Starting the debugger in a modal screen

Usually in ABAP, when you want to start the debugger from a certain point, you just have to write "/H" in the
command window. But if you are in a modal screen or in a message display, you cannot write the traditional "/H".
There is a procedure given in ABAP FAQs in this site ( https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/840ad679-0601-0010-cd8e-9989fd650822 ) to do start debugger from a modal screen.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Open notepad and paste these lines in a document : [FUNCTION] Command=/H Title=Debugger Type=SystemCommand
2. Save this document anywhere on your local pc. ex: c: reakpoint.txt
3. Drag&drop this file from the explorer to your ABAP modal screen.... et voila !!
However, when I try these steps, the debugger would not start. If anyone knows how it is done, please let me know.

As you mentioned In the notepad take the below lines.
<b>[FUNCTION]
Command=/H
Title=Debugger
Type=SystemCommand</b>
Save it as a text file.
In the popup window just drag the text file.
automatically debugging will start.

And then drag and drop it to the modal screen. How come it doesn't work for me. It just goes to the next screen.

Hi Yun,
You can use "GENERATE A SHORTCUT" option in the application tool bar of the SAP Easy Access.
Press "GENERATE A SHORTCUT"->A "New SAP GUI Shortcut" dialog window will be displayed -> then in the "APPLICATION" area choose TYPE as "System Command"-> then COMMAND as "/H". ->Then in the "Start Options" give the working directory as desk top.
Now a shortcut will be placed on the desk top. Now you can drag drop this on to any dialog window to debug.

Unable to start the debugger, HELP!!!

When I try to start debugger on the project in Java Studio Creator 2 U1, I am getting the below error. I even tried adding the path of JRE in PATH env variable with no effect. OS used is Windows XP SP2.
Note that I am able to run the program successfully. Problem is only with starting the debugger.

Hi,
It helps to clean build project, delete .Creator folder in C\users\myname\ and reset server and redeploy to see any runtime errors in your project. Have you made any changes to .xml file( it may give unexpected results)?.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

Starting the debugger for iOS AIR development?

I'm new to iOS development using Flash (I've been using FlashDevelop). In FD, you just target the debugger, and the debugger launches and waits for th,e app to connect. In Flash you launch the app and it asks for an IP address. Even if I provide my computer's IP address, there doesn't seem to be a debugger on the Flash side listening for the iOS device. How do I make sure the debugger launches?

Don't use Publish - even if you set the publish settings to one of the debug options, you still have to Debug the app (CTRL+SHIFT+Enter) in order to actually invoke the debugger so that the app can connect to it.
The good news is that once you have set your Debug preference (by manually using the Debug Menu and choosing debug on device), Flash remembers this setting, and you can then just CTRL+SHIFT+Enter your way to happiness.
One other observation is that your AIR Publish settings DO make a difference in terms of the compilation method - you can choose the JIT interpreter mode for faster installation, or the full packaging mode for a more comprehensive test, and the Debug / Test app settings will honour that selection.

The debugger agent is not enabled on server....

We have to weblogic instances and IDM is deployed in both these instances.
When I am trying to start the debugger on server1 I do get this error:
+'The debugger agent is not enable on server2: To enable, please set the SystemConfiguration property serversettings.server2(or default).debugger.enabled=true and restart your application server.+
I have checked and modifed the sys.config object in both the instances and restarted the server instances on both but still the error persisted.
Am I missing anything here?

If there is no loading bar, it's usually a problem with a third party kext file in OS X itself.
You can press the power button down to force a hardware shutdown, then reboot holding the shift key down on a wired or built in keyboard, this will disable them and you go around and update your third party software.
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
Also take this time to backup your users files off the machine if possible.

I have a 14.88G iPod Nano that I currently use as my primary watch. A week or so ago I started to experience a blank white screen when I press the "sleep/wake" button instead of the watch face (I have it set to wake from sleep to display the clock). When I hard reset it, it will come back fine and the screen will respond and work as normal, as soon as I manually put it to sleep by pressing the "sleep/wake" button and then try to wake it the same thing happens and I have a blank white screen that doesn't respond to touch gestures or anything.
What I have tried so far to no avail:
Numerous hard restarts (holding the "sleep/wake" button with the volume - button).
Tried this: iPod nano (6th generation): Hardware troubleshooting
Changed the watch face to display.
Recharged the device overnight (without full discharge).
Since none of this works I'm out of ideas. Eventhough I have a 6G Nano it should no longer be under warranty since I was sent it as a replacement for a different (older) product.
Any ideas? Is this a known problem? Thanks in advance for any insight any of you could provide. Also, what time is it??

I have the exact same problem as you have described. I also used my ipod as a watch but starting from today, whenever I unlock it the screen turns white until a reset is done. Even a factory reset through itunes didn't fix it.

Setting up Debugging for Integrated ITS
Tcode SICF.
Select service (e.g. default_hostàbcàguiàsapàitsàbbpsc01).
Change service settings and insert parameter ~GENERATEDYNDPRO=1.
Find program to debug. E.g. SE93. Enter bbpsc01 à Display and get Program field (SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS)
Execute SE38 and enter program name.
Turn HTTP Debugging ON. UtilitiesàSettingsàDebugging. Click Actv and username.
Add HTTP Breakpoint. Display source code and select Utilitiesàbreakpointsàset.
On External Debugging select HTTP Breakpoint.
Remember to remove breakpoints, deactivate debugging and remove parameter GENERATEDYNPRO.
Can run program RSBREAKPOINTS to find which programs you have breakpoints set in.

Sounds as if you're having a problem with your GPU (graphics card). Only Apple can diagnose and fix this, so the best thing would be to take your machine into your local Apple Store or an AASP.
