  • Apple Support said OSX Server could not be used as a file server only

    Hi There,
We bought OSX server thinking it would be easier than MS Small Business Server 2003 to setup, administer and maintain, as well as be more compatible with our mac studio.
The simple setup we would like is:
    - A file server for our Mac studio (7x macs)
    - A "My Documents" style redirect to backup email from the client machines
    - Some sort of secondary backup to a HD on the server (primary Backup is already taken care of)
We're using a single 1.8ghz G5 box as the hardware
After a lot of trouble with the documentation and the setup example in the manual, I called Apple Tech Support.
I was told in no uncertain terms that if we didn't have a fully qualified domain name on the server (and all the services needed to run it), then I could not configure the server as a simple File Server with a My Documents redirect and that Apple could not support me. - IS THIS TRUE?
I am not a network/IT/PC guy, I'm a graphic designer, but I've found the installation and setup of MS Small Business Server to be much easier than OSX so far (despite the MS documentation).
Any help or direction would be very much appreciated.
    Cheers
    Ben

    Hello,
If you need to just setup a FileServer then you do not need OpenDirectory or DNS. You just need AFP and Windows File Sharing turned on.
You can create a windows workgroup and setup shares in WorkGroup Manager using the internal users and groups database.
When the windows clients boot up you could set up a persistent mapping of a volume which would contain your email data. You would use a \\192.168.x.x type connection from the RUN menu.
It sounds like you could do with some more help on how best to use the server. I rekon you would be better off not having a simple fileserver (though it would work!) and make use of the extra functions availiable in the server software. On OS 10.4 server you can create a Windows Domain Controller that would allow all your PC home directories to be stored on the server, this will ensure that the Desktop, My Documents and anything elese the user stores in their profile will be safe and backed up on the server. You can also do this for the the Macs, in fact you can set it up so you can loggon to any PC in the office and your user information, desktop wallpaper and other settings follow you, if you were to then logon to a Mac you would have your documents follow you around the office. This works great for people hot-desking and using different types of computer.
I don't understand why you were advised to have a fully-qualified domain. When I have setup OpenDirectory and Windows Domain Controllers with DNS and LDAP etc I have just made up a domain name on the DNS server like "mycompany.net" and call the server "server.mycompany.net" and printers "epson.mycompany.net". The only problem with this is because if you were to use a domain name that is registerd on the internet then your computers would have trouble resolving that name, so don't use "apple.com" or "google.com".
    Good luck,
    David

  • Mac OSX server not supported behind Airport Extreme NAT router?!!

For a customer, I recently installed a new XServe, within a local network with an Airport Extreme (n) with FW 7.4.2. Mac OSX Server manages the router (which has a fixed IP from the ISP). Because the Mac OSX Server runs a DNS server (supporting a local domain), OSX Server reconfigured the Airport Extreme, so that it would forward DNS queries to the server. The server's dns server will forward queries for non-local domains to the ISP's dns servers.
All clients get their IP configuration using DHCP from the router. You can't use the DHCP service of the server, as you can't disable DHCP on the router (in NAT mode).
All clients get the router's IP as the dns server.
    HOWEVER:
The Airport Extreme can't connect to the internal DNS server! *It doesn't seem to be able to route dns requests to the internal network* (verified using nslookup). Any dns queries sent to the router will time out.
Come on, Airport Extreme team.. you can't claim the Airport Extreme to be the ideal router in combination with an OSX server, if this simple and very common setup is not supported! How hard can it be to either:
...*Allow us to disable DHCP on the router* (even when in NAT mode), so we can use the OSX server for this (which will dispatch the correct DNS settings)
...*Allow the router to route DNS queries to the local DNS* (OSX) server (which should be working anyway)

blackbit, Welcome to the discussion area!

    That is true.

  • Osx server hardware support

    Hey guys
I want to buy a Mac Mini but I'm really confused as to if I the 799 Mac mini will run osx server software. I can see when I go to the App Store it is a 20.00 upgrade but will the hardware support it? I went to an apple store and the guy showed me in the App Store that it's there for upgrade however when I called the apple 800 number they said you can't run the server OS on anything other than the server model.
    Any clarification is appreciated.
    SG

    Hi SG...
So much for 800 numbers... LOL...

