Status profile update in old sales orders

I recently created a new status profile to suffice a business requirement . Any order created henceforth will have the status profile , BUT for the old orders there will be no status profile .
Is there any way to update status profiles in old orders via some existing standard function modue?

Hi Chandrashekhar,
The program didnt work . I havent gone through the oss notes though.
Here in my client's system , the status profile functionality was never used . They had a new requirement , for this I had a to create a new status profile, which i have assigned ot the item cat  . We are doing Resource related billing here . Till date all the orders created dont have any status profiles or Statuses. i want all the old orders to have the statuses .
In other words in the status tab, the object status button itself is missing( invisible) .
My requirement is for the old orders the object status button , & the statuses in side it should appear.
The table linkage is ONR00-> JSTO-> JEST->VBAP/VBAK  . there are no entries in all the first three tables, and because of this the object no in the VBAP table is blank .

  • Change invoice status on old sales order?

    Hi,
We are trying to archive old sales order but we got problem with some old sales orders.
The sales orders aren't invoiced (for different reasons) so we can't archive them (Overall status: Being processed).
Since the sale orders are very old we don't want to create invoice on them, just somehow fake or force the status so we can archive them.
What's the easiest way to do this?
    Thank you!
    Best Regards
    Lars

    Hi,
The easiest way is to maintain the reason for rejection for these orders.
If they are small in number then maintain the reason for rejection individually.
If the number of order is high, then got for the T.Code "MASS".
Select the "Object type" as "BUS2032".
    Execute.
Select "Sales Order Item Data" on "Tables" tab.
    Click on "Fields".
Search for the field "MASSVBAP-ABGRU" and Select that line.Click on "Execute".
Enter the document numbers range and maintain.

    Krishna.

  • Activate Rebates for Old Sales orders created

    Hi SAP Gurus,
How to activate rebate agreement or rebate condition records to old sales orders which has been created at past ?
let me take an example and explain:
    1. Total sales cycle is created (Sales Order, Delivery & Billing with Accounting document) is created on 06.06.2014 and rebate agreement is created on 26.06.2014.
Now my client is asking to link the rebate agreement which is created on 26.06.2014 to the Sales Cycle which is created and completed on 06.06.2014.
    Balajia

    Hi Balajia
The rebate process supports retroactive processing.
If you have activeate the new rebate procedure (via S136) you can run VBOF and as long as the
validity of the agreement and the agreement conditions cover this document created before the agreement the rebate condition will be inserted in the billing document and posted to FI.
If you do not have the new rebate procedure activated it is not possible to update the old document
but if it falls within the validity of the agreement it wil be included in the final settlement of the agreement carried out via VBOX.
Notes 75778 and 105681 in addition to 410579 should help you clarify the issue.
    Hope it helps
    Kind regards

  • Close Old sales order

    HI!
I need help to close old sales order.
We are working with the make to Order process in our company and we have a some old sales order that we need to close. These sales order weren't shipped but were manufactured. We can't use "REJECT REASON" in sales order document because the production orders have balance and we can't  appropriated the cost more.
Is it possible closed these sales order without using Reject Reason or change the production order?
       Best regards,
    Julio César

    you would reverse/cancel the confirmation(s) of your production order and set its status to TECO;
now you can use a reject reason in your sales order.

  • Update price on sales order

    Hi All,
we have this requirement as below:
Update price master data every half year, once the price is updated, all price on the sales order should be refreshed. Does SAP have standard function to update price on sales order?  We don't want to refresh sales order one by one, after the price master is updated.
    Thank you!

    Hi,
You can try with t-code MASS but you'll not have an option of Pricing Update over there, but I can suggest you one wayout in this situation as below:
    - Go to MASS
    - Select object type BUS2032
    - Select Sales Order Header data
    - Click on fields
    - You will see Pricing Date field
    - Select and execute
Logic behind this option is as below
    - your old sales orders would have old pricing date on which old pricing records were existing.
    - once you prices are updated half yearly and if you change the pricing date system will again look for the condition records and then it will update the prices as per new pricing date
I have not done this actually, but this may work because logic seems to be right.

