What are the statutory forms that are required to be submitted by Employees and Employers. We need the correct templates of these forms. (Eg., Form 16 in India)
where we get other country's (Nigeria) statutory forms list ?

    We are implementing FI in several
    Spanish companies. Our client has requested to produce directly from SAP some fiscal statutory forms for the Spanish Government Fiscal Authority, and they need to produce them in the exact format that the fiscal authority request. We mean that our client wants SAP to print a form that can be sent directly to the Spanish Fiscal Authority. 
    We have made a research (help.sap.com, OSS notes…) in order to identify what of those forms are produced (or may be produced) and printed directly from SAP, and for what of those forms SAP just produce a report with the information needed but NOT in the exact format that the Spanish Fiscal Authority request.
    We have also propose our client to send the information with an txt file produced by SAP, but they request not only the DME but also to produce the form directly from SAP for some companies.
    We will really appreciate if you can tell us if SAP can produce the exact format that Spanish Government request for the followings tax statutory forms:
    ·     300 - Régimen General. Declaración Trimestral. We know that S_ALR_87100833 is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.
    ·     320 - Grandes Empresas. Declaración mensual. We know that S_ALR_87100833 is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.
    ·     349 - Declaración recapitulativa de operaciones intracomunitarias. We know that S_ALR_87012403 is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.
    ·     390 - Declaración resumen anual I.V.A.  We know that S_ALR_87100833 is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.
    ·     392 - Declaración resumen anual I.V.A. grandes empresas. We know that S_ALR_87100833 is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.

    ·     347 - Declaración anual operaciones con terceras personas. We know that RFUSVS14 is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.
    ·      349 - Declaración recapitulativa de operaciones intracomunitarias. We know that RFASLD11B is used for that form, but we need to know if SAP printout is valid for the Spanish Tax Authority.

    Have you read the SAP note 929649? It explains how to send model 347 via internet.
    We send 347 and 349 files via internet and it works. About the other models that you ask for, we generate the information with the report and complete it in the web site manually.
    We have another problem with the 347 model, some customers that send us invoices with IVA soportado and in this model, the system checks if it is a customer and appears as IVA repercutido. The program doesn't check the type of task, check only if it is a customer or vendor.
    Do you have any idea?

    As i am new to Cin functionality could you please tell me in what way i have to handle forms tracking in SAP.
    I mean what are the master datas which are to be inco-operated with the information.
    At the time of sales order where i have to enter the form information so that it should have effect in excise.
    If we wanna have a report out of it is there any standard report exsiting.

    You have to maintain form tracking in J1Ih t code
    To access the form tracking function, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Forms Tracking ® Create/Change/Display.
    For understanding purpose
    Form Tracking
    You use this function to record and monitor forms relating to tax concessions. You can record the forms that your customers send you against their sales orders, and those that you send to your vendors against your purchase orders.
    You can also use these functions for monitoring other routine activities, for example, when you transfer money to your personal ledger account (PLA) using a TR6 challan.
    Features
    Forms for concessional sales tax must be submitted by the buyer after the goods have been delivered or after it has paid the invoice. In the case of interstate concessional sales tax rate sales, the concessional rate is granted against the issue of C-forms.
    Exemption from excise duty may be granted by the excise authorities under certain circumstances, for example, on exports or deemed exports. In such cases, the buyer has to produce certain statutory forms to claim concessional rates of excise duty or exemptions. The exporter has to provide the vendor with proof of export (form AR3A).
    If the buyer is unable to furnish the certificate at the appropriate time, material supply should be at the normal rate of sales tax or excise duty.
    Activities
    To access the form tracking function, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Forms Tracking ® Create/Change/Display.

  • Help reqired in the steps involved in Cut-over Strategy

    We are implementing some sub modules of SAP-HR for a customer. The sub modules implemented are Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, and Recruitment. We have completed the UAT phase successfully. We need to complete the u201CGo Liveu201D phase. I am not clear about the cut-over strategy that we should be adapting. The customer has already implemented SAP-FICO and it is already live. As far as I know, the following activities are involved:
    1.     Move all the Customizing  settings to production
    2.     Move all the Workbench settings (none in our project) to production.
    3.     Upload all the master data and the transaction data to the production using LSMW/BDC.
    Are there any other activities to be completed? I am aware that some activities like creating Users, Authorization etc. are involved, but not sure about the details. Please guide me.
    Also, during SAP-HR configuration, we have created Company Codes, as it is an essential part of enterprise structure, which is set up in SAP-HR. However, Company Codes are actually set up Financial Accounting and since FICO is already live, the configuration for company codes would be already available in production. Now if I move the SAP-HR customizing settings, as it is, to production then it may be wrong, because it may overwrite the company code configuration already available in production. I am a bit confused. Please guide me.

