Step by step description creating a histogram
I'm completely new in the Apple business, so I'm unfortunately not used to Numbers at all.
Now I have kinda a unsolved problem in terms of creating a histogram.
I've already read some other posts about creating a histogram, but I just didn't get them since they seem to require previous knowledge about Numbers.
Thus could someone give me step by step descritption for creating a histogram? I would be very thankful!
It's difficult to guess what you read and what you did and didn't understand. Let's begin with this example and you can ask from there...
You will begin with a column of input data. In this case, column A of a table called Data.
You should have some idea of what your intervals for the chart will be. You can change them later if necessary. In the table called Summary, Column A has the intervals for your bar chart and column be will have the expression that calculates the content of each "bucket".
There is only one equation in this document, and it's repeated for each "bucket" of your histogram.
It couldn't get much easier.
Here's how it works. The Frequency function looks at your data (DATA :: A), and your intervals (Column A of the Summary Table, represented by "A"), and calculates an array of frequencies. This array of frequency data exists only internally and must be accessed by INDEX or the like. So, we wrap the FREQUENCY function in an INDEX function to access the individual elements of the FREQUENCY array. In my example, we get the element corresponding to the ROW we're in, less 1 row for the Header. Then simply Chart the elements that are returned from the array.
Be aware, as a new Numbers user that a Header row is a special row, designated by setting the number of header rows in the Table Inspector or in the Format Bar.
Best regards,
Jerry

Please search the forum before posting a thread
Edited by: Pravender on May 4, 2011 3:57 PMHi Vandana,
1.Go to RSPC tcode ->(F5) create ->It will ask for process chain name ->then it will ask for start variant
2.If you have no start variant pre created then create new one (at right side there will be a paper symbol for that ).Every process chain has one and only one start variant that is to set scheduling option etc .When you will create a new one you will go to a screen where you have scheduling option .
3.a) Direct scheduling ->to start execution immediately
b) start using meta chain or API ->chains which run at specific time (day ,month etc or after some specific event ). save your settings and go back .click check symbol for final creation of start variant.
4.Now at left screen you have chain symbol (process types) .when you will click on that you will have all the process lists .
5.You can select process as per your requirement and connect different processes together. Each process is a different event (ex : load DTP ,Infopackage ,ABAP program ,AND ,Interrupt ).You cna do detailed study for that .
6.After adding all processes activate (ctrl+F3) and execute .
7.After that you can check logs (shift+F1) .you can see todays log ,yesterday and today etc .For details of every process execution right click on process and see display variant .
Hope this will be helpful for basic startup.you can further read thoroughly on each process .

Recently I have been shifted from R/3 to Apo ; Want to know the creation of planing book & the creation of Macro workbench playing behind planning book .
To create planning book.
To create Macro & how to relate a planning book with the macro.
Step by step process from simple to complex .
Different process to programe a macro .
I can understant ( rather I know ) how to relate a badi (Enhancement spot ) to a macro & but please guide me how to define a row of a planing book : such as how to define the row 'Avg Weekly Forcast' of planing book in a single varriable as 'ZAVGWKFST' to capture it at badi in the parameter I_T_LINES[]
(component - FELDH).
To create a custom Button in a planning book & how to program.
I have many broken links while I try to know it by myself.Hi amitabha,
Please find below the detailed steps to define a planning book:
A planning book defines the content and the layout of the interactive planning screen. Planning books are used in Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning. They allow you to design the screen to suit individual planning tasks. A planning book is based on a planning area. You can create several user-specific data views in a planning book. In this step, you create a planning book for Demand Planning.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP SCM menu Advanced Planning and Optimization Demand Planning Environment Current settings Define Planning Book
Transaction code /SAPAPO/SDP8B
2. Enter the planning book DP_001 and choose Create.
The Planning Book Wizard dialog box is displayed.
3. Make the following entries:
Field name User action and values
Planning Book Enter the planning book DP_001
Planning book text Demand Planning
Planning area Select the planning area DP_001 and choose Enter

