Strange margin around CFTEXTAREA

Hello,
I was trying the richtext editor with CFTEXTAREA. Locally
everything works perfect, but when I try it online on a dutch
provider (www.webstekker.nl) I get a strange problem:
There is a margin visible around the editor. To make it extra
visible I put a red backgroundcolor color around it, and you see
that there is a margin in the Iframe of the editor. when I load the
testpage in Firefox, it is even worse. There the entire background
is shining thru the editor. Locally, I have no problem with a
standard installation.
It looks like every script is accessable in the CFIDE folder,
so I'm really puzzled. Does anyone have an idea?
example:
http://www.beau-anne.nl/test.cfm
Src:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript">
<!--
function FCKeditor_OnComplete(editorInstance)
editorInstance.Config["ToolbarSets"]["BasicMin"] = [
['Bold','Italic','Underline'],
['OrderedList','UnorderedList'],
['TextColor','BGColor']
editorInstance.EditorWindow.parent.FCK.ToolbarSet.Load('BasicMin'
//-->
</SCRIPT>
<table>
<tr>
<td style="background-color:red;">
<cfform method="POST" action="" name="testform">
<cftextarea name="content" richtext="true" toolbar="Basic"
width="500"></cftextarea>
</cfform>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

  • Margin around line sin JTextPane are too big!

    i am working on an HTML Editor, i have a rowheader that displays the line numbers of the document. The problem is that they don't line up correctly. This is because of the margins around lines of text in the JTextPane. Is there a way i can get get the line height of a JTextPane? i figure i could use this to set the margin around the line numbers:
    margin = (lineHeight-characterHeight)/2;
    any help is appreciated. Especially if you could point me to a really nice StyledDocument, Document, AttributeSet tutorial that can help answer a lot of the questions i might have about this sort of thing.

    Check out the FontMetrics class. I think you can use textPane.getFontMetrics().

  • Strange border around selected icons/windows

    My son, who has a bad habit of downloading all sorts of, um, stuff from the internet, has a strange thing going on. In his account only, whatever window or icon he clicks on gets an annoying black border around it.
    I can't find anything in system prefs that looks like it would address this. Can I just trash the system prefs file from his account library, or is there another possible fix for this?
    Thanks,

    That's it! Thanks so much!
    He didn't intentionally turn this on, though. Is there some keyboard shortcut or something he may have done by accident?

  • Strange line around part of a clipping path

    I am working on a logo for a client and put a clipping path around a group of vector objects that are all black and white. Basically I did it just to create staright edges around some stuff that I may need to adjust later. For some reason, at the bottom it is creating a thin black line all the way around the path. There is no stroke on it, looked at in outlines and there is nothing there, but it definitly showing when I am in previem mode. If I put a white box over it the priblem is solved, but I would like to know why it is there in the first place.
    The inserted image will show what I am talking about, you can see the area on the left that drops down from black line. It actually continues down, makes and then goes around the rest of the logo to the right and then ends at the same spot on the right. Any ideas on what I am seeing here?

    Thanks for getting back to me Kurt. Using CS5, it doesnt print, and you were right if I turn off anti aliasing it goes away although then my text looks like bad. Do you know if there is a way to turn off anti aliasing for just one object? If not no worries, I can manage one way or the other but it would be nice to know.
    I do have to say it is really strange though. This logo is still in the concept stage, I just sent off the proof actually. Anyways, there are two other clipping paths in the same file and they dont have the same issue.
    Thanks again for the help.

  • How to remove margin around #MainContent

    I am starting a new site, you can see my start at

  • Setting Margin around a WebDynpro

    Hi all,
    is it possible to eliminate the margins (top, left, right, bottom) around of a WebDynpro ?
    Thanks a lot
    Uwe

    Hi Ulli,
    yes, of course
    I think I will wait until SP10.
    I didn't tell you yet, why I want the margins to "go away":
    In the next view weeks (or months..) I want to migrate a Web-Application, that I have developed in the last two years with BSP-MVC, to Web-Dynpros.
    This application can be embedded in a portal or run on its own.
    If it runs stand allone, in the header area there is a portal-like titlebar. This titlebar should stay a BSP-Page (for several reasons) and will be embedded as iFrame in the Web-Dynpro-Application.
    The other solution (this is my preferred solution) is, that the titlebar and the Web-Application are two parts of a frameset. And this is right the reason, why the Web-App should not have a margin (BSP-Site and Web-Dynpro should not stay appart on the Web-Page).
    Best regards
    Uwe
    EDIT: Problem solved -> it was the OSS Note 970986, but I had implemented it wrong -> I'm too old for that kind of job
    The margins of the standard elements are deleted now -> great
    The only margin left: iFrame (only on the right side).
    How ever, my solution with the frameset works now. And now I can go to bed...