  • How to transfer cost from old sales order (cancelled) to new sales order

    Hi Gurus
I want to know, how to move cost from one sales order to another sales order.
SD created sales order before 1 month and there was production order behind this. Production was completed and all the cost was moved to sales order and also SD has raised invoice on customer. This transaction was completed.
The above order was rejected by customer due to some changes in the order. SD raised another sales order and production order was created to to additional work. Production transfered above stock (produce before on old production order) to new production order.
My problem is stock is now transfered to new production order but cost is still sitting on old sales order. How do I transfer cost from old sales order to new sales order. SD cancelled old invoice and raised new one with full value (old + new work) on new sales order. Now cost is on old sales order and revenue is on new sales order.
    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi
I have reverse the sales order settlement, PP order settlement to sales order and I have also done KB11N for transfering the cost to the new production order.
The only problem is I was unable to transfer labour hour confirmation as cost element used for this are not for transfering cost. If I will reverse the confirmation in PP order system will reverse material movement also which I don't want any more. Can you please tell me how to I reverse the Labour hours with out affecting goods movement?
    Many thanks

  • Custom program for availability check and update for existing sale order at Item level(VA02)

    Hi,
I came to know Bapi_Saleorder_Simulate can be used for availability check and update an existing sale order.but there is no sample program explaining the process.I have tried this by passing parameters ORDER_HEADER_IN , ORDER_ITEMS_IN  ,ORDER_PARTNERS and ORDER_SCHEDULE_EX(for getting details),also i have assigned the sale document number ,custom document type(ZSO) in ORDER_HEADER_IN . while executing the BAPI I am getting the error external number range is not assigned for the document type ZSO . I am confused on seeing this error. It is possible to do availability check for existing sale order using this BAPI. Please explain how to achieve this.It will be really helpful if it is expalained with an example.
    Regards,
    Shanmuga

Hello, I think you may have been misinformed about this BAPI updating a sales order at item level. As far as I understand it this BAPI can be used to simulate the creation of a sales order which obviously would include and ATP check. This is why it is giving the error because it is simulating creation but you are entering a value in a field that should be automatically generated (i.e. the sales order number). For change the sales order at item level have you looked at BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE? I pretty sure this BAPI both updates sales order (header or item level) and can do an ATP first.
Points are always welcome if you feel an answer has been helpful.

  • Change in  item category  and  settlement of  old sales order not possible

    Hi
I   have to settle   sales orders  in VA88 and  transfer data to COPA.   I  want to do   directly  without  result  analysis. So, in the  item category, I  removed the result analysis key.   And  the  settlement  goes thru.
My issue is that  there are  orders in  July 2010  which  have to be settled,  but  it  does not work since the  changes in  item category has  happened  this month in Aug 2010 and  the  July  sales order are also  invoiced.
Pl  suggest a  solution  to  settle  the  July  sales order  to COPA.
    Thanks
    kamala

    Hi Kamala
I see only one possibility... The old sales order consists of some GL accounts posted in it which is not mapped in the allocation structure...
Alloc Str has 2 parts - i.e. One, it consists of a group of cost elements it has to handle and Two, it consists of the valid settlement receivers like PSG, CTR, etc
You say, this alloc str works well with new sales orders.... The 2nd part of alloc structure (i.e. valid receivers) applies equally to all sales orders.. But what can really differentiate the 2 sales orders is the cost elements posted on it...
I dont foresee any other posslbe reason

  • Creating new sale order with reference of old sale order.

    Dear gurus
    i have requirement
i want to make a sale order with reference of old sale order.
    how to achieve it?
    Regards
    Saad Nisar

    Hi,
    In vtaa
give source and document number and assign all the relevant routines.
Now on the left hand side, click the Item button and then give the source I.C as TAC and target also as TAC adn then fill the routines.
Do the same for Schedule line (which is related to TAC)
If this is done, then ur scenario will work