  • HT204561 Doesn't OSX Server 4.1 support IPhone 4s any more

On my old OS X Server Version I could integrate an IPhone 4s. But now it fail.

    Hi,
What do you mean by integrate? Did you enroll the iPhone 4S into profile manager on earlier versions of OSX Server?
We need more info on your statement that you could integrate the iPhone 4S.
What kind of error message do you get and where, where does it fail?
    Kind regards,
    Jeffrey

  • Photoshop, OSX Server – write access was not granted

    Hello,
Photoshop CC (and prev versions) can't save/overwrite files on my OSX Server. I think this is a Photoshop issue because other apps can overwrite, such as InDesign and Microsoft Word.
Here's specifics for the error, my desktop machine with Photoshop CC installed, and server.

    1.— Try getting rid of the [illegal] period after "2" in "2.0_Mens"…  The server may be interpreting everything after the first period as the file type extension;
    2.—
This is the boilerplate text often used in connection to saving to a network (please NOTE the part where it explains that normally, it does work, but that it is impossible to troubleshoot someone else's network remotely, and that's why it's not supported by Adobe):
If you are opening files over a network or saving them to a network server, please cease and desist immediately in the event you are currently experiencing problems with one or more files. Working across a network is not supported.
    See:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406793.html
Copy the CLOSED file from your server to your local hard disk, work on it, save it again to your local hard disk, close it, and copy the closed file back to the server.
Of course, the fact that Adobe does not support working across a network does not necessarily mean it won't work.   It should.
Adobe's position is that there are too many variables in a network environment for them to guarantee that everything will work correctly in every network, especially given the fact that if something does not work properly, it's probably the network's fault, and Adobe has no way of troubleshooting your network.
If you can't work locally, you are on your own, and if something happens, you're on your own. If you must work from a server, make sure your network administrator is a competent professional.
When problems arise, a lot of valuable work can be lost.

  • Please Help:  OSX Server at home  vs Commercial Dedicated Hosting.

I've been considering a dedicated hosting service like GoDaddy or 1and1. I ultimately want to have an ecommerce site with downloadable products ranging from 1mb to 1gb. Most of these commercial hosting companies charge a lot for little bandwidth, storage, and ram. I would like to know if getting a business Internet service and running snow leopard server would suffice for a young web developer looking to for a better bang for buck. I already have a mac pro. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Depends on if you're looking at shared, reseller, or true dedicated hosting (only user on the server). I would only use dedicated because of the need to have more administrative privileges when running an eCommerce site.
I already had reseller hosting and I was looking at dedicated for running an eCommerce site. You're looking at $135.00 per month starting price for dedicated. That's why I chose the OSX server for myself. I got a static IP, moved all my sites to the OSX server, cancelled my reseller account and I'm saving $15/month. Only 78 more months of savings to payoff the Mac mini server.
There are pros and cons to both.
    OSX
PROS: you have full access to anything on the server; you can install any patches, upgrades, accelerators, etc. when ever you want; only monthly fee is the electricity and internet (both of which you're already using).
CONS: takes a while to learn for beginners; possibility to mess something up, security is all on you; backups are all on you; downtime based on your power grid and ISP.
    HOST
PROS: they're probably going to do some backups and security checks for you; up-time is 99.9%; faster connection; stronger firewalls; tech support
    CONS: the high monthly cost; limited administrator privileges;
I'm sure I have left some information out but you just need to do all your research until you're ready to make a jump. I went back and forth for 6 months before just driving to the Apple store one day and pulling the trigger.

  • TV don't work with OSX Server software?

Everything worked great BEFORE I updated our MacMini Intel to OSX Server software, now iTunes can't find the recent found Apple TV. And therefore the connection is gone and the syncing don't work anymore.
Any work-around or suggestions on how to solve this?
Or do I have to revert to previus userversion of OSX to make it work again?
Is there a limitation built into OSX Server software or is there maybe some kind of firewall / preferences etc that needs to be adjusted? (The built in firewall has been disconnected.)
    FYI:
All apps are up to date. The Mac Mini + Apple TV is on my local network at home and I'm trying to make it my family's digital hub for all family-related media.
    MacBook Pro CD2 & X-servers Mac OS X (10.4.9)
    MacBook Pro CD2 & X-servers   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    1) I've not tried to reset ATV from scratch. But it works fine on other Mac's on the network (sharing).
    2) Security options, yes I belive so to. I've followed all instructions and opened all ports I've seen mentioned i apples Knowledge database / support. Still don't work. Maybe I've missed some ports...
    3) YES! It works fine sharing the MacMinis lib over the network.
    4) Today I also tried to reinstall iTunes. But no luck.
    Any mor suggestions anyone? Thx
I really wanny solve this, otherwhise my ATV is pretty useless for me...