Additional Field 2 9AADDKF2 Relevant for Scenario VMI
Additional Field 3 9AADDKF3 Relevant for Scenario MTS
Additional Field 4 9AADDKF4 Relevant for Scenario MTS
Additional Field 5 9AADDKF5 Relevant for Scenario MTS
The Proportional factor APODPDANT key figure is automatically added to your planning area when you create the planning area. You do not have to add this key figure yourself and assign it to the planning book in this step. When you create the respective view, this key figure will be automatically there for your selection.
6. Choose Continue.
7. Assign the following characteristics from the planning area to the planning book by using drag and drop:
Description Value
APO Location 9ALOCNO
APO Product 9AMATNR
Brand 9ABRAND
Sales Organization 9AVKORG
APO Destination Loc. 9ALOCTO
The characteristic 9AVERSION (APO Planning Version) will be added to the planning book automatically after you complete this step.
9. Choose Continue to go to the Data View tab (the Key Fig. Attrib tab is available in the change mode only after you have completed the planning book).
10. On the Data view tab; enter the following values:

Steps to create macros in macro wrokbench:
3.7 Creating Macros (SAP APO)
Use
You can use advanced macros to perform complex calculations quickly and easily. Macros are executed either directly by the user or automatically at a predefined point in time. When defining advanced macros, you work in a special desktop environment known as the MacroBuilder.
In total, four macros are created in the Demand Planning building block. They are all defined for the planning book DP_001. You create three macros for forecast calculation according to the following instruction. The chapter Creating the Macro for Consensus-Based Planning describes how to create the alert macro for consensus-based planning.
In the DP_STANDARD view of the planning book DP_001, you create two macros:
The first macro is used for the standard and consensus-based planning. The system calculates the arithmetic average of Statistical Forecast, Sales Forecast and Logistics Forecast, the result of average forecast data plus Promotion Data is inserted in the Final Forecast cell. It enables the user to consider the forecast input and the promotion plan from different departments within the company. The planner can make manual adjustments and enter the final agreed forecast into the Final Forecast cell. All of this information can be shown in the planning book screen.
The second macro multiplies the Final forecast data with the Planned price to calculate the sales volume. The third macro is an alert macro used for highlighting exceptional situations in consensus-based planning.
In the DP_SALES view of the planning book DP_001, you create the fourth macro. This macro multiplies the Final forecast data with the Planned price to calculate the sales volume, which is the same as the one in the standard view.

