Summary Coloumn Problem

I developed PO report, i created one summary column out side the group. I have place one field in under Group frame which it shows PO Grand Total, now user want at same place they dont move poistion, they would like to see PO indiviual Total, that means each po total instead of PO Grand Total.
If you run report for PO Range: PO From : 101 and PO From :102
PO:101
Item Price
ABC 1.1
DEF 2.1
PO:102
Item Price
ADE 1.5
DEK 2.5
PO TOTAL: 7.2(Right now it will show like these)
Now they need
PO No:101
Item Price
ABC 1.1
DEF 2.1
PO Total : 3.2
PO:102
Item Price
ADE 1.5
DEK 2.5
PO Total : 4.0
I can solve that problem easy way, but problem i dont want move any repating frames or any group frame, bcoz that total layout print on pre print stationary. With out chaning any thing instead PO Grand Total, can i show PO Indiviual Total(please remember po total field is in group frame, not in reapting frame).
Your early suggestion will aprreciate.
Thanks

To do this without any additional repeating frame will require that you calculate the value in format triggers and store the result in a PL/SQL package variable.
You can then use an srw.set_field_num(0, <plsql package variable>) to insert the PL/SQL package variable value into the total field in your layout.
The main problems with this approach are the difficulty in calculating, re-setting the value and ensuring the value is correct.
- Since the format trigger may execute more than once for any specific instance of the object, you also need something like a count column to make sure you only add the value once.
- You need to re-set the package variable on each change in the PO repeating frame (or create an array so that you have all values for all PO's).

  • Blog summary widget problem

I am getting reports that some users cannot load my iWeb '08 site. I have looked into it and not everyone is affected the same. In safari it's fine but in firefox on a mac it only loads a partial page with a js error. On a windows pc it's a crap-shoot as to if it will load or not. I can get my pc to load it with ie 7 but others cannot. Searching the forums and google I can see that I am not the only one with this problem.
It seems that the "Blog Summary Widget" is the error. I have tried everything including File / Publish All
    How can I fix this?

  • XCode CC2014 value summary debugger problems

In previous versions of XCode I have used data formatters to see the values of PMString and the likes. But in XCode5 developing for CC2014, XCode reports the data formatter as valid, but for the individual variables reports "Summary Unavailable".
Has anyone a solution to this problem ?

No. Since we still support CS5 & CS6 my solution is to develop in XCode3 and then compile in XCode5 to get plug-ins for CC2014. This solves the problem for now, but I would very much like to figure why it does not work.

  • AllSet Prepaid Account Summary Usage Problems

I have to say, monitoring usage on the MyVerizon mobile app, and through the online account page via a traditional browser, the Prepaid usage information is borderline useless. When you look at a list of calls made, etc. I can't see all of the calls I made or received.  I get all these calls that supposedly go to Forwarded to VM and are called ONNET? There are literally 10-20 per day, but my phone never rings. No idea what that is. The data usage on the MyVerizon mobile app makes no sense at all (viewing each individual data usage session). The total mobile data usage looks fine, and I feel has been accurate. But the individual usage is terrible.
Bottom line is, I could understand my usage, and the information contained before, when I was on postpaid. But this whole prepaid usage monitoring through the MyVerizon mobile app, and online via a traditional web browser, is a degraded experience. Anybody else find it hard to follow, understand, or have trouble viewing everything you need to?

Why have a Prepaid forum that is not monitored by CSR's who can actually do something about the issues posted by Prepaid customers? I'm not looking for a "sorry to hear about your problem" reply, I'm looking for answers/solutions.
What a ridiculous arrangement. This Prepaid sub-forum should be deleted so customers don't waste their time posting problems here.

