Status of task

Hi,
I am calling a standard function module with additional option <b>STARTING NEW TASK</b>. After execution of this how i will get the status ? Whether any way can i get the status if i am calling function module with STARTING NEW TASK?
Thanks
aRs

Hi,
After using STARTING NEW TASK..You would have given
PERFORMING <b>'SUBROUTINE NAME</b>' ON END OF TASK
Then in that subroutine you have to use
RECEIVE RESULTS FROM FUNCTION 'YOUR FM'..
to get the results..

    Hey Thomas,
    This should solve your problem..
    CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN'

            client              = sy-mandt
            objnr               = wa_new_user_status-guid

  • Changing status of Task created by system in Notification.

    I am facing a problem while changing status of "Task" in Notification to "Complete". Actually I want that if system is cretating a Task automatically in Notification, this Task should have status "Complete" instead of release.
    For this to happen I did some settings but after that system is giving me arror as shown in below.
    If any body has faced simmilar situation, pl. give some clue.
    Object does not exist (status management)
    Message no. IM258
    Diagnosis
    This refers to an error in central status management.
    Task status
    The central status management connection at task level will only be supported from Release 3.0.
    For this reason, no task status is available for statuses created before changing to Release 3.0, and status change is therefore also not possible.
    Procedure
    In the case of task statuses of notifications in releases prior to 3.0:
    When you save a notification you can create a status for the tasks.
    In the case of notification or task statuses for notifications from Release 3.0:
    Please refer to your system administrator.

    Hello Satyender,
    if you try to change the status of a task this will lead to the described behaviour, this SAP standard.
    Sorry that I can give you no solution in this case.

  • Checking the status of task records tied to the custom object 3

    We are using custom object 3
    There has been lot of configuration work done on this object.
    There is a checkbox on the UI. When a user will checks off the check box, a task record(s) is created depending on the condition.
    Is there a way for me to check the status on the task records and then set a field on the parent record i.e. custom object 3.
    Thanks,

  • Completion percentage - If my Status date Task finish date & applied completion percentage 100% = ? New finish date for the task?

    Hi and sorry for the title but it well summarize my question.
    In fact I applied a completion percentage of 25% on a task with a finish date inferior to the entered status date.
    MS Project only modified the Act. work  of the task but not its finish date.
    Is it a normal behaviour?
    Thanks a lot for help
    Paul

    Paul --
    To answer your question, yes, what you are seeing is normal behavior.  If you want Microsoft Project 2010 or 2013 to automatically adjust the Finish date based on the Status Date, you will need to do the following:
    Click File > Options > Advanced.
    In the Calculation Options section of the Advanced page, select the option named Move Start of Remaining Parts Before Status Date Forward to Status Date.
    Click the OK button.
    If you select this option and enter task progress as you described in your question, Microsoft Project will force a task split, moving the uncompleted part of the task to start immediately after the Status date.  In the same Calculation Options section
    of the Advanced page of the Project Options dialog, you might also want to select the option named And Move End of Completed Parts Forward to Status Date.  With this option selected in addition to the one mentioned in step #2 above, Microsoft Project
    will move the completed portion of the task to the Status Date so that you do not see a task split at all.
    Whether you use one or both of these options would be entirely up to you, based on what you want to see in the software.  Neither is perfect, but I think one or both of these would give you the automatic scheduling that you seek.  Hope this helps.

  • OIM 11gR2 : Retrieve status of task

    Hello Experts,
    I have successfully provisioned a user to AD and also a group to AD.
    When the user gets provisioned, then a task called Create User runs in the AD User process definition and when a group gets provisioned, then a task called Create Group runs in the AD Group process definition.
    In the case of successful provisioning, the task returns a successful response code i.e. C.
    I have a situation in which i want to retrieve the response codes for these tasks in my code. Eg : When a user gets provisioned to AD, i want to fetch the successful response code of the Create User task of AD User process definition in my code i.e. through OIM APIs.

  • What are the attributes available on Task Status Notification?

    Hi,
    I need to send the information below when a task is completed or rejected. So I would like to know if they are available. I think so because I've got them from Task Status Notification (OIM standard email definition). If not, what are the attributes available on Task Notification?
    <Tasks.Task Name> is <Task Details.Status>.
    <Task Details.Status>
    <Resource.Resource Name>

    Hi,
    I have implemented some java code to workaround the problem below... But I don't believe this does'n work in OIM :-):-):-):-) Please, tell me if you are using task status notification in OIM and if your email defintion has the variables below.
    Thanks,
    Hi,
    One of OIM email templates is Task Status Email Notification. I am trying to notify the user (Notification tab) using this template but it didn't work. Even when I set the Object Name and Process Name values for an email definition, it does not work.
    How have you implemented task status notification in your workflows? I think if this template exists in OIM, by default, so it is posible to have the information below during notifications.
    I think I'll have to call Oracle's Support.

