how to overcome this issue.

jpr

Hi,
I  would suggest you to have STO
1. Create STO which must be created in receiving plant (Manuf.plant) by ME21N
2. Create outbound delivey order) and PGI w.r.t. STO in Depot.(VL10B)
3. Post depot excise invoice using J1IJ.
4. Post the Goods Receipt in receiving plant. (select "No excise Entry")
5. Post excise invoice number using J1IEX.(Here in Depot to Plant scenario, system will not accept "refference Excise Invoice")
Select  J1IEX and Option "without reffernce to Purchase order (ETT -EWPO). Bcz J1IEX and Option "Goods Receipt "( ETT-GRPO) Option is not working in Depot to Plant Scenarion..this is SAP Std.
6. Verify Invoice using MIRO.

  • Stock report for depots or plants

    Hi
We got a requirement to develop a report for depot , for a particular given period of time say suppose jan to march 2009 the depot want to see the stock details with value like
if they run the report for jan to march , system should show the opening stock of january 1st and the receipts happened in the 3 months and the issues happened in the 3 months and the cllosing balence of march 31st . system should show stock as wel as value (inclusive of excise duties)
we actually checked MB5B tcode in which all the details we get from the report , but system is giving dump because we have huge data and materials . So we cannot use MB5B for this data . and we created one Z programme calling MB5B in the background to extract the Opening stock for a material . Even that report also not working because of MB5B.
Is there any workaround to get the opening stock or can we develop this through LIS . If any workaround is possible or if it can be done through LIS please suggest . Important Note : in the value excise to be included and come

Run the Report MB5B in back ground and check the below OSS notes

  • Stock value for stock transfer from depot (RG23D) to manufacturing (RG23A)

    Dear all,
The forum posts that I found are all relating to the process of how to do stock transfer from depot plant to manufacturing plant.
The question I want to post is relating to the transferred stock value.
When stock first goes into depot plant (RG23D), the excise duties (CVD, Education Cess, Higher Education Cess, Secondary Education Cess) are all inventorized. However, in manufacturing plant (RG23A), they are CENVATABLE and not inventorized.
In the transfer of stock from depot to manufacturing, how can we split out the stock value from depot and take out the excise duties to CENVAT in manufacturing plant?
If using Stock Transfer process (move stock from depot to manufacturing),
    1. Create Stock Transfer Order in ME21N using UD order type
            no accounting
    2. Create DO in VL10B and goods issue
During goods issue, moving average of stock in depot plant, will increase stock with the same value in manufacturing plant and reduce the stock value in depot plant. How can we reduce the stock value transferred to manufacturing plant by the original excise duties amount, and pass this amount into J1IEX? Is it done in this step or later steps?
Dr Stock into manufacturing plant  [this value by right, should be reduced as it consists of original excise duties in RG23D?]
            Cr Stock from depot plant
    3. J1IJ- RG23D selection for excise invoice for delivery at depot
        no accounting
    4. VF01 for proforma invoice
       no accounting
    5. MIGO into manufacturing plant (capture excise invoice)- part 1 register. the excise duties can be manually keyed in based on the original RG23D entries when stock is first brought into originating depot plant
         no accounting
    6. Enter Incoming Excise Invoice by J1IEX
         Dr CENVAT Input AED
         Dr CENVAT Input BED
         Dr RG23A ECess
         Dr RG23A SHECess
               Cr CENVAT clearing
    7. Question: Where to Debit CENVAT clearing? In normal domestic purchase process of raw materials into manufacturing plant, Dr CENVAT clearing will be posted during MIRO time.
If this process is not the correct way to do, please advise the standard SAP recommended way to transfer from depot to manufacturing plant.
    Thank you in advance.

You have to add the Excise duty condition types as a Delivery cost Pricing condition types in STO Pricing procedure and have used them in STO. In Pricing procedure, there is no concept of Deductible and Non Deductible. So, what ever the Delivery cost condition you add in Pricing procedure, the amount gets loaded on to the Material cost..To avoid this, a negative condition type needs to be inserted in Pricing procedure with a different accrual key.
You have to add One Positive condition and One Negative Condition type for the same. Negative condition type is to reduce the condition value from the Material cost during GI.
Try this scenario in development server and revert back with your observations.

  • Stock transfer to Non-Excisable Plant

    Hi All,
I need to confirm the understanding for this scenario. Our client is doing stock transfer from manufacturing unit to non-excisable plant (same company code) but they do not update RG23D register. they post excise invoice during such stock transfer to non-excisable plant but when they sale from there to customer , they do not pass on any excise duty. I could see numerous threads for STO in CIN but they are all with Depot sale with RG23D getting updated. Am I missing something or is there a way to handle this in SAP?
    Thanks
    Binita

    Hi Binita,
There are two types of scenarios in case of STO's from manufacturing plants to depots.
    1. STO from manufacturing plant to exciseable depot:
From sending plant PO->DELIVERY->PROFORMA BILLING DOCUMENT->EXCISE INVOICE.
    From receiving plant(Exciseable depot) GOODS RECIEPT->CAPTURE EXCISE(RG23D REGISTER UPDATION)->SALES ORDER->DELIVERY DOCUMENT->DISTRIBUTE EXCISE(DEPOT EXCISE INVOICE & RG23D UPDATION)-> BILLING DOCUMENT.
    2. STO from manufacturing plant to non exciseable depot(e.g Ware house or CFAs)
From sending plant PO->DELIVERY->PROFORMA BILLING DOCUMENT->EXCISE INVOICE.
From receiving plant(Non exciseable plant) Goods receipt will be done & the duties will be inventorized in the purchasing price. No need to update any registers. Excise values will be loaded on to the material cost.
    Hope its clear now.

  • Delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant 311

    Dear all,
I need to create a delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant, movement 311,  i.e. just from 1 storage location to another storage location.
I tried to use VL01NO with delivery type UL.
Now my question is how can I assign a receiving plant for a customer?
I can't do the MIGO or MB1B document because I need the delivery document (packing list, forms, Texts,...).
    It's possible this option???
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
What is the item category you are assigning while doing VL01NO?  Check the schedule line category for that item category assignment.  That Schedule line category has an option for one step GI.  There you can assign 311 or create a separate item category and schedule line category and in that SC assign 311.
    Thanks
    Krish.

  • Depot to plant and vice versa process.

    Dear all,
Can anybody  share your knowledge about depot to plant and plant to depot and sales process flow with excise entery.
Advance thanks for your great knowledge shareing.

    Hi,
    Sales from Depots
    Purpose
You may sell finished goods directly from the place of manufacture, as described under Sales from Factories, or you may first ship them to a separate location for storage (a depot), from where you will sell them. The second procedure is described here.
Sales from depots are handled differently from sales from factories because of excise law: Excise duty is payable when you send the goods from the factory to the depot, but it is not levied again when you sell the goods.
Sometimes when you make a final sale of goods from a depot, price escalations could have happened with retrospective effect. In such scenarios you need to pay the extra excise duty at the factory using an A Certificate. You need to register the A certificate details in the RG 23D register and the excise recovered from the customer.
    Prerequisites
    You have customized:
Stock transport processing, in Customizing for Materials Management (MM), by choosing Purchasing ® Purchase Order ® Set Up Stock Transport Order
The copying control for copying stock transport order NL to excise invoice JEX
Make this setting in Customizing for Logistics u2013 General, by choosing Taxes on Goods Movements ® India ® Business Transactions ® Outgoing Excise Invoices ® Assign Billing Types to Delivery Types.
The item category NLN (standard transport order) so that it is relevant for billing
You do this in Customizing for Sales and Distribution (SD), by choosing Sales ® Sales Documents ® Sales Document Item.
    Process Flow
    - You create the sales order, following the standard procedure.
The standard pricing procedures for depot sales are J1INDEP (condition-based excise determination) and JDEPOT (formula-based excise determination).
    - You create the delivery, again, following the standard procedure.
    - You assign excise invoices to the delivery or material document.
    - You verify that you have selected the correct excise invoices and post them. Alternatively, if you have selected the wrong excise invoices, you can cancel the assignment.
    - You create the invoice, following the standard procedure.

  • Query-Price control, Depot as Plant, Rejection Store

    Hi SAP Gurus
Pl clarify the below mentioned query:
    1. Can price control be changed from moving avg price to std price or vice versa? What if transactions have been done, stock is available, material movement done.
    2. What are the benefits of defining sales depot as plant? What if sales depot is defined as depot only. (We have cash sale from depot.)
    3. What is the need of defining separate rejection store? Can we avoid it even if in our production process rejection is generated.
    Regards'
    Manoj Gupta

    Hi,
    For point 1.
You do nnot need to use MR21 to change the price control from V to S or from S to V. The system will allow this change even if there is stock or if there are open POs etc. The price will not be changed it will just change the control.
There are two scenarios where restrictions may apply. Firstly the material type may have been configured to only allow one (V OR S) and so you could not change one of these materials without changing the config of the material type. The other scenario is for "split valuated" materials, you cannot set the main accounting view to an S if the material is split valuated. Other than this the change of price control can be done at any time.
Points 2 and 3 are IS retail specific and so I cannot comment fully on these, but you need to try to map these correctly. Try to look at the functionality that will be used at each and determine which you would lose by choosing each option. For instance if it was not a retail system I prefer to use Plants instead of storage locations for different sites because this is the way that SAP designed the system. I DON'T just use storage locations simply because the master data is easier to maintain, that would lead to a loss of functionality.

  • Depots to plants planning

    Hi Experts,
In my scenario client wants to do reorder point planning at 3 depots on a daily basis whereby purchase requisitions for FGs will be generated if the stocks fall below a certain level, At the same time on a bi-monthly basis depending on forecast at depot level, MRP would be run at 2 manufacturing plants to generate planned orders for 2 months. Please tell whether strategy 40 and special procurement key 50 may be applied here to do bi-monthly planning at depots and plants as well as daily replenishment for depots from plants?