  • MacBook Pro, a short summary of problems

    Hello,
My father bought a MacBook Pro in june, assuming he had just bought a high quality product.
    However...
In august, the problems began. Mostly the MacBook Pro wouldn't boot properly and he kept giving a nice blue screen.
And it often occured (when he had booted alright) that an application was closed due to an error and after such an error I could, under no circumstances, open that application again. The only solution in that case was a reboot, which as you could imagine, didn't always go so smoothly (cfr the blue screen)
Note: we bought it at a local Apple retailer (Saturn, Belgium) who had a promotion going on at that time.
So we returned with our MacBook Pro to the shop.
They took it in for repair (like posted in warranty), after which we lost it for a month.
When we went back for it they told us that the motherboard was the cause, and that they had replaced it.
    Oké, we think: problems solved.
    ... guessed wrong
That same day we had the same errors re-occuring again.
This time we kept it a few days hoping it was temporary, but ofcourse it wasn't.
But this time we took it to a Switch shop (at Saturn the told us, if we wanted the MacBook Pro to be repaired quicker than they did, we should bring it to a Switch shop)
After a week we could go to the shop to reclaim it.
They charged us €40 for the repair of a product that is under warranty!!
The people at Switch said us the motherboard (the one that Apple put in it with the last repair, a few weeks before) had been broken...so they replaced it.
Their explanation for the price: "we had te reconfigure the software"
So now we have it back but it isn't working properly (again!)
Oh and we can perform any software-updates either (or anything else which requires an admin-password), because the password we have appears to be incorrect now. So they changed it for some strange reason to we don't know what...
    What can we do?
The MacBook Pro, generally regarded to be one of the best laptops for private use, gave us nothing but frustrations and problems so far and costed us even €40 and lots of fuel.
In the Apple Limited One Year warranty it states that Apple can (1) replace broken parts (2) give us an equal replacement product or (3) pay back the price we bought it at.
After they tried option (1) two times now, with no succes, don't we have the right for a replacement or a payback??
Is it legit the charge us for a repair?
Place give you (un)salted opinion and some help to my cause.
    With dearest regards,
    Razorfire

Quote: *Isn't it rather silly to pay €40 for a software reïnstall and do it ourselves the following day?* It would be silly not to, if it's going to help fix the problem.
*One more motherboard replacement* I suspect it has nothing to do with the motherboard, since two motherboards have been replaced and you're still having problems.
*Can't we claim a replacement product or a payback, like posted in the warranty?* Presumably you can claim a replacement product. You just need do decide which way to go. i.e.:
    (a) ask for a replacement, in which case there's no need for you to be in here, or
    (b) try to fix the computer, in which case you should do what I suggested earlier.

  • Proposal: Posting short summary of problem with solution

    Fellow Web Dynpro developers,
what do you think about the following proposal:
if you got help from the group that finally solved your problem, wouldn't it be a good idea to close the thread by
    shortly:
    - describing the original problem
    - describing the (most elegant) solution
    - rewarding points to all who contributed
    Armin

Yes, unfortunately I must agree with Stefan. The amount of hit-and-run stuff we are seeing is very high. One has to accept that this group can not even be preached for, as they have already grabbed what they wanted and disappeared over the horizon. In a way it difficult question of what are the primary goal of SDN: support versus to distribute knowledge.
The only solution that we have found to work is a mental "whitelist" onto which people that stick around and understand the concept of give-and-take are placed. Their new questions are then the ones into which we put extra effort to solve, or build examples. The rest of the questions are handled at "default" effort. Newbies are given automatically an initial credit; they decides themselves their destiny.
Should we not take this discussion to maybe "SDN Suggestions" (closest relevant forum). Maybe other people also have some ideas? Can I move it?

I will really appriciat your answer
    Regards,

ST02 is meant for Abap stack memory.
If you select current parameters in ST02, you can see the relevant parameters.
I could sense the parameter values are low and there are more swaps per each buffer area.
You need to follow trial and error method to increase the buffer values to get a better match values.

