SUS - Supplier Self Reg and Vendor Connectivity

Hello Gurus,
Could you pls help on SUS and R/3 MM Business process. If anybody have documents, Pls send asap.
We are implementing SUS and MM process. I have couple of things on my mind.
1. Can we enhance SUS - Registration Page. I know its BSP Pages. Can we enhance with new fields, Pls give me the structures to Enhance.
2. How to the BP will create with the above enhanced fields.
3. How to Create Vendor in MM with the corresponding BP (Business Partner).
4. Vendor creation process is Mannual (Development) or through Config can we do this?
Appriciate for the immediate help.
Thanks,
Ram

Hi
1. You can configure the questions as part survey under SUS configuration.
2. SUS vendor transfer to MM can be done by developing content in XI. In std system u have to create manually in MM for vendors accepted in SUS.

NNK.

  • SUS Supplier - Delegated User Administration

    Hello,
We are trying to implement SUS Supplier Self registration in SRM 7.0 and we want to give supplier administrators access to perform delegated user administration for their users. When we implement this scenario, the SUS system requires access to SU01 in the backend security role for the supplier to be able to find users and unlock, delete etc. However there is no control in terms on what users they can manage once SU01 is given to them. Have you seen this in the past and is there any control that can be built into it?
    Thanks,
    Varun

    Trilchan,
Companies are not activated by default that is the reason you are able to see only ume.tpd.companies=0 which means their is no company available in portal. You can add the company codes in a comma seperated list like ume.tpd.companies=A,C,B in this example you have three companies named A,B and C. Its upto your convenient to add no. of companies and name of the company groups based on your business requirement.
    Additional info:
When you add a company in portal a group shall be created automatically with the name STPD_<CompanyName> example STPD_A where A is company name.

  • EBP-SUS-Bidding Engine- No supplier self registration

    Hello,
We are in SRM 5.0 in Extended Classic scenario. We use SUS-MM (plan driven procurement)  and SUS-EBP. Catch is customer does not want supplier self registration. We also use CUA as part of solution manager. In this scenario what is the best way for vendor management and user management (employee for business partner)? What is the best way to replicate vendors from ECC to EBP and SUS? What is the best way to create users using CUA with least maintenance effort (as we will manager the creation of supplier users) ?

    Hi Bill,
    Thanks for ur response.
So will the XI scenario not suffice? Is it not recommended to go with the XI scenario?

  • Supplier and Vendor ? difference.

What is difference between supplier and Vendor ?
    Regards

    Hi,
Vendor and Suppliers are almost same. Sometimes we may have difference. There is a concept called DUNS Number which they call as Supplier. There will be a system like third party system which is called one source system and they will collect all vendor information from different companies and sell these information to the people who need information reg vendors.
In that term Duns numbers are called as suppliers.
    Hope this helps for you.

  • Supplier Self Service (SRM-SUS)

    Hi All,
does anyone have or no of a definite list of which SRM-SUS fucntionality is available in
    Extended Classic Scenario
    Classic Scenario
    Standalone
What I'm trying to find out is which scenarios the following are available in:
PO exchange from EBP to SUS
    Catalogue Content Management via SUS
    Supplier Goods Receipting via SUS
    Supplier Invoice Receupting via SUS
    Cheers
    Chris

    please refer to the follwoing
    ·        The classic scenario
The shopping cart is created and approved in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The remainder of the procurement process takes place in the backend ERP system(s) and all other follow-on documents, such the purchase order, goods receipt/service entry sheet and invoice, are located there. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for the operational procurement business scenarios when buying materials. There is no support for services.
    ·        The extended classic scenario
The shopping cart is created in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The purchase order and follow-on documents are also created there and then replicated to the backend system. The purchase order in SAP Enterprise Buyer is the leading purchase order and cannot be changed in the backend system. Goods receipts and invoices can be pre-entered in SAP Enterprise Buyer or entered directly in the backend system. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios. In these scenarios, you have supplier involvement for the purchase order and the purchase order response.
    ·        The standalone scenario
The shopping cart and purchase order are processed directly in SAP Enterprise Buyer. You have no materials management functions in your ERP system and, instead, use those in SAP Enterprise Buyer for all procurement processes. The final invoice is sent to a backend accounting system. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have complete supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios

  • Airport - Self Assigned IP Addess and no Connectivity

I have been having trouble connecting to wireless.  It had been working fine for quite some time (years) and stopped connecting yesterday, although the PCs in our house connect just fine.
In trying to diagnose the issues, I noticed the Airpot connectin says that the IP address is self-assigned and will not be able to connect to the internet.  Any ideas?  I tried deleting the Airport connection and re-added it, as well as deleting the System Configuration files in the Preference files (suggestions I saw in other discussions) but neither worked.  Please help.
    Thanks,

That only means AirPort could not lease an IP from the router. There's nothing to say why it couldn't. The problem may be with the Mac, or it may be with the router. As a first approach, try re-starting the router.

