Sync cable doesn't work, can I change a new one in any local apple store for free? I have brought my Ipad 4 for only 6 months

As mentioned above

First of all: Your iPhone "present" was most likely hacked/jailbroken. The update you did bricked it and it is now useless. Apple will not repair this.
Second: The warranty is usually only valid for the country it was purchased in. Check before you buy.
Third: You can set English as default language  on the iPhone . iPhone supports a myriad of diffrent languages. If you buy it Poland it doesnt matter.

  • I have a USB cable is broken. Can I replace the new one

I have a USB cable is broken can I replace the new one

    Hi V_26th_heaven,
Your local Apple Store will happily replace the USB cable as long as the device you got it with (eg. an iPod) was bought less than a year ago. This is because the device and all included accessories have a one-year-warranty.
If you live far from an Apple Store, you can get Apple to send you a new cable via post and you would send off your faulty cable in a box that comes with the replacement cable. To do this, click on Support at the top of the page and select 'iPod Accessories' and choose your preferred method of service.
    Good Luck,

  • HT1349 my iphone4s power butter do not work any more . can i change a new one in att store

my iphone4s power butter do not work any more . can i change a new one in att store
    it gives me troubles

    outianleiz,
Mine quits working every now and then.
Most of the time I can fix it by doing a power button, home button reset. When that doesn't work plugging it into my computer does.
    What have you tried?
Also I believe it is a software problem not hardware. So I would suggest not replacing it until you can get your hands on the "iOS 5.1" update. That is what I am waiting on before I calling Apple and/or ATT and raising  the roof with someone over this issue.

  • If my charging cable doesn't work do i get a new for free

if my charging cable doesn't work do i get a new for free

I had a lightning cable, that came with my iPhone 5s, that frayed and broke at the connector.  I took the cable and phone into the Apple Store and they exchanged the cable for a new one with not a question asked.  Good experience.
I think part of it is that the design of the Apple cables is quite flimsy especially at the connector and I think they see a lot of them fail.

Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com. Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.

  • Can i change the new one?

I bought my macbook pro with retina just a month ago,can i change a new one in the app store?

No, except by using Apple's recycling program; you'll probably be better off selling it to someone other than Apple.
Apple doesn't do trade-ins for products which are more than 14 days old.

  • If iPhone 5 peel off when I unboxing in the retail store in canada, what can I do? Can I change a new one?

If iPhone 5 peel off when I unboxing in the retail store in canada, what can I do? Can I change a new one?

The anodizing delamination issue is over blown .
If you are unboxing and activating in a Roberts/Fido/Virgin/Bell or Telus store and you see existing damage certainly YOU reject it.
The areas that appear to be subject to minor delamination are the milled edges.
This milled edge may be vulnerable to delamination since anodizing is dye process set within the top few micron of the base metal with an electric charge.
If you want an unlocked iPhone5 get it from Apple Retail at full retail price, as the carrier subsidized phones ”may” be Carrier/sim card locked for revenue protection reasons.
You need to check this locally as i can not vouch for Canadian cell phone practise.

  • Email send/receive suddenly doesn't work ; can't change email settings as BB phone won't accept valid username and password -- what to do?

email send/receive suddenly doesn't work (as of September 24th); I can't change email settings (one suggestion from tech) as BB phone won't accept *valid* username and password -- what to do?
I understand from a support note that if I keep trying my password/username combination, my BB will eventually delete all data!
I can't understand this. I'm completely lost now. I can't remember what I've done or tried to do. A plethora of usernames and passwords is swimming in my head.
Thanks for any hints. I have always loved this BB Bold and have never had any trouble with it.

But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work?  I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe.  This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot.  But I know both were exactly the same.  But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

  • Can i change my ipod4 to ipod 5 in apple store? cost?

    help! can i upgrade it?

The cost is 90% of the price of a new one. If your old iPod is in working order, sell it to someone other than Apple and put the money towards a fifth generation iPod touch.

  • Can i change  a new one ipad if my ipad have crush a bit?, can i change  a new one ipad if my ipad have crush a bit?

i hope to change to a new one ipad

And what is it that you are asking? If you are asking whether Apple will exchange your iPad, yes, they will as long as the iPad isn't broken in pieces, but if you damaged the iPad, you will have to pay Apple's out-of-warranty exchange price. See the Service Pricing section here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/service/faq/
If that's not what you meant, please post back and clarify what it is that you are asking.
    Regards.

  • My Ipad of only 21 months has stopped working. It's dead as confirmed by my local apple store. It has not been dropped nor abused. Apple don't seem interested and have yet to respond to a letter. Any suggestions welcome!

For Christmas 2012 my son bought me my first iPad when up in Scotland on business. So from 25th December until last Tuesday evening, September 3rd, this had worked fine and was my pride and joy. It's an amazing piece of technology.
Imagine my horror and annoyance when I went to use it on the Tuesday evening only to find that it would not start up. All the usual buttons were pressed and I plugged it in to a power source then into iTunes and saw no no change.
On Wednesday morning I went into the Apple shop in Harrogate, where JCL (salesman) tried all of the same things as I had and declared that he had never seen this happen to an iPad! My only course of action was to send it back to Apple who would tell me it's dead and advise me to buy a new one. [This, as it is welded together and they have no means of repairing them!!] So what can I do? I had to buy a new one, which cost me £399.
Is this good value for money under the Sale of Goods Act? An iPad should surely last more than 20 months? The device has never been dropped and is in very good condition other than it does not work.
I would appreciate any views on this.
I have written to Apple and they have yet to respond (15 days ago)

There is No overriding EU law on this however there is a directive 1999/44/EC and sets out a general framework on harmonizing complaints and settlement of defects and resulting breaches in contract.
Under UK law these are the relevant regulations
    Sale of Goods Act 1979
Supply of Goods (Implied Terms) Act 1973
Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982
The Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002
These are considered to be in compliance with the directive in most respects and in some respects exceed the minimum directive definitions.
The Directive itself adds very little and in some ways actually reduces the consumer (buyers) rights compared to UK laws and regulations.
The directive sets a maximum period of just two years for which the seller may be held responsible for repairing/replacing pre-existing faults and a period of just two months from identifying the fault and reporting it to the seller.
As stated above UK law allows a period of 5 years in Scotland and 6 years in the UK and doesn’t have a defined period of identification or reporting of that pre-existing fault
The UK law also incorporates a minimum period of 6 months of unlimited warranty (Extended to 12 month by most sellers including Apple).
There is NO provision for unlimited warranty within the EU directive, and all faults are assumed to be pre-existing.
Pre-existing is very important in all these claims as in UK law it fixes the timeline of the fault using the three definitions in the previous post as being present at the start of the contract (Time of purchase)
Hence the need for an expert report !

  • My iphone has wiped everything from my last back up which was in august! what can i do before i go to my local Apple store this weekend?

    help!!!
this is my first post so ill be breif,
on tuesday i deleted a load of pictures that i had saved off FaceBook, i panicked and with the advise of many websites restored to last back up which was in august!!!! the pictures ive saved off face book im not so bothered about its what got deleted in the restoring process that im upset about; holiday photos family stuff christmas etc etc . im going into my local store tomorrow i just want to know what i can do in the mean time... i cant even access my icloud to get the stuff back because its restored my old apple id and password and i cant remember it for the life of me please help!!!
    thanks

If you do not have a newer backup than the one you just restored from, then nothing is going to be there. You can contact Apple support to try and recover your Apple ID password. If you have backed up the phone since you restored from the old backup, then there will not be another backup for you to get information from. The iPhone replaces the old backups with the current backup.
