Storage location Collective entry

Dear SAPpers,
the client asks me to enter a collective entry for storage location and storage bin with the Tcode MMSC. I did it but the main issue is that i did a mistake by entering a wromg storage bin in the field. The field is actually grey and i woukd like to delete it. Which transaction code do i need?

    I believe you will have to activate the settings for STO between storage location, in the setup stock transport order config, Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations, do the settings,read the IMG documentation if you need help in setting this up.

    Hi
    My client requirement is, at the time of creation of Material Master, System will ask for Storage Location.Without Storage Location, Icann't create Material Master.
    Even if I'll select Plant and Storage LOcation View & Warehouse View, System is not asking the storage Location.
    Can anybody suggest me where I'll set the setting so that system will ask for Storage Location mandatory in Material Master.

    Thanks for your reply.Before Posting the thread, I've already checked these Views what you told.But system is not asking me to enter storage location.
    You can check in your system.
    System only asking for plant not storage location.Even if we select warehouse view, system is not asking for Storage Location view.

  • Purchase Order - Issue storage location set mandatory entry

    Hello All,
    When create subcontracting PO, want to set the field of Issue storage location as mandatory.
    I tried to find configuration "Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order-->Define Screen Layout at Document Level", but there is not entry "Issue storage location" to set the screen layout field.
    I searched previous threads, but only find some to mention issue storage location for STO. Now, I just use subcontracting PO that is same as NB document type.
    Please your kind suggestion or any method to set  Issue storage location as mandatory in PO.

    Please, could you re-check it again, I have found storage location and issue storage location fields under define fields for fields selection group.
    Under Field selection group NBF Purchase order
    Selection group                    supplying plant
    Issue storage location required entry chose
    Under Field selection group NBF Purchase order
    Selection group                    Basic data item
    Storage location   required entry chose 
    After this setting, I can be find this storage location fields as Mandatory.

  • How to extend material in storage location automatically???

    Dear Gurus,
    We have 9 plants in this company.
    Every time we create a material we have to extend it in all plants.
    Because it takes to long to do this one by one with MM01 we use mm17 and we created there a variant that extends the materials in all plants automatically.
    Then we have 3 storage locations for each plant. we use MMSC: enter storage locations collectively, to extend each the material in all the storage locations of the company 9x3 = 27. This takes too long as a procedure.
    Is there a way to automate this procedure, via rutines, codes, variants, ABAP etc??? and how should I do that??

    In customization spro>>MM>>inventory management>>Plant parameters>>select your plant >>click on create storage location automatically
    click that one, if your not extended the material to the particular storage location and doing the goods receipt to the particular storage location  system  will allow you to do that

  • Warning message: Storage location entries exist

    When I run program MMREO050 to ARchive Materias I receive this warning message:
    MARC:  0000000000650515  7301 dependet storage location entries exist.
    For reference:
    650515=article number
    7301= plant
    And if I check MARC, the article is set for deletion.
    Mainly, my doubt is to understand what exactly that warning message means.

  • Tables:Linking excise part1 table entries with relevant storage location

    I want to link the excise table entries to the relevant storage location at the time of excise relevant goods movement ( includes , GR , consumption & returns etc)

    All excise related tables you will get by entering J_1i* in  table name and press F4 in SE16.

  • Storage location entry in ASN is not reflected in MD04 screen

    Hi Gurus,
    We are using scheduling agreements with confirmations (ASN) . For some business reason we change the storage in inbound delivery created against the SA . However change effect of storage location  is not reflected in MD04 .
    In MD04 screen storage location is getting defaulted from the scheduling agreement .
    Why the system is not considering the storage location from the inbound delivery ?

    Indeed it will appear in MD04 if you change in SA. However I don`t want do that , in certain cases only I want change at IBD level which should reflect in MD04. Is there a way to achieve this ?

    Is there any standard report to view opening and closing stock at storage location level? ( we have MB5B which resets the entry screen if we enter SLOC details).

    Do  I have the option of  selecting Storage Location wise opening and closing stock on a particular date or period, that is what I have requested? Is it possible, evenafter selecting storageloc/batch stock and entering all the SLOCs in the selection creen, the report output does not contain any SLOC, and using ctrl+F8 or display variant does not have SLOC as a field also.

    I am on an implemenation where the integration is between CRM, EWM and GATP. So, consider the situation where the sales order check is done through CRM and a call to GATP is made.
    Some background on supply
    EWM would like to receive the goods into storage location ROD (Received On Dock) and then do a movement type to move it to storage location AFS (Available For Sale). The sales orders should consider only the supply from storage location AFS and not ROD.
    First question is, is it possible to do a storage location level determination in CRM? I don't think so but wanted to confirm. The reason is because even a plant determination is not possible in CRM when you integrate with GATP (the plant is determined through Rules).
    Now, suppose that we have determined the storage location called AFS (in gATP through enhancement) and will do an ATP only at that level in GATP. Suppose that the first plant that will be checked is Plant A and then based on the location determination procedure, the next plant that will be checked is Plant B. When the system checks supply at Plant B, then the question is this: will it still check only at storage location AFS in Plant B or will it check at the plant level? The requirement will be to check at the same storage location level (which means that whatever process we used to determine the storage location at Plant A has to be followed for Plant B also).
    One option that can be considered is to check at the Storage Location MRP Area level (there seems to be better support for RBA and Storage Location MRP Area than just storage location). See SAP Note 412314. But this is also complicated.
    Another option is to not check at the storage location level but represent the various stocks with stock types (stock type ROD and stock type AFS) and only the stock type AFS will be used in the list of ATP categories.
    Please share any experience that you may have in this.