  • Remoteapp and Desktop Connections Self signed Cert

I know there are similar post on this subject though I did not find the answer that I was looking for.  I am using rdweb services to publish applications over a WAN connection to our remote office as our SQL server applications reside in our main office.
Both offices are on the same domain/network. I do not need rdweb services to be accessed via the internet to outside users so I am relying on the internal cert to make all of this work internally.  At this time the rdweb interface works fine but the remote
office would like to utilize the RemoteApp and Desktop connections so they will not have to use the web interface but I get the same error message everyone else has posted about there being a problem with the certificate and I am not able to get any further
in the wizard at this time.
I have created my own self signed certificate via the Remote Desktop GUI, exported the cert and imported to my client PC but still it does not work.  I don't have alot of experience with the certs and possibly am doing something wrong so will give the
info to see if someone can help me out.
    Server name: TS1
    Domain: coa.local
I have created the certificate several times with the following: ts1.coa.local, *.coa.local. Once done I have exported the cert and imported to the Trusted root auth of the local computer. I have then launched the Remoteapp and Desktop wizard and filled
in the field with https://ts1/rdweb which did not work. I tried https://ts1.coa.local/rdweb which also did not work. Am I not filling in the correct syntax or is there something else I might be missing as it stops there and tells me there is a problem with
the websites certificate.  I am stumped and hope someone can help me out as I have burned alot of time trying to make this work.
    Thank you

Have you made any progress on this problem?

    Good morning
I need to have visibility of what users are online (Excel) for audit/monitoring purposes.
We are having severe performance issues and want to understand how many users are online concurrently.
In other SAP systems one can audit who is online SM04. In SM04 all BPC users logged in through Excel show up as BPCADMIN. So there is no way to tell how many users are online.
BPC for Microsoft offers a feature to find who is online. There must be a way to do the same in Netweaver?
    Thank you,

  • SRM7 Supplier self registration

    Dear Gurus,
I'm analyzing the supplier registration in SRM7 using the supplier self service.
    I have the following questions:
    1. During the supplier registration are 2 approval level process available (the first once the supplier has registered his basic data in SUS and the second after he has filled out the questionnaires) ore just one (once he has filled the questionnare)?
    2. Once the purchaser has approved the potential supplier, which data will be transferred to SRM and ERP systems? Just basic data? And which kind of business partner will be created for the operational supplier (still not a supplier)?
    3. Which master data can be changed by the supplier in the SUS?
Thanks in advance for your support.
    Best Regards,
    Valentino
Edited by: Valentino Rosso on Mar 2, 2012 8:17 PM

    Hi Valentino,
    1. As per my knowledge, workflow is only available  once the supplier is to be accepted/rejected as a business partner in SRM. You'll have to build your own workflow to be triggered when vendor registers his basic data in ROS/SUS
    2. Once the purchaser has approved the potential supplier, the purchaser fill will in a lot of details manually while creating this supplier in SRM. All the basic data that this supplier had provided while registration will be populated in appropriate fields automatically For vendors who are not yet approved as final suppliers, you can create bidders.
    3. As per standard SAP functionality, supplier can only change basic data like Company name, address and contact details in SUS.

    Nikhil

  • SUS - Adding SU01 uset as Vendor contact person

    Hi,
In SUS, we have supplier users already created in SU01. Is there a transaction to associate the SU01 users as vendor contact person in SUS? I know you can accomplish this via BBPMAININT in SRM. I don't believe we can use this transaction in SUS.
    Surendra

    Hi Sanjeev,
Thanks for that helpful soluetion. I could do the Vendor  user mapping in the Org Structure (PPOSA_BBP) , before i was trying to do the same in the Vendor Org Structure.
But, just want to know whether this mapping of Vendor Users inthe POrg structure is correct or not. If ocrrect what about the User Attributes ?They follow that of the Pur Org ?
We want to stop the Self registration by Vendors and we will generate User ID & Pswd for him to access the SUS Applciation.
    Appreciate your earliest response.

  • ICal and Addressbook connecting to eGroupware - various bugs?