  • Apache virtual host with OSX Server?

I have been running OSX Server for a while now, and just recently I decided to get McMyAdmin for my Minecraft server. The web client for McMyAdmin runs on port 8080, but I wanted it on port 80. I wanted to use it with my domain, so I just created a sub domain and pointed it to my server. The problem is that OSX Server apparently doesn't let me use port 80, even when websites are turned off. I decided to delete Server and just use plain apache. This worked until I realized that my website was only accessible locally. I have all the correct ports forwarded, etc. But I get the error:
    Response Error.
    Technical description:
502 Bad Gateway - Response Error, a bad response was received from another proxy server or the destination origin server.
when I try to connect from outside my network. This is probably just some simple thing I missed but it would be nice if someone could just point out what I did wrong here. Back to the point, I want to know how to run the proxy to my web client on port 8080 AND ALSO run OSX Server with or without apache virtualhost.
    Thanks in advance,
    Eamon

Web is stupidly easy - Apache has extensive support for multiple virtual hosts in a single server and will happily support as many domains/hostnames as you can throw at it.
Mail is a little trickier since it needs to hook into some kind of directory server to validate user addresses.
Mac OS X's Open Directory does support this, but it's a little cumbersome (basically every user has to exist in the main Open Directory domain as well as having a secondary email address(es) in the other domain(s).
This can get especially tricky when you have users with the same shortname in different domains - for example if you give [email protected] a secondary email address of [email protected] and you then get a new user [email protected], you can't give the third 'joe' the address 'joe' in Open Directory since that's already taken. This means he'll have to login using different credentials from his email address. Confused yet? You bet.
If you're prepared to eschew Open Directory you can just use Postfix's built-in support for virtual hosting, but it's a little more complex to setup and support and is entirely command-line based (i.e. there's no GUI for setting it up or supporting it).
So, for that reason you might be prepared to setup multiple virtual machines for each domain. It really depends on how much the domains are related (if at all).

  • File locking with OSX Server & Microsoft Word

We have a small office LAN based on a Airport Extreme bases station. Periodically Microsoft Word reports a break in connection to the shared folder where we store documents to get disconnected. When that happens and the user reconnects to the share, the user gets the file read-only message for the Word document that was open at the time.
I have found that in order to clear the read-only flag, I have to restart the server and open the Word file on the server with the ID of the user who was editing the file on the remote computer. Only that seems to clear the file locking that causes the file to be read-only.
I cannot figure out a less drastic way to release the lock file. I don't see any hidden temp files in the same folder as the document that is locked for editing found by ls -a or in the root direction of the shared folder in the .TemporaryItems/folders.<UID> that seems to be holding the lock.
I have run chflags nouchg <Word file> from Terminal, but that seems to have no effect either. I also used xattr to see if there were any locks held that way, but I don't see anything that way either.
File sharing to Macs only, which are configured just to use AFP through OSX Server.
Does anyone understand how the file locks of Word documents can be released directly with out restarting the server?
I should add that the underlying problems seems to be WiFi related. The behavior is that the WiFi connection seems to break long enough that the shared volumes disconnects. Outlook also causes a break. This behavior seems to have started with 10.9 and the purchase of new Retina Display MacBook Pros. I turned off AppNap on the Office applications but that is not clearly helpful. I also have been told the problem seems more likely to occur when Word is open in the background and another program like Outlook is in the foreground.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

