Srw224g4 web interface and firmware upgrade

Hi all,
I just landed new managemenet pool in witch there is a srw224g4. I'm kind a lost and disapointed because when I saw the cisco logo I told myself hey, it's going to be smmoth with this switch. BZZZ WRONG...
Ok, first, the web management just doesn't work with IE, F and chrome. Anybody has a solution? Whent googl and multiple post but nobody has a decent answer! What cisco is saying about putting on the market a switch that just can't be access by web???
I reverted to the consol for upgrading the firmware but There is nothing in the manual on how to perform... anybody did it? how to perform?
Any inputs would be appreciated.

Frank,
Have you tried any of the suggestions found in the Q&A section of this document?  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps9986/index.html  You may find something on here to help you resolve the issue.  If you don't and the switch is still under warranty you should contact the Small Business Support Center at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/support/tsd_cisco_small_business_support_center_contacts.html if you haven't done so already.
Best Regards,
Glenn

  • Different values in halp input of web interface and infoobject

    Hello,
I created a web interface with selector variable value with appearance help input. If I display this web interface and use help input, values will be displayed. But these values are different to the master data of the appropriated InfoObject in SAP BW. What could be the problem?
    Thanks for your help.

There is a difference in the way the Web Interface that reads data and the Way Bex reads the Master data in the F4.
For Web reads the data directly from the Master Data tables...but in Bex especially the system generated Infoobjects get data from other system tables.

  • E4200V2 Manual Download and Firmware Upgrade to 2.0.7

I have a 4200V2 acting as a Router and (2) more E4200V2's acting as Access Points,
The E4200V2 acting as the Router is at Firmware 2.0.37, but, the other Access Points are at Firmware 2.0.36.126507 and when I try to have the Firmware Upgrade Utility in Setup update the Firmware it gives me this message:
    "Current Version: 2.0.36.126507
Available Upgrade: Your router software is up to date"
Where is the downloadable Firmware 2.0.7 located?
How do I upgrade the Firmware Manually to 2.0.7 and should I?
    Murray

Hello mkerdman. Suppossedly the Version 2 for E4200 has the option to automatically upgrade to the lastest firmware (and even has the option to restore it to the previous one) but if it is not working for you then yes, go for manual upgrade.
I found this from Cisco's public kb site:
    FIRMWARE UPGRADE METHOD
    1. How do I upgrade the firmware on the E4200?
When logged in to the web-based setup page, go to Administration tab > Firmware Upgrade sub-tab.  If the router is currently online, make sure the Online Upgrade radio button is selected.  Click Check for Upgrades button.  If an update is available, click the Upgrade Now button.  If the router is not currently online, make sure the Manual Upgrade radio button is selected and browse for the firmware file.  Then click the Start Upgrade button.

And to download firmware version 2.0.37 from their website: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/routers/E4200

  • Zen Nano Plus - Connection Problems and Firmware Upgrade probl

Like many others posting on this forum, for a while I had problems trying to get my GB Zen Nano Plus to be recognized by the .0.03 Firmware Update software.
I eventually got it by doing this:
While the Firmware Update software was "Searching" for a device, I kept on unplugging and plugging in the Zen Nano Plus from the USB cable while holding down the Play button, unti it "caught". I tried this since I noticed it would initially see the unit saying "A device has been detected in recovery mode...", but then throw the unit into "non-recovery" mode and hence force the Firmware Update software to keep on searching.
Anyhoo, after it did finally "catch" it (after about 0 times unplugging/plugging while holding the Play button down), it showed my firmware as .03.02, and so I did the upgrade to .0.03. The upgrade said "Complete". I then take the unit off of USB, and put my battery back in. and. uhm. well. Now it won't turn on at all. *sigh*
So there I go again in the "unplug-plug" loop on trying to get the older .03.02. Finally caught after about 30 times (yes my hands are tired). And after downgrading to .03.02, putting the battery back in, the unit turns on fine.. WHEW.
So, beware to everyone. Not sure if I'd trust the .0.03 Firmware. Doesnt seem to work on my Zen Nano Plus, and I JUST bought the thing from Circuit City about a week ago.
And for those of you having problems getting the Firmware Upgrade to work.. try my (tiring) method.
I tried this on my Dell D600 laptop (actually used the USB ports on the docking station).

