Hi Andrew,
Did you get to a solution with this one. I'm having a bit of fun ?? attempting to configure a 7110 box for windows and solaris access. My workaround has been to grant full root permissions to all and sundry for now (far from ideal).
The inheritence for windows users is the easy bit, as soon as I create files/folders over NFS or add a domain group into the ACL, I run into issues either reading the ACL from the solaris side or indeed accessing the directory.
Have you come across any documentation for solaris/windows interoperability?
Any help/advice appreciated.

The other option is you can remove it using jquery code. You need to do is put below code in CEWP on your list from.

Final bill is incorrect and being threatened with ...

I moved to PlusNet for broadband and phone in November. I paid my November bill, which actually left BT owing me money, and cancelled my direct debit. Good thing I did as they decided to keep charging me and now three months later are still chasing me for £50 I don’t owe them. I called every month as each new bill arrived to try and sort it but was assured each time to ignore the bill and it would be sorted out. It's now February and I am being threatened by email "We'll pass your details to a debt collection agency, which could affect your credit rating and any future credit." BT.
I have no more confidence in BT’s call centres now so I am emailing, tweeting and posting on forums to desperately try and get this sorted out. Please please can someone within BT answer me and finally give me some resolution?
All bill and phone call details below:
Broadband transfer date – 27th Nov
Telephone line transfer date – 12th Dec
Last paid Bill was on 21st Nov for the period 11th Nov to 10th Dec (You can see this over pays when both service are combined)
Dates called after receiving on-going incorrect monthly bills:
13th Dec at 13:44 – Told to ignore the incorrect bill and await a final one that I was assured would resolve the error.
12th Jan at 10:43 – This time I was transferred to Luke in the UK based Customer Options Team. I was told my phone line order was incorrectly left active so charges continued past the 12th Dec. Luke told me it would be fixed and back dated so the additional charges for phone and late payment charges removed. Told to await a corrected final bill.
26th Jan at 13:37 – Received a bill in the post still asking for £50 which included late payment charges and called BT customer service. I was assured this was still not my final bill and I would get a correct one soon.
19th Feb 19:52 – I received another bill electronically along with a threatening email. I immediately called customer service and was speaking to a customer representative when the line went to a ringing tone mid sentence. I was then greeted by an automated message saying that the office was now closed and to call back tomorrow. What an awful customer experience.

Cannot use Set-Acl properly despite being file owner and being a member of Administrators Group.

Situation:
- Running powershell with administrator privileges.
- I am the owner of file to be modified.
- Full Control privileges holded by TrustedInstaller.
- Administrators have no modify privilege to change the file.
- i can modify acl of that file by GUI
- I cannot modify acl using Set-Acl snapin.
This is the executed command:

Scroll down to one of the last posts, a long one by barnabya, I tested it and it works. Note that you do not have to execute the bits at the very end to take ownership of the file if the account you're using is already the owner, but you DO need to
run all three bits to establish SeBackupPrivilege, SeRestorePrivilege, and SeTakeOwnershipPrivilege before running the get-acl | set-acl command.

Created by and modified by for a item

when we create a list item we can change the created by and modified by like this :

but we we upload a file to document library, we will get two columns Document Created by and Document Modified by.
the type of these two columns are text .

I want to know a Sales order whol created it, and who modified it , which time modifed. What can I do?

Hi,
Go to VA02, then select Environment -> Changes -> Click on Additional Info .
If you want to check a particular line item , you can put the item number in the Item field.
Otherwise if you want to look at the entire order changes, then just leave it blank and click on execute.
Now double click on any of the action and you would be able to see the previous and the changed value.

Users created through script - and being provisioned through another way

Hi,
I have users from partners, being created by me and also being provisioned by Oracle Channel.
Ones I delete mine, the others get deleted from the system - and not just from my folders etc.
Is there a way that we can prevent the deletion form the Workspaces that had been created & provisioned by the Channel Manager?