Apple write an operating system and also produce file sharing software as part of that to be used as a file server. Apple provide documentation for third-party software developers on how they should write software to work with Apple's software and also give those developers early access to new versions so those third-party developers can test and if needed make adjustments and issue updates to cope with any Apple changes.
Some third-party developers are good at dealing with this, some are bad, and some totally ignore what Apple does and give the impression they don't care if their product works properly or not. I think we can all judge where Microsoft sits.
It appears Microsoft have never paid any attention in particular to how Apple expect file-locking to be handled when accessing files on a Mac server. There have been problems for years and years and years with Office. Two other problems I have seen which seem different to yours but probably related are -
With Office documents it is supposed to be possible for more than one person to edit the same file at the same time, consider it a miracle if this actually works
With Office in particular Word, there is an auto-save function, unfortunately the way this seems to be implemented it seems that Word creates a new temporary file each time it auto-saves the document and keeps all the previous temporary files open still, this eventually means potentially over a hundred temporary files are open - just for one Word document and you can then hit a limit on the total number of files you are allowed to have open at the same time. At this point further auto-saves fail, and you also encounter great difficulty doing a real full save of the document.
I do not hold Apple completely blameless over this issue, it is likely their file-locking implementations change too often, and have inadequate documentation, however even considering this a company the size of Microsoft with the amount of sales (and profit) they derive from Office for the Mac has no excuses at all for failing to put the effort in to resolve any such clearly critical problems.
We could go on and on about other areas where Microsoft don't play by the (software) rules. Even in Windows Office does not obey the standard print dialog rules Microsoft specified themselves!
Unfortunately not only is Office for Mac upgraded infrequently, but even when new paid for upgrades are released Microsoft have a history of still not fixing bugs. It goes without saying that a mere free update is even less likely to actually fix a bug, typically such free updates only address security issues. The next version of Office is going to be Office for Mac 2014 see http://www.macworld.com/article/2106643/microsoft-will-release-a-new-version-of- office-for-mac-this-year.html
One area I confidently predict Microsoft not to resolve in Office for Mac 2014 is that fact that Word for Mac still does not support right-to-left languages like Hebrew and Arabic. This is despite the fact that OS X itself has supported this for years and years, and despite the fact other Mac programs support this including the free TextEdit and Pages - both of which can read Word files. Some people may remember that at one point the Israeli Government temporarily banned all Microsoft software over this issue. See http://apple-beta.slashdot.org/story/03/10/15/2215249/israeli-government-suspend s-microsoft-contracts This issue goes back over TEN years!!
I note that Microsoft has now taken their OfficeForMac blog offline, probably due to the weight of criticisms. I would not say it is due to out-right anti-Microsoft hate, that war ended long ago. We just want products that work. I myself do use Microsoft products, even at home - where they are the best solution, so I use Microsoft Media Center for example. Sadly this is now being neglected by Microsoft.

  • Android MS RDP - RPC Error: Your connection was denied because of a Resource Access Policy (TS_RAP). Please contact your server administrator. (2147965402).

I love iTap Mobile.  Paid for the app.  Sorry to see them discontinue it, but now I know why.  Microsoft bought them out!  But even though free, I am getting an error: RPC Error: Your connection was denied because of a Resource Access
Policy (TS_RAP). Please contact your server administrator. (2147965402).  I worked with iTap to fix this so I guess they sold Microsoft their older buggy code...  Microsoft, please fix!
PS: This is the Android version.  Mac and iOS are both okay.
EDIT:  After an update a few months ago, iOS is no longer working.  Not sure if the problem is related to the Android MSRDP issue.
UPDATE - Relevant posts (need Android RDP software engineer to fix):
Event Viewer Log when using Android client:
    The user
"DOMAIN\testuser", on client computer "10.x.x.x", met connection authorization policy requirements and was therefore authorized to access the RD Gateway server. The following authentication method was used: "NTLM". (This
is most likely for logging into RD Web - icons shows up).
    The
user "DOMAIN\testuser", on client computer "10.x.x.x", did not meet resource authorization policy requirements and was therefore not authorized to resource"localhost".
The following error occurred: "23002".  (This is after clicking on any
    of the icons).
    I
think the Android MS RDP client is providing the incorrect resource.  It shouldn't be "localhost".
It should be the RD Connection Broker's hostname, I believe.
Here's what it should look like (connected using a Windows PC going
through the RD Web portal via Internet Explorer):
The user "DOMAIN\testuser", on client computer "10.x.x.x", met connection
authorization policy requirements and was therefore authorized to access the RD Gateway server. The following authentication method was used: "NTLM".
The user "DOMAIN\testuser", on client computer "10.x.x.x", met resource
authorization policy requirements and was therefore authorized to connect to resource "rdsfarm.domain.com".
The user "DOMAIN\testuser", on client computer "10.x.x.x", connected
    to resource "rdsfarm.domain.com".
    Stephan,
Do you have any way to contact the software engineer who worked on the Android version of the RDP client?  Please
have them read this thread.  They need to fix the hard coded "localhost" resource to be a variable (namely whatever the user put in for the server).
This is why the MS RDP app is failing in situations where the FQDN for the RD Gateway and Connection Broker uses
    the same host name.
Again, this is not a configuration problem on our end as it works as intended with the native Windows RDP client
as well as the Mac and iOS version of the mobile RDP client (all based on iTap Mobile's RDP app).
This is a problem specific to the Android RDP app.
PS: No matter how hard I try, the WYSIWYG editor is not very WYSIWYG at all, and so everything here looks messed up even though it looked right when I posted it (it is deleting new blank lines I'm inserting to make it spaced out and easier to read). See
below to read the post in context.