With your player connected and View, Devices by Connection selected in Device Manager navigate through as follows:
Advanced Config and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
    ->Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
    -->PCI Bus
You should then see a series of USB Host Controllers that you will have to click through in turn to find the one your player is connected to.
Underneath each controller should be a USB Hub, and then devices are listed beneath the hubs.
For my N200 I have USB Mass Storage Device, Creative MuVo N200 USB Device then Generic Volume.
Your entry should be similar but with Zen Nano Plus instead of N200.
While you're there, right-click on the entry for the hub attached to your player and select Properties. On the Power tab it will show how much current the port can supply and in the Attached Devices list it will show how much power the player needs. In my case the hub supplies 500mA and the player needs 00mA.

  • Loss the "Deleted Items" folder on Exchange 2007 WEB interface and any Outlook with any version.

    Hi,
My client had lost his "Deleted Item" folder in his outlook, and I try to used the WEB interface to help to check, also can't find out the "Deleted Item" folder.
Then we're try to used outlook 2003,2007 and 2013 also can't find that.
Could you mind let me know any solution we can solve this problem with my client?
    Thanks

I believe the Deleted Items folder was just hidden from view, as I don't think a user can delete their Deleted Items folder. Here's a KB for the fix: Contacts or other default folder hidden, but shortcut works with Open in New Window Article ID: 924226
(http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B924226&x=12&y=12). In short, you need to change the PR_ATTR_HIDDEN value for the hidden folder, which in your case is the
    Deleted Items folder.

  • N80 On 3 And Firmware Upgrades

Hi, I'm hoping to use Navicore satnav software on my N80, but the Navicore website suggests a version of firmware higher than I have on my phone. Link below states the requirement for '4.0623.0.41 or later': http://www.navicoretech.com/Consumer/Support/Compatibility My current firmware is at 3.0618.0.2. I phoned my nearest Nokia service centre, and they were happy to discuss upgrading of the firmware, and seemed OK about doing it. However, when I mentioned I was on the 3 network, this seemed to raise some problems. I was told that the firmware for 3 is somewhat proprietary, and that my version number didn't map directly onto generic firmware versions. This being the case, they would have to connect my phone up, and see what happened when their software went looking to Nokia for information. In addition, I was told that 3 firmware lagged behind the generic by some margin. So, my queries are: 1) Is there a later version of 3 firmware than mine (dated 23-05-2006)? 2) How does it compare to the Navicore required 4.0623.0.41 version in terms of currency? 3) What are the chances of Navicore software running on 3 firmware at all? Thanks in advance, Kieran

The GENIRIC-firmware of the N80 is updated; this doesn't mean that the Operator-variants, i.e. Vodafone & T-Mobile, updated THEIR firmwares as well . . .
Nokia Software Uploader looks for the Production-Code of your GSM.
With NSU, you can NEVER change your Operator-Firmware to the GENERIC Nokia one!

  • ITouch stuck in recovery mode after iTunes and firmware upgrades

my iTouch has hung in recovery mode and will not restore after I updated to iTunes 7.7.1.11 and tried to update the firmware suggested on iTunes Summary screen after launching the new iTunes. The firmware I was at was 1.1.4 and iTunes was offering the update to 1.1.5. Now the iTouch is stuck.
i have tried the restore function, removed/reinstalled all Apple software, the iTouch resetting procedure (hold power & home buttons together), NOTHING WORKS.
    HELP
    Thanks,
    nitefisher

I am having problems similar to this. After the ITUNES 7.7.1 upgrade and the ITOUCH 2.0.1 upgrade, ITUNES thinks the ITOUCH is is recovery mode and it must be restored. If you use the ITOUCH it works fine. I have recovered at least 10 times over the last 2 days. The ITUNES syncs sometimes and says restore is necessary sometimes. Various other errors pop up too. "The Ipod could not be restored. An unknown error occurred(6)" is just one of the errors. I wish I could back out the software because the hardware is fine. I suspect bugs in ITUNES. It's bad enough you have to pay for the ITOUCH upgrades but they have errors in them too. I've read numerous variations of this in the last 7 days with no clear fixes. Even the problems I am having are not consistant. If anyone has a clue let me know. Thanks.

  • NMH300 Issues : Indexing, recent files, web interface ...

