Starting dgraphs with some buffer time

Hi Friends,
Can you please let us know is there a way to avoid search failures/downtime when baseline update is running.
We want to stop Dgraph2, like 1 minute after we ran start Dgraph1. Can you please help us how to implement this and also any potential issue with this approach?.
Please note that we have load balancer in place?

Presuming you are using the Deployment Template for your app, the App Configuration scripts are written in BeanShell script, there are tons of resources out there to help you for development.

For dealing with the load balancer, a good practice is to hook into the pre and post startup scripts for all of your dgraphs and add logic to tell the LB that a specifc Mdex is going off line, then back on-line. You can see this documented on page 41/42 in the above document.
I can't tell from your requirements that this is true, but you mention wanting to apply the index to Dgraph2 1 minute after Dgraph 1. That seems odd, seems like it should be fairly immediately after... Regardless, I would guess that modifying your pre/post processing logic to add a timeout would address this.

STP v2.01 quits at start up with some 3rd plug-ins that are ok with Logic.

Installed Logic Studio exactly two weeks ago. The main focus has been on Logic Pro.
Haven't used them yet, but MainStage, and WaveBurner open without any problems.
Today is the first time I tried to open SoundTrack Pro. It quit while scanning audio units plug-ins.
Out of desparation, I created an "unused components" file and dragged all AU plugs to this folder.
STP opened ok with just the Logic plug-ins.
So I started the process of systematically adding a few AU plugs back into the components folder. All PSP and RND plugs seemed ok with STP. Beyond that, I realized that some, but not all of the various others (UAD, TC PowerCore, etc) would work. I could spend all night driving myself crazy making a list of what does and does not work with STP.
All of my audio plugins work with Logic Pro 8, DP 5.1.2, and DSP-Quattro!
Please help.
I was hoping to use STP as my audio file mastering program.

Long story short.... the problem was TC Powercore plug-ins. In particular, the Assimilator.
I was able to gradually add back all AU plug-ins to the Components folder without any problems opening STP.
I hope this helps others.

We can say every project is a challenging one .... But one of the case i can explain is .........
We are getting monthly data from source , but we need maintain that data in ODS according to Weeks.
Example:
CompanyCode| Month | Key Figure

I have split the monthly records in to Weekly record when loading the data in to BW. This is done by selecting Return Table option in the update rules of a Key figure and a writing a start routine..........
Example:
ODS/Cube Data
CompanyCode | CalMonth | Week | KeyFigure
1000 | 200703 | 200709 |25
1000 | 200703 | 200710 |25
1000 | 200703 | 200711 |25
1000 | 200703 | 200712 |25

Some other challanges you can explain about are
Query Performance issues when go live and you can explain about maintaining aggregates, data load issues such as failing of delta in a process chain .........and how you resolved those issues.
One example is you can say Users want to see some special characters in the report and I used RSKC transaction to allow those special characters.........
Mostly this question is a general question and I hope you can get more real time scenarios from sdn.......

Macbook Pro dies with a whimper, but starts up with some jiggery-pokery

NOTE: SMC reset and PRAM/NVRAM reset were done.

I wonder if anyone can help me, please.
I just got my Macbook Pro back from a friend. Apparently it just spent two years in storage.
Here's the problem.
1) It will not start up normally. If I press the power button it will die with a whimper. That is, the Superdrive comes to life briefly, and then the whole machine dies with a 'fweep' sound after a second or two (longest it lasted was about 5 secs).
2) It will usually start up, and remain running reliably if I start by pressing and holding the power button for about five seconds.
3) It has given me a long POST beep, on three occasions, about two seconds long. Loud and piercing. When started up, however, there seem to be no RAM issues. It has not been a consistent issue.
4) After logging on, the clock will have been reset to Dec 31, 2000. This too is not consistent. It has on occasion remembered the correct date after a cold startup.
5) Computer's fans keep spinning, and running around 5900 RPM. This only started after I did an SMC reset and a PRAM reset. I did those resets in the same session, so it's now impossible which change screwed up the fans.
Though I must say, it does stay cool to the touch now, where before the machine was noisy, and at one time shut off unexpectedly (possibly due to heat?)
6) Sleep issues. After waking up from sleep, the machine will die with a whimper (same one as experienced on startup). The screen will come back , but then die suddenly a second later.
I have done a ton of research here and other boards, and no one seems to have the exact same issues I describe here, esp the computer's mysteriously booting up when pressing and holding the power button.
-I have done all the zaps and resets a person can do.
-I have reseated the RAM
-I have reconnected the KB/Trackpad, which had become disconnected owing to a third party's tinkering.
-The dying issues happen both with the battery in place or just on AC power. Also with battery full and on AC power. I have tried all permutations.
So with all this info, what else can it be? I will of course take it to the genius bar when I can, but being disabled I would love to be able to fix this at home, and order parts if necessary. But i am hoping I have overlooked something, and that someone here will know how to proceed.
Other pertinent info:
Macbook Pro 1150, 2.0 GHz. 2 GB RAM
200 MB harddrive.
Had its logic board replaced in the past, owing to issues with flickering screen. Hopefully it's not that.
If it is, it might still be worth buying a used board for $300 and doing the repair myself.
OK ladies and gentlemen, any ideas? Your help would be very much appreciated! I am glad to have this machine back and it would be a waste to just chuck it now!

