Sync interface as container element, And Sync Rec in BPM

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to implement a scenario with sync RFC to Sync SOAP using BPM.
RFC <- -> BPM <- -> SOAP
How do I implemnt this scenario, cause if I am not mistaken the first receive step in the BPM can only be asynchronous.
Also when I declare container variables in BPM, it lets me choose only from async interface and does not display synch interfaces. So iam only able to create container variables of abstract asynch type.
Please advice.

Guys here's why I want to use BPM:
I am implementing a scenario wherein:
1) Data is passed from R/3 to xi and then to a web server.
2) From webserver the updated data is sent back to xi.
3) A particular field is boolean checked in XI, if true the data is sent back to webserver.
4) and then again the updated data is sent back to r/3 via xi.
R/3 ---> XI ---> Web Server ---> XI -(If condition true)-> Web Server ---> XI ---> R/3
R/3 ---> XI ---> Web Server ---> XI -(If condition false)-> XI ---> R/3
Start > Receive (Async) > Send (Sync) > Send (Sync. This step only if boolean true) > Send (Async) > Stop.
Also i am using BPM because I am implementing double mapping, i.e Message1>Message2>Message3.

Hi,
Is there a way to select your keepers in the Revel app on your iPad so your selection somehow gets synced into PSE?
You get the idea. I would like to select my keepers on my iPad and somehow make my selections visible in PSE.
As fare as I know, the "Favorite" flag in Revel does not get synchronized with PSE.

q1 -Is the target message same in all the cases with different values?
q2 - Also, after this message(with different content based on the where it is created from) is created is sent out or is it used some where further again in the BPM?
i am also assuming you are above SP16..
If the answer is yes to q1 and no to q2, you can achieve this quite easily.....from each of the 3 places(success,failure and deadline)....have a send step each with the source message...in the send step you should have the "ConversationID" field filled with values which distinguishes the place from it is is send....now in the interface determination attach one mapping and in that mapping using a UDF you can access the Conversation ID from mapping variables....and you can manipulate your output message..
I have made lots of assumptions without knowing your scenario..check it out if it helps...

End of my tether trying to sync 4S after using remove and sync - help?

Ok so this could have been caused by 2 things - firstly my dad managed to create a new library when he was trying to save a new folder for his photos to go into therefore I had to track down the new library delete it and then reimport our old library from our external hard drive. Since then my 4S keeps saying "erase and sync" which I have done numerous times and still can't sync to this 'new' (even though it's the one we were using three days ago) what can I do other than throw my phone at the wall lol.
Strangely enough i did the erase ot remove whatever it an sync on my ipad 2 and it worked however im a bit scared to use it on my mums new 5 or ipad mini so I am waiting for some sort of help before trying it.
Open to anything so even if it means restore to factory settings that's fine.
But of course secondly it could be a iOS 7 issue which hasn't shown up till now.
Oh and ps even though my iPad is synced it's suddenly decided to stick on the syncing screen

CalenGoo and BusyCal get good reviews, and claim to keep the colours the same. I haven't used them myself; I don't need that level of detail. iCal on your Mac will sync with Google, but only in one colour, so far as I can tell.
If you can wait a few months, it will be interesting to see what iCloud is like. Hopefully it should be seamless and invisible, like you'd expect.

XML "container" elements and JAXB

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to tell the JAXB compiler not to create classes for certain elements which are just containers for a collection of some other elements. For example, suppose the resultant XML (snippet) is like this:
<library>
<books>
<book .... />
<book .... />
<book .... />
</books>
</library>What I want to accomplish is tell JAXB compiler to create Library class like this:
public class Library {
private Collection books;
}Currently, what would happen is that JAXB would create Library class like this:
public class Library {
private Books books;
}and then create another class Books like this:
public class Book {
private ArrayList book;
public ArrayList getBook();
}Obviously, when working with Java code, what I would want is to skip all this nonsense in the middle and just have it the way I showed it in the first example.
Of course, one solution is not to declare the "books" container element in the schema. However, what I want to know if this is the only solution or there is a way to customize JAXB to get it to produce a class shown in the very first example.