    Hi,
I am presently having A LOT of problems with my NMH.
I tried to reboot, different drives, different settings with drives (raid, linear ...), different firewalls, different IP settings, different route settings, cat5 and cat6 ethernet cables ... And IT IS NOT WORKING !!!
At first, i just tried to use the NMH as a Media Server for my music and video files.
I was trying to stream content with my playstation3 (videos and music files).
It was working well for videos but the music folder was a complete mess (the web interface shows some unreallistic ID3 information) and some files don't appear int the web interface.
(I formerly was using PS3 Media Server on my laptop to share content mith my PS3 and the music folder was NOT a mess, all my files were ok and playing good).
I have to tell that my ID3 tag are quite allright (except some personal files not tagged).
At that time, the main problem was a really slow and unstable access so streaming music was not really good.
I looked for a solution and about 3 months later, I found something out ...
The problem that poped out from forum searchs was a maximum of files allowed by the NMH.
I had to many music files so the indexing was never ending, the acces was very slow, copying  a 100Mb video file could take more than 30 mins ...
So I just made a backup of my datas, formatted my Seagate 500Gb drive and then just copied some files (not a lot) in each music, videos and pictures folders. At that time, it was pretty ok (except that I had some issues trying to connect to the web interface but anyway, the ps3 was accessing files quite good)
I  was using around 50 files in each media folder.
Then I plugged in my second drive (Western Digital 640Gb) to use it in linear mode (btw, this is what I would like to have in a final time : about 1Tb in linear mode).
At that time, still working quite good.
I added some videos files (about 100Gb), my pics collection (about 15Gb) and some more music files. (8Gb in less than 7000 files in order to keep indexing working good).
And here I am now, with my MediaHub half loaded (still have more than 65000 music files waiting for a solution !!!), trying to browse with my PS3:
    - videos look good, browsing and streaming both ok
    - pictures look good too, I can browse the folders and see my pics without a problem
    - music ... well, I cannot browse the folder anymore (in ps3 tree menu "folder" does not appear anymore, only "artist", "album", "playlists" ...) which is really annoying for me (I use a a lot of sample libraries and each have their own "artist" and "album")
But anyway, I decided to give a look at the web interface and I noticed that the recent files that were showing up were files that were not present anymore on the disc !!! It seemed like the only recent files showing were files I added 2 months ago.
I was looking at the "recent files" I was using when I first set up my NMH for the first time ...
By now, I've read some threads about this problem but there no solution.
Some helped resolving the "indexing" issue. I tried to reboot several times, formatted the Seagate then the Western Digital drive to see a difference but nothing.
    So my questions:
Is there a way to have a full working NMH concerning music and ID3 information ?
Is there a way to completely clear the NMH music information database to have it ready to be re-filled ?
Did someone managed to have a stable installation ?
And finally, can you browse your music folder and see the original tree (as you see it in windows) ?
Thanks a lot for your help and information.

    Well ... I tried ... It failed !!!
The TwonkyMedia settings page currently shows :
    Content
    Music Tracks :      3830
    Photos :                 251
    Videos :                 465
    Radios stations : 0
My clients are all set up as they should be
(except my isp box which shows "generic media receiver")
I tried different options to see if there were any differences (auto-share media with new clients on/off, ftp enabled/disabled, iTunes library service on/off ...) but there is no way I can see my music thru the web interface.
As a consequence, I cannot reach my music from the outside. (over the web for example).
I even tried to use a blackberry, an iPhone, a HTC Desire and an iPod touch to see if I could access my files thanks to the twonkymedia ( h t t p : / / [ my ip ] : 9000 ) ... The twonkymedia page shows up (I can't access any file (music, video nor photos) because of a gateway timeout.
I just don't get what's wrong with my NMH but I really am fed up with it ...
To sum up, thanks to your links Wilkins377 :
    - I now can complete the scanning without any problem.
    - My music folder is now browseable by folder (as shown in windows) thru the PS3
    - I now can turn off the NMH by pressing the power button during 5 seconds (it used to restart)
    But ... (again) ... :
    - Hardrives won't stop spinning and both drives are very very hoooooot (can't touch them !!!)
    - As a result, the NMH is really noisy and noise isn't stoppipng at all (24/7).
    - No recent music files and no music files at all in the NMH web interface.
    Please help me !!! Anyone ... I'm desperate ...
PS: I didn't upgrade to 3.8.15 so I still am using the 3.8.14 firmware. Everything was ok at first (I mean when I first installed my NMH) before I tried the 3.8.15 so I'd prefer not to upgrade as I am certain that the NMH CAN work well on my network with the 3.8.14 firmware.

  • WRT54G v6 firmware upgrade under Vista problem

I'm not sure if this is related to Vista or not.
I downloaded the correct firmware version for WRT54G v6 and selected upgrade using the web interface. After a few minutes, the browser directed me to a site with the following URL
    http://192.168.1.1/upgrade.tri
My IE7 had problem displaying this page and the Power LED on the router kept blinking. I tried to connect to the web interface and it was still showing Firmware Version: v1.00.9
I don't think there is anything wrong with what I did and not sure if the upgrade was successful. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. I found the solution here http://www.scorpiontek.org/portal/content/view/27/36/1/3/:
This could be because you are accessing the router over HTTPS. You cannot upload firmware or settings to a WRT54G v5 over a HTTPS connection unless you have Linksys firmware v1.00.9 or later. Try accessing it using just plain HTTP.
Enabling and using http instead of https worked for me. No need to reset or reconfigure.
    I upgraded from 1.00.1 (IIRC) to 1.02.2.

