I looked into including the 2 .a files

I put the 2 files into my ane build folder and into my adt command line, but when I try to build the app I get an duplicate symbol error... so i took them out.

I keep getting a message that "An important update is available for Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.400.43". I click on "Update Now" and I get taken to the Mozilla Plug-in check page. A brief message shows at the top of the page that tells me some plugins are out of date and then disappears. The plugin checks show all plugins are up to date. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Java more than once and run a registry cleaner, but once I install Java the same messages appear. I am on a Windows XP machine and I am running an older version of Firefox (9.0) because addons for some of my other software don't work with newer versions of firefox. Can I get rid of the message or do I have to live with it because I use an older version of firefox?
Please update to Firefox 23.0.1 IMMEDIATELY. Old versions are extremely vulnerable to security issues, and all your add-ons should work if they work in Firefox 10 anyway.

I installed the latest version first. When I was done, Firefox was working great. I got off and went back on to my computer later. Firefox was not there, but the shortcut was. If you want to boot from your SSD, then you should put the SSD where your HDD currently is, and put the HDD into the optical bay. (That setup will also get you the best performance.) At the moment, you’re still booting from your HDD. Note that you will need to format your SSD in Disk Utility [with the “Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)” format] so that you can install OS X onto it.
Since you have an Early 2011 model, it might or might not have originally come with grey installation DVDs. You will be able to find out whether it did or not by trying to use OS X Internet Recovery to install OS X onto your SSD. If it does not work, or if the installed OS turns out to be Snow Leopard, then it will have originally come with the DVDs, and you should purchase a replacement pair of DVDs from Apple or iFixit; those discs will have your MacBook Pro’s Apple Hardware Test and its iLife apps. If the installed OS turns out to be Lion, then it will not originally have come with the grey installation DVDs, and your Apple Hardware Test will be installed along with Lion, and your iLife apps will be downloadable from the Mac App Store. -

Since upgrading to Mavericks, my Canon MP980 printer no longer works. I've tried deleting the printer and adding it again. I've downloaded the driver software from Canon. My Mac dropbox tells me "the selected printer software is available from Apple", but when I click to download it, the process ends with my mac saying the software is not currently available from the software update server.
Open Finder and click on Go > Go to Folder. Then type
/Library/Printers/Canon
and press Enter. This will show the BJPrinter and iJScanner folders. You could try moving or trashing this folder and then installing the driver that you downloaded from Canon again. -
When I am trying to upgrade my iphone to IOS7.0.2 by connecting my my iphone and macbook, it shows "There are purchased items on the iPhone “asingh’s iPhone” that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone. Are you sure you want to continue? ". I hit the same issue and lost a lot of apps from my iphone. Can someone help on how to resolve this issue? I can automatically upgrade my software on the iphone but how shall I resolve any future updates of "Apps"?
I appreciate the answer, but what you describe is not entirely accurate. First, to even see view, you have to enable the menu by clicking on the icon in the upper left. View allows you to show the sidebar.
Second, you will NOT see your devise listed in sidebar or anywhere else. Instead, you have to click on "devise" from the sidebar menu, wait a minute, and then it will finally show up under "devise." Or maybe it just takes a minute to show up whatever you do.
Third, right clicking on your devise will take you to a menu with "transfer my files" on it, but then iTunes will refuse to make the transfer. Instead, it will tell you that <your apps> on your <devise> could not be transferred to iTunes "because you are not authorized for it on your computer." Apple unhelpfully suggests going to store> authorize this computer. There is a "store" menu item on the sidebar, but it has no "authorize this computer" sub-menu. Instead, go to the horizontal menu at the upper left, and THERE you will find "store" and the "authorize this computer" sub-menu. Now you can transfer your files, to who knows where.
My iPhone 5 is my first Apple devise. So far my experience has been, to do A, which must be done right now, you must first do B. To do B you must first do C, which is unexplained save in answers in user forums. To do C you must first do D, which, after several hours of research and puzzle solving, can eventually be done. -

No, not without upgrading to a higher version of the Mac OS. However, the easiest thing to do is get another browser for use with sites that don't like older versions of Saari. I always have a secondary browser on any computer, Mac or PC. For our Macs, I install FireFiox alongside Safari when setting up a new computer.
As FireFox is updated sometimes weekly, YouTube should not have a problem with it.

I am a medical transcriptionist. I was using Firefox 4 and without knowing that Firefox 5 does not support Google Toolbar I updated it. Searching in google is a integral part of my job and without the Toolbar I feel handicapped using Firefox 5. You can say that there is no need for toolbar in firefox 5 as the address bar doubles as toolbar, but I find it very difficult using it. I uninstalled Firefox 5 and try installing Firefox 4 version, but I am not able to. So, I have uninstalled Firefox 4 completely. So, pls advise if there is a way for me to get back my Firefox 4. Hi You may have a hardware fault take ipad to Apple Store. Ring then first to make an Appointment take box and you purchase paperwork they may give you A replacement. Before you do that Try a Reboot hold down power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you may need to hold down for up to 30 Seconds But you may need to do this more than once. If it doesn't work take back to Apple Store. Cheers Brian

I received a notice that there is an update for my Lightroom 5. I have the non-creative cloud version. Is the update available for non-cloud users? It says to download click the link and it takes me to Cloud free trial screen.
It is the same installer. You can run it as 30-days trial (CC version) and decide later for CC or stand-alone. To license as stand-alone, follow this guide.
If you already have the LR6 license key, you can enter it during setup and do not need to follow the guide. -

I have an old iphone 2g/3g. However I dont use it as a phone but as an ipod. Since its the oldest version, I tried updating it to the newest version that all the iphones seem to have. I tried to restore it but now it's stuck on the connect to itunes menu. An error appeared with the error #: 1015. What should I do. Getting a new one is not the answer Im looking for.
