Storage locations on FIFO basis

Hi,
Requirement is:
There are 4-5 storage locations where Finished MAterial comes in. Now how to automatically pick storage locations based on FIFO of material in storage location.

This is achieved very easily if you have activated Warehouse Management and because of the Strategy either FIFO & LIFO you can determine automatically.

    1 . has somebody can tell me where i can find the confirmed qty ? is it in VBEP-BMENG ?
    2 . how to know one material in one storage location's available quantity and confirmed quantity and received quantity ?
    3 . has somebody can tell me where i can find the soft commit & hard commit qty fields ?
    4 . is the field in table MARD named UMLME[Stock in transfer (from one storage location to another)] for transfer in or out ?

  • Storage location on basis of Plant in organization level in MM01

    Hello,
    Here is the scenario.. I select a material in mm01 and click on the 'Organization Level' tab. In this tab(on the basis of view selection, i get Plant and Storage Location) , i give in a Plant, lets say suppose 1000. Now if i press F4 on the Storage location, instead of displaying all the location, can it display the stor.location of the specific plant, i.e 1000. Is this possible and if yes and then how to do it ?

  • MRP Areas on storage location Basis

    Hi,
    I created some MRP areas for different storage locations, and assigned those MRP Areas to material(MRP 1 View). Every thing looks fine as of now.
    1)Now when I have seen some forums, I seen Convert planning file entries (SE38 program RMDBVM00), I never done conversion of planning files, can any one tell me what is the importance of it? I didn't done conversion of planning files, will that have any impact on MRP Run.

    As expert Caetano has said repeatedly, of course it will affect the MRP run.
    The whole purpose of having Development, Quality, and Production systems is to ensure that any changes made in software do not disrupt your business.  In any sane environment, you first perform your changes (such as converting your planning file entries) in dev, and perform unit testing.  Once you have convinced yourself that the change is worthy of testing, you then move the changes to Qual, where typically your company performs Integration and User Acceptance testing.  Only after the business community and the IT community have tested and are satisfied with the results, should you then perform the changed process in Production.
    In short, you shouldn't be asking us in SCN when it is OK to perform the activity in the Productive system, you should be following your company's 'change management' processes, which usually involve, at a minimum, asking your company's user community if the change is acceptable to them.

    In the HEADDATA structure, STORAGE_VIEW should also be set as 'X' , in order to update storage location data
    for example
    BAPI_HEAD-STORAGE_VIEW = 'X'.
    Also, PUR_STATUS corresponds to field MARA-MSTAE whose domain has value table T141, therefore values in the field are checked against T141

  • Stock valuation down to Storage location level

    Dear all,
    System setup for stock valuation is till Plant level. And understand that's how data stored in table MBEW and MBEWH until plant level only.
    Eventhough that is system standrd, is that possible to get the stock valuation until Storage location level?
    For eg: In MB5B, there is opening stock, closing stock and the material movement posting. I need to get opening and closing stock for each storage location.
    Could you please comment if there are tables store these data? Kindly comment.

    Thanks for your reply. Understand from the previous post that stock valuation for storage location can be done via table MARDH or report MC.9, but this tools are excess base on period/month basis.
    My case, i need to report storage location stock for both (1)last month 06.2010 and (2)yesterday's stock 06.07.2010. So i can use MARDH table to report (1)last month stock for each storage location. While for (2) yesterday stock, table MARDH isn't help.
    Could you please advice further?

    Could we storage location determine at sales order level ?
    As per my requirement. Stock is available a particular plant example below

    Got order from customer is 15 Quantities and the sale order is confirmed because stock is available but at the time of delivery storage location is determined on the particular material so batch is picked automatically on base quantity other other is showing open. So could u plz give me solution for storage location determination on sales order level.

    2 . how to know one material in one storage location's available quantity and confirmed quantity and received quantity ?
    3 . has somebody can tell me where i can find the soft commit & hard commit qty fields ?
    4 . is the field in table MARD named UMLME[Stock in transfer (from one storage location to another)] for transfer in or out ?

    As per my understanding it is not possible in a single Table.
    If this is required for customized Z report then use this logic it may gives the correct information.
    In the combination of MARD and MBEW.. From MBEW you can get the value for each Base Unit of Measure then multiply that value with storage location stock.
    It may usefull to u..in the mean time i will try for some other option.

    Hi,
    Stock statement storage location wise can be get, by using T-Code MB5B.
    But Quantity can be gettable on storage location basis. However value can be gettable on Plant level.
    First you have to take the plant stock on any particular date in which you can get Plant Qty and Plant Value. Please divide Plant value by Plant Qty, you can get Rate of each material. After that take storage location wise stock and multiply with Rate.
    Please note that in SAP prices are maintained on Plant level basis. Hence, it is a small workaround.
    Secondly you get Monthend Stock of any month at storage location level with value using T-code mc.9

    hi experts,
    We have recently extracted Inventory Data from ECC to BW System, and client was reconciling the data in 0IC_C03.
    we have extracted from 2lis_03_bx,2lis_03_bf and 2lis_03_um.
    and for the Valuations which 2LIS_03_UM-->0IC_C03  client is saying that there is no Storage Location, Stocktype, Batch number.There is no "storage location" for valuations, this means that if you search on a storage location you will miss price changes. so we need storage location to be filled out in the cube.
    The same goes for batch number, stock type and Base Unit of measure.
    What is the solution to achieve this? Last month only we have initialized the data and delta loads are happening everyday.
    instead of enhancing the data source can we change in the Transformations level to get Storage location,Stocktype,Batch number and 0BASE_UOM.
    if i have to enhance the data source do i need to take downtime and Initialize the delta again.
    please provide me the solution..

    Is there a standard SAP report that will give me the stock information based on the storage location and stock type (unrestricted, QI, blocked, etc?)...for instance if I want to find all QI stock in a certain plant/storage location?  I want it to show a list of materials and their quantities, not on an individual basis as in MMBE.

    Thanks again for your response.  I've used your last mentioned method before but with MMBE you have to enter a material number.  We want a report of all materials in a particular stock type.
    I was able to achieve this by goign to MB52 and setting up a filter on a layout.  My users can now select that filter on the selection screen to get the desired result.

    .by MB1B T.Code.But System takes 1,001.96gms  automatically. *( movement type 911  E ) (  they want to post in units EA )*
    Solution : In material master data classification tab given material conversion so when we raise mb1b then automatically it is converted to GRAMS
    Is it correct ?

    sorry i dont know une meaning but in material master data in addition tab they maintain conversion from EA to Gram.
