QE: yes - method on HTTPMultiService fixed
HTTPMultiService.rootURL -> baseURL - it is interpreted as a directory name, not a file name like rootURL
endpoint now works on mx.rpc.remoting.RemoteObject (not just the mxml variant)
also promoted concurrency and showBusyCursor to RemoteObject
removed RTE from getOperation for HTTPMultiService as it messes with data binding expressions eval'd before the operation is added

How can I mkinitcpio into my current initramfs? It doesn't seem to write into the actual one unless specified to it

I hope someone will help me out. Just a week a ago I gathered sufficient courage to turn my bloated and slowly running Ubuntu laptop (for professional use) into revitalized Arch box

Thanks for your quick replies guys!
I think you could successfully participate in the contest "the members who are responding faster than their shadows.....":D
Cerebral you might be right. Also I few days ago I followed the advice of Tardo in the following thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=34566 and I installed the xfburn-svn-25797-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz in my quest for a  to get a lightweight burner with pacman -U. How do I get rid of it? Just pacman -R xfburn-svn-25797-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz ?? I installed that package since neither graveman (hangs) nor hacburn (can not detect my device) are working. I like k3b but not the bunch and MBs of dependencies.
I will review the AUR and ABS wiki page on how to get rid of the xfburn-svn package....:P
Thanks again for your quick responses!;)

  • Dreamweaver CC - Problem with SVN

I have just upgrated from Dreamweaver CS6 to Dreamweaver CC only to find that CC has a serious problem with SVN.
When I try to synchronize with SVN I get the following message "Before using this feature, you must enable check-in/check-out. Would you like to enable that feature now?"
Clicking ok takes me to the servers list. There is only one server available wich is marked as Remote.
I edit the server and go to advanced tab but when I click enable check-in another pop-up appears saying:
"If your site is a Subversion site, enabling check in/check out will erase subversion meta data. To work with Subversion you must re-enter your SVN server information and re-synch the entire site"
    Something is seriously wrong here....
to work with svn dreamweaver wants to have checkin/ checkout enabled but to enable check-in / checkout I have to disable svn!!!!
Not working with SVN is not an option for us, I will revert to CS6 for now that does not have this problem. This problem makes DW CC completely unusable for people working in group environments. Please have this fixed or post a workaround as we cannot upgrade without this feature.

I've found a workaround for this (I'm using the Trial to push my bosses into buying but it should probably work with the final version too).
1.- Set up your site without check out or svn (save)
2.- Edit your site and add the check out option in servers - make sure you put in a name or it won't let you save later on (don't save)
3.- Set up your SVN info (say yes to disable check in)
4.- Save your site and exit Dreamweaver immediately
5.- Open registry editor and go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Common\13.0\Sites"
6.- In the list (-Site1,-Site2,-SiteN...) go to the site you want SVN on
7.- Find the key labeled "SiteServer N\Enable Check In/Check Out" (it should be a value of 0x00000000)
8.- Edit that key (right-click -> Modify...) and change the "0" to "1"
9.- OK out of regedit and close it
10.- Dreamweaver should now be able to connect to SVN without a problem
It looks like it's an error with the Site Manager in DW, since all I'm doing is changing a setting and it works fine.

  • Revision number in forms.

    Hi,
I have a series of forms that are stored in a subversion repository.  I want to be able to display the repository's version onto the form.  Does anyone know if this is possible?  We can do this with SSRS reports and stored procedures but this is through SQL Server Manager and Visual Studio.
    Can Adobe LiveCycle achieve this?
    thanks,
    Paul

If you mean the version number of the SVN commit, then yes it is possible. I
use script objects for all my functions and right at the top of the file i
create a variable (e.g. var version = "$Id:$";). Then on the XDP file right
click and go to TortoiseSVN > Properties and create a new property
(svn:keywords) with a property value (Revision HeadURL Id) . Each time the
XDP is committed, it updates the variable with the latest date, time and
    user commit info.

  • Data Modeler : Comparing models

    Hi,
A ct of mine is trying to compare data models, they have some questions:
    1) Is there am easy way to change the "from" and "to" models, I mean depending on the first file you open you set the "from" model. It could be good to change: compare model A agisnt B, and B against A.
    2) Another thing when you compare models if you have the "Tables" option selected and then expand the menu, all the tables are unmarked, is it the expected behaviour?
    3) Also is it possible to syn with a svn repository?