  • Bizarre problem trying to import .MTS (AVCHD) files into PSE7 Organizer

    Hi
    b Summary of problem:
    *I recently upgraded to PSE 7 / PRE 7
*I am trying to import .MTS (AVCHD) files into the PSE7 Organizer
*I get a "...did not contain any supported file types..." error on attempted import
    b HOWEVER...
*I can edit same footage in PRE7
*This footage is automatically added to the Organizer
*I can play this footage in the PSE7 organizer but generating thumbnails takes ages
*Camera: Sony HDR SR12 producing .MTS files (full 1920x1080i HD)
    *PC: Intel Core i7 940 CPU, 6GB RAM, RADEON HD 4870 512MB
    *OS: Vista 64 bit
    b Detail:
I have recently upgraded my PRE/PSE bundle to ver 7 primarily because the new version of PRE boasts support for AVCHD.
Having installed the new software I quickly tried editing footage in PRE7 with video taken on my Sony HDR SR12 camera (footage taken in full 1920x1080i HD) and it works! Hoorah! I can now finally edit AVCHD footage in it's native format using PRE. Thank you Adobe!
But my joy was very shortlived because when I tried to import some other footage from the same batch into my PSE7 Video Catalog it wouldn't work. I got a pop up box containing the following error:
i "Nothing was imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in the catalog."
Under this message is a list of the files that I tried to import. Next to each one there is a reason (it's the same reason for each clip):
i "Reason: The file is damaged or is a format that cannot be included in the Organizer."
To import files I use the following method: File / Get Photos and Videos / From Files and Folders
HOWEVER, the files that I imported directly into PRE7 in order to edit them have (surprise, surprise!) automatically been added PSE7 Organizer's Catalog. It takes a quite a while to generate a thumbnail for each clip but it does eventually do it and when it does I can play that footage in PSE7.
Just in case you're confused by this stage... If I try and manually add files to the PSE7 Organizer it doesn't work BUT if I edit that footage in PRE7 and then load the PSE7 Organizer I see the footage has been automatically added. This makes no sense whatsoever!
Am I doing something really stupid here? Why oh why will the PSE7 Organizer not import .MTS (AVCHD) files?!
NB: While searching for a solution to this problem I have, thanks to this Forum, found out about the K-Lite Codec Pack. I downloaded and installed the Basic pack v4.4.5 and now I can, at least, play my .MTS video files in Windows Media Player... I wish I had found out about that a couple of months ago because it would have saved me from buying Cyberlink PowerDVD 8!
Please someone help before I lose the plot.
    Thanks
    Patrick

    Hi
I'd just like to add an update to this post.
    b Summary:
*K-Lite Codec Pack clashes with Sony's Picture Motion Browser (PMB) software
*Analysis of video in Sony's PMB is well worth doing!
*You can Drag and Drop clips from Sony's PMB into PRE7
    b Detail:
As you've probably gathered I have now settled on using Sony's Picture Motion Browser (PMB) to Catalog all my video. Sorry Adobe to talk about someone elses product but the Adobe Organizer just can't cope with AVCHD footage no matter how you manage to import it! It's far too sluggish and my PC has an Intel Core i7 940 CPU with 6GB RAM and a 10,000 RPM HDD!
Anyway, in my first post you'll have read me raving about the K-Lite Codec Pack but sadly I've had to uninstall it because it kept on causing PMB to crash. PMB runs much smoother and quicker WITHOUT that codec pack. Something about it clashed with PMB. The once agile PMB became sluggish and unresponsive.
Having now removed the codec pack PMB is back to being agile and generaly lovely.
To view AVCHD footage outside of PMB I have reverted to using Cyberlink's PowerDVD 8 - there's always a pregnant pause between double-clicking on the clip and it playing but that's the only drawback.
If you are going to use Sony's PMB for cataloging your video collection (and I recommend you do so BUT only if you have AVCHD footage - otherwise stick to Adobe's Organiser) then I can fully recommend "Analyzing" all of your footage. This takes time and a bit of patience because it kept stopping for no apparent reason but would readily start up again (without having to do anything else) BUT once it's done it'll reward you with the following:
*Filter on any combination of Scenery, People, Smiles - e.g. with a click of a button you can isolate footage that contains smiles, etc
*Face Search - if you select some or all of the footage in the right-hand pane it will then put a small thumbnail for all of the different faces in that selected footage in the bottom "Face Search" pane. If you then click on one of those thumbnails it will jump to the clip(s) that contain that face and grey out all the other clips
*Expand Videos - This tool is brilliant! In normal viewing mode you get a thumbnail of the video whether you're in Folder view, Calender view or Detail List view. If, however, you select "Expand Videos" from the tool bar it will show you a series of frames contained within that clip. You can choose from "Highlights" or various regular intervals (5 secs, 10 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, etc). The Highlights option does a pretty good job of picking out the significant changes within the clip
Lastly, I have discovered that you can drag a clip from Sony's PMB into PRE7. It won't let you put it directly onto the Timeline but it will let you drop it into the Project file list (found under the Edit tab).
I do hope that this info has helped others like me who are trying to get to grips with editing and cataloging AVCHD footage.

