Streaming live internet wont play

Hello, I have a 3g and would like to play a live streaming website www.kab.tv/eng
and can not. I believe it is mmc and can not figure out how to make it play anyone have any ideas or can some one help me with this

It is probably in Flash and cannot be played on your iPad. Try the Skyfire app.

Using Quicktime to stream live internet content?

I've read the tutorial for both Quicktime 6 and 7 here, and anything else I could find about this, so please forgive me if this is a silly, or redundant question.
I've been trying to use Quicktime to embed a shoutcast stream for listeners who don't have access to, or aren't technically savy enough to open iTunes and type in a URL (there are a surprising number of these people.)
After reading several tutoirals, it seemed like the process would be quite simple. Open a new Quicktime player, connect to the playlist, save, and then link to or embed the file into an html document.
Another method was to embed the stream's IP itself using the same technique, only specify that the plugin is Quicktime.
These work. However, they don't work very well.
The stream is fine. Listening within Quicktime itself is fine. Listening with iTunes is fine. However, when listening through a browser the audio is jittery, and seems to skip quite a bit.

Funny, I've given the same advice to so many people.
I thought that a week was enough time to assume no reply would be forthcoming.

I have actually solved this problem.
here's what was wrong and how I solved it:
1. The above code does work, in that it loads a quicktime player, and will play the stream.
However, the reliability and quality are quite poor.
2. Disable and intro or outro mp3 file you may have set up to play on your broadcast. At least under shoutcast, this is a source of many errors in terms of establishing a connection with Quicktime, and then suddenly changing the content, bitrate, sample rate and often the content tag.
3. link to a quicktime file using the QTSRC tag.
this will tell quicktime that regardless of your ultimate conent (real time live stream which is theoretically not supported) that you want the browser plugin to use quicktime anyway.

Can I stream live internet TV over ATV

I have a TV programme (Rugby World Cup) that I can only receive over internet. I would like to view this on the big TV. Can I use the ATV 2 to stream this somehow. Or can I have my iMac screen streamed direct to my TV screen using the Apple TV 2 or otherwise? I am hoping to do this in HD if possible.

You cannot stream from the internet on your iMac to an Apple TV.
You can connect your iMac to the TV with a cable and mirror your desktop. Or if the website is video AirPlay enabled you can stream it from an iOS device (ie iPad) using AirPlay.
There are some third party Applications for the iMac that are supposed to stream video from websites to the Apple TV but they are extremely unstable and I'd be reluctant to recommend installing them.

My internet wont play any sound

It can come about without any change done by the user, and it's not just from other networks. The placement of the router can also affect performance. Also make sure router is up to date.
Apart from that would be the reboots.

A couple weeks ago I did two applications make message exchanges by sockets.. I think is something like this. But I wanna know how to get de webcam image and transform it in a stream of bytes to send it to another application.. so the socket server must pass that bytes to the applet in Internet Explorer... I think so... xD

My live file (test.flv) is recorded under this path:
C:\xxxx\FMS3\applications\path\streams\_definst_\
But seems FMS3 can only play video under this path:
C:\xxxx\FMS3\applications\vod\media\
My only success is on this source path rtmp://ip/vod/test in
the component FLVPlayBack.
So is it happen to all free version of FMS3 or I have to type
sth more?

Url streams wont play in Itunes for Windows

URL radio streams and Itunes Store streams won't play on my computer, can however buy them and download them but cannot listen them before purchasing.
Radio streams also will not play.
Itunes library is working fine, can play any music form my computer but no Internet streams.. !!!

hmmmmm. okay, probably the next step with one of these is to try a careful standalone QT 7.0.4 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.4 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

Internet explorer wont play sound

im trying to create a web page with music Firefox will play the sound or music althoug I get no sound or music when I play the web plaage on internet explorer.
I dont understand why it wont play on internet explorer iv installed both mp3 and ogg versions of my files inthe media folder.

Streaming Live Video using Flash Media Encoder/Flash Media Streaming Server

We currently get a video feed from local cable channel that gets streamed live to our internet website. It gets encoded first on our Windows 2003 server running Windows Media Encoder and then gets published on another Windows 2003 server running Windows Media Services. We are trying to replace these two servers with another solution and the two things driving this project are:
1. These two servers are coming to an end of life cycle so we need to replace the hardware and upgrade the OS.
2. They currently only support Windows compatible file formats. Just like other organizations out there, iPAD users are popping up and they want to view these video streaming from their iPAD.
That's why we are looking at Adobe Flash Media Encoder3 and Flash Media Streaming Server 4.5. My questions for the experts out there are:
1. Can Adobe Flash Media Encoder and Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server can replace our current solution?
2. Do we need both Flash Media Encoder and Flash Media Streaming Server or can Flash Media Streaming Server also can encode video feed?
3. Can Flash Media Encoder and Flash Media Streaming Server can run on the same server?
4. Our Windows Media Services server also has few on-demand publishing points along with a live video streaming. Can above mentioned Adobe products support having live streaming publishing point along with on-demand video publishing points?
5. Does Adobe Flash Media Encoder only support Flash and Quicktime or does it also support .wmv?
I called the sales to find the answers to these questions but he basically read the features listed on the Adobe product website and couldn't really answer these questions.
Any help in find the answers to these questions will be greatly appreciated.

