Stock Transport in Plants Abroad and Tax Reporting

Hello,
We have Plants Abroad and we need to account stock transports between
our plants abroad. We have defined a billing document type for
determining taxes for plants that are abroad, so it appears on Tax
Report and EC Sales List. The issue is that, although the customer
name appears on the billing document, as the stock transport is between
plants of the same society, it does not appear on the accounting
document. So it does not appear on the Tax Report or EC Sales List
neither and this field is necessary for the reporting (but the CIF number appears correctly).
Can anyone help me in this issue?
Thank you,
Silvia

Hi Silvia
If my understanding is correct, you need to generate a report wherein it should show abroad plant wise items sent and quantity.
For this, the material movement should have been 631 and to track the despatch details, goto MB51 and give the movement type in the "Movement Type" field and execute.
Thanks

  • Sales and Tax reports separated by currency

I searched the forum and had a live chat with Adobe support with no result
BC supports multiple currencies and has the option to set taxes per country or region.
One would expect that BC therefore should supply reporting for sales per currency and tax reports for each defined tax setting.
But it doesn't - sales numbers are all collected as it was in one currency. I have 7 currencies in my webshop.
The sales numbers are totally wrong in the system. All currencies are summarized together without any separation.
Imagine me trying to do a tax report, US only has so many taxes and even sub taxes for some states.
    It is practically impossible.
I am reaching out to the readers of this development forum.
Please, please, please is there anyone who can build something to fix this problem in BC.
I am willing to pay for it.

    Hi,
You may double click the column header to change the sort.
    Thanks,

  • Plant Abroad and FB70

ONe of our companies (in Ireland) has a plant abroad in Romania (a Romanian VAT number) and use it for local product sales. They need to do royalties customer invoices with this plant abroad using the FI customer invoice (FB70), but because of Romanian tax rule, the document type must have a specific number range for avoid gaps in the invoice numbers. I don't find field in the FB70 where you can specify what is the "plant" VAT number you're using so it is not present fields I can use for made a substitution of number range. The only solution is to have a document type for plant abroad in the sames company?
    Thanks
    Davide

    The situation is this:
one Ireland company with plant abroad in Romania, so two VAT number, 1 for Ireland the other for Romania.
only a document type for FI customer invoice (the standard DR), so a unique number range for both the VAT number.
In this situation can have a things like this:
document 1000001,1000002,1000003 witht Irish VAT codes, document 1000004,1000005 for Romanian VAT codes, 1000006 for Irish,1000007 for Romanian. So in the Romanian VAT books enter the document 1000004,10000005,1000007.
This is not good because fro ROmania tax rules the number gaps are not admitted ,the correct situation in a Romanian vat book should be 1000001,_1000002_,_1000003_,1000004,1000005,_1000006_,1000007. But this is not possible using a unique document type, because in FI customer invoice posting is not possible specify the VAT number of plant you want use.

  • Tolling, Plant Abroad and Intercompany - Whats the difference

    Hi All,
I need to understand the difference between the above 3 concepts from SAp point of view. Can anyone provide a suitable information pls?
    rgds..Ameet

    Hi,
    TOLLING -
This scenario describes the process of toll /subcontracting. In this particular case, we firstly forecasts the future requirements based on past consumption. And we find the stock of similar material in the warehouse but need additional job processing, This job processing is carried out by an external service provider (subcontractor).

  • Stock Transport from plant to MRP Area

I have been looking for explanation on how to handle replenishment of MRP area storage location stocks within a plant.   We use Special procurement types but they are set up on for plants, not MRP areas.  Can anyone explain how this works and the configuration to make it work?   Were setting up a warehouse as an MRP area and need to replenish its stocks with MRP.

Aren't your questions answered in SAP online help?
    Integration
The process is the same as for Storage Location MRP. In contrast to the storage location MRP, you can use all MRP procedures and are not limited to the reorder point planning procedure.
    Prerequisites
In Customizing for MRP, you have created the special procurement key for Stock transfer from plant to MRP area for the plant in which the MRP area is located. You have defined the following parameters:
    - Procurement type: F for External procurement
    - Special procurement: U for Stock transfer
    - Plant: Number of plant, to which the MRP area belongs.
In the material master, you have created the MRP area segment and assigned the special procurement key Stock transfer from plant to MRP area.
    Features
During MRP, the system generates a stock transfer reservation for the material in the MRP area and a material reservation in the plant MRP area.
The external procurement storage location that you have entered in the MRP area segment of the material master is used as the receiving storage location. If you have not maintained this field, the system uses the receiving storage location that you entered for the MRP area in Customizing.
The actual procurement is processed by the plant. With stock transfer to the MRP area, you carry out the transfer posting for the material with reference to the reservation.
Standard procurement key 45 is for that purpose: plant: 1000 (V460A-WERKS), procurement key F; special procurement: U; plant: 1000 (V460A-WRK02).
So, in both fields you have to write the same plant as it is clearly written in SAP onilne help.
As SAP help says: a Stock transfer reservation is created. Using MIGO (A08; R09) you can post the goods movement by mvt 311 with reference to the Stock transfer reservation (MB1A is also good).
Why don't you test in in your sandbox system and you will see how it works.
(If you want to use STO (purchasing document type UB) in this process you have to go trough OSS note 599915)

