Sunrise / sunset application does not show time

Hi there!
just set up my Apple Watch and noticed that sunrise / sunset application on all watchfaces always stays empty displaying "--:--"
All other applications seem to work ok.
Anyone else having this problem?

Okay. None of these worked for me but I'm going to tell everyone what did work for me. I spent hours with Apple chat and support and my last option was to send my watch in to be replaced. After factory reset of my phone and watch and many re pairs it still didn't work. The only thing that worked is going to settings: General: reset: reset location and privacy. After I did that nothing worked still yet. What this does is it makes the 'Apple watch faces' feature disappear in locations. Once you've done that you need to reset and repair the watch and it will ask you if you want to use location for watch face. Choose yes. Once all of this is done you need to turn Bluetooth off on the phone and put the watch in airplane mode. Turn the phone off and the watch off and then back on and make sure that bluetooth stays off. As long on the phone boots up first with the Bluetooth off and the watch in airplane mode and not connected you're good to go. Make sure you're in a good area for Gps signal and take the watch off airplane mode then turn the bluetooth on using the toggle on the iPhone. This is the one and only thing that has worked for me. I hope this helps for people with future problems.

May be while copying the application "My Accounts" is not copied.
But you can create one by saving the Query.
Seelct "My Account" in the Find DDLB while in adv search and save the query as "My accounts".
It will be added to the SHOW DDLB.

Battery percentage indicator does not show time remaining in ML as it used to show in Lion!

Hi everyone!
I upgraded to ML and have noticed that the battery percentage indicator does not show the time remaining (charge). you need to actually click on it to see how much time the battery is going to last. OS X Lion did not have this problem.
Is it just for me or is it a bug that Apple needs to fix?!?

Timemachine does not show time line when choosing 'Enter time machine'

Hi all,
I have been using TM with my Mac Mini Snow Leopard Server without any problems until today. TM still does the backups OK, but when I select 'Enter time machine' the user interface does not get deployed fully. I will show the Finder window in the middle of the screen, but the timeline does not appear. Not happens next; the underlaying desktop stays visible. When I close the window by clicking the red button I see briefly flash a part of the TM bar at the bottom of the screen and then it returns to normal desktop use.
Does anybody know why TM will not start the restore interface and how I can get it fixed?

Application does not show up in "install applications list"

I am having an odd problem with my SCCM 2012 OSD tasks. It appears that not all applications are showing up in the "install applications" task. For instance, I have separate applications for 32-bit and 64-bit Java. The 64-bit application shows
up in the list of applications you can choose to install, but the 32-bit version doesn't. I have tried both with and both without the "allow this application to be installed from the install application task sequence action without being deployed"
box selected. (It also looks like that box does nothing, I have it unchecked for Acrobat Pro and it still shows up in the list).
Both deployments are working outside of the OSD stuff, but I'd like to be able to have them install as part of an OS deployment. Any ideas?

Had the same, (i am on 2012 R2 by the way)
packages could be selected, Applications couldn't from a TS.
Create an application with only one deployment type of type " msi" and you'll see that this one will show up!
Everything said here (set the flag, install weather or not...) is true
my issue was: If theapplication is of type "script" it will not show in the application list. unless ALL of your deployment types (user and/or device types) in your application, have these things set!
(i sctually needed "install for system if resource is device, otherwise install for user" )
AND in my application i have to unset the "Allow this application to be installed ..." flag for them to show up in the TS
AND run the scripts as 32bit on 64bit computers
AGAIN: only seeing this behaviour in SCRIPT application types, not MSI typed once...
I see no mention of this anywhere in any documenttaion out there.....

Application does not show in Simple Finder

I recently set up a new computer for my kids and I am using the built-in parental controls in 10.6 to limit access to certain applications. I have turned on Simple Finder to make the computer easier for them to use. The issue I am running into is that one app, called Mia, will not show up in the Simple Finder no matter what I try. When I view the list of approved apps it is checked in the system pref. The only thing that I can tell which might cause this is that the app requires Rosetta. However, I am not sure if that is the issue. I tried creating an alias to the app and an automator application that launches the app, but even if I select those they don't show up in the Simple Finder. The other selected applications do show up.
Computer is a new MacBook on 10.6 with all the latest updates. Tried repairing permissions, etc., already. Any ideas on troubleshooting this would be appreciated.

How was this application originally installed? Was it by drag and drop? If so then it is owned by you not by the Applications folder's owner which may be why you are having the problem. Give this a try:
1. Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder.
2. At the prompt enter or paste the following:
sudo chown -R root:admin
Put a space after "root:admin". Drag the icon for this application into the Terminal window then press RETURN. You will be prompted for your admin password which will not be echoed. Then enter:
killall Finder
This procedure may fix the problem.

Map application does not show blue route between destinations.

Got the same problem. Ios6 maps is the worst maps application for me. What is the point having a map and don't give navigation. APPLE PLEASE GIVE US THE GOOGLE MAPS BACK. why don't they give us the option to choose from these two map application. Ill go for google maps because it got much more POI than apple maps. Please do something for this otherwise I'm gonna loose interest on my 4S

RoboHelp air help application does not show pdf files

Hello everyone,
I hope this is the right place to post my problem.
I am developing an air help application and I want to embedd some pdf files. I tried two different ways yet:
1. A direct link to the pdf file (which is located in the project folder)
2. An iframe
In the topic preview both ways are working fine. But when I generate the application, it just shows a black page, where the pdf content should be.

