Sync - remove and replace

Since updating to iPod Touch 3.1.1 and iTunes 9 I can't sync without iTunes saying I need to wipe and start over. It's as if it thinks I'm not the owner of the iPod and each section (Music, Photos, Apps, Movies, TV Shows) has syncing disabled. When I enable it I am asked if I'm sure I want to sync, all the iPod stuff will be removed and replaced. This is not a big deal except it will also do it when I enable App syncing and I will lose my app data.

To be more specific, it is saying my iPod is synced with another library.

  • Poor print quality until I remove and replace each toner cartridge

I have an interesting situation that seems to have manifested itself recently. This is pretty reproducible.
The printer is in sleep mode
A color job is sent to the printer and the resulting print has no color and faded black and white
If I open the front panel and remove each cartridge, not even fully remove, and replace with itself, the color and quality is perfect.
Calibrating, diagnostics, etc. have not helped. Printing of the diagnostic page, or color bands, etc. yield the same results.
The paper comes out warm as it always has. The toner doors all open.
So, any ideas? Next steps to try?
    Thanks,
    Paul

  • HP PSC 1600 All-In-One error message remove and replace color cartridge

I get the remove and replace color cartridge and printer or scanner won't work. I have replaced the cartridge with new ones twice and it still happens. Just installed a new HP color cartridge and no luck. I've tried everything I can think of.
Please, does anyone have any other suggestions????
    Thank you,

    Hi MJKEL,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with errors on the printer pertaining the ink cartridges.
I do have a few steps that we can try in the attempt to troubleshoot this issue.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I have also located a documet that deals with A 'Remove and Check [color / black / photo] Cartridge' Error Message Displays on the Printer Control...
Please feel free to write me back if you have any other questions or concerns.
    Cheers,

  • Satellite A30-921: How to remove and replace the memory?

hi, can anyone help me how to remove and replace the memory of sat A30-921. and also, please give a detailed instruction.
    thank you in advance.

    Hi
There is no much to explain. At the bottom side in the middle there is placed memory cover (fixed with two screws). Remove the cover and you will see 2 slots there. I dont know how much memory has you there but as Stefan said you can use max 2 GB of RAM (2x PC2700 1024MB - PA3313U-1M1G). How to remove memory modules you can see on http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/189/5

I want to change my apple id primary e-mail from a .msn address to a .gmail address. The problem is that currently my .gmail address is my recovery address; I cannot figure out how to remove and replace my gmail recovery address with a new e-mail address.  I want to do this because I no longer use my .msn address.

You should be able to change your rescue address by going to My Apple ID, signing in to manage your ID, then selecting the the Password and Security section, and answering the two security questions.  If you have trouble with this, contact the Apple account security team for your country to verify your identity and ask for assistance: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security.  If your country isn't listed, contact iTunes store support by filling out this form: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • Wish to desolde/resolder, remove and replace the two damaged usb2 ports

I've a Sat A30 Perfect in every way other than the 2 USB2 ports in the rear which are damaged (black Plastic seperaters between the connectors have popped out) not quite sure why this hapened as I was simply unplugging the connected usb plugs on both occasions.
The connectors were not particularly tight. so the fault is I have no insulation between the copper connectors which are still housed in slots and causes short circuiting, when I plug in any usb device.
I've purchased a relpacement (damaged) motherboard and usb2 connections are A-OK! Have good technician experience in carring out soldering/desoldering and have all neccessary tools . Problem is I haven't a clue which connections on underside of board are required to be desoldered from my damaged usb2 board in order to remove/swop and to carry out the neccessary replacement.
I'm sure I'll be advised to contact a registered Tosh dealer. I have tried this and they say they will only relace the entire motherboard and cost is horrendous. I'd rather carry out the repair myself as it's not rocket science.
Any techies out there who could advise with picture of the relevent pins to desolder in order to remove and repair fault would be greatly appreciated.
    email : [email protected]
if you can help in any way or point me in right direction to get on with repair.
Hope someone can help. Many thanks,
    Stewart

    Hello
Please dont be mad on me but in my opinion it is not a very good idea to open the notebook alone if you have not much experience with it. The notebooks are designed on specific way and hardware exchange is not so easy like the hardware exchange at desktops.
Believe me that a little mistake in assembling/disassembling procedure can case a damage of hardware parts or even notebook casing. I know that there is no much help by service partner because they want to do this. It costs money but you must understand that if they give this kind of advice or information they can close the store very soon.
You can try to do this alone but on your own risk and be careful.

