless try creating Confirmation and invoice in SRM. If the system is allowing to create confirmation then it indicates that P.O status is updated as confirmed /approved P.O.
Also check in R/3 if some release procedure is maintained for the P.O which prevents the P.O from actually getting approved.
If some release procedure is there for P.O even though the P.O is created until and unless it is released it will not update the status in SRM as ordered/ approved P.O.
So please look into these observations and run the cycle once again.
Hope this will help you in resolving the issue.
Award points for helpful answers.

Teja

  • R/3 - SRM [ Limits and Tolerances questions ]

    Hi
I was wondering if anyone out there could help provide any helpful info in relation to any of my questions below.
    1) PM order requirement against an operation for service, requirement (pur. req.) created in MM, requirement sent to SRM, PO created in SRM and copied back to R/3.
    Q. Overfulfillment tolerance - Should this be calculated into the Total
Value of the Operation or Activity so that the GOA (approvel) is granted on this
    amount?
    2) Overall vs. Expected Value - Should GOA (approval) be granted on the Overall
Limit instead of the Expected Value?
    3) Overfulfillment Tolerance - should this appear on the SRM PO?  Should
it be used to calculate the total value of the PO so that GCA (approvel)_is granted
    on this amount?
    4) Should a Buyer be able to revise the SRM PO without the change also
being made to the R/3 PR?  If not, should there be validations in SRM to
prevent the Buyer from doing this?
I really appreciate any help anyone out there can provide.

    Hi,
Register the queues via t.code sxmb_adm where u have an option manage ques.
Once you register the queues, they default activated.
If u want to manually unlock then u need to go to transaction SMQR,SMQ1,SMQ2 for queue management. There u have to select the queue and activated all entries.
SMQ1 u2013 qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue and restart any hanging queues manually.
SMQ2 u2013 qRFC Monitor for the inbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue.
U may schedule the report RSQOWKEX (Outbound Queues) and RSQIWKEX (Inbound Queues) to restart the queues automatically.
To Cancel the messages from MONI with the Status Scheduled for Outbound Process
    Schedule the Report RSXMB_CHECK_MSG_QUEUE
    SAP_BC_XMB_DELETE

  • SRM 7.0 - the questions everyone's been asking?

There are frequent questions coming from clients and internally about SRM 7.0. But there seems to be a lack of documentation (or at least itu2019s difficult to find). The last official memo from SAP I know of is nearly a year old (Oct 2007 https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700001040832007E/SRM2007Communication.pdf). The release documentation (https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/releasestrategy) is dated Jan 2008, which states release November 2008 (although suspected ramp-up date, rather than general release).
In light of this have a couple of questions:
    - Does anyone have (or know of) any documentation detailing the new functionality of SRM 7.0 compared to SRM 5.0 (or SRM 4.0)?
    - Does anyone know of any more recent official communication from SAP other than those mentioned above?
    Any help gratefully received.

    Hi
Please sent it to my business mail id.
i have some info which i got it from forum.

  • SRM PO - how to check Shipment/Goods Receipt/Payment

    Dear Gurus,
I have to find if there is a shipment or goods receipt or payment against a SRM PO. My question is can I get these details in SRM or I have to come to ECC to check. If they are in SRM, please let me know where. If I have to come to ECC to get these details, please let me know any standard functions for this. Appreciate all your help.
    Thanks,
    GSM

    Synchronize invoice status
    BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS
You can use this report to synchronize the status of invoices in SAP SRM with the status in the back-end system. If an invoice in the back-end system has the status Paid, the status in SAP SRM is adjusted; that is, the status changes from Approved to Paid.
Note that invoices in SAP SRM with the status Paid cannot be canceled.
Check goods receipt for XML invoices
    BBP_IV_AUTO_COMPLETE
This report checks for XML invoices with the status Waiting for Preceding Document, and whether appropriate documents have been posted in the meantime, and then attempts to post the relevant invoice
    BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS
via check status , user can see his documnet whether sc status, po created or not, gr done or not, invoice made or not.