  • White space/margin around images in onClick popup windows

    Hi. I'm using a JavaScript function that comes with
    dreamweaver so what when users click on thumbnail images, a larger
    window pops up with the image. Here's the function:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
    window.open(theURL,winName,features);
    //-->
    </script>
    Here's an example of how I'm using it in the code:
    <a href="javascript:;"><img
    src="dr_chm_allrgt_200x281.jpg" width="200" height="281" border="0"
    onclick="MM_openBrWindow('dr_chm_allrgt_400x300.jpg','','width=300,height=400')"
    /></a>
    This works great, except for one thing: the image doesn't
    appear in the very top left-hand corner of the pop-up window --
    there's some white space around it, and the right and bottom edges
    of the image are cut off, because they don't fit in the pop-up
    window. I'm wondering, is there some way around this problem,
    that's less messy than changing the width and height that I'm
    passing to the function every time?
    Thanks

    You are opening an image directly in the browser -
    MM_openBrWindow('dr_chm_allrgt_400x300.jpg'
    In that case, you have no control over how the browser
    displays the image.
    To get control, you would have to open an HTML page that
    contains the image
    instead of opening the image directly.
    There are extensions that will do this for you on the fly -
    the one I use is

  • Strange Keyline around image when I have not applied one

    After importing an image into a box with no keyline around it (transparent not white),  I export to PDF and find it displays a light grey keyline around the image where the box outline would be. Why? How can I avoid this ? Iam running InDesign CC

    Similarly, I'm getting another transparency artifact in CS6. I'm placing a psd with a layer mask. I don't get a line, I get a ghost box representing the original image frame. It's an old PS problem, but I haven't had either the line or ghost box in years. It's back!
      The transparency should be complete (black masked area in Pshop) and it looks fine on screenin ID. However, it prints with a faintly lighter box (just a few percent) to a Xerox 3250 with PS Level3. I've tried setting Transparency Preset to High Res and set the print dialog for Output: Simulate Overprint, Graphics: Send All Data, and Advanced: High Res. Still get the ghost.
      Dropouts made with clipping paths don't have this problem.

  • Applet has strange border around it

    Hi all
    I have some web pages with applets in them. When I load one of these pages and put my mouse over the applet, a gray selection border appears around the whole applet. I have to click inside this border to "select" the applet, before I am able to do anything inside the applet. (That means that, once the page loads, if I want to click a button on the applet, I have to click once to select the applet, then again to push the button).
    Anybody know why this happens? I've already tried to requestFocus() upon initialization.
    Thanks =)

  • Unexpectable margin around buttons

    Hi mates,
    I had created grid and divide it to cells. When I tried to fit button to whole cell space it doesn't work. And have some margin, but when I tried to put there rectangle it works ok.
    <Grid x:Name="ButtonsArea" Grid.Row="1" Margin="4">
    <Grid.RowDefinitions>
    <RowDefinition Height="2*" />
    <RowDefinition Height="1*"/>
    <RowDefinition Height="1*"/>
    </Grid.RowDefinitions>
    <Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
    <ColumnDefinition Width="1*" />
    <ColumnDefinition Width="1*" />
    <ColumnDefinition Width="1*" />
    </Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
    <Button x:Name="HangupButton"

    BorderBrush="{x:Null}"
    HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"

    Background="#E85253"
    Grid.Column="0"
    Grid.ColumnSpan="2"
    Grid.Row="0"
    Margin="5"
    BorderThickness="0"
    />
    Could anyone have met similar problem ?
    Thanks

    I think it has to do with the default button having margins baked in its style. What you can do is create a custom button style in Blend where you can set both the margin and padding for every element of the button to zero. For example, something like this
    style:
    <Style x:Key="ButtonStyle2" TargetType="Button">
    <Setter Property="Background" Value="Transparent"/>
    <Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneForegroundBrush}"/>
    <Setter Property="Foreground" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneForegroundBrush}"/>
    <Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneBorderThickness}"/>
    <Setter Property="FontFamily" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneFontFamilyNormal}"/>
    <Setter Property="FontWeight" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneButtonFontWeight}"/>
    <Setter Property="FontSize" Value="{ThemeResource TextStyleLargeFontSize}"/>
    <Setter Property="Padding" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneButtonContentPadding}"/>
    <Setter Property="MinHeight" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneButtonMinHeight}"/>
    <Setter Property="MinWidth" Value="{ThemeResource PhoneButtonMinWidth}"/>
    <Setter Property="HorizontalAlignment" Value="Left"/>
    <Setter Property="VerticalAlignment" Value="Center"/>
    <Setter Property="Template">
    <Setter.Value>
    <ControlTemplate TargetType="Button">
    <Grid x:Name="Grid" Background="Transparent">
    <VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups>
    <VisualStateGroup x:Name="CommonStates">

