Static credit check

Hi,
While configuring automatic credit control, system is not calculating the value of open order/ deliveries. It is only calculating the customer balance and compares with that of the customer credit master. System is not showing the value of open orders/ deliveries in FD32 even though there are some open orders for that customer. It says "no data exist for this selection".
I have ticked the open order and deliveries in configuration for automatic credit control but still I am not able to fix the problem.
Can some one help me?
Karthik

I tried but no help.
When you go to VA05, it shows the open sales orders for the customer
for the same customer, open sale order value is zero in FD32. I ahve maintained risk category in FD32 and the credit amount for the credit control area.
Is there any program need to be activated?

  • Static credit check: credit limit exceeded for consignment issue delivery

    Hi,
We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
In SPRO config "Credit limit check for order types", no credit limit check is assigned to the order type. However, there is one assigned for the delivery type. Also, for CCAr/Risk cat./CG combination in OVA8 (Auto Credit Block Delivery), static credit check has been activated with error message reaction. Open orders and open deliveries were also activated. Customer exceeded credit exposure but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Given that this is the current setup, and the following conditions:
    1. Credit limit for the customer cannot be increased
    2. Oldest open item cannot be cleared just yet
Is there any way that we can proceed with delivery creation for this customer? The other order types have credit limit check so credit management team was able to release them. However, we are unsure on how to proceed with this consignment order. Kindly advise and thank you in advance for your help.

We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Looks contradictory and it may need to run report RVKRED77 to reorganization of open credit values. Try to run the report in test system and then run in production system. After running the report, the use must be able to release in VKM* transaction.

  • Confirmed quantity in static credit check in sales order

what our requirement is ...we have a static credit check activated.
while creating the sales order when ever the customer exceeds the credit limit the check will be activated and the order is blocked with 0 confirmed quantity.
but we want the confirmed quantity should come as the that of standard order irrespective of credit block.we need the confirmed as well as block should also be there , so tell us is there any settings in the configuration need to be done to acheive this.

    Hi,
As  per my understanding  u need use routine.
    please read this:example of routine.
User requirement for confirmation of quantities in availability check
This is an example of a subsequent function requirement.  If this
requirement is met, then the system will confirm quantities for the
sales document line item.  If not, then no quantities will be confirmed.
ATP requirements, however, will still be passed to planning.  This is an
example of a user requirement to determine if the confirmed quantities
should be set to zero or not.  A user requirement would run after the
system requirement '1' for confirmed ATP quantities.   The sample
requirement '101' adds the additional requirement that confirmed
quantities should be set to zero if the credit block is set.

  • Static Credit Checks - Open orders - Confirmed quantity vs total quantity

We are using static credit checks. Credit currently only sees open orders with a confirmed quanitity.
Customer orders 10 items we have 5 in stock. Credit check runs, credit is evaluated basd on the confirmed open quanitity of 5. The order gets a credit block. Credit rep releases the order.
A few days later the balance of the order arrives in the warehouse. The remaining 5 are confirmed on the order. Since the confirmed quantity has been increased and subsequently the confirmed open value, the order goes back to credit.
We frequently encounter this situatuion and are looking for ways to reduce the number of credit round trips.
If we wanted to base the credit check on the total quantity / order value, as opposed to the confirmed quantity / value what do we need to change.
    Insights are appreciated.