  • Problems starting SAP NetWeaver AS Trial Version

    Hello Forum,
Here is the summary of problem that I am facing starting SAP Netweaver AS Trial Version (post suucessful installation). I am mentioning successful installation is because on the day of the installation, I could start the NetWeaver AS Server and login using user BCUSER and go into SE80 (Object Navigator). The trouble started appearing thereafter.
    Here is the summary -
When I dont have MS loopback Adapter activated on my Laptop, I get the following in SAP MMC
The dispatcher process thread begins but haves a status - cannot connect to the message server
When I install and activate MS loopback Adapter on my Laptop, I get the following in SAP MMC
The Message Server and Dispatcher Starts Off, After a while (a minute), Dispatcher status turns to Message Server COnnection OK, Dialog Queue Time 0:00, after a While (a minute), it gives a message and stops. After this point Message Server is shown as running and Dispatcher is stopped.
I am attaching the dev_disp for reference.  Obviously I think the problem lurking somewhere in the midst of Network Adapter Configuration - Please help me to resolve the same.

    Hi Sunny,
Thanks for the reply. I checked NETSTAT command and none of the known ports used by SAP is occupied on my laptop.
Also, when I use NIPING - it gies me a familiar message WASNOTREACHED...
I have also attached my IPCONFIG /ALL Output, if somebody could help further.

If you're going to use powerpill you should probably subscribe to the following thread:

Your answer is on the very last page, but in summary the problem is that the --retry-wait option is no longer supported in aria2 which you can see in the code you pasted.
    /usr/bin/aria2c: unrecognized option '--retry-wait=2'
Xyne has already updated the code so you can either get the code from his site or wait for the mirrors to sync.

  • Problem when creating CAF Entity Service finder Methods

    Guys,
Can any one please suggest me appropriatly to the below problem.
I am using NWDS 7.06. I have no problem when creating CAF project, Application Service and Entity Service even.
    But in the Entity Service:
    1. Add a string or longtext attribute.
    2. try to create a custom finder method in operations tab, during that operation i am  not finding the attribute which i have created in step1.
That means i am not able to create the my own finder methods with parameters.
I was able to do that in some version long ago but i have forgotten that NWDS version.
summary of Problem Is: " Cannot create custom methods with custom parameters in Entity Service"
Can you please suggest me the right version or a solution to this problem on urgent basis please.
I promise you that i will give you full points to you who ever gives me the right solution.
Please mail your suggestions to [email protected]

    Guys,
I have solved the problem successfully. Thanks for your attention.

  • External Microphone problem not working.

