I am providing support to one of our clients, where we have jobs scheduled to load the data from the tables in the source database to the destination database via SSIS packages. The first time load is a full load where we truncate all the tables in the destination
and load them from the source tables. But from the next day, we perform the incremental load from source to destination, i.e., only modified records fetched using changed tracking concept will be loaded to the destination. After full load, if we run the incremental
load, the job is failing with the error on one of the packages "Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint. Cannot insert duplicate key in object '<tablename>'. The duplicate key value is <1234>, even though there are no duplicate records. When we
try debugging and running the failing package, it runs successfully. We are not able to figure out why the package fails and when we run the next day it runs successfully. Request you to help me in this regard.

I have a solution to this issue now after a discussion with Apple Support. Some where in the last few weeks, there was a change in the key that would do a Show Desktop under the Mission Control settings in the System Preferences. Even though the key sequence that was shown for the Show Desktop setting did not include the Left SHift key, by changing this first to having no key sequence and applying that and then changing it back to the F11 key, the Left SHift key issue that I was having has cleared up.
A second issue that was uncovered was that the SSD had some issues (uncovered when I ran Disk Utility using the Repair Disk key). I had to restart and use the Disk Utility through the Command R sequence to get to the stand alone Disk Utility. The SSD appears to be running better as a result as well.
Hope that this is of use to someone else in the future.

Why don't you explain what happens when you try to delete these two apps that are showing that they need updates. You can only delete them if they are actually installEd on the iPad. Are they on the device?

New install of SQL 2014 Std MSDN. Get "The SQL Server product key is not valid. To proceed, re-enter the product key values from the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or SQL Server packaging."

Trying to install a new version of SQL 2014 Std 64 or x86. Installing on Windows 8.1Pro 64bit machine.
I get:
"TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure.
SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
The SQL Server product key is not valid. To proceed, re-enter the product key values from the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or SQL Server packaging.
Error code 0x858C0017."
I looked at the summary log and that is the only error.
I made sure there were no other instances of SQL on this machine. Uninstalled all VS2013 and sql instances just in case. IF there is somewhere to check if a previous version or license is causing the issue, i would be glad to check.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problem with insert or update when object has a forigne key

I am using toplink and something wierd is going on. On one of our servers we have a table "t" that has a foreign key. We are seeing errors when we work on "t" that seem to be toplink trying to "re-insert" the record in the FK. My explanation may be lacking, I am sorry for that, but I would be greatful for any help I could get. A stack trace follows:

I am not inserting any records into UEA_PROVIDERS but still toplink seems to be trying to. Is there something I can do to stop this behavior. It only appears on this one server and it seems to go across applications..

This is most likely an issue with your UnitOfWork usage. How are you registering the objects in the TopLink UnitOfWork and updating them? Are you using the mergeClone() API?
Ensure that you are first reading the objects your are modifying through the UnitOfWork, and modifying the UnitOfWork clones.
If you are using the mergeClone API, ensure your descriptor's does-exist policy is correct. You may need to use the does-exist option check-database if the related objects to the object being merged have not been read into the session's cache.

Objects automatically duplicate when moving without holding the option key?

I am using Illustrator CS4 on Mac OS X and I am having touble understanding why when I select an object (text block or embedded image) to move it in the artboard it dupliactes itself automatically and I am not pressing the "option" key when dragging the object. Is there a setting that I am missing? What is happening here?

I cannot insert a cd. Computer doesn't grab it or acknowledge it's there at all.

I've never used the cd slot. First try and it doesn't seem to work. Computer won't acknowledge it: suck it in, eject it, read it. Everything else on computer is great. Thanks so much for any suggestions.

Sounds like a hardware issue. If you have Apple Care, call them and get a case number. Otherwise, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

Some of the entries in my address book show birthdays one day/year earlier in Ical. I cannot change this except by putting in the birthdays a day/year earlier than they are. Why is this happening only for some entiries and not others?