    Hi all,
given CalDAV and CardDAV as standardized protocols, it shouldn't be too much of a problem to connect to private calendar and addressbook servers, you'd think... For some year's I'm running a eGroupware server, and while this product is far from being bug free, I believe it's basically massive bugs in Apple's Ca*DAV protocols that keep the synchronization from working. Let's start with iCal:
Originally, eGroupware's CalDAV implementation returned fully qualified URIs (like https://www.example.com/egroupware/calendar/) for all kinds of properties, e.g. calendar-home-set. As a result, iCal sent requests with the path //www.example.com/egroupware/calendar - i.e. instead of properly parsing the URI, it just stripped off the protocoll indicator and tried to treat the remaining string as a path.
As the CalDAV standard doesn't make any hint if URIs should be supplied as fully qualified or relative URIs, returning full URIs seems to be the safer bet, and iCal's reaction on this is IMHO as clearly a bug as it can be. Nevertheless, I patched eGroupware to supply relative URIs, and hey ho, iCal integrates fine with eGroupware now. By the way, eGroupware has some hard coded behaviour to supply only the events of one month back by default, but you can patch that behaviour as well, of course.
Now to Addressbook, and that's where I'm beyond my wits First of all, it is not possible to configure a CardDAV server in Addressbook itself, as the GUI is massively broken (just try to setup a CardDAV server https://www.example.com/egroupware/addressbook/ and you'll end up with a configured URL https://www.exmaple.com:443/egroupware/addressbook/:443<null> or something even more broken. You need to edit the file "Application Support/AddressBook/Sources/78E03291-22C9-4E27-9852-8480AD6A0F03/Configuration. plist" manually.
Now, still Addressbook sends a PROPFIND requst for current-user-privilege-set to /directory/ to the server. Don't know what kind of result the programmers expected from this, but on my CalDAV server nothing at all resides under that path, also it's not mentioned in the CalDAV as a general concept. After it got a 405 Method Not Allowed to this request, Addressbook continues sending more sensible requests, so it might not be an actual problem - I'm not sure.
Next is a PROPFIND query for addressbook-home-set to /egroupware/groupdav.php/addressbook/ wich is a perfectly expected behaviour from the standard. But first, the server replies with 401 Unauthorized. Addressbook then repeats the request, this time including the correct HTTP BASIC authentication information. Now, the server tries its best to handle this request according to standards. I quote the full response here, perhaps some pro spots a mistake in the response I'm to dumb to see:
    HTTP/1.1 207 Multi-Status
    Date: Sun, 06 Sep 2009 14:51:58 GMT

    X-Dav-Powered-By: eGroupWare CalDAV/CardDAV/GroupDAV server
    X-WebDAV-Status: 207 Multi-Status
    Content-Length: 486
    Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=100
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    Content-Type: text/xml; charset="utf-8"

    <ns1:addressbook-home-set><D:href>/egroupware/groupdav.php/addressbook/</D:href ></ns1:addressbook-home-set>
    </D:prop>
    <D:status>HTTP/1.1 200 OK</D:status>
    </D:propstat>
    </D:response>
    </D:multistatus>
I read the CardDAV RFC over and over again, but this seems to be as correct a response as you could wish. Note: out of the box eGroupware doesn't generate the D:href sub-element to ns1:addressbook-home-set but directly puts the URI as content of that element. This is not correct according to the CardDAV standard, but iCal is ignoring exactly the same mistake of the CalDAV implementation of eGroupware. It doesn't make a difference for Addressbook either - both variants lead to the error message 'Von CardDAV-Server Fehler (207) für den Benutzer "xxx" erhalten.' This is a strange message to show, as 207 is not an error code. Of course I patched eGroupware to return 200 OK as HTTP status (contradicting the standard), and hey ho, in Konsole you'll see an error message stating "Expected multi-status response but got status code: 200".
So - Addressbook actually expects and checks for 207 Multi-Status, i.e. the message on the GUI is giving us no indication on the actual problem. Some easy checks proved that Addressbook wouldn't react any different if the server replies with plain nonsense (e.g. syntax errors in the XML file). So, obviously, Addressbook can't cope with an aspect of the response it gets, fails to generate any log or message box about the problem, and sets a misleading error indication on the GUI.
And now? Does anybody have a good hint what could Addressbook make work here? When can fixes to iCal and Addressbook realistically be expected, if at all?

    Hello Pelzi,
Same problem here with iCal an eGroupware. Since I opgraded to SnowLeopard, my Calander isn't syncing anymore.

  • Supplier self invoice in Israel

    Hi
    SAP version 4.7.
I want to enter supplier self-invoice into the system.
What is the best way to do it, including the tax codes customization?
Speciel attantion to Israel VAT report and tax deduction aspects.
    Thanks in advance
    Ofer

How do you envisage this happeneing??
It can be done by many different ways.
Either by Using Enterprise Portal, SAP Exchange Infrastructure or other middleware.
SAP have many different idocs and bapis for this type of function.
We use SAP XI and have an external facing website that vendors and customers can log onto to provide or obtain information on their accounts, update status and upload invoices to reference the purchase orders they have received - which in turn links directly into the SAP backend.
This is a link to to the SAP Interface Repository:  http://ifr.sap.com/catalog/query.asp
Select your version, module and it lists the available bapis/idocs that are usable within your version of the system.

  • How to handle BP who is both Customer and Vendor during history import?

    Hi Forum,
This is for importing Financial transactions for Open Sales Orders, Open Sales Invoices, Open Purchase Orders and Open Purchase Invoices and also for importing history for all Closed Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders and Invoices.
Our prospect has in their current system Business Partners who are both Customers and Suppliers (Vendors). In SAP Business ONE, BP is unique. It is recommended I believe in situation where BP is both Customer and Vendor, we need to create two BP Ids.
    Question?
How do we import open and history of invoices in this situation where the same BP is both Customer and Vendor? Any tips would help please.
    Thank you all very much.

    Hi Syed,
As Gordon and Rahul said, it is painful for you if you import closed transactions.
Try to compromise your client that to use the old system for last year/old reports.
Its always good practice to import the Opening balance and even the open documents only.
If you have partially open items, then import the document for open quantities only.
Let's say, if you have a sale order with an item of 100 Qty. Among that 100 qty, lets 20 qty has been already delivered then you have to create the sale order in SAP for remaining 80 qty only.
