Structure changes

Hi
Where can we see who has changed the query structure?. I knew how to see the last change, but I would like to see the whole history about the structure changes.
I did check in the follwoing tables but there is no luck.
RSZCOMPDIR
RSRREPDIR
Regards
R

Hi R
What you can do, is identify the structure ID through the table  RSZELTDIR.
Once you got that id, go to the table RSZCOMPDIR and you will find the last modification author and date.
Hope it helps

  • 'Structure Changed' Error when running a query

    Hi,
I created a query with 2 structures. One structure for the time periods and one with Key figures (Calc and Restricted).
The query ran fine and subsequently I put this into a workbook which had other queries and made a workbook type report.
I modified the structure with the key figures recently and when I run the query now a popup box appears saying "warning; structure changed" and lists down the query elements that I changed, and subsequently the query does not run (no data is displayed).
But if I open the same query in design mode and do nothing and run the query again (with the same input parameters), it runs ok.
Please advise on how I can sort this out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dominic

    Hi,
If you want, you can remove the query with 'Remove Query' option in the BEx toolbar and then re-insert the query and then save the changes to the workbook. The next time, you refresh the workbook you won't get any such messages.
    Thanks

  • MOPatch bpmig.sh Structural Changes in SAP Bundle Patches

Structural Changes in SAP Bundle Patches New!
As of June 2014, there is a change in the internal structure of the SAP Bundle Patches (SBPs) for Oracle. While this has many benefits, applying the new SBP for the first time requires special handling. For more information, see the hot news SAP Note 2011199.
When looking at note 2011199 I found due to the changed structure and to identify stand alone patches it is recommended to run the bpmig.sh script.
To avoid these problems or to detect them before actually installing this SBP, you must run the bundle patch migration script bpmig which is delivered with MOPatch 2.1.16 and later.
The script comes up with an error message:
Cannot determine SBP version from "SAP Bundle Patch 11.2.0.3.2 - 201205".
opatch / mopatch semselfs seems to function properly...
    Any clues?

    Hi,
Please check the following SAP Note 2032109 - Executing bpmig.sh shows "Cannot determine installed SBP"
    Thanks.

  • Roles for disabeling structure changes in excel

    Hello togehter,
I have got a excel sheet which I can open by the "Analyzer-AddIn."
If the users have to change some data, there is an embedded save-button.
But if they use the normal excel save button, it could be that the excell will be destroyed.
    And now my question,
is it possible to disable structure changes by clicking the normal save button in an excel sheet via (creating) SAP-Roles? Or is it only possible by chaning VB-Code?
    Thanks in advance!
    Greetings,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,
if you want to disable the standard "save" excel button you should use some custom VB code. Afterwards, you can include this VB code in your reports using the workbook functionality.

  • Accommodate structure changes in Budget Application for each year

every year our cost center structure changes to accomplish that we are creating New Budget Application every year . Cost center structure is divided in to Area then region and then csc. These Regions never stays under same Area they change it every year
can anyone suggest out a way to do it in only one Budget Application instead of creating new Application every year ?
How can we Accommodate structure changes in Budget Application for each year?
thanks in advance for the suggestions

Assuming the cost centers stay the same, and only the hierarchy of the dimension changes, it's really quite simple.
Export the level 0 data, clear the database, update outline, import the level 0 export file, agg database. You should now have the new totals.
All of this can be done in place without the export/import of data as well, but it is a good practice to export/clear db/import the data for defrag purposes.
Some things to consider, if the organization will want to compare year over year company totals...
    1.     They need to create some governance around newly inactive cost centers, usually you create some sort of "Inactive" parent in the dimension and when they are no longer active they need to be reassigned to this "inactive" parent. This will ensure that at least the company total stays the same.
    2.     Following #1, they need to understand that the year over year totals will may only be accurate at Company total (including the Inactive rollup) and at cost center.

  • Structure Changes in Database make SDK program crash.

Hi, is there an event I can catch when the database gets a structure change? Say a new table or field added?. Becuase everytime this happens the program crashes.
    Thanks.
    Jose.

