Store a reference PO number in the ORDR file

We are creating Sales orders based on purchase orders that are sent via EDI x12 850 documents.  I need to store the purchase order number somewhere in the sales order document (ORDR table).  Where should I store the PO Number, so that I can return it on Invoices?  Do I need to create a user defined field?
Thanks,

Hello.
I think that user field is the best way to do that.
Other way is that You can export documents to XML and then import if You want.
Hope it helps

  • Add serial number in the report file name when using batch process model

        I would like to append a string containing the current UUT serial number to the base name of the report file. For example, uut_report.html becomes uut_report[SN000001].html. This setting is not available if I use NI BatchModel.seq as my process model.
    Thanks!

  • Random Number in the Transformation File

    Hi All,
    I need to send a random number while mapping from one xsd to other in the xsl file . The random number should be alpha numeric with 5 chartacters. I tried using generate-guid() but it generates 32 characters. How do u i shrink this to 5 characters and still get a random value?
    Thanks
    MJ

    Just to add,
    the above mentioned function does not generate integers. For that u need to truncate the output of random to integer as below
    SELECT TRUNC(dbms_random.value(10000, 99999)) FROM dual;

  • How to find dynamically the current line number in the source file

    Don't know - but others have asked too. Have you searched the forum? For example:

  • Is it possible to reference environment variables in the .properties files?

    Here’s what I’d like to do…
    In the application.properties files, I tell OPA where the docgen server is via this setting:
    # Location of the Document Generation Server
    plugin.docgen.server.url=http://bipDev/document-generation-server/
    Note that this is the setting from my Dev environment.
    Because I have separate DocGen servers for each environment, I have to maintain separate copies of this file for each environment. For example, my Prod file contains this setting:
    # Location of the Document Generation Server
    plugin.docgen.server.url=http://bipPrd/document-generation-server/
    Notice that it’s a very slight changes. I’d like to use something like this instead:
    # Location of the Document Generation Server
    plugin.docgen.server.url=http://%BIP_SERVER%/document-generation-server/
    Obviously, I’d create an environment variable on each server to accommodate the setting. For example, on my Prod machine, I’d create this environment variable:
    BIP_SERVER = bipPrd

    Unfortunately environment variables cannot be used in the OPA .properties files. The only way to do this is to maintain separate properties for your different environments.

    Hi Sam,
    Title means workflow title coming in the inbox or mail subject ?
    Anyways both the issues can be fixed in the WF itself.
    If you want to change the mail subject check your mail step and provide proper variable.
    for the workitem text you can change it form the task.

  • Free item reference document number not populated in MIGO item screen

    Hi
    I have a requirement where in I would need to populate the reference document number in the MIGO item when I am cancelling a goods receipt in case of free items.
    In standard SAP system we know that it would only be populated when GRbased IV is ticked in PO but in free item PO this is not ticked . So was enquiring if any body knows how we could populate the reference document number at GR cancellation in MIGO item level for free items .

    Hi,
    If you mean the field MSEG-SMBLN, then it is always populated at cancellation, no matter the GR-based IV flag.

  • Return PDF page number from the name of the link in InDesign CS4 JS

    Hi, I need to return pdf page number of the linked file in InDesign.Here what I have so far, but my FilePath comes back undefined, and I am not sure if pageNmuber line would work:
        var myArtBack = app.activeDocument.pages[1].rectangles[0].graphics[0];
        var myArtBackName = myArtBack.itemLink.name;
        var myBackFilePath = myArtBackName.filePath;
        var myPageNumber  = myBackFilePath.PDFAttribute.pageNumber;
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Yulia

    Your first problem is:
    var myBackFilePath = myArtBackName.filePath;
    That should be:
    var myBackFilePath = myArtBack.itemLink.filePath;
    What you should have done is something like:
    var myLink = myArtBack.itemLink;
    var myPageNumber = myLink.parent.pdfAttributes.pageNumber;
    Maybe you need the file path for some other purpose, but that's not the route to information about the PDF graphic (the parent of the link) which has the pdfAttributes property -- property names always start with a lowercase letter.

  • Can Aperture Read the camera's sequential number metedata when naming files

    Before I started using Aperture I would use this naming convention in Bridge to batch rename files and It works great because it avoids duplicate file names and the files are in sequential order
    my last name(Blake)YYYYMMDDfour digit NON RESETTING sequential number, generated by my Nikon D2X. I don't have any duplicate file names unless I shoot more that 9999 images in one day.
    Has anybody found the option to use the camera's generated sequence number in Aperture's file naming scheme. I sure can't. I know that you can set a four digit sequence but that sequence doesn't start where the sequence leaves off in the previous import.
    Thanks
    John
    G4 Powerbook   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    I have two workarounds
    1. Rename the files in bridge after like I have always done and then import the folder as an Aperture project without changing the file names. I use photo mechanic to download the files from the card.
    2. Go to the library smart folders to see what was the last project I imported and check the four digit sequence before the file name extension. Set the sequential counter in Aperture to start at the next sequential number where the last file left off.
    I have to use the four digit sequence instead of using the date and Time sequence. It is very convenient for my clients to give me the four digit sequence when telling me what images they want prints from,etc. Avoids any confusion.
    I did request this feature of using the camera's generated file name in Apple's feedback link for future inhancements.
    thanks for your responses

  • What is the Original File Number?