  • WRT54GL firmware upgrade failed

    Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on my WRT54GL v 1.1 from 4.30.2 to 4.30.9 and I keep getting the "Upgrade are failed!" message after a few bars on the upgrade-o-meter.
After I get the msg, the router keeps working exactly as it used to.
I tried with the Linksys upgrade and then with the Tomato 1.07 with the same result (but after fewer bars on the upgrade-o-meter).
I've read the FAQs and I can see nothing specific that I haven't done. I've used my normal Opera browser as the web interface and also IE7.
I'm running Vista Home Premium with all the current patches.
I keep seeing references to a TFTP utility. Would that help?
    Any other suggestions?

Tnx for the reply and sorry for my delay in getting back here.
I have no AntiVirus and only Vista's inbuilt firewall running.
    A couple of things, though:
The first: On the Linksys page for the 'WRT54GL Downloads' it only allows me to specify a "Version 1.0"
    Mine's a v1.1.
The second thing: Trying to use web-based (in IE7 or Opera9.21) upgraders always leads to "Upgrade are failed!" and so does the TFTP procedure, but can I ask what may seem like a dumb question?
What should happen when I press the Reset button on the back of the router?
It clicks very slightly when I press it and hold it in (using a wooden matchstick) but none of the lights on the front change/ flicker/ go out or do anything. It's as though the reset button isn't actually connected to anything.
So, what *should* happen when you press the reset button?
    TIA
    [Edit]
Just to say that my problem's now solved and my router's back to normal again. See separate thread "WRT54GL Reset switch broken?"Message Edited by brianlj on 06-14-200702:37 AM

  • Problems after firmware upgrade to 3.2.10.30101

I have just updated my Iomega Home Network Drive (Cloud Edition) to 3.2.10.30101. How I wish I had looked at this forum before I did!  Had the same problem as described elsewhere during the firmware update with never getting past the "Restarting" message.
On start-up now the network drive is not visible until, as suggested by Steven_Lenovo in other related discussions, th e network cable is removed and reconnected. Then it is visible to Windows Explorer and can be "pinged".  So no data loss - hurrah!
However, when starting up the EMC Storage Manager interface I cannot get to the Home Screen (I get the "Restarting" Page) unless I wait for around about an hour, and it is only after an hour that the white power light stops flashing.
Pointless submitting a ticket as I have had my network drive too long, but maybe someone can come up with a better fix than re-plugging the network and waiting for an hour every day, and If not, maybe it will make people think twice before installing this upgrade (and earlier ones looking at the number of post-firmware update problems).
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello LesleyG franmart,
Is the unit fully booting? It should have a solid white power led once fully booted.
If the unit is not fully booted, the web interface will not fully load and usually show a progress bar or a restart message
If the unit is taking a very long time to boot, but does eventually finish you may want to try the following if you have not already.
    Do a hard reset
To do this (This is not Data Destructive):
#1. Press and hold down the reset button for 4 seconds.
#2. Then remove the power cord while still holding the reset button.
#3. Wait about 5 seconds and then plug the power cord back in while still holding the reset button.
#4. Release the reset button after 4 more seconds.
    Cycle the unit.
    #1 Turn of the device
    #2 Disconnect the network cable
    #3 Turn on the device
#4 Wait a few minutes then connect the network cable
Connect the device directly to a computer
    #1 Turn off the device
#2 Disconnect the network cable from the router and plug it direct into the computer
    #3 Turn on the device
#4 Allow for the unit to boot up
#5 Open the command prompt or terminal on your computer
Command Prompt (PC) : Start > "cmd" in the search (no quotes)
Terminal (Mac) : Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
#6 Run the following Command arp -a (there is a space between both)
#7 Look for a Physical Address starting in 00-d0-b8 and there should be an IP Address associated with that.
That IP Address will be where the device is located and you should be able to access the web interface by
typing that IP into your browser.
If the above doesn't help, a full factory reset from the web interface or firmware reimaging may be needed.
Contact the Lenovo Support by phone or chat to request the USB imager (This is data destructive).
Please ensure that you have processed any and all data recovery or backup attempts before you proceed to
    this option.