  • Stock Transport Order : Plant to Plant

    Hi All,
When doing a stock transport order, it is saying there is no inventory available for XXXXXXXXx, when we do have inventory.  We have been shipping these and now all of a sudden there is a problem.
Please let me know, what could be possible reasons for this message.
    Regards
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,
Please check the following points for the material :
    1. Whether you have availability check in place during STO creation and Saving.
    2. If yes, can you check what are stock it going to consider , whether you have considered open STO yet to be delivered.
    3. on a micro level just check whether the Sloc enterd in STO is the correct.
    Please reward if it helps.
    Thx,

  • Stock Mismatch at Plant level and Serial Number Collection

    Hi,
I'm working on with the material stocks in my application. For the serialised material (MATNR = 50004050), I'm gettting the plant level stock as 20 and the corresponding serial numbers collection for the same material is 27 which is wrong. Since the plant level stock and the serial number collection should be one and the same
I'm using MARA, MARC table for getting the plant level stock and EQUI and EQBS table to get the serial number collection. If I increase the stock using the transaction 'MB1C' and movement type '561', the serial numbers which I'm giving for the serialised material is coming in the serial number collection but the plant level stock still in the previous value itself. If I raise the stock for the serialised material, the plant level stock also should get updated.
Please let me know, how can I get the stock equal in both plant and serial number collection.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Mohan.

This could happen, if the status of serial number is wrongly updated to ESTO. From where are you taking serial numbers?Physically what is right the qty showing plant stock or the qty showing serial number? May be you go and check the history of the serial number to see if it is really available in stock.
Also it can be serial number is optional so though the stock is reduced but serial number is not captured while issuing so the stock at plant level is less but serial number is more,
If this is the case, reconciallation directly from tables will be difficult.

  • MCHB,MARD - Stock available at plant level and storage location level

    Hi ,
How to determine how much stock available at Storage location level and Plant level. (Lot is not maintained).
In MCHB-Stock at lot level is shown.
In MARD-Stock at Storage Location level is shown lncluding
the stock maintaned at the lot level.
If i want to know the stock which is not maintained in Lot, i.e, Stocks directly maintained at Storage location / Plant.
Do I need to subtract the MCHB Value from MARD Value ?
Is there any other way available to find the stocks which is not maintained at lot level.
    Regards
    Prasath

    Hi prashant,
What do u mean by stock maintained at SL level without batch level.  Do u mean that some materials are subjected to batch management and some or not?
If that is the case, for all batch managed materials, u can see the stock at batch level and also same is summed up at SL level.  But still what ever u are getting from MARD table isstock at SL level only.
If u have activated batch management for any material, it will always be shown at lot level also.
    hope this clarfifies query

  • STO (stock transport Order) posting:  ATP and inventory impact

    Dear All.
ATP configuration "OVZ9" gives you one checkbox to include or exclude purchase orders from ATP.  "Incl.purchase orders".
In general we do want to include these for ATP, but this also includes STO documents.  In some cases we do not wan to include the STO.
Is there a way to not include the inbound STO as a receipt in ATP for a plant, but include purchase orders?
If not through ATP configuration, then possibly through the document setup or posting?  Wondering if we make a copy of the UB to a ZB and can exclude ZB from ATP or have it post to blocked stock or some other way so this type of STO does not impact ATP?
    Many thanks!

That's a good idea.  Thank you.
If it works we could post the STO's we want to exclude to a different storage location.  We'll check and see if this excludes the receipts from ATP.