I am trying to get a Sony ECM-DS70P Condenser Stereo Microphone with a 3.5mm stereo male plug to work on my MacBook Pro with a Behringer UCA222 USB Audio Interface and I am having no joy at all.
    Summary of Problem
The Microphone will not work when plugged directly into the Line-in jack on the MacBook Pro because the Audio Line-In input on the MacBook is line level -10dB to+4dB and microphones are generally around -40dB. So, I need either a line level preamp or a usb audio interface.
I decided on a USB Audio Interface (Behringer UCA222).
The Microphone is plugged into a 3.5mm stereo to RCA L & R cable which is plugged into the L/R RCA inputs on the Behringer UCA222. The Behringer UCA222's USB Cable is plugged into a USB port on the MacBook Pro.
On the Macbook Pro in System Preferences > Sound > the output is set to Internal Speakers and the input is set to the USB Codec (Which showed up when the Behringer UCA222 was plugged in).
    But it doesn't work!
Any help from anyone would be very much appreciated.
    Here are all the specs:
    Sony ECM-DS70P Microphone
    Frequency Response : 100-15,000Hz
    Maximum Input Level : 110dB SPL (THD 1% @ 1kHz)

I haven't actually tried it myself but it has a good reputation and gets very good reviews.
I have used many (most) of the Blue microphone range, especially the blueberry and the woodpecker (fabulous mic) these are xlr balanced rather than USB but the build quailty and diaphragm/enclosure design is first rate. Not quite Neumann standard but, not at all Neumann prices. Good choice.

  • Problem Creating LAN - X130E & Desktop PC - Win7 64 Pro and WinXP 32 Pro

Purchased a Cat 5e Crossover and read several how-to guides online but no success. Spoke with a computer tech who told me he could try working on it for a couple hours but could not promise anything. I want to transfer files between the two. Should I try a fresh format on the two offline? Any suggestions or insight duly appreciated.

Maybe it is authority problem, but how to investigate it in XP, is beyond me. I really tried everything I could think off and find, spent countless hours on this, nothing worked. My Arch strangely, only has access to imap and ics calendars, still no http, https... access for almost a week.
Short summary of problem: Arch Laptop was networked with XP machine through simple network cable and received Internet over XP's ICS. After Win7 is installed beside Arch on same laptop and networked to XP machine, Arch can not receive Internet anymore through XP's ICS.
Now Win7 can network and receives Internet from XP's ICS, Arch on same laptop can network but can't receive Internet from XP's ICS. No firewalls present on Arch and XP.
Does anyone have an idea or suggestion how to investigate this, cause I'm totally clueless now?

Thanks guys for the help. I guess the problem is solved.
The program I install maybe not compatible with that is why casues the problem or maybe the whole system go haywire.
I have reformatted my whole MBP and reinstall everything, just that this time I installed my windows program by making it compatible with WinXP instead of installing directing from windows7.
Thanks very much for your helpful comments =)

  • Oracle states go to OTN for this:If the criteria isn't met I don't want for

Can you easily recover from, bypass or work around the problem? = YES
Does your system or application continue normally after the problem occurs? =
    YES
Are the standard features of the system or application still available; is the
loss of service minor? = YES
    ### Did it work before? If yes, what have you changed? ###
No, We were told this was fixed with 10G so we upgraded to 10G. We have a
report and we want it to execute if it's less than 10 records if not we want a
message to come up that the report needs to be scheduled.
Well we run the report and it displays exceeded record count but the format
still runs so no time saved on the web.
If the record count was exceeded we want to HALT the system and not go any
    farther.
Now if we could modify the system message 1825 we would be o.k. But we don't
know if that is going to work. If we could change the message we would be
o.k. with that. that would mean changing the system codes though.
    ### How is the Report being called (Command line, URL or via Oracle Forms): ###
If false comes back in the beginning then we don't want any report formatting
to be done. Right now the format is done it seems but no data is displayed
    because criteria isn't met.
So we dont wnat the formatting to be run when criteria isn't met. But for
    some
reason it still runs and takes time.
See we have some reports on the web that can only be ran by date range right
now the clients can only run the reports for a 6 months range.. Well some
clients have a lot smaller record count. So we want to change the way the
reports are ran to a records count. If the count is large than said amount
then a message comes up that states the report has to be scheduled. If the
amount is under said amount then the report runs.
So at this time in the report we do a count then we move onto will the report
run or not if over the amount we want to abort the process but we don't want
the client to see the abort. We definately don't want the client to sit and
wait for the format to run when NO Data is to be returned.
    ### Error messages and error scenario: ###
So what we want is too see a message "Schedule the report count exceeded" and
NO formatting done. If under amount we want the report to run.
    ### Provide a detailed step-by-step description of your problem or question: ###
Or is there a way to customize the messages the client / users will see. And
no formatting time for no records returned.