  • No condition update from the sales orders exist - VK322 Message

    Hello All,
I have activated " Condition Index" & " Condition Update" flag for one of my discount condition type and then created it's condition record along with scales on three levels. The condition type which I mentioned above is set as " Value Scale" in Scale Basis for checking the document value and apply the applicable discount percentage.
I have created three sales orders wherein the discount percentage is getting applied as per my condition record ( so, the document value is getting accumulated and compared with the condition record correctly )  but when I try to check the cumulative values ( ctrl +shift + F4 ) from the condition record, I get information message " VK322" mentioned in the subject.
    VK322 -
No condition update from the sales orders exist
    Message no. VK322
    Diagnosis
    The following causes are possible:
    1. There are no sales orders for the condition record that you selected.
    2. Updating condition records in the sales order entry is not active.
    Procedure
    Concerning 1:
Check the sales orders created for the condition record that you selected.
    Concerning 2:
Activate the updating for condition records in the sales order entry.
I have checked everything in SPRO for this but could not find anything which can give me a clue to resolve this problem, especially " Concerning 2" part of this message.
My requirement > To be able to see the cumulative values from condition record.
Also, in which table the accumulated values get stored?
Appreciate your expert advise on this issue.

    Hrishi

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to thank each one of you for giving valuable inputs in regard to my requirement and I would like to let you know that I am able to achieve the results as per the expectation.
I would also like to share some key things which I did ( with the help of all your expert inputs ) due to which the requirement is met:-
    1. Activation of ' Condition Index, Condition Update' in V/06 for the discount condition type.
    2. Maintained ' B - Value Scale' in Scale Basis for the said condition type in V/06 - my requirement was to check against a value to apply the necessary scale base percentage.
    3. Activation of ' S071' info structure via OM01
    4. Condition record maintenance as per the required scales.
    4. Written a new routine to check the accumulated condition base value from S071 along with the current document condition base value.
    5. Put this routine in ' Scale Formula' in V/06.
This is giving me the perfect results for the correct application of the discount.
Just last question - How to re-organize the S071 info structure as I tried to re-organize it with Standard Program ' RV15F001' but it is not re-organizing this info structure... Any idea on this?
Thanks a lot friends for all your advice...
    Regards,
    Hrishi

  • Old sales order with history needs to be canceled

We have an old Sales Order which had a down payment but then a subsequent reversal of the down payment because the customer has canceled the order.  A balance remains for the part.  We've attempted to use VF11 to delete the item but that did not work.  Does ayone know how to get rid of the item once there has been some subsequent posts and clearings of those posts?
Would F-32 be an option to clearing the original sales amount?

  • Update LineNum in Sales Order line Details

    Dear All,
I have imported a sales order into a database from another database on SAP B1 2005A using DTW. The sales order has only one line item.
However, after importing, the linenum of the target table RDR1 is 0 while the source has it as 1. All the other fields have been updated with the correct data.
I am trying to update the same sales order's LineNum to 1 using DTW with the 'update' option ticked and the process runs successfully. However upon checking the database I find out that it has added another line item with the same details. Can a linenum field be changed/updated? The reason behind my need to change the linenum is because after trying to import a sales delivery linking it to that sales order it gives me an error :[DLN1.BaseEntry][Line: 1] 'No matching records found [ODBC:2028]'.
    Kind Regards,
    Asif

    Asif,
The number of lines in the Sales Order does not neccesarily co-relate to the line number.
    Just a simple example:
    Create a Sales Order....Add a line item..add Sales Order
Open the same sales order..delete the line item (delete row) and add the same item / another item.  Though the Sales Order seems to have only one item..now if you check RDR1 the linenum would be 1.
The architecture of SAP B1 is to generate a new linenum each time you add a row.
Thats probably why you are seeing the difference.
If you want to match the target linenum. simply delete the row and add the same line item and Update SO.
DTW will not update the linenum as it is system managed.
My recommendation for your situation is - if you do not have the same item more than once on a Sales Order - then it is better to get the BaseLine from the Database you imported the Sales Orders to.
Let me know if you need any further direction with this.

  • After creating deliveries, the Bill-to and payer can be updated in the sales order.

After creating deliveries, the Bill-to and payer can be updated in the sales order.
Is there any standard customizing avaiable which will not allow the change of bill to party and payer in Sales order after delivery creation?

Either via sdh0 you can set the field as non-editable or in configuration, if you set the field for BP as not modifiable in Partner Determination for Sales Order Header, then users wont be able to change the partner function in sale order.
