Sub sequent credit

can any body tell me wat is the diff between sub sequent credit and sub sequent debit tell me with a example

Hi
Find info given by SAP
A subsequent debit/credit arises if a transaction has already been settled, and a further invoice or credit memo is received afterwards.
A subsequent debit/credit changes the total invoice value of a purchase order item; the total invoice quantity remains unchanged. Therefore, only a value-based update of the purchasing transaction takes place. There is no quantity-based update.
You must enter an invoice as a subsequent debit if a purchase order item has already been invoiced and further costs are incurred. (Example: A vendor has inadvertently invoiced you at too low a price and then sends a second invoice for the difference.)
You must enter a credit memo as a subsequent credit if a purchase order item was invoiced at too high a price and now you have received a credit memo. (Example: A vendor has inadvertently invoiced you at too high a price and then sends a credit memo for the difference.)
If you enter a subsequent debit/credit, the system suggests the entire invoiced quantity, but no value. The maximum quantity that you can subsequently debit or credit is the quantity that has already been invoiced.
You can only enter a subsequent debit/credit for a purchase order item if an invoice has already been posted for that item.
A subsequent debit/credit cannot refer to a particular invoice.
<b>eg.Subsequent debit</b>
Typical example is like
suppose vendor has overcharged u for perticular PO and afterward he want to correct it
In such scenario u can post subsequent debit to correct PO without affecting Qty. field
and if vendor has charged less he cangive subsequent credit note to us

  • Planned delivery cost  & sub-sequent settlements

    hi ,
what is meant by planned delivery cost ?
what is meant by sub-sequent settlements ?
when they are useful in MM
    regards

    Hi
<b>Planned delivery costs</b> are the costs agreed with the vendor or goods supplier before the purchase order is created. You enter these as conditions  in the purchase order.
Planned delivery costs can be differentiated as follows:
    Origin of Costs
    Freight charges
    Customs charges
    Calculation of Costs
Fixed amount, irrespective of delivered quantity
    Quantity-dependent amount
    <b>Subsequent adjustment</b>
In sub contracting scenario After the subcontractor  had delivered the ordered material , you post the goods receipt to the subcontract PO. The system determines the necessary components for each purchase order item and creates for each component a goods issue item with the quantity that was determined in the purchase order
If the vendor informs you after these postings that a greater or smaller quantity of the subcontracting components was actually consumed than planned in the purchase order, you must post a subsequent adjustment to correct the component consumption.
If the component is a by-product, you must post the corrected by-product receipt (excess receipt) or by-product issue (short receipt)
Similary there is a subsequent credit / debit carried out when an additional invoice or credit memo is received for a transaction that has already been invoiced in LIV process

    Hi Dewang,
I have a different situation, I posted SD request at contract account level posted using FPSEC1.
Since the contract account is for purpose of Aggregation, I did a aggregated posting then when I prepare a print doc for the same using EA10_AGGRBILL it is not picking up the security deposit request.
I have maintained the necessary entry in Item Selection in Account Maintenance/ Define Sub-Items for RF clearing type.

  • Sub-sequent debit in scheduling agreement

    Hi All,
My client is having requirement like this:
Client receive the material against scheduling agreement and do the invoice verification,After verification & payment vendor will send the supplementry lnvoice for additional amount.
In case of purchase order, I am able to do the same scenario by change the price in purchase order & make the subsequent debit in MIRO.
But in case of scheduling agreement,I change the price in scheduling agreement, still I am not able to post the subsequent debit.
System will show the message :
Price too high (tolerance limit of 5.00 % exceeded)
This message is required, cause client wants that if any additional bill comes then first make the change in price of PO & scheduling agreement.
    Kindly provide your valuable suggesions.

  • Subsequent Credit & Debit

What is the use of subsequent debit & credit in MIRO
    Regards
    Vaibhav

    Hi,
Sub Sequent Credit : - Debit note
Sub Sequent Debit : - Credit note.
I give one example to u.
    Case 1 : -
Suppose you have purchase order of 100 qty and 10 Rs rate per material.
Now at the time of good receipt you have receive material 100 but party send material per 11 Rs.
So you have to give debit note to party per 1 Rs. At this time you have to use Sub Sequent Credit.
    Case 2: - PO = 100 qty, Rate = 10 Rs.
Party send material 100 nos but 10 materials are demage due to this you have receive only 90 materials.
So you have to give debit note for 10 qty( 100 Rs.) At this time you have to use Sub sequent Credit.
    Case 3 : - PO = 100 qty, Rate = 10 Rs.
But after some times rate is up as 11 Rs. per material or extra fright is given by vendor and if u want to pay this charges you have to use Sub Sequent Debit.
Normally if you want to give debit note to party you have to use Sub Sequent Credit and if u want to give credit note you have to use Sub Sequent Debit in SAP.