Sorry I didnt specify it was in DI
I testit it and added a field to a MarketingDocument and after that the program halted in this line of code:
    SAPbobsCOM.StockTransfer _oTraspaso = (SAPbobsCOM.StockTransfer)Global.COMPANY.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oStockTransfer);
I dont understand the error, it says:
    Exception from HRESULT: 0xFFFFFB9E
    Thank you.

  • Structure changes in the LBWE, where does the field pool come from MCVBUK

Example:  Customising Cockpit, lbwe > 2lis_11_vascl > Maintain structure
In lbwe the field 'pool' for MCVBUK does not have all the fields that I can see if I look at Structure          MCVBUK using se11 such as FKSTK, FKSAK.
What does this depend on ?  Is it to do with the events ?
Yet OSS Notes say to choose the fields from lbwe:
structure changes in the LBWE SAP Note Number: 762951
Note 576886 - Change to user-defined fields not extracted

But enhancing extract structures, you don't get the delta capability on the  sepcific field (if you need it) - and there is no simple solution to this.
    I found these OSS notes:
<b>Note 328255 - Not all fields provided in Customizing Cockpit</b>
This behavior is wanted. As not all fields of the communication structures can be used in a practical way, some are hidden. Fields are hidden for the following reasons:
o The field is not filled for this event.
o The field is only used internally (for example the work center ID - instead, the respective work center name is available).
o The field should not be used here for reasons of design. Principally, you should select key figures only from the most detailed communication structure (or from the one with the most detailed hierarchy) and only the characteristics from all communication structures.
    <b>Note 351214 - BW extraction SD: Restricted field selection</b>
This note goes into more detail
By the way, thanks for the replies, but the question was 'why ?' and I the OSS notes replied to this.
The whole problem is to do with 'delta' enabling, and I've spent a day researching to find that there is no easy way to delta enable enhanced extract structure fields.

    How do I resolve this
    thanks

    Hi,
There are no Inactive objects in the cube in DEV system. Also must of the changes I made in Test are already in the cube in TEST But the cube is not active.
SAP proposed that the cube be activated manually but is not a good procedure to activate in TEST system.
Error when resetting InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 to the active version
    Message no. RSO410
    Diagnosis
Errors arose when activating InfoCube ZCRUSDI02. An active version already existed before the activation.
    System Response
InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 could not be reset to the old active version. Since the generated objects no longer correspond to the old active version, they were reset to inactive.
    Procedure
The old active version of InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 can no longer be used. Remove the cause of the activation error and activate InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 anew.
    thanks

  • ORG. Structure change.. Effect on Opportunities

    Hello All,
Our client wants to do a CRM Org. Restructure to map the HR structures in ECC.
    My query is :
    1. What is the effect on Opportunities that already exist in our system if the org. structure changes..
    2. If we give a validity date of todays date for the Sales Office ..The Opportunities which were created with this Sales office wont be editable any more isn't it?
    3. Will have to re-create the existing opportunities with the new Org. structure?
    3. Also, if we have to delete the Sales Office due to the org.  restructure, the Opportunity will have an error isn't it as the sales office doesnt exist any more ?
Is there any other effect  you can suggest..
    Thanks .
    Regards,
    Monica

    About your questions:
    1. What is the effect on Opportunities that already exist in our system if the org. structure changes..
Be sure not t delete old org.units, but just to set end f validity date.
    2. If we give a validity date of todays date for the Sales Office ..The Opportunities which were created with this Sales office wont be editable any more isn't it?
No, opportunities will still be editable. But you will get message, that units are not valid anymore.
    3. Will have to re-create the existing opportunities with the new Org. structure?
    No.
    3. Also, if we have to delete the Sales Office due to the org. restructure, the Opportunity will have an error isn't it as the sales office doesnt exist any more ?
Yes, there will be error message on opportunity.