  • Issue connecting SRM 7.01 to a R/3 4.5B back-end

    Guys,
I need your help with the following. We are currently trying to connect a SRM 7.01 system to a R/3 4.5B back-end. We almost got everything working except for a small problem, maybe you can help. We are using the classic scenario and are creating purchase orders in the back-end based on a SRM SC.
First question did anyone successfully connected a SRM 7.01 system to a R/3 4.5B back-end?
The problem we are encountering is as follows. In customizing in SRM I have selected system type R/3_4.5B as the back-end system type in u2018define system landscapeu2019.This causes for the determination of driver FM B45A_PO_CREATE when SRM wants to create the PO in the back-end (BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER  ).This action succeeds because the PO is created in the back-end.
However, the next action of BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER  is to read the data again from the back-end via FM B45A_PO_GETDETAIL. This synchronous call is done in order to update the SC status in SRM and create the linkages in BUS2121. This last action fails, because at the time the get detail Bapi is executed by SRM, the EKKO table in the back-end is not yet up to date and error u2018W5 107 purchase order does not existsu2019 is issued by the BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL in te back-end. This causes the SC in SRM to get status I1112 (error in process). Even though this status is issued in SRM, the PO is available in the back-end without any errors if I check this  via ME23.
What I see is if I debug the SC transfer process and wait 1 or 2 seconds between the B45A_PO_CREATE and B45A_PO_GETDETAIL. The issue is not there. In this case it appears that the EKKO table is updated on time in the back-end and the B45A_PO_GETDETAIL can be processed in SRM without problems in order to update the SC status. I get status I1113 follow-on document created in this case.
Thus my conclusion is there is a timing issue when connecting to a R/3 4.5B system. Does anyone know a solution. Our thought goes to a small enhancement in the B45A_PO_GETDETAIL FM creating a timer to wait a second before the execution and fetching of the data. I tried it and it worked. But of course I prefer a standard SAP solution. Did anyone experienced similar behavior? Or knows a standard SAP solution to this problem?
    Appreciate your help.
    Best regards,
    Skander

    Hi Surender,
The code changes in this note only apply if the system type is u201CERP_Xu2019u201D. This is not the case over here, we are trying to connect to a R/3 4.5B system.
Some additional info, we have multiple back-ends connected. All ECC back-end function correctly and for these we do not have the problem. Only for the very very old R/3 4.5B system.
Any way I tried the note but no luck. This because of the above.
    Thx.

  • Schedule changes and validity dates for prices in product catalog(SRM-MDM)

    Hello!
I'm working on a project that is going to use SRM-MDM and the question is if it is possible to schedule changes(for example to add new prices that have a validity period, can you make the changes now that are going to be valid from 1st of februari?Or can I add products today that are only going to be available to buy from a particular date?).
The other question is if it is possible to have a validity period for prices and when the date is valid, then the product is shown in the catalog. In the same way that when the date is not valid, the product is not shown in the catalog. Can this be made automactically? Can a logic be build to choose which products are going to be shown in the catalog?
Do you have any suggestions for those issues?
    Thanks in advance!

    Dear Poster,
As no response has been provided to the thread in some time I must assume the issue is resolved, if the question is still valid please create a new thread rephrasing the query and providing as much data as possible to promote response from the community.

  • SRM SUS Supplier operating in more countries?

    Hi all.
    SRM SUS 7.0
We are implementing SRM SUS, and my question is quite simple: A vendor that in ECC has more than 1 purchasing organization, how can I distinguish among those in SUS so that not all contact persons are receiving the PO?
I would expect to simply use either the purchasing org or company code, but the organizational setup for SUS is so limited, that the EKORG og BUK are not even considered.
Supplier ABC operates in EKORG 1 and 2; with 1 overall SAP vendor number. That's standard. In SUS the supplier is created in the PPOMV_BBP with no respect to BUK, and EKORG is not even a parameter/an attribute you can use while creating the vendor org units. When the supplier is replicated to SUS, it is created in PPOMV_BBP. Then you create a contact person in SUS to let SRM know who to send the PO for this vendor number to. However, the contact person does - again - not take either BUK or EKORG into consideration.
I can only see that if you use SAP ECC with 1 overall vendor number for multiple purchasing organizations, then SUS will not be able to distinguish and send the "New PO in SUS" info to the right contact persons, since there seem to be no organizational setup for SRM SUS...
I hope I am overlooking something simple, so any input is valid!