Process step by step for creating Tax Code ?
Dear All ,
Kindly provide me step by step manner to create tax code in FTXP , I need each & every single step which is to be used to create a tax code , pl it is urgent , for ex. i need to know that what is filled in target tax code , EU Code , check id ( why it is checked ) etc .
sap11Hi,
Transaction: FTXP
This area gives you a step by step explanation on "how to create a tax code in SAP". Later on these tax codes must be used in the creation of condition tables such as for MWST.
Go to transaction code FTXP and select the country for which you need to create a tax code. This country is automatically linked to the Tax Procedure which has been set up in the menu path [IMG - Financial accounting - Financial accounting global settings - tax on sales/purchases - basic settings - Assign country to calculation procedure]. Enter in the field tax code. This must be a 2-digit alphanumeric code i.e. A5, 55, BB, etc.. Before SAP 4.5 (I believe) you could use other special characters such as @, ? etc... But this is no longer applicable. See OSS note 212806.SAP will ask you to complete other additional fields such as:
description of the tax code: please give a clear description
define the tax type: define whether the tax code is relevant for input or output tax
Indicator which determines that an error message should be issued if the tax amount is not correct. It it recommended to flag this.
Eu code: One of the most forgotten parameter. If you do not set this parameter at "1" then all transactions with this code will be not picked up in the ESL listing of that specific country. This code "1" represents all the Sales from one EU country to another EU country.
The target tax code fields are used in case of deferred taxes. This is applicable for example in France. The VAT needs to be paid for example not when the invoice is issued but when the customer pays the VAT. There are here again special programs available in SAP for deferred taxes.
Reporting country: this field needs to be completed when you are using the plants abroad functionality. This means that when you as a German company have a Belgian VAT number and you have sales in Belgium (+ you need to submit a VAT return in Belgium) , then of course these invoices need to be booked in SAP with a Belgian tax code.
Further in the menu you can also allocate the amount where this specific tax code is used to a certain tax account. The tax type fields such as Base Amount, Input tax, Output Tax ... can be determined via the calculation procedures. Calculation procedures are defined in the IMG at [Financial accounting - Financial accounting global settings - tax on sales/purchases - basic settings - Assign country to calculation procedure]. Here you will need to define also the calculation levels. For example the Output tax is level 125 and the output tax will be calculated on the basis of the base amount. Therefore you put for the output tax in the field "from level" 100. The level of Base amount is 100. You do the same for the others.
Account Keys.
NVV: The non deductible VAT is automatically added to the expenses account
NAV: Indicate for this key a separate account for the non deductible VAT
ESA: Output tax in case of Acquisition of EU goods
ESE: Input tax in case Acquisition of EU goodsLast but not least you also need to complete the tax rate field.
Tax Percentage & GL Account assignment
Tax percentage can be maintained in two ways & that depends upon the Tax procedure that has been followed i.e. if tax procedure is formula based then percentage can be maintained in FTXP only, where as if the procedure is condition based then percentage has to be maintained under the identified condition type.
Once done GL accounts has to be assigned under OB40 for automatic posting of tax amounts.

I have a nano and want to transfer my music to my new iPad, in all the excitement of setting up my iPad I created a new apple Id and now I can't sync my music!
Can someone please advise if there is a way to transfer my music to my iPad manually? If so, please detail step by step, as I am technologically challenged! Thanks in anticipation. You can search within your music folder on your pc, or within documents folder for a music folder.
In any case, you would need to sync with itunes
IOS: Syncing with iTunes

If the music was purchased from the itunes store, you can also download it directly from there to the ipad. -

Check the following configurations are done or not
1)Go to VOR1 & VOR2 and assign dist channels and divisions to sales orgn.
2) SPRO->sales and distribution->basic functions->setup partner determination , here you maintain partner determination with the partner functions for Customer account group ,standard for sold to party is 0001
3) Create a customer with XD01
4) In OVAZ assign the sales document types to your sales area
5) Go to VN01 and maintain number ranges and assign to your sales document type (Ex: OR)
6)Go to VOV8 and select the sales document type(Ex: OR) and there you assign the number range
7) IN VOV4 check the item category determination is correct or not
8)Go to OVKK and Assign pricing procedure RVAA01 to your sales area,Cupp ,Dupp.
9) Maintain conditon records for the condition types that are there in the pricing procedure
10) Create a Material Master Record(MMR)
11) Now you can create the sales order with VA01

Creating a request in Transports? Step by step needed.
Hi BW gurus,
I would like to know the steps for creating a request with collection of necessary objects which needs to be transported.
the necessary objects are: Multi provider, Info cube, Update rules.
Collection mode is selected as manually.
Grouping is selected as only necessary objects.
The Infocube which needs to be transported is the new one created from a copy of existing cube.
The Multiprovider is the existing one which has been modified by including the new cube created.
The Update rules which needs to be transported are also the new ones created from the copy of existing ones.
So, Please give me the step by step procedure for doing this.
Note: Against Multiprovider, we have a check box for transport. When that can be checked. I hope it can be checked if we select the data flow before & afterwards only.

I am very new to PCUI and have been trying to get a simple application up and running for the last few days. There always seems to be some problem or the other. At times it gives a dump, at times it gives me a screen without the search request or search result area and when i get all of these done, my application just does not invoke the Query method.
I would appreciate it if you could give me Step by Step instructions to create a simple PCUI application to search for some data from an existing database table and display it.
