SWFObject not playing MP3 in IE10 and lower with new Adobe Flash upgrade

I am using SWFObject 1.5 with flash player 14.0.0.145 and SW flv player 3.x.x. My code used to work fine in all version of IE, FF and chrome earlier(Until i think we had flash 14.0.0.125), but after the recent upgrade its not working in IE 10 and lower while works fine in IE 11, FF and chrome.
Any suggestion? Also any link to newer version of SW flv player would be helpful too.

I'm not sure if your having the same problem I did, but my
flash file was doing the same thing. It would play in one but not
the other. It ended up being the fact that I had changed the file
name but hadn't changed the name in the html.
I can't remember which is which, but I think the embed tag is
for IE and the object tag is for everything else. The file source
must be exactly the same within both tags for fire fox and IE to
play the file.

Not sure that I understand your workflow there. For editing, the 48KHz 16-bit is the "standard." The 32KHz is not.
Now, what is the Sample-Rate of your original material?
What is the CODEC used in that muxed (multiplexed, i.e. combined Audio & Video) file?
Did you allow Conforming complete 100%? This ARTICLE will give you some background.
Do you see the Waveform Display for that Clip? Alt+click on the Audio portion of the Clip, and then Dbl-click on it to get it into the Source Monitor. Do you see the Waveform Display there?
Have you added any Keyframes, or Effects to that Audio? Toggle the Keyframe Display in the Track Header, to see if there are any Clip, or Track Keyframes there.
Have you accidentally Muted that Track? Look at the Visibility (eyeball) icon in the Track Header. Then, look in Audio Mixer to see if that Track is Muted.

I am using FF 13.01 and now cannot access any YouTube videos. I tried deleting cookies, deleting history and installed the new Adobe Flash player.

When opening any video on YouTube, I receive the following notice: "An error occurred. Please try again."
I installed FF 13.01 by means of the automatic updater.
Before the update, I was able to access YouTube videos. After the update, I have not.
Before the update, Chrome was the default browser. I changed this to FF. Since then, I have not been able to view videos through FF.
Chrome accesses YouTube videos.
The video showing add-ons within Firefox does work.
Two add-ons are listed: RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin and Skype Click to Call. Both are disabled.

There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in these articles helps:

HT201272 What is it with songs that are not from the itunes store, but are coming from cd's and other download sources that all of a sudden do not play on my iphone and have a red stop button in a red round circle around them, behind the title?

Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

Hi! Why does Firefox for Android will not play mp3? For example the tracks on this page do not play http://audiobook-online.com/?page_id=33 . Firefox for windows plays mp3.

I've just tested and the mp3s on that page work fine for me. When I first visited the site I see a prompt at the top of the screen: "This page contains plugin content. Would you like to enable plugins".
I clicked Activate and the audio played fine.
If the pop-up doesn't appear then you can try enabling plugins across all pages. See here:

But be aware that there are security implications with this option. It is safer to keep flash as tap-to-play. There is more information on this in the article.

Some videos will not play in FF 4 (and earlier versions) particularly on facebook. I have the latest version of shockwave flash. Here's what I've tried and has not worked: disabled ad blocker, turned hardware acceleration on/off, installed WMP plug-in, installed VLC multimedia plug-in, installed quick time plug-in, changed plugin-container.exe compatibility to win98/ME. Samething in Win 7. Thanks.

How to pass querystring value to swfobject and set it in adobe flash

I must tell that I have not much knowledge about flash.
I have a flash slideshow on my homepage which displays news by a xml file under http://bit.ly/q48UmE and I am using slideshowpro for it. That slideshow xml file path must be set within adobe flash program.
Xml file path is under http://bit.ly/pBeaUX if you would add ?lang=en, it would output english version.
What I need in here, when a language is changed from language selector at header, News must be set as selected language respectively. My question is how to get querystring value and pass it to adobe flash so it is changed and set according to the selected language.

Since there are only two languages to choose from, you could simply use a Javascript document.write() function to write out the alternate object and embed section of that page when/if the user selects English. In any case, you don't want to use Flash vars(). There is no way to get the Flash movie to read a new value after the movie has loaded. You could store the language value change in a Javascript variable and then read that variables value from the Flash movie.
If you are changing out the entire movie when the language is changed, I would use the first method: Javascript document.write(). If you have both the Turkish and English language content in the same movie then I would use the second method and have Flash read a variable from the language selector. You can use the ExternalInterface class for that.

Slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Controls panel. One button controls orientation lock to prevent the screen rotating as you rotate the phone. You can toggle that control on and off as you need. Slide the panel back down when you are finished with it.

If you are only updating apps, that's normal Apps and other purchased media are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. You also don't back up apps or music to iCloud, the only thing backed up to iCloud is your app data, which is part of your iCloud backup by default.
Is your phone signed into the old ID in Settings>iCloud?

Then delete all this sentence and copy this one

I usually copy the favicon.ico in the folder images so the sentence will be like this

About in tears from new adobe flash player 10.3 not working

After installing the new Adobe Flash 10.2.153.1 on my Windows7 64 bit computer, it can not be found when using my IE8 (does not show 32 or 64 bit only 256-bit).
I have uninstalled using your reference on "please read: when asking Flash Player questions" and then reinstalled. It is on the programs list as installed but when I go to a site that needs me to use Adobe Flash it says I need it install it. Whn I go to the adobe web site to verify that I have installed Adobe Flash it only has a box with a small red x in the corner.
I have updated my devices drivers. I do not completely understand what a "kill-bit" is; however, I have gone into my registry and there is no registry keys that have {d27....etc}. There are many other numbers and most have a compatibilty flag of 0x00000400. So I must not have a "kill-bit" for Flash Player set. Not sure what that means.
Can you help me? And have I given you enough info?

* No error messages - was told it was installed successfully

Quicktime and new Adobe flash don't work!!

Ever since I have ? downloaded new iTunes/Quicktime updates I cannot get Quicktime to play any movie trailers. Also, when I go to any sites which need a Flash player, I am unable play any flash related videos. To add further frustration, I am unable to download the new Adobe flash player. It "downloads," but goes nowhere on my computer and is nonfunctional!! I feel like because I have an "old" Mac with Panther (which otherwise works great!), I am slowly being phased out of all the new downloads as they often either don't work or screw up my system. Help!!

I personally Repair Permissions about once a week or so (though the need to is highly debated here in Discussions).