    What we did is as follows:
    - We created a Z table which had entries for all plants and preferred storage locations for those plant (only one entry per plant) in your case it will be like:
    Plant A - AFC
    Plant B - AFC
    Plant C - AFC
    - We used a ATP user exit in APO to get the storage location of source plant ( which was determined in APO via rules) from the Z table.

  • Profit centre at storage location level

    Hi Experts,
    Can we define a profit centre @ storage location level?
    My scenario :
    The document splitting of FI is activated for the document type of FI and also the profit centre is mandatory entry for any accounting document that will be created so when I am trying to post a MIGO I encounter the error
    "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled"
    We have a option of maintaining a profit centre in plant data/storage location but i will be updated in the profit centre field of Costing1 view . But we does not want to upadate in costing view of material master data.
    Basically We want the system to determine profit centre based on storage location  in Goods reciept transaction .
    Helpful Sugestions on this would be helpful & rewarded max .

    Our Enterprise Structure of our Client is as follows
    One company code is assigned to one plant and we have treated all the branches across India as Storage locations.Each  Branch (Storage Location- MM) is configured as Profit centres in FICO.The goods are procured for a storage location.
    By using the functionality of document splitting, the profit center field is made mandatory for all the accounting documents generated in the system. Now we are trying to post a goods receipt against a Purchase Order, the system is giving error "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled"
    The option is there to maintain a profit center at the plant level.But we have several storage locations under the plant and each storage location has to be linked with the particular profit center. So that, while doing goods receipt the system should determine profit centre based on the storage location in purchase orders.
    Please suggest on this.

  • No Stock value at Storage location level in BW report

    I am facing problem in getting stock valuation at storage location level.
      The problem is that, in R/3 Stock valuation is done at plant level, when we do storage location to storage location movement , only stock quantity gets changed and no FI entry is getting generated . So there is no movement of stock values at all. when we load this transaction data into BW , obviously i will arrive with wroung value . so what to do in this case ?

  • BADI for storage location restriction in IW32

    Dear All,
    I am working on one scenario in this user has to get the error message :-
    1. Whenever he doesn't enter the Storage Location in Component Tab (in IW32) and also he should not be able to save the Maintenance Order.
    2. There is ZTABLE (ZTPM058) , if there is no entry of the Storage location in the ZTABLE then also he should get the error.
    I have used the BADI BADI_DI_PCS2_1 to do this but the problem is when the user enter the component manually then it works fine , but when he selects the component from List button (it is in the bottom of the component tab screen) , then this BADI doesn't work correctly.
    Basically when the user selects component from List  then it should first put data into the component tab and then give the error . but this is not happening.
    Please suggest what can be done.

    Go to IMG-->Logistics Execution >Shipping> Picking -->Determine Picking Location -->Define Rules for Picking Location Determination.  There you have to assign the MALA rule to your delivery type
    Also maintain in OMJ8 and in material master under MRP2 view the default storage location in the field "Prod. stor. location"

    Your requirements are standard & can be met.
    Automatic/default Shipping Point:
    Go to IMG - logistics execution - shipping - basic shipping functions - Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination - Define Shipping Conditions.
    You enter the shipping conditions in the customer master - sales area data - shipping screen. Also in the sales document type configuration in VOV8, you can enter the shipping point. If you enter the shipping point in the sales document then this entry will overwrite the entry of the customer master.
    Go to IMG - logistics execution - shipping - basic shipping functions - Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination - Define Loading Groups.
    You enter the loading group in the material master - sales: general/plant data screen.
    Go to IMG - logistics execution - shipping - basic shipping functions - Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination - Assign Shipping Points.
    Here you will find as under:
    Shipping conditions + Loading group + Plant = Shipping Point.
    Default Storage location:
    Go to IMG - logistics execution - shipping - picking - Determine Picking Location - Define Storage Conditions.
    Here you define the storage conditions which you enter in the material master - General Plant Data / Storage screen.
    Now go to IMG - logistics execution - shipping - picking - Determine Picking Location - Assign Picking Locations.
    Here you will find as under:
    Shipping Point + Plantb + Storage conditions = Storage location.
    Maintain the data in the customer as well as material master correctly & the assignments should be as per the data maintained. Then whenever you will create a sales order, the system will determine the default shipping point & the storage location.
