Stage directory not created after clean restart of WLS

I deployed the application in stage mode.
After clean restart of the weblogic server, the stage folder is not getting created.
But application is up and running.
Workaround Tried:
-Checked the Java options whether any of "-nostage,-external-stage" options are used, but none are used.
-Checked the deployment tab under server->config->deployment, it has the stage path specified
Can anyone point what could be preventing the stage folder creation??

If you are deploying through the Admin Console then while deploying try using the below option:
Recommended selection.
Copy this application onto every target for me
Though the default option for each server is stage mode, but you can try to use the above option and check whether the stage directory is created or not.

We have re-installed the IIS and SCCM secondary site. tried to intsall the MP role and DP role but it has not created any logs or IIS virtual directory in the secondary site server which is in WAN link.
Trouble shooting:
- checked the ports 443,445 and 80
- Disabled symantec
- exchanged the public key ( still it is in progress in Despooler log)
- checked the site to site permission and added the accounts.
please suggest further.

MIGO should not create after PO Delivery Date

Hi,
We have a PO with multiple line items and diff. Delivery Dates...
We want that during MIGO Process, Posting Date should not exceed to PO Delivery Date.
Means, if PO Delivery Date is 05.07.2014, then MIGO should not created after this date...
Please suggest.

If you want to achieve the scenario with standard settings, then you can use the field "Latest GR date".
Just put the same date as delivery date in this field. Then system will not allow to do GR if the Posting date is exceed with compare this date in MIGO.
You can find the latest GR date in Delivery tab in PO. Also you can maintain the field as mandatory in PO to avoid the field value blank as per your requirement.
Also if you want to change Latest GR date along with delivery date, just take the steps which is explained in this document Mass changes from one field to another field.

RFC connections do not work after system restart

Hi PI experts!
We're facing a problem with our PI 7.0 system. After each restart of the system, all RFC sender communication channels do not work. When testing the connection in the sending SAP system, the connection test fails. Currently we workaround the issue by manually restarting the RFC adapter after system restart.
Does anybody has any idea how th fix that problem? <<text removed>>

Your problem is due to the fact that SAP is not up and running when XI restarts.
there is a parameter in RFC adapter that you can modify in order to fix that

Windows will not update after clean install

ok, I hope this isn't a common topic, I have searched everywhere for a solution. My laptop was slow, maybe infected with malware. I refreshed it and it wouldn't allow me to update and reinstall 8.1. So, I reset it. Still no updates. I got my hands on a windows 8 disk, formatted the drive and reinstalled windows. I still can't update, I have tried update troubleshooter and microsoft fix it. Neither worked, the updater searches and then says sometimes even update needs an update. So i've tried that. it happens often and it wont complete the updater update, even after troubleshooter claims it has fixed any errors. I got one error message earlier in week which I can't rememer. I searched out all the info and fixes on it and got nowhere. I gave up on fixing update and tried all the other installers I could find. The only one I could get to work was WSUS. I downloaded all the updates and installed them, in configuration there was an error and it removed all updates. I am losing my mind, this should be simple and has been going on for two weeks. Please help!

I understand that you are unable to update to Windows 8.1. You tried doing a refresh and reset but there was not change.
You then formatted the drive and installed Windows 8 from a Windows disk but again unable to update to Windows 8.1.
You have ran the troubleshooter and tried to update the updater to no avail.
As you did the last installation from a MIcrosoft disk, I suggest contacting MIcrosoft support for assistance or do a HP
recovery.
This Microsoft article may help you to overcome this issue. Installing the Windows 8.1 Update (KB 2919355).
There is a section on the bottom of the page for troubleshooting the installation.

If you formatted the entire drive when you did the Windows 8 installation from the disk you will no longer have the recovery partition and will need to do the recovery from CD/DVDs or USB key.

TR was not created after MIGO

Hi, experts
Sometimes after I did goods receipt with MIGO for purchsing order, the TR was not created by system. Normally after MIGO system create material document and TR at same time, then I use LT06 with reference the document no. place it to the storage bin.
But for this case, no TR generaged. I can only use LT10 /mvt999 to move them to the storage bin.
Can you please tell me the possible reason for this problem( TR not created)?

Can you please check what is the movement type being used ? If you were able to use LT06 in some cases means that most probably 101 is correctly defined in LE--> Interfaces --> Movement types to trigger the TR's.
1) however, if you are using / different movement type is being triggered and is not set up to create the TR.
2) If you see that the movement type is still 101, you could still be creating the TR's in the background, however, if you have a background job or some other transaction that is confirming the open TR's , this could be one of the reasons why you are not able to use LT06.
For this you can go to MIGO ( go to display tab for material document) , go to WM tab and find out the TR # there.
You can then go to LB03 and if you scroll to the right , you will find the TO # created.
Please go to LT21 and check who and how the TO is being created / confirmed, if thats something out of the process for you.

PR not created after creating 3rd Party Sales Order

We have 3rd Party Sales Order process. The Problem is, PR number is not generate after creating 3rd Party Sales Order.
the problem happen for particular customer only. I already check the credit limit and its okay.