  • Different stock between Acount view and Plant stock in MM03

    Hello Experts,
In MM03 Acount view,  I found the Total stock is 1, but in plant stock view, I found the stock is Zero.
There is not really any physcial invnetory so it must be a problem on the report.
And on mm03 that it was only on the finacial view screen that stock showed, it does not show on the normal stock screens.
What cause this difference? and How to clear the stock from the financial view?
    Thanks

    Hi
Please run MB5K for the problem material. If it shows difference, then there might be inconsistency between accounting stock and plant(storage location) stock. If that is the case, physical inventory can't help. The correction(direct table update) is necessary and can only be done by SAP.
    Hope the information helps.

  • Stock transfer order between 2 plants in same company code

    Dear All,
We have the requirement, where in the stock tranfer order (between 2 plants in same company code) instead of Material valuation price, MAP/Standard (depends on Price Control) gets picked up from supplying plant ,user should be able to enter its own price while creating stock transfer order.
For fullfilling this requirement, I have created new condition type(where i have changed condition category from internal price "G" to "H" - Basic Price)
Instead of using condition type- P101 in the stock transfer pricing,I have used above created new condition type, in pricing procedure then also while doing the post good issue against the outbound delivery( move type-"641", moving average is getting picked up.
Can you please tell, where is the setting where we can make the system to consider manual given price while creating the stock transfer order instead of picking moving average price.
Its very Important requirement ,please Provide valuable Inputs else provide some alternative.
    Thanks & Regards
    Nitin Chhabra

Stock Transfer Order between Plants in the same Company Cpde are not relevant for pricing, as there is no billing. Billing only takes place between company codes. As same company code it would be like selling something to yourself - it doesn't make sense.  The stock value in the receiving Plant depends on the price contol there. If standard price, then you must enter the price when creating the material or use material revaluation to change it. When you transfer the material from the issuing plant, the value there will be transferred. In case of standard price any difference is posted to stock transfer differences. If using MAP then the value will be transferred from the issuing Plant in full.
If you use costing with standard price in main plant, then it is possible that you can transfer the cost from the main plant to the second plant, by using special procurement key for costing.

  • STO. How to create the stock in transit if the plant has been block.

Problem with STO. How to clear the stock in transit if the plant has been block.

The command builder takes a Select SQL and automatically creates a Insert, Update, and Delete SQL commands.  The database could have Insert priviledge and not Updates and Delete priviledges. But I don't think this is causing the problem.  I suspect
the Orcacle Client handled an exception that wasn't returned to you code and the client is in an invalid state.  You may need call a new constructor for the client.  I would check the Control Panel : Adminsitrative Tools : Event Viewer to see if
there were any error messages created when you ran the application.

  • How to tranfor stock from 1200 to 1300 plant,

How to tranfor stock from 1200 to 1300 plant, we will shift the production line and materials to 1300 plant.furtherly we wont produce any material in plant 1200 so how can tranfer the stock in SAP ?

    Hi ,
Use T code MIGO or MB1B for transfer from on plant to other .
Use the movement type 301 for 1 step transfer .
Use movement type 303 followed by 305 for 2 step transfer .
Consult your MM counter part for the same as you wont be having the requisite authorization i guess.

    Hi Satish,
You can see open stock transfer quantity in MB5T and stock value in MB5L. If you want to make stock transfer, there is two types intra company transfer(with in same company code) and inter company transfer (different company codes).
Steps for Intra company stock transfer:
This is only within the comp.code(w/o SD)
(w/o SD) 351101 MvT. and (with SD) 641101
    1. Mat.(1434)should be maintained in both the plants.(@1000&1100).
    2. Should have enough stock in supplying plant(1000).
    3. Make its supplying plant as a vendor in vendor master record in receiving plant(1100).
    4. Make it receiving plant as a customer in customization.
Create customer (xd01) & and define the shipping data for plants in both the plants.
Path: spro u2013 img u2013 material mgmt u2013 purchasing u2013 po u2013 set up STO u2013 define shipping data
    (1 by1 )
    In Receiving plant (1100)
    Customer num. 123345 (for ex.)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    In Supplying plant (1000)
    Customer num. -
    (don't fill)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    5. Assign doc. Type is "NL" for intra company STO. If STO is inter company, Assign doc. Type is "NLCC".
    Position doc type is "UB"
    Enter supplying plant(1000) & doc type (NL)&checking rule (ex:01)
6.Assign doc. Type is "UB" to u'r plants.(PO)
    Go for new entries
Enter supplying plant(1000) & Receiving plant (1100)&doc type (UB).
    7. Create a PO, choose the doc type is 'UB' & item cat.'U', Enter supplying plant as a vendor in PO of the receiving plant(1100).
    8. Provide this num (PO) to SD people, they will do the delivery by using transactional code is VL10B.
    9. Sales people they will provide "out bound delivery num".
    10. Do the GR. In GR the second tab 05 outbound delivery instead of PO mov.type 101.
    11. See the stock overview in the receiving & supplying plants.
    Steps for Inter company Transfer:
    1) Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure, In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
    2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
    3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
    6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group, Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination, Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receiving Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.
