Statement/aging

We are on 2005 and I am currently re-writing the aging and statement report, our customers are used to seeing only the open invoices on statements and the built in statement report shows everything- and the aging shows full invoice amounts for invoices that have been partially paid and that confuses our collections/AR people as they are used to only seeing open amounts.
My question is, has this changed at all in 2007?
Also there is no service charge built into statements, so since I am doing a custom statement I will have to pull dunning info from the tables, has this been integrated at all in 2007? Thanks!
CH

Chris,
I don't think dunning charges have been added to the Customer Aging in 2007.  But I wish to differ from you in your statement that the Aging shows all Invoices.
Infact if the payment has been posted on an Invoice, then only the balance due amount show on the Aging and also the statements.
I am not sure if the payments you are talking about have been received against the invoice or they are payments on account for that BP.
Also, run your Aging reports By Sales documents.

  • Customer Statement Ageing

    Hi all expert, currently i have a Debit, Credit and Balance in Customer Statement.
    How to create an ageging base on these amount? Have anyone tried before?
    Could you please brief me.
    Thanks
    Regards,
    Danny

    Hi,
    You are trying to count the invoice totals for Age 30 to 60, 61 to 90 and 90+,
    Count the total payment for invoice no yet paid based on current month, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, and 90+
    so for example
    for the month of August + September, whatever invoice total was you want it to be displayed.
    Yes, but it is based on customer balance.
    If August produced 30, and September produced 40 then total for 30 to 60 would be 70?
    NO.Let say Ageing Date is 31 OCT (always end month, user can select), 31-60 would be 40, 61-90 would be 30
    Is that what you are trying to get at? If yes then have you setup calculating formulas yet?
    No really. I have tried below statement, but no luck.
    @Current
    If {TABLE.PostingDate} In Aged0To30Days Then
    {TABLE.Amount};
    @Over30Days
    If {TABLE.PostingDate} In Aged31To60Days Then
    {TABLE.Amount};
    @Over60Days
    If {TABLE.PostingDate} In Aged61To90Days Then
    {TABLE.Amount};
    @Over90Days
    If {TABLE.PostingDate} In Over90Days Then
    {TABLE.Amount};

  • Document Date on Outgoing Payment/Statement Report PLD

    Hi,
    Is there a way to display the Document Date of the paid/outstanding invoice on the print layout for Remittances (Outgoing Payment) and Customer Statement (Ageing - Customer Statement Report)? At the moment it's only the Posting Date for the Outgoing Payment and Posting Date + Due Date for the Statement Report but would be great to have the Document Date too.
    Regards,
    Nat

    Hi Natalia,
    for adding the Document date to the Outgoing payments form you can add field via modification of the print layout. For example OVTG.Tax Date should represent the document date.
    I would like to know what is the scenario for the document date to be visible on the Aging report.

    Dear experts,
    awrsqrpt.sql is showing multiple executions plans for a single SQL statement. How is it possible that one SQL statement will have multiple Executions Plans within the same AWR report.If you're using bind variables and you've histograms on your columns which can be created by default in 10g due to the "SIZE AUTO" default "method_opt" parameter of DBMS_STATS.GATHER__STATS it is quite normal that you get different execution plans for the same SQL statement. Depending on the values passed when the statement is hard parsed (this feature is called "bind variable peeking" and enabled by default since 9i) an execution plan is determined and re-used for all further executions of the same "shared" SQL statement.
    If now your statement ages out of the shared pool or is invalidated due to some DDL or statistics gathering activity it will be re-parsed and again the values passed in that particular moment will determine the execution plan. If you have skewed data distribution and a histogram in place that reflects that skewness you might get different execution plans depending on the actual values used.
    Since this "flip-flop" behaviour can sometimes be counter-productive if you're unlucky and the values used to hard parse the statement leading to a plan that is unsuitable for the majority of values used afterwards, 11g introduced the "adaptive" cursor sharing that attempts to detect such a situation and can automatically re-evaluate the execution plan of the statement.

  • Age of my Mac

    Hi all,
    I got my MBP somewhere in May 2010, but Coconut battery state age of my Mac as 130 months. Could my unit be an old one? Do i have a case for concern?

    Considering that there weren't any of those units 10 years and 10 months ago the reading is obviously wrong. Have you updated to the latest version of Coconut battery?

  • Coherence query language - QueryBuilder API

    Hi ,
    does anyone know , in which package the ' QueryBuilder' class resides ?

    charlie ,
    am not sure that , whether there is a QueryBuilder API or not . I am looking for a API , which can convert the
    sql query " select homeAddress.state, age, count() from "ContactInfoCache" group by homeAddress.state, age " into coherence specific query language .
    In short , I just want to extract a particular attribute from the value object , not the whole value object.