If the PR is not getting created, please click on the Incompletion log in the SO to check for any missing data.
If it is complete use VKM3 transaction to check if the SO needs a credit release., if needed relase the SO and the PR will get generated.
Check if the material is maintained for purchasing or not.

PO not created after complete Approval of SC.

I am working with classic scenario with SRM 7.0.
I have an issue related to creation of PO at backend.
After complete approval of SC PO is not created in backend. The status of SC is showing as Approved.
There is no error in RZ20 or Application monitor.
Can you give some touch points where can I find some errors or reason for this.
Where can I check the PO create BAPI is called on approval of SC.
Please help me in this regard.

My keyboard does not work after cleaning :-(

Hello, I have a MacBook Pro (bought in december 2009) an now the keyboard does not work after I cleaned it. This was on thursday and today it still does not work. Any ideas?

Chances are that you've shorted the terminals on the keyboard, and will need to be replaced… When the keyboard on unibody MacBook Pro's is replaced the whole 'top case' will be done, trackpad etc… Now generally it is highly unlikely that the Liquid submersion indicators will have been activated unless the cloth was saturated with water. Also unless you purchased the AppleCare protection plan your MacBook will be out of warranty and will require an out of warranty repair.
From knowledge out of warranty repair for a top case assembly it's £163 and a level 2 hardware repair is £28

ITunes not responding after system restart

iTunes application not responding after restarting OS X on MacBook Pro Late 2010 Model. The problem first appeared in iTunes 11 on my OS X Mavericks & is persistent in iTunes 12 on OS X Yosemite every single time i restart i need to force quit & reopen iTunes. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.Mid

I have the same problem...downloaded latest iPod update, now icon hasn't returned to Itunes and nano is in what seems like permanent "Do Not Disconnect."

Knowledge modules files were not created after ODI installed

I installed ODI 10.1.3.5 on my Windows XP laptop and found that there are no Knowledge Module files in the directory ODI_HOME/oracledi/doc/km. Should these files be created after ODI installed or do we need to do something to create there KM files ? Appreciate if somebody can answer this ?

Are you talking about KM XML files ? If yes then these are located at ODI_HOME/oracledi/impexp
Under ODI_HOME\oracledi\doc\km you will get the PDF document about KM development guide .

COPA DOCUMENT NOT CREATED AFTER BILLING

COPA document is not created while doing the sale order cycle
Ive carried a standard sales cycle that contains sales order (VA01),
Delivery (VL01n) and billing document (VF01). System should generate 4
documents as follows
1) FI Document
2) CO Document
3) Profit Center Accounting Document
4) COPA Document
But in my case only 3 documents are generated instead of COPA.
I completed the total COPA configuration with creation of operating concern and assigned SD condition types. And also maintained number range for actual copa line items.
Fllowing things are done.
1) assignment of controlling area to Operating concern .
2) controlling area setting activate profitability analysis.
3)Valuation Strategies are assigned to the Points of Valuation in ke4u.
4)SD Quantity Field to a COPA Quantity Field (Normally FKIMG assigned to ABSMG).
when we excute the transcation KE4S system display the error Document "XXXXXXXXXX" is not profit-related and thus could not be transferred.
when we go back to the Billing Document in the Change mode, click on the PSG button in Account Assignment it is showing some characterstics also.

No PR is created after running MRP and we have a lot of requirements.

Kindly let me know have you check these 3 steps below for you
1) Requirement Planning for the corresponding plant must be activated in customizing for material management under consumption based planning -
>Planning------>Activate Material Requirement Planning
2)The Plant parameters for the corresponding plant must be activated in customizing for material management under consumption based planning->Plant Parameters-->Carryout overall maintenance of plant parameters
3) In the material master record, you have to maintain the MRP data of the materials that are subject to automatic plannning
Viz , MRP TYPE, MRP GROUP...Etc
If tthe above steps are ok then check the material master record of material of which MRP run is resulting in no Purchase requistion, Kindly check the MRP Views and see whether field of MRP Type is showing ND i.e. No Planning.
Change the same to consumption based planning and get your reults.

Broker does not reconnect after db restart

we have a enhanced cluster with two brokers running on solaris 10. the ha store is a oracle 10 db. after a db downtime of 10 minutes the cluster could not reconnect to the ha store. we have in the broker logs the following SQLExceptions. it was impossible to use any imqcmd. we had to terminate the two brokers. after starting them everything was running fine, no more exceptions. why do the brokers not reconnect after a db downtime?

Hi Tom,
near the end of the pasted exception it says: Closed Connection.
i think this is the cause of the failure. this is expected because the oracle data store is down. The problem is, that after the db was back online. the broker continued to throw the same exception. i expect, that the broker throws away the closed connections and reopens new ones to continue his work.

Promotion Condition (VKA0) Not Created after activation

Hi
We currently activate promotions using WAK5 and WAK16. On WAK5 you can see the status of the sales price condition is set at B, however the VKA0 condition is not created.
In the process we perform supply source determination 45 days before the promotion start date (this is done for F&R) and we activate the promotion 5 days before the start date (this is done for our POS system)
What could be the cause of the VKA0 condition not being created?
