Storage Display Issue: Displays amount as "EB"?

I have a couple questions regarding the storage or files on my hard drive.
1st of all you'll notice for movies it says "EB" What in the world could cause this?
Also I have 313GB of backups. Why? I backup using Time Machine to an "external" drive. Why would it be on my actual internal HD? How can I investiage this.
I am using "Disk Inventory X" to look at the files and which are taking up space but I can't find a reason for the two questions above.

Lets first with you last question: iPhone backups are saved in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ not in your iTunes Library.
Now regarding a setting up a new Mac.
I would be sure to have a good backup of your current system/
I would make a bootable backup with Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper!
It would be interesting to boot such a backup on your current machine and see if the Movies are still reported in EB.
This might not tell anything decisive if they are still reported in EB, but if they are not then you now that your system is fine and you have, in essence, escaped some anomaly in the structure of your current boot disk.
If you have the storage I'd also have a Time Machine backup.
On getting a new Mac I would use Setup Assistant when you first boot it and if you have a time machine backup I'd use that as the source. See: Setting-up a new Mac from an old one, its Backups, or a PC
While you still have your old Mac, you can test the resulting migrated system to see if it is working OK.
If not then you can revert to manually copying your stuff.
That's what I'd do, but others would say take the "bare" system that comes with the new Mac and manually copy/install just wjhat you need and leave all the old, unused cruft on the old system/ This assumes of course that you no which is which.

How to display amount in words in the last page

Hi,
I am very new to Oracle Report, but v.good experience in Crystal report.
How can i display amount in words for an invoice amount total in the last page of the invoice and after total amount. I created a new non repeating frame and put the amount in words inside that, and set the frames diplay property Print on Last Page, but the problem is already there is a repeating frame to print all the invoices item, and the total in figure. But the amount in words frame is not always coming after the total amount,either it should be at the bottom of the last page in fixed position, otherwise it should move just below the total amount.
I am using Oracle 11g.

Today I received the same message but have 4.6gb available from a total of 5.0gb. I also received the same message when i first set up my icloud account and icloud was virtually empty. Movies Storage displaying Incorrect amount of used storage

When I checked my storage ( Via About This Mac) on my macbook I was surprised to see that it is "using" 102 GB in Movies. However, when I went to my finder and clicked "get info" on the movies tab, I found that is has only used 9 GB.
What surprises me most is that it was showing correct use of storage last week! Why is it showing such huge memory space and how can I fix this?

Download OmniDiskSweeper (free) from the Internet. It will show all of you files and the respective sizes. This may aid you in determining the discrepancy.

Help! Incorrect storage display

Hi everyone,
Looking for help with my MacBook Air:
I just deleted 2 big folders, approx. 13GB each, emptied the trash ... and the amount of free space available on the SSD does not change :-s
14,11GB remaining before emptying the trash, still 14,11GB after emptying the trash.
What I already did:
- check the storage with About this mac > More info > Storage. It says 14,11GB. Backups says "0kb".
- verify & repair SSD with Disk Utility. First time, DU found some corrupted files and repaired them. I've tried to verify and repair a dozen of times after that and nothing changes, that's to say DU says everything is fine ...
- reboot on another drive and use DU. Same result.
- switch on / off Time Machine. No change.
So ... any suggestions?

Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size with the largest at the top. It may take a few minutes for ODS to finish scanning your files.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal.

Storage displaying wrong information

Hello Guys,
I have something funny for us today.
So i had BootCamp windows partition of 20Gb.
Used disk utility to delete the partition and resize disk to full space.
Now i have 2 issues:
1 - About this Mac - Storage is displaying the following information:
Funny right, 600Gb on a 120Gb drive.
(Apple you can do stuff i would deem impossible)
2 - When i check Macintosh HD - Get Info it tells me i am ocupying 60Gb, wich is not true and i have confirmed with OmniDiskSweeper, only 40Gb are occupied.
The first one is only annoying, the second one worries me.
I have already:
- SMC;
- PRAM;
- Disk Utility
Repair Disk Permissions
Repair Disk
- Power OFF/ON;
I would like to avoid Erase and Reinstall.
I do have a Time Machina Backup.
Any ideas?

Incorrect storage displayed

Hi
I've noticed the the device memory bar on the storage scene in settings is displaying the wrong information. The bar shows i have used 3/4 of my internal memory, mainly as app. However the amount shown as available on the same screen shows 9.3MB. Also in device facts (under the diagnostics menu ) it shows that i have only used 2.3GB. I think the problem comes from my use of the sd storage feature on google music. The music files are definitely saved on the sd card. The phone seems to recognise this itis just this status bar that is misreading the information. Will this cause me problems? Can i fix it? Or should i just ignore it?

Error when displaying amount field in HTMLB Tableview

Hi all,
I am displaying some 'X' table in HTMLB Tableview and it has one amount field.But reference(currency) field of that amount field is in other table . I know it gives the error.
Please tell me there is any other way to resolve this problem with out adding reference(currency)field in the same table?

It will not give any error , you can use the currency key field of other table or structure .
Alternatively you can use predifined type DEC instaed of CURR .

ALV: How to display amount respective to currency format in ALV?

Hi All,
Normally in ALV, to display the amount respective to its currency, we just simply pass the currency field(coming from the t_outtab of FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY) to CFIELDNAMEof ALV field catalog.
For ordinary currencies with 2 decimal places, like USD, etc, it will work fine.
But for currencies like KWD and IDR, their decimal place is always 3 via SAP standard definition in transaction OY04.
Given this, ALV field catalog CFIELDNAME cannot handle as such automatic formatting.
Is there any other way without using the code below?
WRITE <amount_field_name> CURRENCY <currency_field_name>.

I am diplaying a amount in words for sub-total value after each document number.
Can any one suggest how to display text for sub-total value not for Grand total?
I want subtotal at each material for each document number and want to display that subtotal amount in words.

Condition types. does not display amount

Dear all,
I have maintained condition types (PR00,KF00,K007). But on the VA01 screen, total amount does not display. For example:PR00=5 eur+KF00=0,5eur =5,5eur and K007 discount for customer 10% of 5,5eur=0,55eur. Here it does not show amount 4,95eur.
What should I do?