New info : Can I get detailed steps about how to customize the system message
or hide the message when we abort the report?
    21-SEP-04 15:38:39 GMT
    Hi Darlene!!
As talked to you on phone, here are the steps for you to try.
The below has been run as a test case using emp table in scott schema of a database
    1) create a summary coloumn say cs_1 in the data model.
    2) point the function to count.
    3) Point the source to what ever's count you want it to be pointed to(say empno of emp table of
    scott schema)
    4) create a user parameter say NO_ROWS
    5) in its property palette make its data type number and initial value as 1
    6) I had teh following query for my report:
    select empno, ename from emp
    where rownum <= :no_rows
This means that the report that will be generated will consist of a total no of NO_ROWS(that we
shall be specifying at run time). The before report trigger(mentioned in 7 below) shall assure
that whenever we specify NO_ROWS greater than 5 then the report will display a customized pop up
    message.
    7) create a before report trigger as:
    function BeforeReport return boolean is
    user_excp EXCEPTION;
    begin
    if :cs_1 >5 then
    raise user_excp;
    return (false);
    else
    return true;
    end if;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN user_excp then
    SRW.MESSAGE(30, 'Data is more please schedule this report:');
    raise SRW.PROGRAM_ABORT;
    return (false);
    end;
This way when u run a report, an argument is asked whether how many rows do you want to be
displayed as in the parameter NO_ROWS. then you specify the number. If that number is greater
than 5(in this case, due to if :cs_1 > 5 then....) then it will pop up a message saying "Data is
    more please schedule this report:"
In case you do not want to specify NO_ROWS..then you need not put that and modify the report
query as "select empno, empname from emp;" i.e. without where clause.

New info : Information from the person that did this suggestion step by step.
I tried this step by step, but unfortunately, it doesn't work the way we want.
First with this suggestion, the user needs to choose how many records they
    want
to get, or we default a number of records, in order to run the report. The most
important thing is, whenever you specify the statement return false or raise
SRW.PROGRAM_ABORT in the before report trigger, the system message will pop up.
I really hope that people from Oracle would let us know how to customize the
    system message or hide it.

New info : I just thought that we have some sort of message, which I guess is
from the database, when we do claim search on client inquiry. I am just
wondering if we could try the same thing to the report.
The some sort of message looks like this on dev box:
Your search exceeded 5000 records and will surpass the capabilities of this
connection. Please narrow the search criteria and resubmit.
It's just a thought, not sure if it's going to work.
When could we have the DBA Make this change. The servlet.properties???

    UPDATE
    =======
    Hi Darlene,
We cannot modify the system messages nor do I think there is a method to hide the system message. The message that was coming is
due to the raise srw.program_abort command, which is the element through which
    we can abort the program.

    23-SEP-04 18:49:28 GMT
    Hi Darlene,
I am sorry to say that but I don't think there is any any workaround to this because the system message is what is generated by the oracle reports i
nternally. Still if you wish you may refer to the otn discussion forum which is
maintained by teh product management group and post a new thread on it. the link
    to the forum is Reports
Also since nothing can be done on our side I don't see any reason to keep this TAR open an