  • Satellite A30 keyboard suddenly stopped working - how to remove and replace?

Hi all, n00b to laptops and first post. Ok, I usually build and repair desktops, so much easier to gain aceess!!
My daughter switched on her A30 laptop last night and only 2 keys worked. Tried rebooting and getting into BIOS but couldnt. Tried getting it to boot into safe mode, only the up and down arrow working so could not select safe mode...doh. Am guessing this must be a harware problem.
Rebooted into Xp an opened up notepad....this time about 5 keys working. Reboot, 3 key etc etc.
How do I get to the ribbon cable to make sure it is seated properly. Is it common for a keyboard to fail in this way and is it easy to get a replacement?
At the mo, have all the small screws I can find out, removed battery, DVD rom and hard drive. Seems to be held towards the middle and rear. Dont want to force it and break something else!
    TIA.

OK, so I had to laugh....flip the little cover on the top of the laptop and there are the 2 screws that hold the keyboard in place....lol
The ribbon cable was just about in its connector. Pushed it in and engaged the two locking tabs on the plastic retainer...job done!
Put it back together, fired up and Bingo! we have a keyboard again!
Oh well, may help someone else I guess.
Now she has no excuse for not doing her homework!

HP OFFICEJET 8500 A 910 PRINTHEAD ALIGNMENT FAILS. HOW DO I REMOVE & REPLACE THE PRINTHEAD. I HAVE READ THE USERS GUIDE WHICH SAYS LIFT UP THE TOP AND THEN LIFT OUT THE PRINTHEAD. UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE NOT TOLD HOW TO DO THIS. I OBVIOUSLY DO NOT MEAN THE TOP COVER OVER THE GLASS... THE PICTURE SHOWS THE TOP COVER RAISED AND ACCESS TO THE PRINTHEAD. THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE PRINTHEAD WITH THE TOP COVER RAISED!!!

  • WVC200 remove and replace

Several Linksys parts (ex: WMP54GS and WUSB54GSC) must be uninstalled before they can be installed again on the same machine.  The program is usually named Setup.exe and is located in the Utility subdirectory on the installation CD.  (This is a different setup.exe program from the main one also on the CD.)
What I'm trying to do is reinstall a WVC200 camera I stopped using over a year ago.  All my old settings were lost after doing a reformat and reinstallation of Windows XP-Pro.  Everything "seems" to be going along well with the WVC200 installation CD but it suddenly chokes reporting that it can't find my camera!
Is there a utility somewhere for removing my original WVC200 installation (as in the first paragraph)?
I'm able to access the WVC200 user screen and do a camera setup by accessing the camera's fixed IP address using Internet Explorer.  I can only do this when the camera is hard-wired and not in wireless mode.  After going through the setup option and entering my wireless information, I can't even connect any longer using Internet Explorer with the cable disconnected.
I'm pretty sure I went through this before and someone (Linksys?) provided a utility to remove my original WVC200 so that the installation CD worked once more and recognized the camera existing.
I'd sure appreciate assistance from anyone out there!
    Dave

Which firmware you are using on the Camera...?
Try to reflash/upgrade the firmware of the Camera, reset the Camera and re-configure it from scratch.Do not use CD to install the Camera...Open the setup page and configure it manually.

  • Audio has developed a static-y hiccup. I removed and replaced Firefox on ny Windows XP Dell laptop. The audio is fine on Internet Explorer.

I have a new problem with my Dell Latitude E6500 laptop. I use Windows XP and the latest version of Firefox.
Audio through websites has a jerky, static-y sound to. Youtube, Ted, Pandora, NPR: all the same. The only site that plays O.K. is a video on the Mozilla site.
This started when I downloaded a story from NPR to their player. It was bad, and everything since then, too.
I removed Firefox and downloaded it again.
Internet Explorer doesn't have this problem. Neither do CDs played through the computer.
    Suggestions?

    Hi,
Please check if this happens in [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode Safe Mode]. While in Safe mode you can also try to '''Disable''' all the '''Plugins''' except Flash in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Add-ons'''. Safe mode disables the installed '''Extensions''', and themes ('''Appearance''') in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Add-ons'''. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - the manual setting is '''Tools''' > '''Options''' > '''Advanced''' > '''General''' > [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Options%20window%20-%20Advanced%20panel?as=u '''Use hardware acceleration when available''']. All these settings/options/add-ons can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed in Firefox normal mode to check if an extension, theme, option or hardware acceleration is causing issues. Disabling/enabling hardware acceleration, and some types of add-ons in normal mode may require a Firefox restart.