Odd. Bert should be OK even if you delete the first Workspace.
The way BeehiveOnline works this would only happen if you removed Bert from the group and thereby removed his rights to access any content.
A normal workspace setup would be a single workspace - controlled by the system - named GroupName_Workspace with all the members of the group in it.
If you now create a second or third workspace you can select to add users from your group to these workspaces - taking them in or out of the workspaces should have no effect - it is the Group and associated ACL structure that governs access. The only way this may happen is if you use the workspace A.participants group to add members to Workspace B. Removing Workspace A will remove the Workspace A.participants group from Workspace B - or at least make it empty if not removed - same effect.
So does that make sense? There must be something else going on with Bert that is not obvious from your description.

Replenishment random storage -TO is not being created

I am implementing the same above process for random storage.I have configured everything as mentioned above and made sure the stock is available for replenishment.For some reason the Replenishment TO not being created during the picking confirmation.
My random storage is SU managed.This storage type needs to be replenished from an open storage which is not SU managed. Is there any probem in the pelletization during the TO creation? Did i do something wrong having the random storage as SU managed?

Check the following (masterdata):
- the material must created for the replen st as well
- enter your max bin qty, min bin qty, round qty, replen qty
Chek the following config:
- Define Stock Transfers & Replenishment control
- Define Replenishment Control for Storage Type - Make sure you have "Replen Method" = 2. Did you specify a replen movement type? If not, I would suggest this...keeps everything tidy.
I remember from my initial testing that it didn't work, because my stock level was already below my min stock level. I added stock to my ST and moved it out again (with LT10 for testing) to a different ST. The replen TO was created automatically.
Let me know how it goes.

The latest update has resulted in a runtime error (R6034) and I keep being told Microsoft Visual C Runtime Library is being accessed incorrectly. Anyone know how to overcome the problem? I am using a Dell Inspiron 9400 running Vista.

The latest update to itunes has resulted in a whole series of runtime errors (R6034). Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library states it is being accessed incorrectly. I am also told that Apple Mobile Device Failed to Start. Additional messages suggest the error is in itunes.exe and ituneshelper.exe. I also get Error 7 (Windows error 1114). Anyone got any ideas how to overcome this (these) problems?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Local and Roaming profiles not being created

Hello all,
I'm in need of help and I wondered if there was anyone out there with some suggestions.
The problem is that one of our sites has Netware 5 and Zfd3.2 and there are no longer any roaming profiles or local profiles being created. Volatile user is not used. Roaming profiles go to the users home directory. All file rights are fine. DLU is still working. Novell client on W2K workstations is 4.90. All other sites appear to be OK.
I suspected that the user policy was at fault and so created a test user package and associated a test user to it = same result.
I have checked from top to bottom and compared all settings to other sites and can see no difference or anything unusual. I've been working on this for 2 days now and I'm going grey and bald.
Any suggestions anyone?
I'll buy a pint for anyone with the answer - LOL.

Itunes 11 shows zero photos in Aperture and ApertureData.xml not being created in library

I've tried to do some trouble shooting of this problem. I've rebuilt permissions, I've repaired and rebuilt the Aperture library, I've made sure sharing previews is always for iLife and iWork, I've created a new library, switched to it and switched back and I can't get iTunes to see my albums and pictures from my iPhoto library when I try to sync through Aperture. What I have found is when I created the new temporary library and loaded one pic into it, a file in the package contents called ApertureData.xml is created, which isn't created in the iPhoto libary, it has AlbumData.xml. iTunes does recognize the temp library and photo. I deleted the AlbumData.xml, but it was just recreated. It seems Aperture is supposed to be creating a file that it isn't. Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to migrate from iPhoto to using Aperture exclusively to manage photos and sync with devices. All software is up to date. Thanks.

in case anyone searches and finds this question, but importing by iphoto library to aperture into a new library, I fixed the problem. I do not know how to fix the original issue of the aperturedata.xml not being created in the origianl iphoto library.

Are you sure the settings are correct? Did you check the outgoing mail server setting? Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.
