              First of all, the entire context of the xsd is too long, it could discourage other people from reading the entire post. Please refrain from posting the entire document.
              The xsd is not well-formed, that should explain the errors that you are getting when activating the external definition. I'm pasting a valid xsd that could be read in XI: It should look like this (this is a simple example only)

More then likely that external drive is formatted the Windows NTFS format which Mac OS X can Read but it can not Write to that format. So you would need to copy all the data off that drive, to either a Windows PC or to your Mac, thenn use the Mac to format it for the Mac OS. Which would be Mac Extended (Journaled) with a Partition Table of GUID.
If you want to use that drive on both Mac and PC then you would need to format it either FAT32 or exFAT.

How to keep the previous versions of my iWork files after moving them?

I have several iWork files which were stored in the iCloud. Today I was trying to move them into my USB drive. But after I moved them, I found that all the previous versions of these files were gone. If I moved them from iCloud to my Mac, those previous versions stayed there, but they would be gone if I moved the files into the USB drive.
Is there any way that I can keep the files' previous versions after moving to a USB drive? My USB drive is in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format.

I am sorry that I didn't make my point clear enough. By "previous versions" I mean "File > Revert To > Browse All Versions". If I moved my files to a thumb drive then it will become empty, I am wondering is there any way to prevent it from being erased. Thank you!

Reverted my previous reversion, since the original change wasn't the cause of the Mustella breakage. So once again:
The 'lineBreak' style is now properly declared as non-inheriting.
For a long time we've intended for it to be non-inheriting... it lives in BasicNonInheritingStyles.as! And we want it to be non-inheriting, because in TLF this format does not inherit from parent FlowElement to child FlowElement, so in Flex is should not inherit from parent UIComponent to child UIComponent. But the metadata incorrectly said inherit="yes". It now correctly says inherit="no".

Reverting my previous change 11396. After further testing, realized that the perceived performance speedup through the edge server was due to a bug where not all nested objects were being deserialized properly.

To change the username you should follow these steps ;
1-You should have to use nQUDMULGen command to export your rpd into a file.Go to ...OracleBI\server\Bin
ex. nQUDMULGen -u Administrator -p Administrator -r C:\OracleBI\server\repository\paint.rpd -o c:\paint.txt
2-After importing try to find your user and change its settings.
3-Then import it back to your rpd.
ex. nQUDMLExec -u Administrator -p Administrator -i c:\paint.txt -b C:\OracleBI\server\repository\paint.rpd -o C:\OracleBI\server\repository\paint2.rpd
The new rpd is going to be created (paint2).Test the new rpd.If its OK.Then replace with your original rpd.
I hope this method works...

Lr 3.4.1 screen crashes on load; reverts to previous screen or won't shut down--see "more like thli

1.   Have successfully imported some images to Lr 3.4.1, but when I try to import the second batch of images from the same memory card by going thro the import steps, Lr either reverts to the previous screen (of the last set of images) or the whole screen goes blank, and the tabs can't be operated, and I can't close the application either.    What have I done wrong or what do I need to do to correct this problem?

6/9/11     Problem now seems to be resolved with the download and use of Lr 3.5!!   It seems to me that my original problems seem to be caused by the memory card and trying to download the second half of the images in a different folder???.

This feature does not exist in InDesign. You're best hope is that you have a backup of the previous file. Moving forward, you might want to try a free product called Radish that allows you to save versions and revert back to previous versions when needed. Hi All,
Is there a way to fetch metadata value of immediate previously cheked in document of a particuler type.
Is there a way to interact with database directly from ucm...something like querrinng the database directly thru idocscript or thru the script segments available in the ucm under the rule for profiles tab.
Or any other suggestion to go abt it.

I think you should write a little bit more about how your scenario looks like in the real life.
1. the first thing I think of is "Check in Similar" button which appears on the screen when you check in a new item
2. however, what is "immediate previously checked in document of a type" for you? Do you want use the metadata field "Document Type"? Or, is the distinction based on anything else (e.g. profiles)? Do you want the document of this user, or of any user, who could check it in parallel?
As for querying the database, do you want to use it to reach the scenario above? Or anything else?
There are several ways how to reach database from UCM. If you want to use it for the scenario above I guess your first option will be a custom component, which will create a new service for you (unless you can use a standard one). Within this service you will create few queries - custom components provide a framework to do so quite easily.

Is there a way to revert to previous version of NUMBERS? I am using MAVERICK and I want to go back.

You can have the iWork '09 apps be the default but still have the new apps installed. After I installed the new iWork updates I created a folder on an external drive & named it "other applications." I then moved the new iWork apps to this folder & renamed the applications Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. I have icons for two versions of Pages & Numbers (I rarely use Keynote) in my Dock. Even with two versions of Pages & Numbers running, double-clicking an existing file opens in Pages 4.3 or Numbers 2.3. This will also keep the Mac App Store from nagging you to update.

Hate Safari 4. How can I revert to previous version?

I can't count the ways that Safari 4 is a pain. I'll just go with Firefox if I can't revert to previous version. Any directions to get me back to the older version?

As only having my macbook for less than a month starting with Safari 3, everything was a dream. Now since the update with Safari 4, i'm doing everything but enjoying my new macbook, trying to figure out why my gmail doesn't work, looking everywhere trying to figure out how to uninstall this CRAP FING BROWSER!

No, it won't revert to the prior OS X but you you may have third party apps installed that were compatible with Lion that may not be compatible with Mountain Lion.