    Hi Luis,
what version of Data Modeler do you use?
    1) Is there am easy way to change the "from" and "to" models, I mean depending on the first file you open you set the "from" model. It could be good to change: compare model A agisnt B, and B against A.no, not for 3.0
    2) Another thing when you compare models if you have the "Tables" option selected and then expand the menu, all the tables are unmarked, is it the expected behaviour?they are unmarked if there are no differences - you can use check box in front of "Tables" to mark them all
    3) Also is it possible to syn with a svn repository?yes in 3.0 (including early adopters versions), you can look at demonstrations here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/datamodeler/overview/index.html

    Hi Mahesh,
According to log file, I find the message ‘The setup100.exe.config file was not found, therefore the DTSWizard and SQLWatson app config files were not replaced’. It seems that the SQL Server setup file is not complete. Please check that if the SQL Server
setup file is corrupted, if it is corrupted, please download it again and reinstall SQL Server 2008 R2.
However, if there’s no problem with the setup file, please check that if there is third-party software such as anti-virus software on your computer blocking the process of SQL Server installation. In addition, make sure that you choose ‘Run as administrator’
to launch the setup and configure SQL Server service accounts appropriately with administrator permission during the installation.
For more details about this error, please review the following similar thread.

  • How can I use an existing local svn workspace with SQL Developer?

I have a couple directories of files on my local drive that hold my current working files from the svn repository. I use both TortoiseSVN and Cygwin to keep the local files in sync with the repository, depending on my mood. I have created a connection to the repository in SQL Developer, and I can browse the repository just fine. My goal is to have SQL Developer play nice with the local files, just like the other two Subversion clients do. Is there a way I can inform SQL Developer of my local files without re-importing them through the Versioning -> Import... wizard, without changing anything (or putting anything at risk) in the local workspace?
Thanks in advance for your help -
    Wally

Then can her computer be authorized to both accounts?
Absolutely. You can authorize any given computer to up to five iTunes Store accounts.
If purchases are made on her account, to a computer authorized to my account, can I put those songs on my iPod?
If you connect your iPod to her computer, yes. Tracks download only to the computer from which they're purchased, regardless of which iTunes Store account is used for the purchase. Or you could copy the tracks from her computer to yours and then authorize your computer to her iTunes Store account. But that's sort of defeating the original purpose, it would seem to me.
is it better to buy music through Amazon downloads and/or actually purchasing CDs to avoid the security features iTunes puts on its music?
That's certainly an option. If it's an entire album I want, I buy CDs. That way I can import them at the quality I want and to whichever of my systems I want. Amazon or one of the other download stores that offer tracks as MP3 are also an option, though for me download stores are best when you just want a couple of tracks off a given CD.

  • [ps3mediaserver][pms-svn][AUR] No sound while using external subtitles

    Best Regards,

Having the same problem. I'm watching all of my movies without subs now, because transcoding kills the 5.1 audio (no problems with 2 channel audio). A workaround is posted in the comments of the pms-svn package.
I will post the URL to this thread to another thread with probably the same problem (mplayer/x264). I have not yet seen a real solution to this, and I'm not really familiar with the bugzilla's from both projects.
    Other threads with similar problems:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=112219 (devede also uses mplayer and x264)
    https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/22654 (related bug in Archlinux)
    http://bugzilla.mplayerhq.hu/show_bug.cgi?id=1865 (related bug in mplayer)
    https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=115165 (this thread)
Another workaround might be to trick pms into using ffmpeg or vlc rather than mencoder. I'm also streaming to a ps3 - I didn't try it, but it could be as easy as temporarily changing settings inside the profile for a ps3-client.