I don't remember ever seeing anything against it in the TOUs, and I've never seen a pic/vid pulled which demonstrated an issue, so I wouldn't worry about it (but of course I have no say in the matter).

Hi，
So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers.
if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

Starting over with Time machine - as I have been doing it incorrectly

Hello all,
Got some great advice from other posts in this discussion, but I want to clarify a few things.
I started using Time Machine without really setting anything up, and have quickly gotten to about 128 gigs of backup (in a little over a week). I want to start again, and exclude some files (libraries, caches, mailboxes, applications) to see if I can get a more manageable back-up size. I am using the same external drive for back-up that I use to store Final Cut media, so I don't want Time Machine to fill it up. Although perhaps I don't want to use the same drive for media and back-ups...
Is there a way to limit the amount of space on a given disk that Time Machine can use? Perhaps by partitioning my external disk? (500gb WDMybook)
And, at this point can I simply delete all of the back-up folders that Time Machine has created, and start fresh (with my new exclusionary settings)? I have 98% of the data backed up to other sources.
Which brings me to my last question: If I regularly back up my home folder manually, and back my personal data & settings, my iLife & iTunes via Backup, do I really gain that much from using Time Machine? Don't get me wrong - it's elegant, and much easier than manually hunting down lost info, but I've lived without it for 20 odd years of computering...Opinions, anyone?
And does the list of exclusions below look like I'm missing anything important? I've gleaned these ideas from various posts; thought we'd all benefit from a little recap. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Please, weigh in, all of you macsperts..

I keep my entourage and Mail pretty well cleaned out. Not sure how to exclude spam folders, but I think I saw it in one of these posts.
I'm also not clear on where exactly my safari and firefox caches are, but I'll keep looking.

As a part reply, remember that Time Machine performs incremental backups so the only things really worth excluding are areas where large amounts of data change on a regular basis. Also, Time Machine culls its hourly backups down to, eventually, one per week and so files which were present for a short period only then deleted tend to drop out of the backup database over time. While there are some programs and activities which create large amounts of backup data, in general there is little reason to go to great lengths to exclude things, just make sure you've got a big enough backup drive to start with (at least double the amount of data you are backing up). If you have a problem with backup size it's either because Time Machine isn't working properly or, more likely, you have a particular program or activity that is creating huge backup overhead. Better to forensically track that down and exclude it.
In response to particular questions: you can certainly partition the backup drive to reserve part of it for other things and, if you have adequate other backup, the only reasons to use Time Machine would be the ease of finding individual files for recovery and the ability to recover things you recently deleted, maybe before your other backup strategy had saved them.

we have SSRS 2012 report integrated with SharePoint 2013 , when we click on any toggle item after some idle time of 60 secs and try again to expand
another toggle item then complete report is getting refreshed and if we are in child report it is redirecting to parent report. . we didn’t set any refreshing property at report level. I hope there will be some idle time setting at sharepoint site
level.
what we observed.
1. there is no problem when we expand toggle items without any idle time.
2. when we open the report and expand few toggles and keep idle for 60 seconds and try
again to expand another toggle item then complete report is getting refreshed (all toggle items are collapsing).
3. If you keep idle for 60 minutes and if you didn’t do any action like expanding toggle
items it is not refreshing.
why it is happening and how to stop that complete refresh.

I have tested on my local environment and the issue can be caused by the session time out ,the time out of the report precessing, database timeout,DataSet query execution timeout and so on.
I would like to confirm that the refresh you have mentioned is the page refresh or the report reloading?
Please reference to the setting below to don't limit the timeout values if you got the report reloading:
Point to a report in the library.
Click the down arrow, and select Manage processing options.
In Processing Time-out, select Do not time out report processing or
Limit report processing in seconds if you want to override that value with no time-out or different time-out values.
If you got the session timeout that refresh the page, please reference to the setting in below article:

I want to send the same message to Two receivers with the slight time difference.. becuase but not at the same time.. if the same time means.. just we can specify the two receivers in the one receiver determination..
but if i want to send the same message to Two reveivers with the time difference means..(after sending the message to first receiver.. after some time gap.. i need to send the message to second receiver..

Hi Jain,
With BPM you can easily do it.
i am giving you the steps:
1)first add a receive strep to get your message
2)then, put a receiver determination step with a multiline receiver container element assigned to its Receivers property.
3)then, put a block in dynamic mode(ie. ForEach/ParForEach mode) and assign the multiline receiver container element to its multiline element and assign a simple(single line) receiver container element to its current line property.
4) add a send step within the block, choose Receivers List in its Receiver From property and choose the current line receiver element in its Receivers property.
5) then add a wait step in the BPM, in its type select Wait Specified Time Period and then mention the duration in your desired time unit.

Some website opens automatically in a new tab with some time interval repeatedly

This happens only when the firefox window is active or open. When the window is minimized no new tabs open. But once I switch to firefox new tab opens immediately with the same page as mentioned above.