Thanks for the bumps, everyone.  I haven't check this thread in a while because I basically gave up on Microsoft's ability to respond.  Unlike paid apps, there's no number to call or ticket to open when an app like this malfunctions.
Just to give you an update, iOS users started having issues connecting a few months ago.  I don't remember what version started this.  I'm not sure if it's the same problem.
Also, the newest version now gives a slightly different error message:  RpcOverHttpEndpointException: 2, Your connection was denied because of a Resource Access Policy (TS_RAP).  Please contact your server administrator.
For Android users, I am starting to recommend Xtralogic Remote Desktop Client.  It's a paid app, but it works great.  I don't know of any alternative for iOS.
MSRDP for Mac OSX (was also an iTap application) continues to work throughout the many updates.
We need a software engineer from MS to read my first post.  All the information that will point to a fix is there.  I strongly believe someone hardcoded the string "localhost" instead of using a variable to point to the FQDN of the rdsfarm
    name.
Here's that info again (copied/pasted).  It doesn't take an engineer to understand the issue.  If you know how to decipher Event Logs, you can see where the problem is.

  • Can I use OSX Server instead of Dropbox?

We are considering buying OSX Server.  One basis for the purchase would be to replace Dropbox.  We currently use Dropbox with local sync of folders, so all oru people work directly in folders that are synced to everyone else.  Thus all docs are available locally all the time adn then they are available on everyones iPads, iPhones and Android phones.  However a downside of that is that it takes space on the local hard drive, we can have conflicts where multiple people open a file.
Can someone please explain how remote users get access to the OSX server and the documents on it and if there is a "syncing" option similar to Dropbox?
    Thanks
    John

#1 Yes, if set up correctly the server can be available to everyone with Internet access.
Typically this would be via a VPN connection.  One caveat–only one VPN connection can be active from a particular LAN.  In other words, if two computers on the same LAN want to connect via VPN to your server, this will not work (at least it wouldn't under earlier versions of OS X).
WebDAV is a possibility but I have not had good results when using WebDAV.  Access is limited to apps that support WebDAV connections (such as Pages, Numbers, and Keynote).  Even then it seemed a bit problematic.
#2 Any offline documents from the server must be managed manually.  In other, you must manually copy them back and forth.  As Linc mentioned above, OS X Server does not offer sync functionality.

  • OSX Server on a Powerbook?