    Hi cann
As you are going with static credit checks, system will check the order and if it exceeds it will throw an message (error , warning )
Now again , if you create another sales order , that value will not be taken into consideration , system again will check for the credit limit amount
    For example :
    credit limit - 10000
    sales orders - 1010, 1011
    1010 sales order value - 11000
    1011 sales order value - 10500
Now when you create a sales order system will check the credit limit 10000. and once you save it and create another sales order (1011), again system will check for the same credit limit 10000.
The credit limit gets reset  once the order is saved ,in static check
Now any open quantities are there means and when it gets confirmed then system will check for those open quantity also
To minimize all these use dynamic credit check

  • Sales order- Warning msg Static credit check

    Hi, SAP Guru,
When I create a order & saving it ...a POP UP comes with warning msg the static credit limit exceeds..... Can any one please let me know the how I can remove the warning POP UP . As client do not want any pop up should come while saving the order.
    Please help.
    Thx & regards

    Hi,
If you remove the entry from the field "Check credit" in "OVAK" T.Code, the credit check will not happen for this order type.Which we don't want.
We need that the credit check should happen but the pop-up is to be removed.right?
For this goto the T.Code "OVA8".
    Select your valid entry.Details.
Remove the value as "blank" for the field "Reaction".Press F4 for more options.
Beside this there is one more field "status/block" which is ticked means the order will be blocked for further transactions. And also status will be updated accordingly.
These blocked order have to be released either by using the T.Code "VKM3/VKM1".

    Krishna.

  • Static Credit check at Sales Order for confirmed quantity only.

    Dear All,
I am facing two problems and would really appreciate if you could give some inputs on it.
If a SO is of 100 tons and the confirmed quantity is 10 tons then the credit check is happening  for the value of confirmed quantity only as per the requirement.
    1. But after releasing the SO using VKM3 I have to carry availability check again in the sales order as the confirmed quantity is becoming zero. Pls tell me how to control this, the confirmed qty should not change.
    2. If I increase the confirmed quantity to more than 10 still the system is allowing me to create the delivery without blocking for credit check again as I had released the SO credit for value of 10 tons goods only .
    Regards,
    Abhilash

    HI,
    1) T-code OV27- You have not maintained confimation block here.
    2) T-code OVA8- Select the  credit settings and double click it.You get Display View "View for maintenance of automatic credit control" .
Maintain the deviation in "released documents still unchecked" section.
    Thanks,

  • Credit Management: Difference Between Static and Dynamic Credit Check

    Hi,
Could anyone tell the difference Between Static and Dynamic Credit Check?
According to website: http://www.sap-basis-abap.com/sd/difference-between-static-and-dynamic-credit-check.htm ... this is the answer:
    ====================
    Simple Credit Check : Tr.Code - FD32
It Considers the Doc.Value + Open Items.
Doc.Value : Sales Order Has been saved but not delivered
Open Item : Sales Order has been saved , Delivered, Billed & Transfered to FI, but not received the payment from the customer.
Static Credit Check it checks all these doc value & check with the credit limit
    1) Open Doc.Value / Sales Order Value : Which is save but not delievered
    2) Open Delivery Doc.Value : Which is delivered but not billed
    3) Open Billing Doc.Value : Which is billed but not posted to FI
    4) Open Item : Which is transfered to FI but not received from the customer.
Dynamic Credit Check         1) Open Doc
                                                2) Open Delivery
                                                3) Open Billing
                                                4) Open Items
                                                5) Horizon Period = Eg.3Months
Here the System will not consider the above 1, 2, 3 & 4 values for the lost 3 months.
    ====================
Question 1: Could you further explain the above information, if there is any?
Question 2:: What is the Tcode to customize settings of:
    a) Simple Credit Check (isn't this same with b) below?)
    b) Static Credit Check
    c) Dynamic Credit Check

    Hi Tanish,
Diff between Static and Dynamic Filters.
    Example One at report Level.
Create a variable for a Infoobject say ,Material .
1)In the Query Designer and if u restrict it to some 10 materials at query level, the report will display for only those 10 materials only. This is Static Filter.UR AHrdcoding it to those materials. You cant change them at Query Run time.i.e not changeable by user.
2)If u give the variable as input ,and when u run the query ,u can can choose the material, may 10 may be 1 or may 20 .It is dynamic.Changeable by user at run time
Example Two at DTP and Start Routine Level, say Document Type.
1)If u give filters in Start routine it is Static as u cannot change it in Production, not changeable by user.
2)f u give filters in DTP it is Dyanamic as u can change it in Production.U can give any doc type,Changeable by user at run time.
    Hope it is Understood.