I recently gave my old iPod touch someone after restoring it Etc. the iPod was completely cleared off. However it's only taking some of their music. How do I get it to sync with their iTunes account and sync all their music ?

Contnue to use the commpn ID/account for Settings>iTunes and App stores.

I am trying to sync my new iPod classic and "Sync" is grayed out

I have tried everything. Updated iTunes, verified my User id and password, nothing is recognizing the "new" used iPod. When I plug it in to the PC, iTunes is not automatically turning on. When I open iTunes, I go to Devcies, but "Sync" is grayed out. Also, the iPod has started to "Connect" to PC and then automatically starts the "OK to Disconnect" without me doing anything at all. I am floored at this point and don't know what else to try. My old iPod was the original Classic from like 2005ish and it's hard drive just went wonky. I never had an issue with it and iTunes at all.

I know having a device you can't use can be frustrating. I have located an article that will walk you through a series of troubleshooting steps:

Warning: Because restoring erases all the songs and files on iPod, back up any files you've saved on the iPod disk. All of your songs, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, and games can be loaded back to your iPod provided that you have them stored in your iTunes Library. If you use the Nike + iPod Sport Kit, see this document for more information.
After you perform the restore, you should attempt to sync your content again. Keep in mind that iPods are meant to sync with one computer and one iTunes library.

Weird .Mac sync error -- cannot reset calenders and sync broken

When I try to sync my desktop I get the following error:
[ISyncConcreteSession pushChange:]: you can't modify a record that doesn't exist: <ISyncChange 0x3c5d5f0>{ modify record id '8C584579-8929-46A8-AE28-345C91E131DD'
set title = Unfiled
set com.apple.ical.type = local }
I have no idea what this means.
Moreover, I cannot sync the calendars on my machine with .Mac. I have tried resetting them with .Mac but this does not work, either. It generates the above error message.
Any ideas here? Since resetting does not work, is there any way that I can throw out all of the calendar information on my desktop and start fresh from .Mac? I know that .Mac is up to date since I since my laptop and Treo to it.

You do not have to toss everything and start again: the Unfiled calendar resides on your machine to support the synchronization of a Palm device.
If you don't synchronize a Palm device, simply highlight that calendar and press the delete key. If you do, consider moving all of the Palm-created events and tasks in it to one or the other of the several other calendars in iCal.
Or, if you are using Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later and synchronize with a Palm device, ditch iSync and the iSync Palm Conduit and use the Missing Sync for Palm OS instead:

I think I may have realised why the folders have gone. When restoring from my backup hard drive, instead of going through migration assistant, I just dragged the apps, songs, etc... from the backup hard drive onto the iTunes icon in my dock.

I created a sync account in June 2012 and synced it periodically. In early January 2014, I was having some pc issues so I backed up all my data on my pc and dropped it off to Best Buy/Geek Squads. My pc has been repaired and returned back to me today. However, it has been reset to factory settings, which meant I had to reinstall Firefox. Of course I no longer had my original recovery key so I had to choose the "no longer have my device" option so that I could recover the recovery key code. So now I am trying to pull in my synced data from the synced Firefox account and I see nothing. I know I am not doing something right. I am not trying to sync on a second device- it is technically the same device. I am just trying to pull in what was previously synced. I feel like a lot of the other forums are for pairing. It's almost as if once I logged into my Firefox account today and recovered the code- like there is a new account. I need to access my bookmarks- they are very important. Thanks!

Does your backup contain your entire old Firefox profile folder? This is a hidden folder under
C:\Users\''username''\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
To ensure that you can view the full contents of your backup, you may need to turn on viewing of hidden files. This article has the steps: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files].
If you find the folder, one option would be to set it up as a second profile on your new installation of Firefox to access the old information. That's probably easier than fishing around among the files if it works.