    The purpose of cut-over strategy is to communicate all concerned members to aware and maintain the necessary data for upload for different Phase activities. so, ensure to communicate different Cut off date for different transactions.
    1. Are you using existing company code or different company code?
    2. Ensure to move IMG activities in a sequential way
    3.. Start uploading all master data in Quality Client and check the correctness
    HCM Master data are; Leave Data, Tax Related Data, Department and Position, Execute the Payroll Cycle, Check Gross and Net Payments in Payroll results, Check PF, PT, IT, ESI, LWF, Check Bonus, Gratuity and Superannuation, Execute off cycle Run, Posting to FI, Statutory Forms and Reports
    4. Based on outcome, initiate master data upload in Production client

  • Transfer of employees from one company code to other

    I have to transfer some 100 employees from one company code to other company code.  Can any one let me know the best practice for this activity.

    Hi,
    You cannot assign one PA to multible company codes.
    In you case, create new PA's by copying the Existing PA's.
    Assign the newly created PA's to the new Cocd.
    Check all the groupings.
    In the Inter company transfer aciton limit the infotypes to 0 & 1.
    Record an LSMW for Intercompany transfer and move the employees in the new Cocd.
    NB : perform the actions w.e f 01.04.2010 avoid any changes to the statutory forms.

    Hi,
    International payroll with statutory would differ based on the complexity involved in the country norms and pay policies tobe implemented in the schema level.
    Realization effort would definitely will be based on the country specific RICEF and PCR modifications to be performed. Else, the project estimation can be made based on any other country implementation for other phases in ASAP.
    some of the notes to be kept as a checklist for any payroll implementation are-
    1) Clear pay related requirements to be implemented are signed off
    2) Testing scenarios identified by the Users, functional consultants as a workshop session
    3) Parallel runs of atleast two cycle to be incorporated in the plan for implementation
    4) Statutory forms are well designed and tested per the latest SAP release notes
    5) Payroll users are trained and tested with the payroll processes
    6) FI configurations are well defined with the respective accounts to be considered for various wage types
    7) Test some of the end to end scenario for various cities and districts related calculations and different EGs from hiring and processing time, payrollt, posting to payroll and posting to finance
    8) Finalising on check print format and consolidated inputs with appropriate testing
    9) Bank transfer file to be well tested
    10) Reviewing the remuneration statement as pay slips in Portal (PDF format) should be configured and tested

    I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction - if the Employer Address in Statutory Forms is not being populated where in the IMG / which Table should I be updating to pull through the Employer Address onto these Forms

    Bit of an update - have managed to get the Employer Address to print on the P45 now - by using Table V_T5G52 and populating Addresses, but the P35 still shows blank in the fields where I would expect to see the Employer Address Details - can you point me in the direction of how I get the Employer Address to populate the P35 form

    I have open India, Responsibility and UK responsibility. The problem is that I am not able to see the Statutory Information Tab enable. This tab is disable
    Can anyone suggest me how can i Enable the filed
    UK Super HRMS Manager > Enter and Maintain > Query Employee > Click Assignment button> Click
    Statutory Information Tab> Click in grayed out field to access additional information.

    That note states this is intended functionality for UK. Are you wanting the tab to be enabled for India ? If so, have you enabled India legislation using DataInstall anf applied the latest hrglobal patch ? See MOS Doc 140511.1 ( How to Install Legislative Data Using Data Installer and hrglobal.drv )

    Hi Every one,
    I want to know that whether the statutory reports and returns to be submitted in india is available in India or we have to customize and develop one.
    I am not that aware of Forms...I have just gone to PE51 and tried to create a remuneration statement , thats all.
    Also if the returns and reports formats are available in SAP . what is the Transaction Code to see and customize the forms available........