  • Hierarchy structure changes

    Hi All,
I have one requirement at clent site where hierarchy structure changes i.e. parent child relation switches or changes from one level to another level. For example WBS element hierarchy stucture for project 101014 is:
    101014--root
    101014-1>101014-1-01>101014-1-01-02-->101014-1-01-02-01
after above hierarchy load to bw there are chances that hierarchy nodes change their positions.
i.e.above hierarchy node 101014-1-01 can be removed from  parent(101014-1) and assigned to 101014-2.
In Next load Hierarchy need to realign/restructure according to new hierarchy tree from ECC system. Right now we are BW 7.30. Thanks for you help and gurantee of points.
    Regards,
    Reddy

    Hi Gaurav,
Thanks for quick response, we are running process chain on daily basis which will trigger full load from ECC to BW. I thought the same but when I look below error message I think we need to some how delete hierarchy data and reload with restructed or realigned data. Please find below error details and once again thanks for your help.
Node ID 00001564 has not been included as a sibling node or as a child node
    Message no. RH207
    Diagnosis
The node with the ID 00001564 and the node name 101014-1-02-03 is not used as a child node (field CHILDID) or a sibling node (field NEXTID) by any node in the hierarchy. The node is also not a root node because the ID of the parent node 00001565 (field PARENTID) is not equal to 0. The node is therefore not linked into the hierarchy. Therefore the node is not connected to the hierarchy.
    Procedure
This message is displayed in addition to message RH 242. The node is the root node of a subtree that is not connected to the hierarchy. For further details, see the long text for message RH 242.
4 of a total of 13,846 nodes are not included in the hierarchy
    Message no. RH242
    Diagnosis
The root nodes are the starting point for moving through the hierarchy. The content of the fields NEXTID and CHILDID is used to move from the current node to its sibling and child nodes.
4 out of a total of 13,846 nodes cannot be reached by moving through the hierarchy in this way. These 4 nodes are not connected to the hierarchy.
    System Response
The hierarchy is not consistent and therefore cannot be activated.
    Procedure
The cause of the problem is usually incorrect links to sibling nodes (field NEXTID) or child nodes (field CHILDID). An incorrect value often means that an entire subtree (consisting of several nodes) is not included in the hierarchy.
To simplify the search for incorrect links, the system identifies the nodes (from all the not connected nodes) that are not used as sibling nodes or as child nodes. These nodes are usually root nodes of subtrees that are not connected to the hierarchy. You can find these nodes in the RH 207 messages that follow.
Try to localize the problem by using the RH207 messages for help. If the hierarchy is loaded from an SAP source system, you can check whether the extracted data is correct by executing transaction RSA3 in the source system. If necessary, check if the data is modified with a user exit. If the hierarchy is loaded from a file, check the contents of this file. The problem might also be due to an error in the transfer rules or in the transformation.
    Thanks
    Reddy

  • Where can I found table or structure changes across different releases ?

    Hi !
    Just one question:
I would like to found where can I see tables or structures changes across differents releases of SAP R/3?, i tried to found a doc about this... but i couldn't found it.
For example, which table have been modify form version 4.x to 4.z, i mean fields added or modified, etc...
    Thanks in advance,
    Albio.-

    Hi Albio,
You can do this. You can check the activation log of any table which you have to find for change history.
Just go to se11 and type the table name click on display and then go to utilities -> then activation log, it will show you all the changes made to table

  • We are upgrading from 8.3 to 9.2. How can i get the table(record) structure changes between these 2 version

We are upgrading from 8.3 to 9.2. How can i get the table(record) structure changes between these 2 versions. I am not able to find it in Oracle support.

My guess is you want to upgrade HR8.3 to 9.2 - and that is not one jump upgrade. You will need to go HRMS 83 to 90
(PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS 8.3x to 9.0 Upgrade (Doc ID 747333.1) and then 90 to 92 (PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 9.0 to 9.2 Upgrade Home Page (Doc ID 1536087.1)
Each these MOS pages contains the Demo to Demo Compare Reports that show the data structures changes between the releases.
    Hope it helps.

  • Table structure changes from PS HRMS 8.3 & 8.8 to PS 9.1

    Hi,
Is there any delivered report (or) excel sheet explaining the table structure changes from PS HRMS 8.3 & 8.8 to PS 9.1
Any help on this highly appreciated.
    Thanks

Edited by: Soundappan on Nov 1, 2012 7:04 PM

I'm not sure to understand what kind of module you're talking about.
Anyway, there are several docs available in MOS which shows the features differences over the versions, have a look :
PeopleTools Cumulative Feature Overview Tool ID 793143.1*
But I didn't find any starting by your (very old) Peopletools version.