  • Foreign Currency Valuations (F-05) and Tax Report  (S_ALR_87012357)

    Dear all,
    Version: 4.7 R/3
<u>Previous steps:</u> To adjust Local Currency we have to post by using F-05.
All line items have amount 0 for Document Currency and amount XXX for Local Currency. There is a line item of this type for Output VAT as well.
<u>Problem:</u> After posting the document, we obtain the report S_ALR_87012357 "Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases" in Local Currency; although the column "Tax Base Amount" is including the amount adjusted by F-05, the column "To be paid over", and therefore, the "Balance" is not considering the amount of the adjustment document.
<u>Additional Keys:</u> I saw in SAP Note 1009578 that due to a program error, the Cash Management doesn't update line items with document currency or local currency with amount 0, even if the other amount respectively was not equal to zero.
<u>Request:</u> I ignore whether it could be the same problem or not. Maybe I have overlooked something. Could you provide your inputs? Thanks.
    Please help,

    Hi,
First define the Currency rates under the head of general settings - currency - enter exchange rates (ob08).
Create Foriegn Exch loss or gain GL a/c under current liability, with open item management.
And in OBA1  for Sundry Debtors you assign the Foriegn Exch loss or gain a/c under both tab (realised loss and gain, and even in valuation loss and gain).  You do same for Sundry creditos also..

  • Error during Stock Transport Order plant assignment to vendor

    Dear All ,
I am configuring Inter Compay STO . For that I have created a Vendor(Plant 1000) for a company code 1010 and trying to assign Plant 1000 which belongs to Company code 1000.
But System is giving error Plant 1000  is already assigned to Vendor 491000.But when I want to display this vendor this vendor is not in the system . This error is coming in production server. We have been using SAP since April 2009 and we have SAP best practices implemented . I remember this vendor number was SAP Best practice vendor for STO which is no more in database.Same error is coming for assignment of plant 1010 also for company code 1010 which is also best practice company code. But for Plant belonging to Company code 1020 no error which was configured by us .
Please guide me what I have to do to rectify this error.
    Regards
    Abhijit

you probably entered this 491000 vendor number in customizingin development client and then transported the customizing to production. So your table T001W has this development master data number in the vendor number field for your plant.
We usually create the vendors and customers in production and transport them then with ALE scenario into the DEV system to have the master data there with the same number when we start customizing STO scenarios.
You have to erase the wrong vendor number from T001w with table maintenance tools (if such is allowed in your production system) then you can assign the correct vendor.

  • Standard Book and Tax Reports

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have about 300 reports in front of me. I have to tell my company which reports are in standard SAP FA and which are not. Please help me how can I tell them. Please guide step-by-step. E-mail tang_54(atr) hotmail.com

    Hi
You may not get the exact content of your report in standard SAP report. Check what are the content involved in ur report and out of that what are avaiale in SAP. there may be one to one secario or many to one.
There is no short cut for this. you have visit all report one by one to see the avaialbel information in standard report.

  • MR90 and tax reporting or perhaps it's MRRL and the settlement process.

I've noticed that in the SAP standard output type ERS that sometimes the tax is calculated on
              -   the total net value
and other times the calculation is done on
             -  the total net value - discount amount
I realize this data is just pulled from the tables so this could be an MRRL question.
Can anyone explain how I can take the same SA, with the same tax code and the same payment terms and come up with different results?
What might I have changed that would cause SAP to not take the discount before calculating the tax amount?
    Sandra

    Hi,
Check the payment term on whether it has multiple versions of it using the day limit functionality. The scenario you are painting looks like in one day limit there is a discount and in other there is none and it might have so happened that your base line date has fallen in these different day limits creating different calculation logic getting applied in MRRL

  • Stock Transport Order with Delivery and Billing

    Dear all,
I've manage to perform STO process for supplying plant -> delivery (VL10B) until post goods issue (VL02N).
Now, when I attempt to perform standard SD billing (VF01) using the delivery number, the system proposes "IV" billing type (Interco Billing).
My problem is there no net price for the billing document (VF01). Question: normally the pricing is carried over from Sales Order in a normal SD process. Since this is STO crossover from MM process into SD process, do I need to maintain the pricing condition manually in the billing document before saving?
    Thanks.
    Steven

In the copy control (delivery --> billing document) you can define what the source of the price is, from where system should copy, determine it.
Basically you have two options: determine the price based on sales condition records or copy the price from purchase order (see pasted link). If you use shipment, you can set that shipment cost should be copied as well (see OSS note 574850).
You can find copy control settings under:
SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Billing > Billing Documents > Maintain Copying Control For Billing Documents
As for details please have a look at:
    Intercompany Billing Process
    (see Raghavendra's answer)
if you are not familiar with SD, please contact your SD consultant to carry out the settings.
