Starting DevStudio ends in error message
Hello Experts
I'm working with the SAP Netweaver Developer Studio since the year 2005. We haven't made any changes to the configuration besides updating it to higher service pack levels, but we had no problems with that. Now the DevStudio does not startup anymore on my PC but it worked fine for month since the last configuration changes.
When I try to start it, I get a popup that says:
"Problems during startup. Check the ".log" file in the ".metadata" directory of your workspace."
When I look into the .log file I see this:

Hello again, this will be my final post in this thread.
I've now got the biggest part of my configuration back - the main thing was to set the dtc root folder to the correct directory.
I do not use the default setting for the dtc root folder, because that would be in my Windows user's profile which is synchronized with a domain server - and with a dtc folder which has a size of about 500 MB that takes some time when logging on or off.

Running on Windows XP SP3. No problem whatsoever before upgrading to 27. Sending this from Chrome as I cannot open Firefox at all.Thanks jschaer2000: after starting it once in safe mode, I closed Mozilla and tried several restarts in normal mode. So far, all worked:-)

Still the automatic update process bothers me: it took me several days to discover the reason to the malfunction, since when I removed the problematic version from Add and Remove Programs, I didn't pay attention at first that it was another version, not v26 which I installed from my folder.
In addition, I like to save the installation files before I run new programs and if I didn't have v26 exe file, I couldn't have operated Mozilla at all. Not that it was fun to remove and install again each time v27 didn't react, but it was better than nothing, I still prefer Mozilla over its competition. -
I am having problems with my outlook 2011. While i am able to check and SEND email on all my other devices ( Ipad, iphone, Macbook), I am unablesend any email with my iMac ( i can recieve email) . This problem started suddenly and the error message i get is error 5.7.8. I have read the threads on line and went into settings, even created a new profile, nothing helps...Please advice..is this something to do with my keychain Access?

I recently started to get an error message "MobileMe Services have stopped working". I use Vista. If I remove the MobileMe program, will it affect syncing with my iPhone or with Google Calendar?
No, just uninstall the MobileMe control panel. All Mobileme services have been discontinued, so the control panel is not doing you any good being in there at present.

I have started to get this error message: "5.1.3 bad address syntax" in my email account. I am using Outlook 2011. It does not appear to be affecting sending or receiving email. I have no idea what it means or how to resolve the issue. Any advice? My email account is through Optimum online and I am using Airpost Express.
P.S. The error sound "bong" is driving us nuts!Please post on the Office for Mac product forums that Microsoft hosts. It's their product and they can best troubleshoot the issue.

Temporarily disable any Anti-Virus and Firewall software on the computer. -
I installed Lightroom 5.6 (full version, not trial) on Mac, when starting I receive an error message "An error occurred while attempting to change modules".
I tried removing it and reinstalling but the same error comes up.
Anybody have any recommendations?A forum thread from 3 years ago talking about LR 1.x which had this problem seems to need permissions fixed or new folders created with the corrected permissions. You might try doing a repair permissions for your user and/or run LR as an administrator user. I am a PC person so cannot tell you exactly how to do that.

WE05 takes a long time and ended with error message: time out
Hello,
When user trying to use WE05 transaction it takes more time and ended with error message time out.In the WE05 tranaction even i tried with minimal search options(like for just 2hrs duration,for one day) still getting the same error.I think there must be problem in EDIDC table.
Please suggest solution for this????

Loki.You have to enter the selection ctiteria on WE05, might be there is a huge data on these tables. So the best option is to enter the selection criteria as much as you can to get the IDOC list. Also check the sie of EDIDC table and analyse the number of IDOC on that table. Make sure that index are updated of the table

How I start smart view without error message?
Hello,
we use Oracle Smart View 11.1.2.5.215 and Office Professional Plus 2010 SP 2.
The installation run in an AppV 4.5 SP 2 Environment.
Smart View starts with the following error message:
Failed to create Smart View Extension Activator object. Verifiy that it is registered properly (-2147221164)
We have the newest .NET installation and install the excel shared features.
Directly of the server Smart View starts correctly.
The message just appears when Smart View starts over the NetMan Applications Link (Citrix + AppV).
Please help!

Till now we have no solution. The oracle support can't help us
because we use AppV .
Use someone else Smart View in an AppV environment?

Firefox won't start, there is no error message and it is not already running.
Hi,
When I try to click on firefox, the little wait icon appears and then disappears. Nothing opens, not even safe mode. I've looked at the "Firefox won't start and there is no error message" help section and looked at my task manager processes. It seems that when I click firefox, it briefly appears on my processes and then disappears. This happened yesterday while I was in the middle of using it. At the same time, my Skype also crashed, which makes me think the two are correlated. The two programs still don't work. The only way that I can open firefox is if I install it all over again with the "launch firefox now" option checked at the end. When I have a firefox window open, I can open other firefox windows just fine. When I close it, nothing opens. Thanks for your help.1) Start Task Manager

Does iTunes.exe persist in the task manager or disappear again quickly. This can be a clue to the cause of the problem.
If iTunes persists this points to either firewall blocking or a damaged configuration file.
Try briefly turning off your firewall to see if iTunes will launch. Otherwise the link I will give at the end tells you how to delete the configuration file.
If iTunes doesn't appear or appears briefly and then disappears this may be a digital signing issue, also dealt with in the link.
It is a good idea to scan your PC for viruses and spyware, as malware can cause problems.

If the things I suggested above don't wiork, try working through the whole article.
All this is on the assumption that your Quicktime is working normally. I am a bit worried that you have been installing and uninstalling different versions, it just complicates the issue. -
Screen will start to pixelate and error message appears to restart
I have a iMac G5 17". It will boot up, apple start up screen, Mac OS X screen, and then finally Desktop. but about 20 seconds the screen will start to pixelate and kinda "wig out" then it will tint a dark grey and a error message in multiple languages will appear saying " Push the power button to restart". at this moment the screen is completely frozen. all I can do it power it off.
What could this be? Maybe a bad hard drive? Screen? Power source?Hi...