  • Table structure changes

Assuming that an OraLite 10g is now running on CE.Net and Msync is working fine to do data synchronization between Oralite 10g and an enterprise 9i database. If I make structure changes to a table on the enterprise database, how do I reflect the changes to the OraLite database on the CE.net device.
    Thank you.

There's a good post about this on metalink...
    A) Add column
    1. Upload all client data. Clients should not add new data until they are told by the administrator to sync again!!
    2. Stop Mobile Server listener
    3. Change the Oracle8i/9i database schema (add column)
    4. Create a Java program to call the Consolidator Admin API AlterPublicationItem()
    5. Start Mobile Server
    6. Execute a sync from the client
    7. The new column should be seen on the client. Use MSQL to check snapshot definitions.
    B) Drop column
    1. Upload all client data. Clients should not add new data until they are told by the administrator to sync again!!
    2. Stop Mobile Server listener
    3. Delete column of the base table in the Oracle database schema
    4. Create a Java program to call the Consolidator Admin API DropPublicationItem()
    5. Create a Java program to call the Consolidator Admin API CreatePublicationItem() and AddPublicationItem().
    6. Start Mobile Server
    7. Execute a sync from the client
    8. The new column should be seen on the cliet. Use MSQL to check snapshot definitions.
    C) Change column datatype
Changing datatypes in a repliatated system is not an easy task. You have to follow certain procedures in order to make it to work. Use DropPublicationItem, CreatePublicationItem and AddPublicationItem methods from the Consolidator Admin API. You must stop/start Mobile Server listener to refresh the cache.
    1. Client syncs. Clients should not add new data until they are told by the administrator to sync again!!
    2. Stop Mobile Server listener
    3. Drop/create column (do not use conversion procudures) at the base table
    4. Call DropPublicationItem(). Check if the ErrorQueue and InQueue no longer exist.
    5. Call CreatePublicationItem() and AddPublicationItem(). Check if the ErrorQueue and InQueue reflect the new column datatype
    6. Start Mobile Server. This automatically resumes application
    7. Client executes sync. This should drop the old snapshot and recreate the new snapshot. Use MSQL to check
    snapshot definitions.
    D) Drop table
    1. Client syncs. Clients should not add new data until they are told by the administrator to sync again!!
    2. Stop Mobile Server listener
    3. Drop base table
    4. Call DropPublicationItem(). Check if the ErrorQueue and InQueue no longer exist.
    5. Start Mobile Server. This automatically resumes application
    6. Client executes sync. This should drop the old snapshot. Use MSQL to check snapshot definitions.
    E) Add table
    1. Client syncs. Clients should not add new data until they are told by the administrator to sync again!!
    2. Stop Mobile Server listener
    3. Add new base table
    4. Call CreatePublicationItem() and AddPublicationItem() method
    5. Start Mobile Server. This automatically resumes application
    6. Client executes sync. This should add the new snapshot. Use MSQL to check snapshot definitions.
    F) Changing Primary Keys
Chaning PK is a severe operation which must be executed manually. A snapshot must be deleted and recreated to propagate the changes to the clients. This causes a full refresh on this snapshot.
    1. Client syncs. Clients should not add new data until they are told by the administrator to sync again!!
    2. Stop Mobile Server listener
    3. Drop the snapshot using DropPublicationItem() method o
    4. Alter the base table
    5. Call CreatePublicationItem()and AddPublicationItem() methods for the altered table
    6. Start Mobile Server. This automatically resumes application
    7. Client executes sync. The old snapshot will be replaced by the new snapstot using a full refresh. Use MSQL to check snapshot definitions.
    G) To Change a Table Weight =>
Follow the procedure below to change the Table Weight parameter. The table weight is used by the Mobile Server/Synchronization to determin the sequence in which client records are applied to the Oracle database.
    1. Run MGP to apply any changes in the InQueue to the Oracle databse
    2. Change table weight using SetTemplateItemMetadata() method
    3. Add/change constraint on the the base table which reflects the change in table weight
    4. Synchronize