  • Did scan to Diskstation stop connecting with firmware upgrade CLP1CN1516AR

I use my HP 8600 N911g almost daily to scan to LAN network attached storage, in this case a Diskstation. As of today I cannot scan to the Diskatation any more, it just will not connect. I have tried powering off in turn the printer, the router, the diskstation, letting each sit for 1 or more minutes before restarting, to no avail. I can print from my laptop to the printer, i can ping it via IP address and computername, I can open up its web interface and test the network locations - four are defined on the Diskstation, none of them connect. I created a new definition of an existing folder on the Diskstation and tested that, it also could not connect. From my laptop (Windows 7 SP1 64) I can access the Diskstation folders fine through both Windows Explorer and a command line interface. HP diagnostic tools on my laptop all run fine except for the scan test, which pulls in both sheets of paper from the ADF tray but the second sheet does not quite get ejected and the test locked up my printer; cancel and power button did nothing so I had to unplug it. I noticed yesterday that my printer said it was downloading an upgrade but eventually it aborted. Today I ran HP 8600 tools and it said I was up to date. It reported firmware version CLP1CN1516AR, which I understand was released 7/20/15. Could this upgrade be the problem? My printer is connected via ethernet to a LinkSys router that is bridged wirelessly to  a Verizon FiOS ActionTec router to which the Diskstation is ethernet attached. This system has been in place for a year or so. My laptop, bridged router and printer are all within 3 feet of each other, the ActionTec is 30' away through two walls, my latop rates the ActionTec 4/5 bars in Windows icon or -59 dBm from  Xirrus WiFi Inspector, from near to the printer. Vey frustrating. Any ideas, please?

I was called by HP Support, they reached me Friday just as I was about to leave to go on vacation for two weeks. They had read this thread and knew it was more than just me. They acknowledged a problem and assigned me a case number but closed my ticket, I need to call them when I am back on the 24th August so we can work to find a solution. They will open a new ticket then.
I hope HP will contact you and open a ticket for you and resolve the problem and issue a new firmware upgrade including the fix so that I can try it when I return, but that might be a stretch as presumably it goes through some QA testing before they release it. At least they should start working on it with your help.
Please keep us posted on any developments.
For a workaround I enabled scan to computer and email scan. I tried webscan interface and it scans but when finished it says click the save button to save but there is no save button, the two scan and cancel buttons remain unchanged from before initiating the scan. I tried both of those and they do what they say they do and don't save. I can see a preview mini image of the page and if I hover over it it presents a series of icons including a diskette but when I click that I can go through the motions of saving but the file is empty. The email scan is easiest to use, I send to myself and it takes a few minutes after scanning to appear in my inbox and sent folder. From there I can download to NAS or forward as an email. But compared to scan to network it is much slower and more labor intensive.
Good luck, both of you (pcni & greylisted).

Selecting "Host Mapping" freezes the web interface.
Actually it totally kills the web interface and the switch will no longer respond web requests.
(IP Configuration - Domain Name System - Host Mapping)
Have to power cycle reboot to recover.
    Model: SG 200-08
    Version: 1.0.6.2

    Dear Customer,
Thank you for reaching Small Business Support Community.
    I first suggest to upgrade to the latest firmware release version 1.3.2.2;
    http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=283771818&flowid=24301&softwareid=282463182&release=1.0.0.19&rellifecycle=
If the problem persists and if you have tried different web browsers already, I then suggest you to download and install Java Runtime Environment since I've noticed some of the pages in the web-based interface that require the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to be installed.

  • When is Linksys going to fix the WPS54g web interface that's crashing?

Since the last update 6049 in September 2005 which fixed problems but also introduced a new problem. If you used Firefox or Internet Explorer 7 both will completely crash the print server. Now with Internet Explorer 6 it works fine. The problem is you can't get Internet Explorer 6 with Vista, and also Microsoft is updating all Windows XP boxes to Internet Explorer 7 though the auto update. I love the web interface and the Admin tool is not as powerful as the web interface. There has not been an update since September 2005.Personally I use Ubuntu Linux and Firefox started crashing the server immediately with the update , but I needed. It was ok because I had a Windows VM with IE 6, and I figured Linksys wasn't going to give me the time of day. Any workarounds maybe?

I ask Johndoe_06 that you not edit this into a question that is not relavent. The problem is a problem that Linksys needs to fix.Message Edited by jerone on 02-22-200701:09 PM

This is not a security setting problem. Firefox first exposed this problem and now IE 7 is exposing it. The print server should not crash if a web browser is viewing it. No matter if you are under Windows or Linux . I first saw this problem using Firefox under Linux. But IE 6 worked fine under Windows. But now IE 6 is now gone to the way side and both Firefox & IE 7 send commands to access web pages is exposing a serious problem in the WPS54g firmware.Message Edited by jerone on 02-22-200701:10 PM