  • Static Credit Limit Check for Sales Orders - Net Value vs Credit Value

We are testing order credit check and we have run into a problem with the Static Credit Limit Check.  The Static Credit Limit Check is set to use both Order and Delivery Values.  SAP uses the values in S066 and S067 to determine what values it uses to check against the credit limit.  Standard SAP uses the confirmed quantity times the credit price to get the order values - this is the credit value.
So the problem is, once an order is released it is set up so it does not go back on credit hold, so anything which is not confirmed (but could be) it a potential credit value which is unaccounted for in the credit exposure and the customer can go over the credit limit.
Additionally, we run AFS and have items which are rejected with a J0 rejection code (unconfirmed) which have the potential of being confirmed and shipped and we want to include these items in the value of the order which is being checked against the credit limit (along with the deliveries, invoices and receivables).
    Here is a quick example.
Customer has a credit limit of $100 (no deliveries, invoices or receivables - to keep it simple)
Order 1 is placed with a credit value of $50.00 but a potential value of $100 (the other half is J0) - this passes the credit check since $50.00 is less than the limit.
Order 2 is placed for $50.00 and has a credit value of $50.  This also gets approved.
At this point, the credit limit used is 100% (based on standard SAP)
Then Order1 backorder is confirmed and the new credit value is now $100.  This order now puts the customer over their limit and if the order had been released would not go back on credit hold and therefore the customer is not over their credit limit by 50%.
What I want is for Order1 to be credit checked for the $100 not the $50 so the exposure is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could use the Net Value of the order to perform the static credit check?  And any thoughts on how to determine the correct credit exposure (open order value plus items which are J0, plus deliveries, plus invoices, plus receivables)?
I am thinking about a Z table to track the adjusted values on the orders and then use one of the customer checks to do a static credit check with the adjusted value.  And for the exposure, use the adjusted value to recalculate the values in F.35 to show a more accurate view of the credit exposure.
Does anyone have an easier way to do this?  Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    Hi Suzzane,
In the scenario that you have provided, in the first order items worth 50$ are rejected. Hence standard SAP will not take this into account as this item is rejected. Two solutions can be provided here:
    1) The line item can have a delivery block instead of  a reason for rejection. This way the 50$ will get accounted. However, if this is against customer norms as this will appear in the order acknowledgment, this cannot be used.
    2) User exit can be used where a credit check can be triggered once the document value changes, even though the document has a released status.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Vinu

  • Sales order exit to bypass credit check

    Hi ,
AS IS : if the customer exceeds the credit exposure a pop up for static credit check comes while saving the order  and the order gets blocked , and every time it has to be unblocked manually.
To BE : Our client wants that Credit check should only happen when the customer is changing the quantity field of the order and should not get blocked every time when he is making any other change in the order and saving it .
Please help me with this: Is this feasible ? If yes then how can I do this is, any Exit /Badi where I can actually change the way this functionality work by SAP .
    Thanks in advance
    Gaurav Deep

Well, yes, it's possible.  Have you reviewed the documentation in the IMG, both the basic configuration section as well as the section on credit management user exits?

  • Ignore Open orders in Credit Check

    Dear All,
As you are aware of that in the Static Credit Limit Check
The credit exposure is the total combined value of the following documents:
    - Open orders
    - Open deliveries
    - Open billing documents
    - Receivables
The requirement is  to exclude Open orders for specific risk category and consider only New Orders + the other open documents to calculate and check for credit limit. How can i achieve this. Please advice.
Note :-Open Orders Check in OVA8 does not help to fix this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vikas