Problem with waveform chart: time scale does not show time correctly

Hello,
I have some problems with a chart.
I want to display some data and the time between two single data can vary. It is something between 50ms and 500 ms.
The problems I have:
1. The time is not shown correctly in the chart (allways 2:00:10 instead of the current time)
2. the data points in the chart have a distance of 1 s (x-scale). That is not correct.
I have tried several things but I thinkt I am on the wrong track.
Could you please help me?

I have modifierd the vi again.
Now it looks much better.
I have a data array and the last 10 seconds of the data are displayed.
The array size is maximum 150 and that is more than I need to display. If new data is inserted, the oldest gets deleted.
I wonder if this style is efficient?
The time is stil not displayed correctly in the graph. Why does it always show 2:00:00 ?

Application does not show up in the manager console -- Java Web Start

I have downloaded the jnlp file so many times but still the aplcation is not displayed in the JWS manager console.

Actually this problem usually occurs as a result of the way you have configured your href line for the jnlp file. If you are still having some problems try putting in:
href="http://2m6:8100/jws/ChatApplication.jnlp"
See if that helps it at all. It's possible that it's not using the relative reference combined with the codebase URL given.

Uploaded document via windows application does not show in document library, but as checked out Document

Hi,
A windows application uploads document to a document library programatically. Although they get added to the document library but are not shown there. Only when I go to the "Managed file that have no checked in verison" I see all the documents.
This happens even though I have set "No Versioning" in the library settings. This is probably happening because I have added a few custom columns to the library.
How can I avoid this situation and get to upload document which can directly be seen on the document library rather than first taking control of the doc and then checking it in?

When uploading files without filling in some required columns, the files would appear in “Checked Out Files” page.
To avoid this situation, you can modify that windows application to force users fill in the required columns or just define default values for those columns.

Preview application does not print images correctly sized

The Preview application does not show me what size the image will print out.
It defaults to Scale to Fit: Print entire image.
The % in the Scale: window seems to be what the % turns out to be, depending on which Scale to Fit: is selected.
If I click into Scale:, and then change the %, when I hit Return, it prints immediately without allowing me to preview what size the change actually looks like. Need to change that behavior!!! Can't see how to do it.
Probably want the default setting to be Scale: 100% but can't figure out how to do that.
ALSO the Preferences / Images setting has two choices.
But playing with the Define 100% scale as just changes the size of the image in the Preview viewing window. The PRINT menu still has the same default and the same Scale: % size. No matter which I select, the PRINT default is still the same %.

Preview.app in Snow Leopard has removed the option to print without scaling, and recreating this behaviour with the remaining options is quite complex and requires 4 extra steps. Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document in Preview.app, such as a PDF, of a known paper size.
2. Select 'File' > 'Print…'
3. Change the paper size to one where the default scale value with the default 'Scale to Fit:' 'Print Entire Image' is not 100%. This step is often unnecessary, as many documents will require reduction to include margins, even if the paper sizes match.
4. Select 'Scale:'
5. Select the scale % value.
6. Delete the scale value.
7. Input '100' in the scale value box using the keyboard.
8. Press tab to avoid radar #7256827.
9. Click 'Print' Expected Results:
Click on a single option to print at 100%, if by chance that wasn't the default option. This would have been one step. Actual Results:
Does what it says. Steps 4 through 8 are necessary to print at 100% in most cases. Regression:
This behaviour was as expected in OS X 10.5.x and previous versions, or we wouldn't be having this discussion. Notes:
Printing at 100% is the only scaling that is common enough to warrant a button to make it an easy one to get to. Preview.app itself even has an 'Actual Size' toolbar button, but has removed this function for printing.
Graphic designers (and other professionals) or specific applications (such as printing on pre-cut or pre-printed paper, labels, or DVDs) can commonly require printing at 100%, and using PDF to distribute documents makes Preview.app the most logical choice for many printing jobs.
Having something other than 100% as a default can cause expensive media to be ruined by a mis-scaled printout, unless these 4 (+1) steps are followed every time.
Most other apps, including Safari, Mail.app and TextEdit default to no scaling, making Preview.app an exception. I am an architect and this is really annoying!

I have now re-installed Acrobat Pro on my Vista based machine. I did it outside of the Cloud apps by downloading the trial package as it was explained to me in a support conversation / chat window that Adobe don't support Acrobat Pro 11 on Vista and it has never been tested.
Having managed to install it, I opened it and instantly I was offered the opportunity to download content - I declined - but I did checked and I was logged into my Adobe Creative Cloud account at the time - and the Acrobat Pro installation is not telling me its in demo / trial mode - it is properly installed.
While I am completely bemused at the statement that Adobe does not support Acrobat Pro on Vista I am satisfied it is working.
I did save the support chat text just in case anyone contested the facts.

Closing an application that does not show up as open

I downloaded an application off the internet and it is messing with my computer. I tried all the ways to delete but it wont because the error message says that it is still open. however, I cannot close it using the conventional methods including turning off the computer. it does not show up as open when I use the force quit menu so it will not let me force quit it. ultimately, I want to delete this intrusive application.

Did it come w/a Read Me file?
Did it come w/an uninstaller? If so, use it. If not, go the app manufacturer website for uninstalling instructions.
Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items. You can disable from there. Also, there is a mapping location of where the file is.