  • Query that only returns certain fields in Java

    Currently I'm using a filter that identifies some keys, I then get all the keys and get a single value from each object. The rest of the object is quite large. I've seen references in passing on the ability to do this, using CohQL but I can't get it to work from Java.
    Basically, I want to do: "Select field from "Cache" where key='asdf'". I just want to get back the specific "field" rather than the whole object. How do I do this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    It should be easy if your object has a getField() accessor. Hope this helps ...
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15357_01/coh.360/e15723/api_cq.htm#CEGDIJEC
    Using Path-Expressions
    One of the main building blocks of CohQL are path-expressions. Path expressions are used to navigate through a graph of object instances. An identifier in a path expression is used to represent a property in the Java Bean sense. It is backed by a ReflectionExtractor that is created by prepending a get and capitalizing the first letter. Elements are separated by the "dot" (.) character, that represents object traversal. For example the following path expression is used to navigate an object structure:
    a.b.c
    It reflectively invokes these methods:
    getA().getB().getC()
    For example ...
    Select the home state and age of employees in the cache ContactInfoCache, and group by state and age.
    select homeAddress.state, age, count() from "ContactInfoCache" group by homeAddress.state, age

  • Can't deploy a model that includes a service

    I'm using flashbuilder 4.5.1 & lcds 3.1 and I'm trying to deploy a model that includes a service something like this:
    <service name="Zoo">
            <annotation name="ActionScriptGeneration">
                <item name="ServiceType">RemoteObject</item>
            </annotation>
            <function name="scoop" return-type="void">
             <parameter name="animal" type="opaque"/>
            </function>
        </service>
    When I try to deploy it I get this lcds error about expecting an annotation.  I've successfully used this capability in the past, any suggestions or workarounds?
    thanks in advance

    Rohit,
    Thank you very much for the explanation.
    By the way, the Flash Builder 4.5  Data Model perspective displays the following when you hover over a <function…> tag and appears to be in error. See text in red below.
    Defines the prototype of an externally defined function within a service.
    For information about functions, including how to add them in Design mode, see Add service functions. Can
    appear
    A function element can only appear as an immediate child of a service element. Attributes
    Attribute
    Req/Opt
    Default
    Description
    name
    Required
    Specifies the function name.
    arguments (deprecated)
    Optional
    Note: The arguments attribute is deprecated in LiveCycle Data Services 4.5. For prolonged support an d
    augmented functionality, use the parameters attribute.
    Specifies the names and types of the function’s arguments. If present, the value specified for arguments
    takes the form name:type, where name and type denote argument names and types, respectively.
    Names must be valid data model language names, and types must be valid data model language type
    expressions
    Instead of an arguments attribute, you can use child parameter elements. If you use parameter elements,
    you cannot include the arguments attribute.
    parameters
    Optional
    Specifies the names and types of the function arguments. A missing parameters attribute indicates that the
    function takes zero arguments.
    If present, the value specified for arguments takes the form name:type[=default], where name , type, and
    default denote parameter names and types, and default values respectively. The name and type are required.
    The default value is optional.
    Separate mutliple parameters with commas.
    Default values can be literal values or expressions.
    Names must be valid data model language names, and types must be valid data model language type
    expressions.
    Instead of a parameters attribute, you can use child parameter elements. If you use parameter elements, you
    cannot include the parameter attribute.
    return-type
    Optional
    Specifies the return type of the function.
    You must specify the type of data that is returned. However, the attribute is optional because you can use a
    child return-type element instead. Child elements
    A function element can contain zero or more annotation and parameter elements, and zero or one return-
    type elements. Example
    The data model in the following example contains a service with two functions, both of which are called
    from expressions in properties of an entity. <model xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/Fiber/1.0">
        <entity name="Applicant" persistent="true">
            <property name="name" type="string"/>
            <property name="ssn" type="string"/>
            <property name="age" type="integer"/>
            <property name="state" type="string"/>
            <property name="score" expr="CreditScore.getCreditScore(ssn)"/>
            <property name="risk" expr="CreditScore.getRisk(state, age, score)"/>
            <id name="id" type="integer"/>
        </entity>
        <service name="CreditScore">
            <function name="getCreditScore" parameters="ssn:string" return-type="integer"/>
            <function name="getRisk" parameters="state:string, age:integer,
                 score:integer" return-type="integer"/>
        </service>
    </model> <
    Maybe you can pass this info along so it gets fixed on the next Data Model plugin release…
    Thanks,
    Oscar

  • Command Add slows processing

    Post Author: pattyg
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hello,
    I wrote a report using Crystal Report XI that uses 10 command add statements.  The reason I did this is because
    all the data  that I need for the report is in one data memo field, i.e. (fname, lname, birthday,city, state, zip,). I created
    a Command Add for each one.  Example:  select uid, fid,cast(value as char(20)) as 'First Name'.
                                                                   from profile_values where profile_values.fid = 'XX'.
    All the data in the value data field corresponds to a number in another data table called profile_values.fid.
    This slows the processing time down significantly.  A report that process about 5,000 records takes about 5 minutes.
    Any suggestions on how to speed up processing?
    Thanks,
    Pattyg

    I will take your suggestion and add a parameter to them.  The only problem I'm having now is trying to add the paramters.  Here is the add command
    for City.   select uid,fid, cast(value as char (20)) as 'City'              from profile_values             where profile_values.fid=16
    When I edit the command to create the paramater, it is not added to the parameter list in the field explorer. The parameter  I want to add is called
    'City'  and I want to do the same for add command 'State', 'Age', etc.