Every time i plug my iphone into computer it wants to erase and sync

iphone was originally linked to my laptop... however i never transferred anything from the laptop to the iphone. i now want to use my desktop to transfer music. so i plug in the iphone, click the checkmark next to sync music. it says that the iphone is currently synced to another library and do i want to erase and sync? so i erase and sync and pick the music i want and transfer it to my phone. I unplug the phone, plug it back in again. in itunes it shows the music sync as unchecked... so i click the box to sync music and it says its associated with another library and it needs to erase and sync.
i have done this 4 times now. and everytime it wants me to erase and sync even though i just did it on the same computer with the same i phone 3 times in a row. i don't get it, why won't itunes/iphone sync with the new itunes library on my desktop??? what can i do to fix this issue?
i'm using newest itunes 11 on windows 8.1 computer. the computer has not been authorized... does this make a difference as to why the sync won't stick?
BTW i also hate how apple makes you sync your phone, android is so much easier to just plug the phone in and transfer your music/videos manually. never have a problem doing that. Only when apple tries to make it so easy it gets way more complicated than it needs to be!

I recently updated my iphone software to 6.0.1 and my ringtones did not get added back to the phone. I have connected my phone to my pc to sync but when I click to sync, it does nothing. How can I get my ringtones back on my phone?

Can I opt to only sync iPhone 4 via iTunes and NOT iCloud?

I only use the iCal, Contacts, and Mail parts of MobileMe. I sync all three via iTunes. I don't need to worry about any web storage or gallery or other stuff.
Because my MacBookPro is early 2008, I'm leery of upgrading to Lion, even though it's needed for iCloud. I don't want to deal with the decreased battery life or any downgrade in speed. My iPhone 4 is running the most current iOS.
If I don't upgrade to Lion, I accept that I can't migrate to iCloud via my MacBookPro.
Here are my questions:
1. If I don't physically initiate a migration to iCloud, will my .me/.mac mail accounts disappear or will I still be able to get my mail as usual using the mail apps on my MacBookPro and iPhone 4? Will I have to change any of the imap server settings after June 30?
2. For my contacts and iCal, will I be able to continue to sync to my iPhone 4 via iTunes, so that I can pretend iCloud doesn't exist? I realize any calendar/contacts changes wouldn't be immediately seen across all devices, but I don't need them to be--changes can wait until my next iTunes sync.
3. If I don't make any changes, will I be able to set up my iCloud stuff at a later date, after MobileMe is history?
4. If I simply MUST initiate a move to iCloud to "reserve my space" or whatever, is it something I could do via my iPhone or even on a newer computer at the Apple Store?
Basically, can I keep doing what I'm doing, postpone a Lion upgrade for now and ignore the move to iCloud, or will I break the internet?

Yes - deselect them before you sync.
I'm assuming that you auto sync so if you do sync that way - go ahead and sync your iPad again. But don't disconnect the iPad yet. After the sync completes - click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes - then click on the apps tab on the right. Uncheck all of the iPhones apps under the list of apps to deselect them. When you have all of those apps deselected - click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes. This will remove them from the iPad and iTunes will remember this the next time that you sync.

How do I sync my ical, mobile me and my Macs?

Hi I have been looking on the forums and seem to have similar problems to others but not exactly the same, or the question hasn't been answered so apologies if it looks similar to other posts! Basically I have 2 intel macpros with 10.5.6 and an intel macbook with 10.4. Basically I have mobile me running and want to sync my ical so each Ical on each computer has the same information as is on mobile me. Unfortunately I use the syncing option in system preferences to sync ical but none of them seem to match (even the two intels with exactly the same os and specs)! I don't get it thankfully I am in my trial period for mobile me as I am spending so much time on what should be simple? Basically I just want it that on whatever computer I'm on I can put in cal events and put in attendees etc and then press sync in either system prefs and sync that with the calendar (including calendar groups) in mobile me and the other computers. My Computers are set to sync once an hour with mobile me but I have calendar entriesand new calendar groups that haven't appeared on some macs that are days old. Why does it work for some and not for others? Any help would be much appreciated!

Choose one of the Calenders on ONE of the computers OR the MobileMe as the Master / correct account.
The REINITAILISE the data of MobileMe within preferences on the computer defining the datatransfer correctly (in the advanced box of preferences). The synchronise iphone contacts and calender directly on-line to MobileMe.