I'm currently using Gnome icon pack, so the Adwaita update didn't do anything. I tested different icons for the tray, all of them had the same problem. Is anyone else experiencing this with tint2-svn? Should I try reverting packages or will that make things even messier in the long run?

jasonwryan wrote:Yes, slight code changes have broken the patches. You could hand patch the clock files and remove those patches from the PKGBUILD (or wait until the maintainer updates the package).
Hi, thanks for this answer. tint2-svn seems to be hopelessly broken. I had to even fix the version I had installed (back in February), but the latest one seems to be an absolute trainwreck. I tried the tips from the comments:
I `m successfully compile after next changes:
    - patch launcher_apps_dir-v2.patch needs to be modified, source code in svn has been chaged in util/common.c, changes to patch on http://pastebin.com/avmcFs8s
    - patch tint2-systray.patch need to be removed, because source code in file systray/systraybar.c already have patch changes
    This one led to:
    ==> Starting build()...
    patching file src/clock/clock.c
Hunk #2 succeeded at 111 (offset 11 lines).
    patching file src/clock/clock.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 41 (offset 2 lines).
    Hunk #2 FAILED at 62.
    Hunk #3 FAILED at 78.
Hunk #4 succeeded at 286 (offset 31 lines).
2 out of 4 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/clock/clock.c.rej
    patching file src/clock/clock.h
    patching file src/config.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 435 (offset 39 lines).
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
    Aborting...
I wouldn't know how to manually fix it and there wasn't a solution in the comments. Also tried building the git version with this pkgbuild: http://sprunge.us/VaeE?sh still got this error:  No CMAKE_C_COMPILER could be found. I also googled and found out some users have reported the svn version works without patches, that didn't work for me when I tried it. It looks like I've hit a dead end. I'm using tint2 for now, but it sadly doesn't have the feature to move tray and clock to bottom when using it as a sidebar. Also it has the same transparency issues in the tray. I might be forced to start looking for a new panel

@John - no luck on the plugin angle. In checking both JDev installs that previously had the problems, they have the default extensions.
@Dave - at the time I can't say we noticed any migration notices, we certainly didn't see the migration dialog though. However the application in SVN was built on the same version of JDev so I don't expect a migration to find any changes anyhow.
However on your second point we always check out into an empty directory, as we're checking out the whole application. As such if as you say the migration utilities is always called, shouldn't that mean we always see the projects modified? We certainly don't, we're on a day by day basis checking out whole applications to different directories and we don't see that behaviour.
In turn reconsidering the modified .jpr file, from what I saw it looks to me that the whole project file is re-set to it's original state. Initially the problem detected was the libraries attached to the project were gone so we couldn't compile, but in close inspection it seems the whole .jpr file has been modified to a rather vanilla setup.
One thing I can say when we originally experienced the problem (and from memory this was true in the dim dark past when it also occurred another time), is it was a check out from a SVN tags directory, not the trunk. In thinking about it, it may be the first check out from the tags directory that we see the issue. However to get around the issue we just revert the project file in the tags directory, we don't actually change the SVN repository code (ie. commit), so the issue should keep occurring. Yet at the moment if we check out the same tags directory, the issue doesn't occur?
    Hmmm?
Btw Dave, are you an Oracle employee?
    CM.

  • SQL Developer 2.1 removes the stored password in SVN Application Data

    Hello everybody
SQL Developer is a great Tool and I use it together with the SVN Versioning System. I also use TortoiseSVN on my Windows XP Operating System, that's why I found out that either the SQL Developer or its SVN Extension has a bug.
I have installed the latest SQL Developer 2.1.0.63.73 and the extension "*Versioning Support for Subversion* 11.1.1.2.36.55.30".
Both Tools the SVN Extension for SQL Developer and the TortoiseSVN save Authentification Data automatically in the same Folder "C:\Documents and Settings\UserXYZ\Application Data\Subversion\auth\svn.simple\" into some Files.
When I use TortoiseSVN, the password can be stored in those mentioned Files. That's very useful, so I don't have to enter my password every time I perform a SVN command. But when I later use SQL Developer and update/commit some file, the password will be removed from the above mentioned Files, even though my Password is stored in the SQL Developer's Subversion Navigator inside the Connection Setup of my Repository.
I would be happy to get some feedback from your point of view. Are there other people who have the same problem?
I turned already to google, but I haven't found a hint that it could be something you can configure in some properties.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

In the meantime I found the solution:
just add those two lines to the *%appdata%\Subversion\config* File
    store-auth-creds = no
    store-passwords = yes
It looks like the SVN Extension in SQL Developer has different Default Values for the properties than TortoiseSVN has.

imho i don´t think FB4.5 had SVN installed - would be nice!
I just updated my FB4.6 prerelease to the release version and installed subclipse 1.6 via "install new software"....seems to work!
Did you uninstall FB before updating?