  • Hong Kong Tax Forms IR56B SAP standard Layout

    Hi All
    HK statutory annual tax form IR56B (transaction PC00_M27_CTXB)  is generated once annually. There is a SAP standard layout HR_HK_IR56B2002 for this.
    However, notice that the layout settings is different from the government layout.  A few examples would be
    1. Item 11 Particulars of income accruing for the year from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 is divided into 2 lines in the SAP layout while it should only be printed in 1 line in the government layout.
    2.  The date formatting for items in #11 shouldnt contain any '/'
    (i.e. 01/01/2008), should only be 01012008.
    Appreciate if anyone may have any insight into how to resolve this.  Is it better to customize the layout instead or is the current layout considered acceptable?  Thanks in advance.

    You may want to consider the following options:
    a) open a OSS message to SAP to report on your observations
    b) custom build your enterprise specific IR56B form based on standard layout so that item 11 appears in 1 line and dates will be displayed without "slash"

  • IRS Draft Form W-2 for 2011

    Recently the IRS made available a draft form W-2 to address the optional Employer reporting for Employer sponsored group health plan cost of coverage. The information stated the location of the Employer cost should be Code DD on Box 12.
    I am having trouble locating  the config related to Code DD on Box 12? Have anyone located this information? Or can someone please instruct me where to locate this in the IMG?

    How are box 12 items configured?
    Ans: Configuration for box 12, like most boxes on the W-2 uses wage types from the payroll results. In order to have amounts presented on the W-2, you must link your custom wage types to the tax form groups provided by SAP. For the 2001 W-2 form, customer must link their wage types to tax form groups W23A, W23B, W23C, W23D, W23E, W23F, W23G, W23H, W23J, W23K, W23L, W23M, W23N, W23P, W23Q, W23R, W23S, W23T, and W23V as appropriate.
    a)         To configure (4.0B and above): Go to the IMG step: Payroll USA -> Tax Reporter -> Tax Form Groups -> Define tax form groups containing non-tax wage types.
    (For Release 3.1I, the IMG activity is called Define tax form groups containing all other wage types.)
    b)        Select (highlight) the applicable Tax Form Group and open up Assignment of wage types containing no tax amounts and complete the table fields.
    c)         You must also create an entry under the option Evaluation of tax forms for each tax form group.
    How are box 13 items configured?
    For the 2001 W-2 form, Box 13 items are the checkboxes for Statutory Employee, Retirement Plan and Third Party Sick Pay. There are 2 possible methods for having these items selected on the W-2 form. Where applicable, you can link your custom wage types to the tax form groups W25A, W25C, W25G and W25H as applicable via the IMG step: Payroll USA -> Tax Reporter -> Tax Forms Groups -> Define tax form groups containing non-tax wage types.
    To specify more advanced logic for the selection of these items on the W-2 form, SAP provides SAP enhancement HRCTRCU0, EXIT_RPCTRCU0_002 that can be accessed via transaction CMOD.
    How are box 14 items configured?
    Attach wage types to be reported for box 14 items to the appropriate tax form groups W24A -W24J as appropriate via the IMG step:
    a)         Payroll USA -> Tax Reporter -> Tax Form Groups -> Define Tax Form groups containing non-tax tax form groups.
    b)        Select the desired tax form group > Choose Assignment of Wage Types > New Entries.
    c)         You must also create an entry under the option Evaluation of tax forms for each tax form group.
    To create the text that you want to display on W-2 that corresponds to the reported amounts, simply change the text of the tax form group (W24A-W24J) from "Box 14 amount 1" to the text that you want to print on the form i.e. Tuition Reimbursement - "Tuition Reimb". Although the tax form group field description is quite long, your printed description will be limited by the space allowed on the W-2 paper form.
    I have configured my customer wage types to display in one of the boxes of the W-2. When I run Tax Reporter, I do not see any results? What could be the cause?
    A frequent cause of this problem is an incorrect sign associated with the wage type as it is linked to the tax form group in the table V_51T0_B option of table V_51T0_B. See the IMG Path: Payroll USA -> Tax Reporter -> Tax Form Groups -> Define Tax Form groups containing non-tax tax form groups.
    As a rule, negative amounts are not printed on W-2 forms. Therefore, you must consider the sign of the wage type when you attach it to the tax form group. For deductions that would normally carry a negative value in the Payroll RT results, you must select the Subtract wage type option in the Add or Subtract in field option of table V_51T0_B.
    For Tax Reporter purposes, this option will effectively reverse the sign for deduction wage and allow them to be appropriately displayed on the tax forms.
    The Tax Reporter log and configuration checker can also serve as useful tools for resolving these and other configuration issues