    </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames>
    <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="Background" Storyboard.TargetName="Border">
    <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0" Value="{ThemeResource ButtonDisabledBackgroundThemeBrush}"/>
    </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames>
    </Storyboard>
    </VisualState>
    </VisualStateGroup>
    </VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups>
    <Border x:Name="Border" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}" Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" Margin="0">
    <ContentPresenter x:Name="ContentPresenter" AutomationProperties.AccessibilityView="Raw" ContentTemplate="{TemplateBinding ContentTemplate}" Content="{TemplateBinding Content}" Foreground="{TemplateBinding Foreground}" HorizontalAlignment="{TemplateBinding HorizontalContentAlignment}" Margin="0" VerticalAlignment="{TemplateBinding VerticalContentAlignment}"/>
    </Border>
    </Grid>
    </ControlTemplate>
    </Setter.Value>
    </Setter>
    </Style>
    Then you can add the style to your Page.Resources or a custom Resource dictionary. Then you can give any button this style using the code
    <Button
    Style="{StaticResource ButtonStyle2}"
    Content=""
    BorderBrush="{x:Null}"
    Background="#E85253" />

  • Need HTML expert advice. Strange borders around JPGs

    Hi!
    I'm stumped by an HTML problem in Dreamweaver. This is for an ebook. In Dreamweaver and in the final mobi. there are drop shadows or border lines on some jpgs. either a single line on the bottom ot right side. I look at the HTML in dreamweaver and the image does not show any tags to cause the borders.  If anyone has an idea, or advice how I can eliminate this aberration I'd REALLY appreciate it.
    [Link removed as it forced malware download]
    Message was edited by: Sudarshan Thiagarajan

    Yep, Sudarshan is correct. Those lines are present in the original. As a matter of fact, a lot of those images have a black line running down or along one of the sides.
    Fix that first.
    And while you are at it, save the images as 8bit png or 8bit gif with 16 greys: resulting files size is much, much smaller, and your ebook will download a lot faster.

  • Eliminate margin around Xcontrol

    Hello, all!
     I'm trying to create an Xcontrol using a combo box on the Facade.  I would like to adjust the Facade window size so that when I drop the Xcontrol onto a panel, there is no space between the edges of the combo box and the Facade window.  I've tried to adjust the control and window sizes manually, but it's been a frustrating process, to say the least.  No matter what I do, the Xcontrol window is always larger than the combo box.  Any suggestions?

  • Stretch a graphic/layer only horiztonally

    Hi all,
    So here's my problem. I'm designing a site where a small
    beige box serves as the background for the content of each page on
    the site. However, my problem is that, while I'd like the rest of
    the content and images and shapes on the page not to scale due to
    larger/smaller windows, I would like the single box to stretch
    horizonally across the page, so it fills it from side to side. I do
    not want it to scale vertically, however.

    how I can do this?

    on the right track, but I could your (or anyone else's help)

    boxmovie._width = Stage.width + 100;
    boxmovie._x = 0;
    sizeListener = new Object();
    sizeListener.onResize = function() {
    boxmovie._width = Stage.width;
    Stage.addListener(sizeListener);
    Problem is, as you can see at
    (goldinroute.com/macgregor/about.html) that the box has some
    strange margins around it. Initially there is a margin on the left.
    Then, when you resize the window, a margin appears on the left.
    This occurs in Flash preview as well as when I load the html file
    into a browser, so I know it's just the browser inserting margins.
    Obviously, I'd like no margins to appear at all. Any ideas?
    Second, while I got essentially what I wanted to happen in
    the about..swf file, the problem is that this resizing and the
    stage.width attributes don't show up when this swf is loaded into
    my master swf. You can view that at
    goldinroute.com/macgregor/master.html. This is the key. Any ideas?
    I imagine it's because it's referring to the stage in about.swf,
    which doesn't take into account how bout master.swf is. The code I
    use to load in about.swf is:
    var myMCL:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    var myListener:Object = new Object();
    myMCL.addListener(myListener);
    myMCL.loadClip("splash.swf", 20);
    Thanks!