    When tethering, using the template  " Custom Name - Original File Number "
    is the "Original File Number" referring to the last (4?) numeric characters of the
    filename that is usually written when shooting to a CF card?
    In my case the files to the card are written something like "_W5N_7809"
    Shouldn't I expect the tethered renaming in this case to be "myCustomName - 7809"?

    Your EXIF viewier is reporting the same data twice, in two different formats. It first reports
    -- Camera Actuations: 155608
    and then later reports
    -- Actuation Counter: 24536
    -- Actuation Multiplier: 2
    The actuation count is stored only once in the EXIF data, but is recorded as two 16-bit numbers (max value = 65535). If the lower 16-bit value has rolled over twice, and currently reads 24536, the total value is ( 2 * 65536 ) + 24536 = 155608.

  • Vat code change, EDI file number finding and EDI file structure chage?

    Hello Gurus
    Our client has a plant in Europe, which has a largest supplier. We process electronic invoices to the vendor through a provider OB10 ( private company - invoicing provider ).
    In the transfer of the electronic data to the invoice posting, a VAT code is added to the details, that appears to be pulling from a certain Table in the system.
    I want to know from which tables this field has pulled up to the Invoice?
    In continuation of the process ...I have come across an issue on EDI file structure change. I have provided with the the Idoc numbers of above invoices, from the idoc numbers i need to find out the EDI file number. But when i went to WE02, WE05 with those idoc numbers i couldn't find the EDI file number( Interchange file number ref).
    How can i find the EDI file number and i have to suggest the EDI team for changing the file structure in regard to the VAT code updating according to the Plants abroad function.
    What are the things i need to suggest them exactly in regard to this?
    Please reply me ASAP...
    Thanks
    Mallik

    The table for tax code is T076M - maintainable using T code OBCD.  For EDI file number, execute T Code WE02 - enter IDoc number and execute (F8). In the right window pane, choose select layout -> change layout and pick up the field Interchange file reference. Guess this is what you are looking for.
    OR
    Go to transaction WE02 or WE05 enter Idoc number and choose execute. When Idoc data is displayed double click on Control Record in left pane. Choose Details tab. Interchangable file under References.
    You can also refer the entries in table EDIDC.
    Reference to interchange file:
    This field contains the reference number of the interchange file in which the EDI message was transmitted.

  • "The selected file does not contain audio media ..."

    I'm using Premiere Pro CC in Windows 7. A week ago I created a project using media from an external hard drive. I opened the project today to make changes to it, and a number of the .MTS files show up as missing. When I click on "Link Media" and locate the file -- which shows up as being on the external drive -- I get the following error message: "The selected file does not contain audio media used by clip references in one or more sequences. These audio clip references will be deleted, and cannot be undone. Do you want to continue?" I have canceled out of it because I do not want to damage my project irreparably, but I'm trying to determine the best course of action in re-linking these clips that are essential to the project. (I did apply a Left Fill to all the audio in the project, but I don't know if that would cause a problem, or if it did, how I could remove that effect. I've tried to re-link with several previous autosave versions of the project, only to get the same result.)

  • How to configure the zxp so that it will place the related files for the panel in specific folder other than the usual 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files \Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions\' folder ?

    Hi,
    I am Working on a panel for Adobe Premiere pro CC, Now we got a panel set up which will install all the related folders and files which are part of the Extension content folder in the
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files \Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions \Panel\CONFIG folder. But we need to change this location to C:\Users\USER\APPDATA folder or any other user specified folder during installation itself.
    Is there any way to do this from extension builder?

    Thanks guys,
    Got it !! Hybrid extensions.
    I am using Adobe Extension builder 3 in Eclipse to code and create the zxp for Premiere pro panel.
    Seeing the hybrid extension part in  HTML Panels Tips: #10 Packaging / ZXP Installers | Photoshop, etc. I have added a hybrid extension panel using the bundle manifest editor in the extension builder. it creates an mxi file automatically with all the properties, I have to change the maximum host version number in the mxi file in order to make the extension work in the Premiere pro CC 2014. Using the Hybrid option in the Bundle manifest editor we can choose a set of folder paths for placing the files during installation itself and later can be used using 'csInterface.getSystemPath(SystemPath.CODE)' from javascript functions to modify them.
    Thanks for your relpies,