    I didn't get any answer until now.. Below it is what I've done.
    a) Create an entity adapter that is assigned to the post-update of the Specific Task Info data object.
    b) Select the task information searching by SCH_KEY, for example (I have to do more tests)
    SELECT
    sch.sch_key, sch.sch_status, sch.sch_note, mil.mil_key, rsc.rsc_data, rsc.rsc_desc
    FROM
    osi, sch, mil, rsc
    WHERE
    mil.mil_key = osi.mil_key and
    osi.sch_key = sch.sch_key and
    sch.sch_key = ? and
    rsc.rsc_key = osi.rsc_key
    c) Load the e-mail definition template and replaces the fields
    d) Sends the e-mail
    With that I solved another problem: I have to send an e-mail always the assignee adds a note to the task.

  • Tasks get completed but workflow Status shows 'Error Occured' and not 'COmpleted' in Sequential Workflow Visual Studio 2010

    I have a custom approval sequential
    private void completeSPTask_MethodInvoking(object sender, EventArgs e)
    SPListItem task = workflowProperties.Web.Lists["Workflow Tasks"].GetItemById(WfApproveTaskItemId);
    task[SPBuiltInFieldId.WorkflowVersion] = 1;

    SPWorkflowTask.AlterTask((task as SPListItem), HTdata, true);
    task.Web.Update();
    workflow which works properly, the task status gets completed
    When the tasks are 'In Progress' the workflow status also remains "In Progress" but when the task is completed , it shows error Occurred. The following is my code in CompleteTask method.

    I got it working by removing the complete task method and by updating the task in the ontaskchanged event , In that case both the task as well as the workflow gets updated

  • Changing task status in code

    Hi Experts,
    I saw in a thread that different functions were advised to be used whenever changing WBS status programmatically:
    System status change of WBS element
    I was wondering if a similar list also exists for task status. I need functions that perform the same checks when changing status than the standard for:
    releasing tasks
    confirming partially / completely tasks
    teco tasks
    Thanks in advance
    Kind regards,
    Neil

    Not aware regardging Program availability. But the same if you are amuaaly able to set up and to avoid ling time in data upload / Migration.. You can develop BDC and use the same for the changing status of task. I believe  by task, you  are referrring  network activity.

  • DELETE TASK STATUS in TABLE

    Hi Gurus,
                  If I delete notification task those tasks status is not showing delete status in jest table.Due to thiswhen we want to execut the transaction( client Development) for all notification having open task then these delete notification tasks appears in the report.
    My reqirement is that when a notification task gets deleted where i get the delete status for task.
    Please help
    Regards
    Anil Kumar

    Hi,
    If you don't want to diplay the notificaitons for which the tasks have been set for deletion here is the procedure to follow.
    1. Create a status profile with the status DLFL.
    2. Create a selection profile and assign the above status profile with the status DLFL as NOT.
    3. While running the transaction QM13 run with the above seleciton profile. This will select all the notifications except the notificaitons for which the tasks have been deleted.
    Hope this  helps.

  • EHP4 - Task Statuses issue

    Dear Experts,
    We have a situation after the EHP4 upgrade,
    we were able to configure Restatement & status reporting.
    But when we imported the Transport requests in another environments,
    We have issue with the task statuses.
    Like all the statues of the tasks in consolidation monitor changed to Initial stage.
    please help us understanding this. Is it expected or is it an issue.
    Do we have any remedy. can we get back the earlier statuses.
    We have a Go live on this upgrade. plz help us in this situation.
    Thanks
    Kamal
    Edited by: kamal kishore on Nov 12, 2009 2:39 PM

    Hi,
    After the upgrade we checked the status monitor & we found all the historical status of tasks were made to initialised status.
    As per SAP while regenerating the data basis system created new table for status rather than the old table (not sure why)
    Hence all the old period task status were made to initialised status.
    SAP made a fix in the system & we could solve the issue.
    Thanks

  • Task status in notification

    Dears
    what is the menain of status in task
    1.sucessful
    2.release
    Is it possible to complete a task with out release
    When we will use Sucessful
    pls explain
    Faisal

    Hi,
    It is possible to complete tasks without release or successful. You can use release as a second approval stage after creation. Successful can be used to distinguish tasks from those completed with somehow unsatisfactory results. You may just create and complete tasks as well.