I have a very small-load server need: We are two designers who want to share a common project folder from remote sites. VPN would seem to be a good approach (more on that below), so I would like to see if I can set up a cheap OSX Server using an old 500Mhz G4 Powerbook. I would attach a FireWire 400 external disk that I already have, so the hardware cost is zero. $500 for the server, and I am there. But:
    1) No PowerBooks are listed in the supported hardware requirements, although less-powerful boxes like a G3 tower are. I don't know if this is because it just didn't occur to Apple that anyone would want to use a PowerBook for this, or if there is some intrinsic hardware limitation (lack of 2 NICs? The iMac is listed, and I could probably add one on the CardBus slot anyway.)
Has anyone run OSX Server on a PowerBook, or know of any reason you definitely can't?
    2) I have no experience managing servers of any kind, and no time to become very savvy, which is why I am looking at OSX. Hoping that if all I ever want is a simple file server with VPN, it won't become a second job for me and I can just let it run in a closet somewhere. Is this a fantasy?
    3) I don't know if the PowerBook will prove to be just too slow for even our relatively low-load needs. It is somewhat pokey running Tiger as an accounting machine now, but acceptable (and I figure a fair amount of that load is Aqua, which shouldn't be giving it a workout when used as a server). Any thoughts?
    4) Almost forgot - if there is another solution besides VPN that would require less work, it would be great. We are currently trying out FolderShare, which is kind of perfect (we each have local folders with all project files in them, and FolderShare keeps them synced between machines - like having two "masters") except for one thing - it is notoriously unreliable. Slow incremental changes seem to be working ok, but toss it a 2Gb folder with a few thousand files, and it just seems to lose track of what it is doing and quit syncing altogether, even through restarts.
VPN would allow us to maintain a master project folder on the server, then we would need to design some kind of checkout system, which I am not looking forward to finding, setting up, or administering, either.
Thanks in advance for any and all thoughts.

Thanks for your helpful reply - I am going to take a look at Sharepoints and see if it might be the ticket. It looks promising.
In response to your other questions:
Network setup: We have two locations, one of which would be the host location. We each have simple wifi local networks each using a Qwest dsl router, with NAT, WPA Personal, MAC listing, and SSID turned off. That's about the depth of my network security ability. I hoped that Apple might have a clear walkthrough of how to set up Server for our needs. That was as much plan as I had.
The file sharing has to be as transparent as possible, so standard Finder/Open&Save dialog operations are necessary. That's what is great about FolderShare (despite its critical reliability flaw), and why an FTP solution won't work. We just have hundreds or thousands of file operations every day, and can't take time out to manage files through another app.
Thanks also for the heads-up on configuring the fireall to accept connections from only the standard remote site(s). It would be great to be able to access it from the road as well, but if there is no way to do that without creating a significant security risk, we can live without it. (Is there any way to do so?)
    Cheers,
    Allen

  • Windows Server 2012 Used: Error Message from Windows 7 PC: Remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator.

We are using Windows Server 2012 Standard installed in VMWare / Virtual machine and to access this we use vSphere client and Remote Desktop Connection / service was already enabled and was working fine with User PCs / laptops remote desktop into the server
2012, until it gave an error message of: Remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license servers available to provide a license.  Please contact the server administrator. whilst logging into the server.
We DON'T use Active Directory nor and we don't use domain and not looking to use it any-time soon.
I checked the RD Licensing Diagnoser and it says the grace period has expired and the licensing mode for the remote desktop session host server is not configured.  I have checked the Remote Desktop Gateway has been stopped and I tried to start it and it
resumed to stop, here I assume its where the licensing part comes in to re-enabled this.
I have been trying to follow these articles online: http://ryanmangansitblog.com/2013/03/27/deploying-remote-desktop-gateway-rds-2012/ and http://www.concurrency.com/blog/rds8-add-a-licensing-server-2/#Install  the overview part that I cannot get into,
because I think we have to be is AD DS for this which we don't.  Is there a way around this for non domain / just standalone set-up?  Is it a must / requirement we need to be in a domain in order for Remote Desktop Connection to work?
Also, we have a Windows Server 2012 RDS CALs - 10 (software and licence key), will the licence key work for the Windows 2012 Server Standard?  We do not want to install the other Server mentioned which comes with CAL / licence key as its time consuming
to reinstall other programs.  I have installed  Server role service of Remote Desktop Licencing and automatically installed other associated services needed.  in the RD Licencing Manager, the Server had a red cross and I "Activate Server"
where I followed: http://www.concurrency.com/blog/rds8-add-a-licensing-server-2/#Install in Install Licences section and I have used the licence key of CAL - 10 mentioned above; it stated I have successfully completed the install licences wizard and displayed:
10 Windows Server 2012 - RDS Per User CAL installed, and in the RD Licensing Manager the server turned into a green tick and added the licence.
I then tested the Remote desktop connection from my PC and the same error message was there and checked the RD Licensing Diagnoser and the same error messages was there.  I haven't restart the services of Remote Gateway / the server itself; do I really
    need to reboot server?
Any advice / guidance would be very much appreciated and this is a urgent matter.
    Thank you for your time.