    Hi ChandraSekhar,
If the customer have Credit limit of 50000 USD & old Open Orders value is 40000, Now if CSR enters new Order of 20000 USD , Then System should not throw message that Customers Static credit check: credit limit exceeded by 10000 USD ;Instead it shoud Ignore Old Open Sales order Value (40000 USD) & system should Consider & calculate only New Order Value (20000USD).
    Hope I am Clear?
    How can we Achieve this?
    Regards,
    Vikas

  • Not allow credit check

    Hi,
I have a scenario wherein we want to configure credit check at sales order level to not happen on sales order creation level, although there may be blocked sales order/delivery for same customer.
Eg: Credit limit for X is set as 100/-
Total value of open sales orders for X = 20/-
Total value of blocked orders (excl of open orders) for X = 250/-
Requirement is to configure credit check to not consider blocked orders and not give message of static credit check on creating any new sales order for X.
    Is this possible? How?

    Hi ,
You may skip the Credit Check at the Sales Order level  and check at the Delivery Order Level by changing the risk category of the Customer in Credit Management(TC  FD32) from 01 (CR Check: SO Level ) to 02(CR Check :DO Level).
Risk categories may be congifgured based on the business scenario in SPRO-->Financial Accounting > Accounts Recievable&Accounts Payable> Credit Management--> Define Risk Categories.
The credit risk categories control at which level the credit check needs to be done.

  • Problem with document going back into credit check

    Hi Gurus,
I have a scenario where the document that is released from credit check is coming back into credit check before the stipulated time.
    Further information:
    1. OVA8 for the particular credit control area and risk category has the settings as follows:
            a. Released documents are still unchecked: Deviation is blank and number of days = 30
            b. Checks:  Static credit check is enabled and includes open orders and open deliveries, Max.doc.value, number of days
                 are blank,
    2. Value of the document is not increased and the dates are not advanced however there is a open delivery and the value of the SO + Open delivery would increase the Limit set for the customer..
But my question is once the SO is released through VKM3 why is it coming back into static credit check.. Request your inputs.
    regards
    Joseph

    Hi Arun,
CHECK_CM program had thrown up one message that i need to check for the infostructures 0066 and 0067 in the transaction code MCVR and there the message it shows both these infostructures is that there is no updating!! by the way update group is 12. Am i missing something here?
As suggested by you i checked up the change document status wherein it shows that the requested delivery date & billing date have been changed and that time matches the time at which the SO went back into the credit check...The question that lingers on is why did it get into credit check and the details are as follows:
    Document creation date: 21.09.2010,
Date of moving into credit check 1st time: 21.09.2010
Date of release of credit check: 27.09.2010 @ around 10.35am
Date of changes to the dates: 27.09.2010 @ 11.35 am
Date on which document came back into credit check: 27.09.2010 @11.35 am
In OVA8 it is configured as " 30 days" under released documents are still unchecked and since no changes were made to the invoice value, critical fields, next review date are not checked.. the document should've come into credit check on 27.10.2010.. Pls suggest.
    Thanks
    Joseph

  • Availability check and Credit check

    Hi
I have set up credit management. I have a query in my case for a MTS scenario the credit check is before I do the availability check
but in the case of a MTO scenario credit check is after availability check.
Am I missing any setups???? I am not able to understand this behaviour, should it not be considering the value as soon as the order is created and not wait for the availability check.
    Thank you for your time

Sorry about the late reponse I was away for a few days.
Thanks Srinu and Eduardo was taking timeout and responding.
Totally agree Srinu and that was exactly my point as well and hence the post on SDN
Srinu my issue with a MTO material is when I enter the order and save it there is no reponse from the system as currently stock is not avaiable, for some reason it doesnt do a credit check .
But for the same customer with a MTS material as soon as enter the customer num and the material
it gives a pop up stating
STATIC credit check: credit limit exceeded(data cannot be saved).
PLease do let me know if you require further details in the meanwhile I am gonna try and verify as well from my end.
My FD32 setup incase I have made any errors please do specify
