Support msg sender ID wrong

Hi All,
when i process any service desk support msg. from new status to in process or customer actionreq. or confirm, i define automatic mails for msg requester by smartform CRM_REMINDER_MAIL_01. on all three status change event mail are created and update goes in users mailbox.
My problem is all having sender ID as
CUST_SCOUT CUST_SCOUT <SOLMANDEV(at)xyz.co.in>
however , as i think it should be msg processor details.
Kindly suggest.

Hi All,
After my investigation i find out that all mails created for Recipient= Requested by, goes with Sender id=RFC user Id of that satellite server.(for DEV=solmandev, PRD=SolmanPRD etc.) in solution manager.
So please let me know is it correct Id or it should be Sender Id= Msg Processor Id.
Give your expt. idea on it.

Captivate 7 module sending the wrong interaction data to the LMS

Here's an interesting one: (I hope!)
I have a test created using Captivate 7 that is sending the wrong interaction data to the LMS (tested in Moodle and in SCORM Cloud).
The test module was based on a previous module by using File, Save As to create a copy which was then modified.
When the interaction data in the logs and reports is analysed it contains the questions and answers from that previous module. Even though the current module has totally different Qs and As (and a different number of them).
I'm starting to think that File, Save As was not a good move...

Unfortunately the cmi.interactions in the log are still set to the wrong values. I wonder if I turned off reporting, republished, then turned reporting on again... mm...

Help! 5700 Xpress Music unable to display msg send...

Please help with this.
i m a 5700XM user in New Zealand. My 5700 never displays the msg sender's name (i have sender's phone number stored in the phone book).
Here's the situation:
A friend named Jack is stored in my phone book with a cell phone number 0211123456 (fake number but length is correct).
If Jack call me, my 5700XM will show "Jack's Calling.."
HOWEVER, if he send me a txt msg, my 5700XM only shows the incomming number which is "+64211123456"!!! This is anoying.
I don't know if there is another way to config the phone to recognise the +64 number, or may be there is some sort of software to fix it.

Always store your contacts the international way with+ sign. Most likely the messageservers use the international code by default.

"This device not supported" msg when connecting camera

I just tried plugging in my (four year old) Canon Digital Elph via the USB connector (30 pin male to USB female) and got the "device not supported" msg on my iPad2
Are only recent cameras supported?

Yes, it's a connector issue. The connector you have doesn't work with the iPad, as you've discovered. It doesn't work with any iOS device. You need the iPad Camera Connector Kit. It has two different dongles, one to connect a USB cable, the other, an SD card.

Tables Relating Support Msg and its partners along with the subject Profile

Dear Friends,
Every support Msg is uniquely identified by ticket nos...
Every support msg thus has Priorities, partners, Short text msg, long txt msg, subject associatated with it...
Please open a ticket using crmd_order..
I want to have all the information about the ticket like who are the partners, what is the subject.
I know of two tables :
crmd_orderadm_H and crmd_activity_h( for determining priority based on the Guid of the ticket).
But i am looking for the table which associates Subject and partners ( like Sold to party, Msg processor, Support team ) with either the ticket nos or the GUID of the ticket.
Any contributions to this thread woiuld be rewarded..

Gwia 7.03 send with wrong Internetdomainname

Hello,
we?ve got an new second Internetdomainname. Now i want to configure one User in our Net to send mail?s from this new domain. I did the following steps:
- add the second Domain under GroupWise System Operations -> Internetaddressing
- go into the User Object GroupWise Internetaddressing Option and add the new Internetdomainname as prefered.
If i look in the the GroupWise Adress book (in GW Client) is see the new email Address.
I wrote a new mail and see in the send items properties that the mail is created with the new email address.
When i look in the GWIA log i see that the message is send out with the old Internetdomainname. What is wrong? Is there another GWIA Switch?

The only time the foreign ID of the GWIA causes any whatsoever effect is

Mail sending from wrong gmail address

I have multiple gmail addresses that I send from: one for work and one for personal. The email addresses are very similar, but for an additional ".am" suffix on the username of the work account. When I want to send an email from my work account I switch the "from" field to my work address, but it still gets sent from my personal address. The only workaround I've found is to force the work address into my "reply to" field. This still has the mail coming from the wrong account, but at least responses to the mail go in the right account. I do not have this problem when sending mail from other domains, nor do I have this problem when sending from my iPhone. I have my Gmail accounts set up with identical POP settings.

I tried that. It causes my outgoing servers to go offline, and I couldn't send mail from either gmail address. My current workaround is to send the mail from another domain. I don't know if there are any disadvantages to this down the line.

I have seen a couple other folks who describe this better.
Good example is == if i am on a web page in safari and hit the little arrow to email the page to a friend.
I type in their email address and NOTE THAT THE PROPER EMAIL, MY DEFAULT EMAIL IS SHOWING RIGHT THERE IN THE LITTLE FROM BOX.
I can even check that sure enough there is a list of my five email addresses...three gmails. and an icloud .me one. BUT the proper one is checked.
So looks fine.

Seems to vary as to where exactly I am sitting ...that is which mail box level? I am in.....yuou know that list on the left of all your mail boxes
..smart ones, gmail ones/ //folders...never have really understood what those are exactly....trash ,,,,,sent ,,,,etc

Have you checked Mail/Preferences/Composing/Send New E-mails from to see what is set there?
Mail/Preferences/Accounts - make sure the outgoing server is set to match the e-mail address. You can also check use only this server.
Also try dragging the mailbox you want to be the default send address to the top of the mailboxes list under Inbox.

