Suitable browser for downloading Rapidshare files ...

I use N91 mobile.
I'm not in position to download Rapidshare files. I've enabled Java script in installed (part of firmware) browser, but whenever I try to download rapidshare files, it gives error message stating that 'enable Java script'. I do not know what to do?
I tried other browsers like Opera (v8.65), JB,Ucweb, but no success.In all such browsers, I've enabled Javascripts. But same error message is coming.
Can you comment - what might be problem? what are other browsers? can you download on your mobile Rapidshare files?

I cannot tell about it clearly but AFAIK only the integrated modded opera browser for N91 and separately available Opera MINI and Opera are availble for browsing.

Servlet for downloading a file

i am writing a servlet for downloading a file on a GET action in the form..the web-xml is deployed correctly as far as i can interpret..bt i am encountering an error during the run time..

so what do u think is reason behind this..

Bridge Browser = "Cannot Download Corporate Files"

I Have ATT, got bridge app through work around, connects great, everything works except the bridge browser.. it gets me up to my favorites, but when i try to access a webpage, pops up: "Cannot Download Corporate Files"... Anyone else getting this message? Is this ATT blocking it?

I am also on AT&T--found the bridge workaround, and all worked swell bridged to my torch.
Today, after plugging into my laptop and dumping some photos onto my playbook, I now find that my bridge browers no longer works! it gives me back this same message "cannot download corporate files" with any website that I try to go to.
I called the shiny new playbook support line, and they said they've never heard of this.
They had me delete the connection and bridge software, reboot both, and reconnect. It lost the favorites I had already saved on the bridge browser (so it definitely wiped the old off), but same thing...the browser isn't working and still brings back this "cannot download corporate files" error message.
They said it was probably an AT&T bug and that they are working with AT&T to any day now get the bridge onto the appstore.
anybody else have any suggestions? I was worried that this was a websense corporate IS issue with my company's exchange server, but now it sounds like potentially an AT&T blockage?

Looking for file browser for WordPerfect Graphic files

I'm not sure which forum to post this to, but here is my question. I have many CD's of WordPerfect Clipart in WPG format from my old WordPerfect days in Windows (sigh, I miss it on my Mac). I am trying to find a file browser or viewer that will display the thumbnails for viewing. Many apps and the finder do this for standard graphic file formats but I can't find one for wpg graphics.
I can convert one at a time with MacLink Plus but it is so slow and you really don't know what the file is until coverted.
If you know of any app that will diaplay a series of thumbnails or a light table view of the files I would appreciate it.

You could download the free last version of WP for the Mac, open them in that and save each as PICT. A third-party utility, "MetaMacro", would do that on all files in a folder in one step. Links to the download, the necessary OS 8/9/Classic updater (also helpful on OS 7), and MetaMacro are at:

How to log in background and execute a function for downloading a file

i have a problem.
I have an application with logon functionality. Over the application there is function to create a xml file for downloading it to the pc.
Now i want to download this file in background and save it to a server.
My problem is here how can i do this. The main problem is how to logon with the userid and password in background and how to dowload the file.

I have a big problem trying to download a local file to an internal table. I have lines with more than 8000 positions, and i've tried to use WS_UPLOAD, GUI_UPLOAD and SO_OBJECT_UPLOAD, but all of them show me this messages:

¿Do you know any function module (i think it could be OO) that allows me to load this file?

You can download your file to application server in background scheduling.
In your program use OPEN DATASET command for achieving this.
How ever, as far as i know, it is not possible to download the file to presentation server in background job.

Tips for downloading big files(World Of Warcraft)

I need to download this 8 gigs of the game more. I'm downloading directly from bilzzard its going about 150 kb/s. Just wonder some tips yall do when downloading big files like this. Also if my macbook pro goes to sleep will it slow down the download because thats what seems to happen when I leave it on overnight.

Do it in the evening through overnight. Set the MBP to not sleep. System Preferences>Energy Saver>Computer Sleep = Never.

Problem with encoding and charset for downloading a file

Hi guys, I have a problem and I beg for your help, I am 1000% frustrated at this point.
I have a servlet which have to do something and give a file log to the final user. Coding the logic for that took me about 5 minutes, the problem is that the given file doesnt shows properly in notepad (Default app to open txt files). I have tried every way I have read over the internet and absolutely nothing works.
After trying about 20 different ways fo doing this without success, this is my actual code:

Your file likely uses *nix style line endings and use a single LF (0x0A) as the end of each line.
Notepad doesn't recognize a single LF as the end of line; it expects CRLF (0x0D0A). The encoding isn't the issue.
If you have to use Notepad you will need to add code to find all of the LF characters and insert a CR character in front of them.

Two different methods for downloading a file using URL...

I was just wondering if someone could shed some light on whether I should be downloading files using java.net.URL or java.net.URLConnection
Here are two ways that I have found to work (and yes I realize that one is outputting to a stream and the other is getting put into a StringBuffer):

Popup window for downloading a file

Hi,
my dear users want me to do the impossible possible. My code generates an XML file which in time I displayed it in an Iframe in the application. When the standard popup window shows up, they can either Open, Save or Cancel it. This was allright.
Now they want the file in a new window displayed (when they press Open), because opening the file in the same window means they leave the application and after reading the file, they have to start the application again. I do it like this:
The code works perfect only with the Alert instructions. Once I delete it, the window is opened and inmediately closed. The popup window for the file does not show up.