I have entered a birthday in Address book as 23 March 2011 and it appears in Ical as being on 22 March 2010. Other names have no problems. I'm having this exact same problem, but it's doing it with a bunch of birthdays. I also did 0001 when I didn't know the birth year, so I went back and did a more current year, but they still aren't showing up where they should be...or at all. It's completely bizarre.

No iTunes content on the iPhone is included with the iPhone's backup.
If you are syncing music and video - you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, after purchasing any music direct with your iPhone the music should be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so. Under Store in the iTunes source list, a playlist should be created automatically as well with the name - Purchases On - the name of your iPhone.
Not so if you are manually managing music and video with your iPhone. When manually managing music and video with your iPhone, it is manual all the way in both directions. After purchasing music direct with your iPhone, with your iPhone connected at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.

hi i am using SQL Server, when i try to insert data from my jsp page it is inserting the data double time and when i try to submit for second time it is showing the following error.
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_EMPLOYEE'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'EMPLOYEE'.
I didnt set identity for primary key. If i try to set identity to true then it is allowing data to submit only if i uncheck my primary key column in cached row set. And if i uncheck that primary key element then i can not retrieve the data by edit button. So how to solve this problem.

I suspect you are trying to insert modified records instead of updating.

I am configuring a JDBC Receiver. I need to insert the records and if the same record is coming again i need to update the records in my database.So I have used action "UPDATE_INSERT". But now I am getting the error,

It seems that you are trying to update the primary key itself..
One thing is sure The error is related to data....
Do this at JDBC receiver Communication channel :
Under advanced option : use parameter "logSQLParameter" and use value "TRUE"...by this way you will be able to see the values passing through JDBC receiver .
And then check whether the same value exist in Table or not...

Having just done this this morning, let me have a go at explaining one possible use for this feature:
I am bulk-loading some data into a table. I know that some of the rows in that data duplicates other rows, and that I need to clean out those duplicates.
The quickest way of detecting duplicates I know of is to attempt to switch on a primary or unique key constraint and have the duplicate records written out to an EXCEPTIONS table. Therefore, I create my loading table with a primary key constraint DISABLED, so that I can actually perform the data load which I know will violate the constraint. If I'd created it enabled, which is the default, the bulk load would never be able to insert anything into the table, after all. When the load is finished, I do this:
alter table bulk_load enable constraint bulk_load_pk exceptions into exceptions;...and then I can use other techniques to use the new contents of the EXCEPTIONS table to work out which rows from the BULK_LOAD table to delete to clear out the duplicates.
All constraints when first created are in the enabled validate state, unless you specify otherwise. If you miss out the validate/novalidate keyword, in other words, your constraint will be created as VALIDATE.

Table B has 5 columns->B_ID,B_Name,B_Adress,B_City,B_City(Total 30 rows)
From both the table i want the data,which i need to use in curosr to display finally as "Address Label".
Both the table are entirely different,but there can be some names of Table A which may come in Table B also,if the name,address and city is also same.That means same person in both the table.
So finally i want total number of distinct records(distinct data of Table A which is not in B+all the data of table B) to come under Address Label.
How can i write the select query for this condition?

The corresponding column types should be similar, if not exactly the same.
There's no problem if A_Name is VARCHAR2 (50) and B_Name is CHAR (30).
However, there will be a problem if A_ID is a NUMBER and B_ID is a TIMESTAMP.
You must have the same number of columns in all branches of the UNION.
If you want an ORDER BY clause, put it at the very end, after the last branch of the UNION.
You can use positional notation (where 2 means the 2nd column) like I did, or you can use names from the first prong of the UNION (such as A_Name).

Whenever you have a question, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables, and the exact results (formatted) that you want from that data.
You can concatenate all 5 columns into one VARCHAR2 column, if you want to.
You'll probably want to use RPAD (or simillar functions) to make the output line up nicely.
If any of the columns are not strings, use TO_CHAR to make string versions of them.
For example:
SELECT TO_CHAR (A_ID, '9999999')
     || '   '          -- leave a little space between the left-justified a_id and the right-justified a_name
     || RPAD (A_Name, 25)
     || RPAD (A_Address, 50)