Mail sending from WRONG EMAIL

Hi. I'm using 2 gmail accounts and when I send an email from one, the user receives from my other account. It doesn't happen all the time, and has only been happening recently. It's strange because after the 1st time, I started checking that drop down box that asks which email I want to send from, and it is set correctly. This even occurs sometimes when I reply to an email, which by default will send emails from the address that the email was sent to. Also, I know something is wrong because 1 email address has a signature that states the email address it came from, while the other email address has no signature at all. When I get replies to the email I sent, it shows my signature, but is replied to my other email address. Has anyone else run into this issue? Are there any solutions? It's quite frustrating.

The pulldown menu in the message composition window that selects account doesn't select the smtp server for that account, you have to go into Mail Prefs to ensure which smtp server is associated with which account.
Go to Mail Prefs, Accounts and select each gmail account one at a time and check the following: In the Account Info panel, check that the outgoing mail server (smtp) is the one you think it should be.
I'm assuming that gmail requires a username/password to send a message; the server for each account would be listed something like: smtp.gmail.com:username1 for the first account and smtp.gmail.com:username2 for the second gmail account.
If they're not what they should be, open the outgoing mail server (smtp) pulldown menu and either select the correct server or choose "edit server list" and fix it. Also consider clicking the "use only this server" checkbox for both accounts.

Yes, I also don't think they can go buy 3rd-party hardware and ship it to me. However, I asked this question since I am very upset from those online sellers who don't consider Yemen in their maps. So, all customers must request their needs from other closer countries.

Yes, there is a major political upheaval in Yemen right now, however, to move the Yemen to independent country, and not dependent on the Gulf Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, even the US, the UK, France which originally are allied with and have been protecting those Gulf Arab countries.
I always ask myself why Amazon.com, eBay.com, and others ship to Gulf Arab countries, and they don't ship to Yemen????? I only saw that mydvddrive.com, dx.com are the only websites which can ship to Yemen, although I didn't try to order something from them for two reasons: first: I am afraid of not getting/receiving my orders since delivery address in Yemen is bad since Yemen doesn't have postal code. Msg sending is failing..

m using nokia e63 n frm last 2days m unable to send msgs..msgs r stored in outbox firstly it shows tht it ll resend bt aftr tht is get failed..same prblm i faced earlier also n formatted my cell n prblm was solved bt i cn't format my cell again n again..need sum proper solutin..

sometimes the memory can get too full, causeing this issue.
do as he showed above and check your sent folder. do you have the to auto save a copy of the message?
i would clean out your sent, saved, folders.
then, sometimes, symbian devices get bottlenecked on the connection. and a reboot is necessary...which meant that i would have to delete that message and try to do it over again, then it worked.
also, try to clean out your cache. open an email browser and menu/options clean out your cache.
if you have access to your file system with either x-plore or y-browser, that makes it really easy.
launch that product than c:/cache/vss, highlight all files in that folder and delete.
your device should run smoother too.

RMA Number - UNABLE to get CRAZY HP support to send me a FEDEX Label

I have a NON_FUNCTIONING Envy. They sent out a repair guy to swap the hard drive. IT DID NOT WORK.
They sent me a BOX to send back the computer to HP for repair / replacement as it is under the warranty.
HOWEVER, they did NOT
* Include an RMA number'
* Include an ADDRESS or LABEL to ship it back to HP.
I am on CALL #8 (EIGHT as in EIGHT CALLS to HP), and the complete knuckleheads in India do NOT seem
able to send me a simple mailing lable / RMA
* By email
* By Fedex
* By Snailmail
* By carrier pigeon.
So I have a BROKEN HP computer UNDER WARRANTY and I am more than 10 days out... with ZERO ability

Mail sending from wrong Mail.app gmail account

I've got about 5 different gmail accounts in Mail.app -- two are actual gmail accounts and three are @mywebsite.net that I host through Gmail.
Up until recently everything was fine but now it seems all my mail is being sent from one gmail account, regardless of which account I choose to send from.
To the right of the "From:" dropdown menu is another dropdown, but mine is filled with indistinguishable "Gmail" names, maybe there's a way to edit those to make it more clear?
I've just spotted there's a way to set a default "From" email address in the prefs but I'd prefer not to always send from the same address... as in, that's the point of having so many emails in the first place. I've already sent out a bunch of business emails from my personal accout and confused a whole lot of people so it would be great to have this sorted soon.

I just went through this with 4 email addresses, and the solution seems to be in how your SMTP servers are setup. Here's how to fix it:
Go into preferences and under the account tab, click on your first account.
In the "Outgoing Mail Server" dropdown near the bottom, click "Edit SMTP server list"
Go through each server in this list and 1) make sure it has a meaningful name and 2) that the correct login info is entered under the advanced tab. Mine were jumbled up, with some being identified as one account but having login info for another.
Once this is straightened out, select each email account (we're done with the SMTP list at this point) and select the server from the dropdown list that you just verified and check "use only this account".
Once all addresses are associated only with their servers, you should be all set. Now you won't have any account accidentally loging in with the wrong credentials just to send. Why this isn't the default functionality is beyond me.

IPhone sending from wrong email address

Since loading OS7, my mail arbitrarily started sending from my gmail account instead of my primary mail account. Even after ensuring my primary was designated as such, reloading outgoing server password and turned OFF the mail function on my gmail acct, all outgoing messages are still from my gmail address. This is really frustrating as clients are beginning to reply to emails to the wrong address. Please help!

If you haven't already, I would open Mail> then click on the word "Mail" in the upper left corner of your screen>Preferences>select the "Composing" tab>in the line that reads "Send new messages from:" click on the arrows at the end of the line to open the dropdown box>select the email Account in the list that you want to be your default account for sending mail from. That should solve the issue.