    Hi Sam.
Thanks for the input. However, what you state is not accurate for our scenario at least. In MN04 we simply control the output conditions in ECC - however, for our MM-SUS implementation given our current ECC/SRM releases, we use XML out from ECC and into SRM again; not regular output conditions.
And my issue is still the following:
    Functional scenario:
Supplier called ABC operationg in 2 countries but with 1 overall vendor number
Contact Person 1 created for vendor; this is in pur org 200
Contact Person 2 created for vendor; this is in pur org 300
Contact 1 should only see POs in pur org 200 in SUS; Contact 2 should only see POs in pur org 300 in SUS.
In ECC, this would be vendor ABC and create him in the 2 different pur orgs; no problem. In SUS, however, the vendor master (or BP) does not use the purchasing org in any case. And when creating the contact person in SUS for the overall vendor ABC, there is no org maintenance either. Therefore, all POs from ECC to SUS will be sent to both contact 1 and 2 because SUS does not seem to know how to handle 1 vendor number with multiple purchasing organizations.
This sounds strange to me! Any other input?

  • SRM Shopping Cart & Catalog Scenarios

    Hi Gurus,
currently we are running SRM Project (shopping chart) with SRM-MDM Catalog.
based on  our High Level architecture, we just installed instance below :
    SAP SRM (AS ABAP)
    SAP NW 7.4 which SRM_MDM_CAT, MDM_CONNECTOR, MDM_JAVA_API installed
SAP NW 7.4 which LM CONFIGURATION BS 1.0 and LM CONFIG SRV 7.3 installed for CTC (BS : SRM ERP Configuration V1) , this function as "small" PI/XI instead install SAP PI at separated instance (because we don't buy that license)
we did not install MDM server (honestly we confused, is it MDM running top of AS ABAP or AS JAVA?)
SAP Portal which BP SRM Installed there
    our question are :
how to post configuration after install SRM_MDM_CAT, etc?? how we can check it?
          when we open UTL http://hostname:5000/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM
Server name, what do we must put it?
       and SRM CATALOG UTILITIES
if we click connection test, look like MDM Server will be putted it.
when we run CTC , we got some skip phase, do you have manual task instead automatic use CTC?
without MDM server, is it possible running Shopping chart SRM?
we did not install MDM server (honestly we confused, is it MDM running top of AS ABAP or AS JAVA?)
    please advise us
    thanks
    Gho

    Hi Ranjith,
As per your log first approval level  having 3 approvers/agent , any one of the apporver approve the WI ( parallel processing ), it is going to next level approval, ( ie, the rest of the two agents need not to approve , the WI will automatically disappear from their inbox , until and unless it is not dynamic parallel processing )
So in your case first level is approved one of the agents out of 3 and the WI is now with the second level approver /agent ( ie, new agent of second level )
Kindly reward, if it is helpful.
    Regards.
    Shamsudheen.

  • Defaut lead time in SRM Catalog

    Hi,
I would like to know as to what are the options for making the lead time parameter ( from Catalog) set to a default value so that the delivery date ( required on date ) in SRM can be set to the current date + default value.
For eg: if the lead time in the catalog parameter can be set to 1 then the required on date in the shopping cart should be current date + 1.
I think this is possible through the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER .  Also, it is possible to set the lead time so that the system calculates the next working day. Like if a shopping cart is created on friday the delivery date should be Monday.
Does anyone have the implementation code for realizing this scenario.
    Awaiting your replies !
    Regards,
    Rajesh Rajendran