  • Pass Variables into Flash from URL

    I have a real simple request for some reason cannot pull it
    off. I have a url that looks like this:
    http://mywebserver/directory1/directory2/webpage.html?name=Mark
    I am trying to pull the variable "mark" into a swf. The URL
    will change depedning on the user and I plan on adding additional
    variables as well (lastname, state, age, etc).
    Easy answer to this? If so, please excuse my ignorance. I use
    actionscript 2 but would consider myelf a novice as I am more into
    design.

    Using FlashVars would work, as would SWFObject - which is
    what I'd use. Glad
    yout got it though.

  • FI -Account Statement and Aging calculation

    Hi all,
      I need to develop an account statement for customer open items (FI)  in smartform and also need to do the aging calculation at the end of main window ....for the days like 30,60,90,120,150,and grtthan 150 which is given at selection screen....pls help in this regard
    thanx
    suresh

    Hi,
    Open Items cannot be archived in SAP even if has met Document/Account Life.
    Items in BSIS, BSAS & BSID are all open items.
    1) Identify all open-item managed accounts
    2) Check which accounts have automatic clearing through SE16 BSIS table
    3) DISCUSS and AGREE WITH THE FINANCE TEAM which of these accounts need to be open-item managed. Those that do not have to be OIM can be changed in MASS transaction
    4) Block the accounts that need to be changed to non-OIM
    5) Run a COPY of RFSEPA03 (of course you have to do testing first). This program changes the status to non-OIM in the master data and line item tables. You have to do this for each combination of company code and GL account. If you have a lot of combinations, I suggest creating an ABAP program to "loop" the program. The combinations can be read from a flat file. Run-time depends on the number of line items that need to be changed
    6) Test the accounts for archive eligibility
    7) Unblock the accounts if everything is ok
    This is safer than clearing. As someone mentioned earlier, you have to be careful with clearing. The same with resetting clearing.
    Also, changing an account to set OIM active is very complicated. It involves reloading archived data and could result in huge problems later on. Your totals may not match with line items. This can be accomplished through a copy of RFSEPA02. SAP suggests that you create a new account instead. Knowing this, you MUST be certain that the accounts you change to non-OIM remain OIM.
    For aging Calculation:
    use the function module to get the customer open items....from BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS Function module.... after fetching the data from the bapi,
    .-> read the internal table values and move to the local internal table. and prepare the final table.
    .-> as asking aging 30,60,90,120,150,and GT 150 ... declare parameters and also declare the similar fields in form interface in the smartform...
    .-> And pass these parameter fields VIA smartform function module....
    .-> so now ur values are availble in smartform ....just arrange as per need....
    if you still not clear plz feel free to contact me......

  • AR - Customer Statement - differences when compared with the Aging report

    I am running the customer statement (the Print Statement program) 'as of date' say 11-Jun-09, and found that the 'Total Amount Due' for a customer is not agreeing back to the balance displayed on the Aging Screen (Navigation: Collections -> Customer Accounts [Aging butto]) for the customer.
    The 'Total Amount Due' on the statement is greater than the balance on the aging report/screen.
    It appears that the statement is selecting more receivables transactions (invoices, credit note, payments etc...) than the aging report is looking at. Also the aging buckets on the statement does not tie back to that on the aging screen /report for example the '4 Bucket Aging Report'.
    My questions are:
    1, Is it possible for the 'Total Amout Due' on the statement to differ from the balance on the aging report/screen?
    2, What factors or reasons might cause the above senario to occur?
    3, How can one start to investigate this in order to account for such differences?
    Ideally what I would like to do is run a sql script that will show what is being selected for the statement 'as of' a particular date for a customer, and another sql that will show the same customer account balance and aging buckets at the same 'as of' date.
    And perhaps another sql that would show the same customer open receivable transactions.
    Thanks.

    Hello.
    This query will show you the customer open receivable transactions:
    select c.customer_name,
    decode(ps.class, 'PMT', 'Payment', 'INV', 'Invoice', 'DM', 'Debit Memo', 'CM', 'Credit Memo') Type,
    ps.trx_number,
    ps.trx_date "Inv Date",
    ps.due_date "Due Date",
    ps.acctd_amount_due_remaining "Amount Remaining"
    from ar_payment_schedules_all ps,
    ra_customers c
    where c.customer_id = ps.customer_id
    and ps.status = 'OP'
    and ps.org_id = &orgID
    and c.customer_number = &CustNumber