Idea tab A3000 Streaming live TV

I have dipped my toe into the tablet water, with the A3000 for the specific purpose of streaming live TV and online video to my TV via a dongle.
I have BT infinity WIFI with a excelant signal and 24.6Mb download speed.
You tube and other online video works with no problems at all, no buffering, no drop outs.
I have tried the following apps:-
BBCi player (including the required plug in)
TV catchup
TV guide
They all do the same thing, the live program plays for around 2 minutes then either the picture dissapears, it buffers or an error message comes up.
Is there a setting I need to change in the tablet menu? Any help appreciated.

I had a go with my UK spec A3000, I have the same problem on iPlayer but not on TVcatchup or SkyGo, playing the same BBC streams. iPlayer was fine on non-live video. I tried BBC1 and BBCnews. Since I use TVcatchup or SkyGo for most of my tablet based watching I had never experienced the problem until you drew it my my attention.
Table firmware is A3000_A422_003_026_130823_WW_SMS_FUSE
Internet connection is Sky ADSL, 23Mb clocking rate to the exchange (I'm only 200 meters away).
I'll watch out for this in the future.

Live internet radio to my home stereo

Is there away to play live internet radio to my home stereo like I do with itunes. My airport is already connected to my stereo. So I just need away to stream it to my airport.

Streaming live webcam feed to website - what is the problem ?

Ok, first of all hello everyone - i searched this on the forum and come up with couple of solutions which i already did so hopefully someone can answer my question.
I have installed flash media server, flash cs5, media live encoder to be able to view my webcam feed via my website. Now in addition to these, i started streaming to localhost, and installed a dns updater which updates a name server according to my current ip. Then i wrote this dns address in the feed's source from flash 5 as rtmp://thednsname.somedns.net/live/livestream
so far so good, i also forwarded the ports 1935 incoming and outgoing from modem to my computer as well (because 1935 is said to be the default port number for media server). firewall -> closed (just in case); and my internet provider doesn't block ports...
started the media server (with admin privilage in 7), started the live encoder, connect to localhost, start live feed.
NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : Adobe Flash tried to play a live or recorded stream that does not exist. Source can't be found.
I DONT get this error, which means it finds a stream but on the website there is absolutely nothing. Any ideas will be much appreciated, i think i'm running out of steam here...

If I am not wrong, you said that you are publishing a livestream and wanted to see the "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : " error on client-side whenever you fail to play a stream, right? so, basically it depends upon what value of the argument "starttime" are you using in your netstream.play call @ client side code, as it follows that:
startTime - A number indicating the playback start time, in seconds. If no value is specified, the value is -2. If startTime is -2, the server tries to play a live stream with the name specified in streamName . If no live stream is available, the server tries to play a recorded stream with the name specified in
streamName . If no recorded stream is found, the server creates a live stream with the name specified in streamName and waits for someone to publish to that stream. If startTime is -1, the server attempts to play a live stream with the name specified in streamName and waits for a publisher if no specified live stream is available. If startTime is greater than or equal to 0, the server plays the recorded stream with the name specified in streamName , starting from the time given. If no recorded stream is found, the play() method is ignored. If a negative value other than -1 is specified, the server interprets it as -2. This parameter is optional.
This also means, you will get "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : " error on client-side if you are using 0 because in that case it will directly look for a recorded video file with the given name and will not wait for publisher to publish a livestream with that name and therefore will immediately return the string error "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : ".

When i can see more tv chanels stream live on Apple tv

Apple has changed the way they listen to music, Apple has changed the way we read books, Apple has changed the way we learn and many other things that our life has become easier ...but I expect like many others a new way to watch tv yes we have now Apple Tv , we can watch new movie from iTunes or Netflix and other channels, thats great but what i expect and many expect more than this ?? ??
I want to get rid of cable TV, i pay a subscription to a cable company who offer 50 TV channels of which I am interested in only five , I just want to watch my favorite channels for example 2, 3 channels from France, 2 from Spain, 3 from USA and one from Brazil why not .... but how ??? i try some aplication on iPad or iPhone to watch channels but i didnt find what i really wanna watch and im thinking why Apple dont change this and im sure we can change the way to watch Tv , and i have an ideea and im sure Apple can do it ... just create a new stand ,can be just iTv where on the same sistem like newsstand i can subscribe to my favorite channels and Apple can create a sistem to stream live many TV channels and its so easy to watch your favorite tv live everywhere in iPhone or iPad and take it with you when you travel why not ??? and we can do the same on apple tv to have this posibility to subscribe and watch your favorite channels live stream that will be really great !!!!!!!
Im sure this ideea its not now and probably somebody think of this before but Apple can do this and i think this is the future way to watch tv , many channels already make live straming on internet and will be really interesting to find all tv channels into a stand where we can choose tv channels worldwide watch what we like and pay for what we want to see on Apple tv , iPad , iPhone , iPod everywhere we want and this will be a way to change how we watch tv for sure ...