  • Credit limit sharing main customer and sub customers

    Dear all
Credit limit sharing main customer and sub customers. we have hierarchy to identified main cutomer and sub customers and different account groups. now in system we are using main customer payer for all sub customers also. in future we are going to share the credit limit sub dealesr also. wt are the possibilities to complete my requirements.
    Regards
    Venkey

    Hi Venky,
If i understood correctly. You wan to share main customer credit limit to all sub customer i.e. if main customer is having 5 Lacs Credit Limit the same amt you want to use for all sub customers.
If this is the scenario then assign the main customer in the sub customer Credit master as a credit account.
FD32 ---> Control Area Data ---> Status --->  Credit Account ( Under Credit Limit )....
Process to change the credit account: Perss F6 or from the status view Go to Edit ---> Change Credit acct...
    Hope issue may resolve..

  • CREDIT MEMO IDOC FROM MIRO

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where, the A/P creates a credit memo on behalf of the supplier in MIRO. I want this Credit Memo to be sent to another system through IDOC. This is in MM-Logistics invoice Verfiication (NOT IN SD). I believe there is no standard way to do this. So could you let me know what method should I use? Appreciate your help.

    GR,
I believe you have to look at both the Header and Item tables.
In table RBKP there is a field Invoice where X = invoice and no entry indicates a credit.
To determine if you are dealing with a normal invoice/credit or a subsequent debit/credit you then have to go to table RSEG and there is a Subsequent debit/credit field.
    Invoice    Subs deb/cred
    X                                      = invoice
    X                      X             = subsequent debit
                            X              = credit
    X                      X             = subsequent credit

  • Credit Memo for PO

    Hi All,
We have a scenario where the user has posted migo and miro as blow
    Migo    1   -  GR  quantity of 138     (Movement type105)
                2-   - goods return of 70    (Movement type122
                3 -    GR quantity        62
    MIRO   1     - quantityt of 68
                2    - quantity of  70
               3     - quantity of 62
Now user has tried to create a credit memo for the returned quantity of 70.
System has posted  -70   in  IV
Now when he tried to post another  credit memo for a quantity of 62 and even 68 system is allowing him to do so.
Now  the issue is the user is asking we have to create a credi memo only  for the returned quantity.
system system is allowing him even to create a credit memeo for not returned good.
    Is this correct.
On what basis we can create a credit memo for a PO.
How can we restrict the system not to create a Crdit memo for non return goods.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Bhushan

    Hi
Credit memo is not only for return goods.  we can use that for vendor accounting balances adjustment also. like you received meterial less and you got some discount so you need to raise the credit memo or sub seq credit memo.
so cancel the credit memo which created not return the stock.
chek with your abap'r to may be possible with programming.

  • Authorization in VKM1 for users based on credit limit?

    hi all,
Does anybody heard about authorization for users in VKM1 to release blocked commercial documents? In my project, they want to set ranges for users :
    Analyst 40%
    Manager 100%
    Director 100%
I looked for all SAP doc and i think its not possible, any thoughts?
    Thanks and regards

    Dear Monica,
You can do this with Roles & Profile (Authorizations).
Go to T-Code PFCG - Either enter the roles that currently exists or create a new role. Insert T-code VKM1in Menu tab page & then go to Authorizations tab
Expand the Thread Standard - Sales & Distribution,
Once again expand the thread Standard - Credit Doc. Value Class: Processing of SD Documents
Then expand the sub-thread - Credit Doc. Value Class: Processing of SD Documents
Here There is a option Document value class (credit management) - Here you can enter the Document Value that user is Authorized to release the block...
You might have to take help og your Basis person to create Roles & do the above...
    Hope this helps...
    Give points if Useful...

  • Sub-conracting challan -reg

    Dear Experts,
i have one doubt reagrding sub-contracting process involving the challan,
assume one FG material 'A' is need to produce with two raw materials one quantity  B + one quantity C,
i have raised one SC PO to get 10 quantities of 'A",
    for the above i have issued 10 qty B + 10 qty C,
i have created one SC challan,
Case 1.later on SC vendor told that 3 qty of B damaged, again i have issued 3 qty to that SC vendor,
    for the above case 1.
    1. how to maintain this excess qty with challan?
    2. how to reconcile that damaged quntity ?
    Case 2.
if we issue the material through sub sequent adjustments
    1. how to handle the over consumption 'or' under consumption scenarios with SC challan,
    Thanks in advance.
    Lakshmi Reddy

Case 1.later on SC vendor told that 3 qty of B damaged, again i have issued 3 qty to that SC vendor,
    for the above case 1.
    1. how to maintain this excess qty with challan?
U have to send 3 qty to vendor by 541 and u can send those qty with new sub contraction challan
    2. how to reconcile that damaged quntity ?
While doing the GR you can manually put in 13 qty consumed instead of 10
    OR
U can do the GR so as to consume 10 qty with original subcontracting challan
and then do 542 for 3 qty and reconcile the new subcontracting challan with this 542 document number
    Case 2.
if we issue the material through sub sequent adjustments
    1. how to handle the over consumption 'or' under consumption scenarios with SC challan,
MB04 is used for subsequent adjustment for under/over consumption in subcontracting.
If the vendor informs that he had consumed more raw material than you have issued to him,you can use this transaction code and post the material consumed.
It affects the price of finished products you recieved in subcon GR.
If the value of finished products is 20 when you performed GR,and you are posting a raw material worth rs.5 using MB04 for over consumption, then the price of the finished products now becomes rs.25.
Similar thing happens when you post for under consumption(price in MMR of finished product comes down by the value of raw material consumed)