    Hi Jason,
Thanks for the reply. I know that the lead time determines the delivery date of the product procured from SRM. However, my question was more technical. In terms of adding a default lead time for all the products which are obtained from the catalog.
We can use the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to change or add to the data that the catalog returns to SAP Enterprise Buyer via the catalog interface. I just wanted to get a sample code of how to code the BADI for setting the lead time parameter for all the line items from catalog to say fixed value 2.
This is in cases where the lead time parameter is sent blank from the vendor.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

  • Doubt in Middleware configuration setting in transaction code - smoeac

    Hi,
For your information this is a new SRM 7.0 installation and I am connecting to a existing ECC system.
I have performed all the step metioned in SAP Note: 720819 for middleware configuration in SRM system. Bit confused about the setting in Transaction code - SMOEAC. I have done following step in transaction code - SMOEAC.
    1. Created a new site type R/3
    2. I have mentioned RFC connection name (RFC connection from SRM to ECC) in 'Site Attributes'.
    3. System showed correct Logical system name When I clicked on 'Get value' option.
For your kind information, a site type CRM exist in the system without any data in 'Site Attributes'.  We have not define the CRM site. It come while install the new SRM server.
My question, apart from the above setting. do I need to define enter any data for the site type CRM in SMOEAC?
    Thanks in advance,

  • XI in SAP roadmap

    Hi,
Perhaps this is a newbie question, but i will still try:
We all know that XI is used by Xapps, other NW components (like MDM and BI), SRM etc'.
My question is when  (starting from what SAP version) XI will be anounced to be the out of the box "HUB" that will be used for data interchanges between R/3 and other systems from the mybusiness suite like CRM, PLM and SCM?
This will basically make it an indispensable tool and help very much to move forward its adoption.
    Thanks,

    Hi Roshwitha,
I would like to check few things in sap xi 3.0. Is it possible to get the trial version SAP XI 3.0 where i can create data types, message types, mapping etc... to get some hands on? please let me know is it possible?
as you mentioned in SAP netweaver 7.0 ABAP trail version, are you able to see new screens for creating mappings, etc...
Please let me know as soon as possible so that i will start trying.
    Thanks

  • Purchase Order Response in Classic Scenario

    Hi Experts,
    Implementation Scenario- CLASSIC
    SRM Server - 5.0
    Question-
    1) Within Classic Scenario, is it possible for to create Purchase Order Response in SRM for a PO which is already created in backend? This PO is generated by a shopping cart in SRM.
    Best Regards,
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
You can create POR for a PO which is already created in backend, no matter if its created with reference to SC in SRM. This POR would be done by the supplier in SUS scenario.
It possible in both, classic and ECS scenario's.

  • Print-out of shopping carts - add additional informations

    Hi SRM-experts,
one simple question. Is it possible without modification to add in the print-out of the shopping cart additional informations such as the purchase order number. Is there a possibility to customize that function ? Thanks for yours replies.
    AW

    Hello,
This will need small enhancement in the smatform. You will find it easy.
Use T-Code SMARTFORMS and copy the standard smartform for SC layout "BBP_SC"  and create a Z-one and use that by implementing the BADI BBP_CHANGE_SF_SC.
You can get the PO value from the table BBP_PDBEI.
    Hope this solves the issue.
    Thanks

  • Creating new client (via SCC4) doesn't create defualt users (SAP*,DDIC,...)

I've created a new client (100) via <b>SCC4</b>. After this, I've tried to login at this client with <b>SAP*</b> user and password <b>PASS</b> (i've also tested with the password that i've changed at installation). The message that the system displays is "<u><b>Name or password is incorrect</b></u>". I've been querying the SAP table <b>USR01</b> and the user is not created for this client (only for clients <b>000</b>, <b>001</b> and <b>066</b>). What can I do to login at the system with client <b>100</b>?

    Hi Raphael,
Thanks for choosing the SRM forum for this question.  But Netweaver or Web Application Platform would be more appropriate for this question.  You can also look for SAP Notes in the BC-CTS-CCO area.  See if Note 41839 helps.
    Kind Regards, Suresh.
